Joe Budden’s Rap Return Might Happen Soon, He Hints

Joe Budden hasn’t picked up the mic in a long time, deciding to further his media career within the culture and impact it positively from that perspective. While his track record isn’t perfect, just like anyone else’s in this field, it’s hard to argue against his knowledge, influence, and idiosyncratic framework through which he views hip-hop. However, the Slaughterhouse MC recently hinted on his podcast that all this might change soon. Moreover, Sunday’s conversation (November 26) saw him and his co-hosts discussed new music that week, including Kanye West and company’s new song “Vultures.” This is where Budden made his return to rap a possible reality in people’s minds.

Speaking on “Vultures,” Joe Budden said that he’s a big fan of the beat behind it, adding that it “fills his music appetite.” As discussion on the track was dying down, this is where he added some fuel to the speculative fire of the future of his rap career. “Don’t worry, I called Just Blaze the other day,” the New York media personality began. “I’m done talking about these rappers. I’ll do it myself, I’ll do it myself.”

Joe Budden Hints At Rap Comeback: Watch At The 1-Hour & 45-Minute Mark

When one of his co-hosts asked if this was a legitimate return to rap, he had the following answer. “I’ma listen to what Just Blaze has in there that might make somebody want to rap,” Joe Budden remarked. “I’m laying a 15-minute record for sale, $20. It just might be [an] EP but you gonna get this first track for $20.” While he clarified that he doesn’t have any concrete plans, it’s better than nothing. “Whenever that is I don’t want to supe fans up to think that that’s coming soon,” the 43-year-old went on. “Me and Just Blaze have real jobs. That’s what he said. He said, ‘Yo I’m busy with my real job right now.’ Like, ‘Me too!‘ This works out perfectly, great.”

Meanwhile, are you excited for him to potentially return to music? Which one of the “Pump It Up” spitter’s rap rivals do you want to see him trade bars with? Fat Joe Credits DaBaby For His Comeback After Being “Canceled”

After DaBaby made homophobic remarks back in 2021 at Rolling Loud Miami, the backlash that followed made many believe his career was over. However, despite there still being a conversation around whether it’s warranted, the Charlotte rapper has sustained a career in hip-hop since. No matter what side you fall on of that debate, it’s clear that a lot has changed in the years that followed for him, whether from a personal or career standpoint. In addition, his efforts to revitalize himself and get back into the game have gotten a lot of props and praise from fellow industry figures. The latest to tip his hat is Fat Joe, who commended him for working hard and moving past that dark chapter in his life.

“As far as I’m concerned, DaBaby uncanceled himself,” Fat Joe remarked. “The guy’s a beast. DaBaby the rapper is unbelievable. I’ve seen him fighting back and he went from being the biggest in the world to getting canceled to fighting. You know, still making money and all that, but I’ve seen him on the grind. Every time I’ve seen him, I’ve said ‘Yo, stay strong. Stay focused, stay this.’ ‘Cause I think DaBaby and them are the new Terror Squad.

“The man wouldn’t stop working, wouldn’t give up,” Fat Joe continued. “A lot of people give up. When you got the whole media, everybody going against you, most people are not built for the war. I’m explaining to you guys, DaBaby is ready for war! And he is battle-tested, and he smelled this money, he said ‘No, no, no.’ And then through being positive and fighting and going all out for himself, he punched a hole through the atmosphere. And now he’s poppin’! He is uncanceled!”

You might disagree on the musical or personal front, since many think his artistry fell off. Still, given the “BOP” MC’s new music this year, perhaps there is still more massive success left in his career. Regardless, surely this debate won’t die down anytime soon. NBA YoungBoy Returns To Instagram With A Cryptic Message

NBA YoungBoy has returned to Instagram, sharing a cryptic message for his haters. The message was shared alongside a couple of photos of YoungBoy with his cat. Fans in RapTV’s comments section of the news were quick to poke fun the chilling message being paired with a sweet photo of him and his pet. “Same color of my cat eyes the last color you gone see when I Swang on yo b*tcha*s,” the message reads. He adds, “P.S. I won’t forget who said my name.”

Overall, fans seems eager to welcome NBA YoungBoy back to the social media platform. He had previously deactivated his account, and some fans think his return may not last long. Though it’s currently unclear who the ominous message was for, he was recently dissed by Nicolette Gotti. After a fight between Floyd Mayweather and her brother, John Gotti III, went off the rails, she took to Instagram to throw shade. She took aim at Mayweather’s daughter Yaya and YoungBoy, who Yaya shares a child with. Gotti tore into Yaya in the message to her father, writing “@floydmayweather, your daughter was ran through by a animal with 12 different baby mamas – your little circus animal – your all a pack of zoo animals.” She later said she would be “coming for” Yaya.

