Drake brought out Lil Uzi Vert for his concert at the Apollo Theater in New York City, sponsored by SiriusXM, on Sunday night. It was his second night in a row of performing at the city’s iconic venue.
While on stage, Uzi performed his latest single, “Just Wanna Rock.”
Saying goodbye to Uzi on stage, Drake remarked: “I love this guy so much. Before you go, I just want to say 21 said some really nice shit last night, and I gotta echo the same sentiment about this guy.”
“Anytime in life I feel down or whatever it is, I always get a message from him checking in. Never asking for nothing, just checking,” he added.
Drake also labeled him one of the greatest artists of this generation.
The night before, Drake performed a total of 42 tracks while bringing out Dipset as a special guest. He also teased working on a new album for the audience.
“I appreciate all of those people that stick by me.… but I deeply appreciate everybody for continuing to support us,” he said. “I’ve thought about a bunch of things in life, but at this moment in time none of those things are stopping making music for you, so I’ll be here for you for a little bit at least. And I hope I can strike up more emotions for you, maybe this year. I might get bored and make another one, who knows!”
In addition to the performers, a number of high-profile guests were in attendance at Drake’s Apollo shows. Kevin Durant, Ice Spice, and more were all in the audience.

Run-DMC will be performing their final concert to coincide with an upcoming documentary. Speaking with Rock the Bells, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels revealed that they will be holding the show at New York’s Madison Square Garden later this year.
“Run-DMC is over,” he said. “The only way Run-DMC gets back together is if The Beatles get back together. Can that happen?”
“The final show that we are ever going to do is going to be at Madison Square Garden in April,” DMC continued. “It’s going to be the last episode of the documentary we’re doing. Run-DMC’s last show ever. ‘Cause it’s time for Run to go be Paul McCartney and me to be John Lennon. We done did what we could do.”
As for the concert, DMC teased bringing out Ice-T, Wu-Tang Clan, and more.
“The show is going to be like The Last Waltz by The Band,” he added. “We’re doing that movie idea. You’ll see Ice-T come and do a song with us. You’ll see Wu-Tang come do a song with us. Anybody can buy a ticket to the show.”
DMC also compared the documentary to Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s 2017 HBO docuseries The Defiant Ones.
“We’re gonna do it with Netflix or to the highest bidder,” he said. “It’s going to be a live production. Run-DMC’s doing The Last Waltz at Madison Square Garden. Who wants to pay $100 million to own it?”
The announcement comes after what would’ve been Jam Master Jay’s 58th birthday.
Be on the lookout for more information regarding Run-DMC’s final concert in the weeks to come.
After the tragic passing of Gangsta Boo, fans and loved ones are reeling at its shock and as-of-yet unclear circumstances. While millions honored and will continue to honor her legacy and memory, other close ones are reflecting on the wider issues that might be at play. Moreover, Flesh-N-Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony warned Nelly of the dangers of drug use after his viral Juicy Fest performance.
Furthermore, the “Hot In Here” rapper caused concern after he was twisting his head and rolling his eyes back at his show. Even though Flesh’s concern comes soon after Boo’s passing, the official cause of death is still unknown. However, many found rumors that it was due to a drug overdose, which makes the Cleveland MC’s words all the more chilling.
Before going into his thoughts, the Bone Thugs member said he hasn’t drank alcohol in two months and quit weed and all other substances six months ago.
“That’s one of the reasons why I quit doing substances, because they all gateway drugs,” he expressed to TMZ. “All you dopers out there, y’all better be careful, because it’s dangerous; you don’t know what’s in it. But he was out there wigged out, you could tell he was stoned.
“Nelly, you to good to be on that type of shit, man,” he continued. “It kinda threw you off, I never seen you like that, man. You might wanna take the dose down just a little bit. Just a word of advice, leave that s-h-*-t- alone. It ain’t even worth it.”
Moreover, once the conversation hit that topic, Flesh-N-Bone related it to the Three 6 Mafia MC’s passing.
“I think it affects not only the Verzuz situation, but the whole culture of Hip Hop ultimately in a very impactful way because, from my understanding, it was an overdose,” he stated. “And that’s one of those things that segways into what we was talking about earlier because I know so many people by the dozens, family and friends by the dozens and I have to say fentanyl or whatever the case may be that’s coming in, it’s mixin’ in there, you don’t know what you’re doing.
“Nothing’s organic or pure anymore, they can slip it in your drink,” he continued. “And it’s in the pills, it’s in the weed, it’s in the cigars, it’s in the cigarettes. Just a little dose of it, it can hurt you, it’ll do more damage to you than just the feeling of getting high. I know brothers that lost all their children in their 20s. My brother DJ-Uneek lost both of his sons to that. My brother Ken Dog lost his son to that. The list goes on and on and on. Gangsta Boo OD’d the same thing. Something’s got to give, that’s one of the reasons why I’m sober today.”
