One great example is when Teddy attempts to use a hidden earpiece during a test but accidentally tunes in to a love radio station. Hart makes this character both lovable and hilarious. He is high-energy, with rapid-fire wit constantly being delivered. He carries the movie with his incredible comedic timing and natural charisma.
#1 Nashawn Wade-Soul Plane (2004)
Soul Plane is about Nashawn Wade, played by Hart, a passenger who wins a lawsuit against an airline and uses the money to start his own airline called NWA (Nashawn Wade Airlines). Additionally, the movie features an all-star cast, including Method Man and Snoop Dogg.
While the movie is packed from start to finish with hilarity, one of the funniest scenes is when he accidentally ingests some marijuana brownies and hallucinates that he is speaking with the plane’s captain, played by Snoop Dogg. While another features Nashawn and a malfunctioning bathroom on the airplane. When he tries to fix the toilet, it results in a series of equally cringe-worthy and side-splittingly funny incidents.
Kevin Hart employs his amazing talent to use body language and facial expressions for emphasis, fast-paced and lively delivery, and nuance and wit to bring both vulnerability and strength to the character.