NBA YoungBoy Sends A Message

Earlier this month, it was also revealed that NBA YoungBoy is being sued for negligence by a woman named Cayden Rutherford. Rutherford alleges that she was thrown off the stage at one of his 2019 performances. She alleges that after climbing onto the stage, a member of staff threw her off onto the venue’s concrete floor. Rutherford claims that she sustained life-changing injuries, including a concussion, and various injuries to her neck, back, and ankle.

Tyler, The Creator also recently discussed working alongside NBA YoungBoy on their 2021 collab, “WUSYANAME.” He called YoungBoy a “sweetheart,” adding that the pair got ice cream together and went vintage car shopping. “At surface level,” he explained, “I guess people wouldn’t expect someone like me to even want to associate with a YoungBoy. But I love that sh*it.”

6ix9ine Bounces Back From Gym Beatdown With “WAPAE” Single Feat. Angel Dior, Lenier, And Bullin 47

6ix9ine has always been one to move differently from his peers. While that may have previously landed him in hot water – particularly during his recent gym beatdown – it’s also done him some favours and is likely why his new “WAPAE” single landed on Saturday (April 15), rather than on New Music Friday. The New Yorker went on an impressive venture around the world to film the upbeat song’s accompanying video, which 6ix9ine says he mostly shot on his iPhone.

“WAPAE OUT NOW 💚💙🧡💜💛❤,” the controversial entertainer wrote in the Instagram caption of his announcement post this afternoon. He shouted out his collaborators, Angel Dior, Lenier, and Bullin 47, before adding, “THIS VIDEO I ALSO FILMED 70% OF IT ON MY PHONE 😂🌈. THANK YOU UGANDA 🇺🇬 THANK YOU DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 🇩🇴 FOR HOSTING THIS VIDEO I HAD SO MUCH FUN. 🇨🇴🇨🇺🇲🇽🇵🇷🇩🇴🇺🇬🇳🇬🇧🇴🇵🇪🇭🇳 🇷🇴 🇸🇻 🇦🇷🇧🇷🇨🇳🇰🇾🇨🇲🇪🇨🇩🇪🇰🇿🇯🇲🇲🇩🇳🇿🇱🇾🇯🇵🇸🇰🇷🇸🇵🇦🇿🇦🇹🇹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸🇸🇩🇪🇭🇻🇺🇮🇱🇦🇺🇳🇱🇭🇹🇸🇳🇻🇪🇨🇮🇱🇾🇵🇰🇹🇹.”

6ix9ine Has a Blast in the “WAPAE” Music Video

Even with the recent trials and tribulations of being brutally attacked, it’s obvious that 6ix9ine has been overflowing with creativity. In the “WAPAE” music video we see him smiling from ear to ear while dancing with exuberant groups of local children, also getting up close and personal in the shower with a beautiful woman. “Oh, my baby, what a rich thing / That mulatto, with that little waist / She has everything, she is very pretty / Her type is me, nobody takes her away from me,” his first verse, when translated to English, goes.

Aside from this weekend’s release, the only other song we’ve heard from 26-year-old so far in 2023 is “Bori.” That arrived on the final Friday of March and also sees him working with Lenier. See 6ix9ine’s new “WAPAE” visual for yourself on YouTube above, or add the track to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. Afterward, tell us your thoughts on the embattled artist’s upbeat comeback track in the comments. For more HNHH release recommendations, tap into our latest Fire Emoji update here.

03 Greedo Delivers His First Post-Prison Album “Halfway There”

The West Coast legend 03 Greedo returned home this year. The rapper began serving a 20-year sentence over four years ago on guns and drug charges. At the time, 03 Greedo was beginning to come into his own with projects like God Level as he helped redefine the West Coast in the post-YG era. Unfortunately, his numerous attempts for parole were denied until earlier this year, though he wasn’t entirely free just yet.

The rapper was released to a halfway house where he’ll have to be for up to 6 months and is only allowed a five-minute phone call each week. He continues to half a battle in front of himself until he’s fully out but he’s made the most of his time. “Where I am I just want to see my daughter and record music,” he said. “I wish I could have released alot more music while I was away. So, I have this chip on my shoulder to just go record n drop at least 12 tapes before my major album and I honestly just don’t want to talk to alot of people yet. I got a lot I want to clear in my head first.”

03 Greedo Makes His Comeback On “Halfway There”

Though he’s not entirely free, he remains optimistic in the face of adversity. The rapper came through this week with the release of his new project, Halfway There. Consisting of 33 songs in total with a runtime of over an hour and a half, 03 Greedo certainly has plenty of things he wanted to get off of his chest. The project boasts production from BIGHEAD, Lex Luger, Sledgren, Harry Fraud, and plenty of others.

Ahead of the project’s release, 03 Greedo unveiled singles like “Bacc Like I Never Left” and “Buss Me Script,” ft. Maxo Kream. Though there isn’t an overwhelming amount of features, Halfway There include appearances from Babyface Ray, Rich The Kid, Ty Dolla $ign, Skilla Baby, and Peso Peso. From top to bottom, 03 Greedo reminds fans of his consistency and prolificacy without missing a beat across Halfway There. Check the project out above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.