Still, Gangsta Boo’s official cause of death is unknown as of writing this article. However, what do you think about Flesh-N-Bone’s advice to Nelly concerning drug use? Drake invited 21 Savage and Dipset to perform alongside him at his Apollo Theater show last Saturday (January 21). While he performed one of two scheduled shows at the iconic Harlem theater, he already set the bar quite high. Also, new concert footage follows rumors of a summer tour with him and 21 Savage, though that’s still unconfirmed officially.
Still, any performance between OVO and Slaughter Gang is bound to turn heads. Both rappers became an almost iconic duo last year with the release of their collaborative album, Her Loss. As 21 entered the stage, the crowd helped them sing their hit “Rich Flex.” Moreover, a whole theater asked 21 if he could do something for them.
Meanwhile, Dipset’s appearance excited many, both in the crowd, and on social media. Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freeky Zeeky performed “I Really Mean It,” “Dipset Anthem,” and “We Fly High (Ballin’)” together. The “Nice For What” artist even wore Cam’ron’s iconic pink fur coat and hat.
“These guys right here from Harlem made us dress different, talk different, walk different, rap different — all the way in Canada,” he said.
However, some attentive Drake listeners might not be surprised by the link-up. In fact, his previous single “Diplomatic Immunity” might not be directly about the group, but it’s a reference nonetheless. Also, he’s not part of Dipset, but Drake recently gave Fabulous his flowers, another New York rapper of a similar era.
On the other hand, 21 Savage helped Drizzy perform “Privileged Rappers,” “Spin Bout You,” “Jimmy Cooks,” and “Knife Talk” as well. Other classics he performed at his show include “Marvin’s Room,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Legend,” “Know Yourself,” and many more. In fact, he performed about 41 songs during his set. With one more show scheduled for this Sunday (January 22), Drake’s likely to have another fantastic performance in the books.

Beyoncé reportedly got a hefty cheque for her upcoming performance in Dubai this weekend.
Per TMZ, Queen Bey’s scheduled to touch the stage in Dubai for her first concert since the release ofRenaissance. However, it cost a pretty penny to host her in the United Arab Emirates city. The tabloid publication claims that organizers paid Beyoncé $24M for her upcoming private show.
Though it is invite-only, a few lucky fans caught a glimpse of Beyoncé in action during her sound check. Footage emerged online of Beyoncé performing a slew of hit records, like “Naughty Girl,” “Halo,” “Spirit” and “Freedom. Additionally, she rehearsed two of her biggest hits with Jay-Z, “Drunk In Love” and “Crazy In Love.” Perhaps, this indicates that Hov might pull up.
Beyoncé’s performance at the Atlantis The Royal resort during the grand opening is expected to draw in some significant A-Listers. The resort consists of 231 luxury apartments, 693 hotel rooms, and 102 suites.
The upcoming performance marks Beyoncé’s first concert in roughly five years. On top of that, it’s rumored that the Dubai show serves as a launching pad for the highly anticipated Renaissancetour. Beyoncé hasn’t confirmed dates for the tour but tickets will undoubtedly be costly.
In October, Bey confirmed that she’ll embark on a tour in support of her latest album. Attendees at the 2022 Wearable Art Gala bid five to six figures for tour packages including tickets to the show, travel accommodations, and a meet-and-greet.
We’ll keep you posted on any more news surrounding Beyoncé’s forthcoming tour.
While artists love to give it their all on stage, sometimes it might be too much for fans. Nelly recently turned heads at Juicy Fest in Melbourne, Australia for his odd performance. Moreover, he performed with other notable artists from the 2000s such as Ja Rule, Xzibit, Mya, and many more. Following last year’s clips of him performing to younger girls, this isn’t the only rodeo we’ve had with his shows.
In recently surfaced clips, you can see the St. Louis artists performing his song, “Over and Over” featuring Tim McGraw. During his show, he was smiling and shouting his lyrics quite expressively. Still, it all seems in line with typical stage antics and excitement. After all, when you’ve worked as long as Nelly, you’ve got to find different ways to perform the same song over and over again. However, people really expressed their worries when his eyes rolled into the back of his head at a few points.
As such, many online were quick to clown the show and Nelly’s erratic stage presence. “When that edible starts TO FIGHT BACK,” one user wrote under a clip of his singing. “Like look at this n***a lmao,” another wrote. “He is WASHED, DREDGED, BATTERED AND DEEP FRIED lmaoo.”
Moreover, the last we heard of Nelly was from longtime friend Ashanti, who said she’d work with her ex again last year. She actually teased it multiple times, but most recently discussed so with Selena Hill.
“I don’t know if we’re gonna go to the studio or anything together,” she stated. “But what I will say is, again, we’re both very business savvy. If an opportunity presents itself to make a record and get to the bag, we’re probably gonna be all in.”
Still, with this recent performance clip in mind, fans might be expecting something different if Nelly drops new music. As one of the 2000s’ brightest and most impactful stars, a comeback wouldn’t be surprising. However, let’s see if this is part of his performance gimmick or if he addresses the viral clip.
What do you think of Nelly’s bizarre performance at Juicy Fest this year? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for more weird, curious, or straight up bizarre hip-hop happenings.
