Saweetie is teaming up with Punjabi rapper Diljit Donsanjh for “Khutti.” This track has all the implications of a summer banger and it is well on its way to being a hit.

In its first few days being out, Saweetie and Diljit have already racked up over 3.1 million views on YouTube. That alone tells you right away that is having a global impact. YNW Melly is still awaiting a result from the judges as to what his punishment is or is not. Of course, the the Florida rapper and singer was brought into custody for the murder of his YNW crewmates, Juvy and Sakchaser. That went down in February of 2019. In the meantime, YNW Melly has been semi-active lately in terms of music, as he returns with “Save Me.”

This a love song with features from YNW BSlime, Jit4 Stan, and Ynw4L. Melly and Jit4 Stan are staying on topic about begging for a woman to be in their life. However, BSlime goes in a little bit different direction. With a title like “Save Me,” YNW Melly was assuredly going to be the one referring to his case. But, BSlime is the one to do so instead.

Drake co-signee Zack Bia has been tearing it up over the past year or so, finally releasing his own material. The multi-hyphenate DJ can be heard working with some of the top-notch artists in hip-hop right now. He impressed fans at the beginning of 2023 with his Don Toliver collaboration “Hardcore.” That would be his first solo release of his career, even though he has been in music business for years. Now, Zack Bia is teaming up with Teezo Touchdown for another club banger “DAMN!”

This marks these two artists first time hitting the recording both together and we are loving the oddness of the song. It is extremely trippy, especially if you watch the accompanying music video. The randomness of it all elevates the song’s weirdness factor by a factor of five. Additionally, this further cements the growing aura around Teezo Touchdown.

It is unfortunate that Lil Crix is still dealing with some legal issues. “Kold Shoulder” continues to flash his talent, so hopefully, he will be a free man soon. The Lauderhill, Florida MC you might notice shares a lot in common with another rapper from the area. If you guessed Kodak Black, then you would be correct.

He shares a fairly similar mumbly flow, albeit a little more low-key then Black’s. The reason we make that comparison is because Lil Crix is signed to the trap veteran’s label. As we said though, Crix is locked up so its harder for them to bond and learn from his label head. He was raided by the feds moments after a charity event that saw him donate $30,000 and there has not been much on that since August.

Quavo & Rich The Kid Don’t Totally Hit The Mark On “Real One”

Quavo and Rich The Kid are two of the bigger names we have going in modern hip-hop. Both have their fair share of solid hit songs in their solo discography and have done quite a bit for the genre. 2024 has already been a productive year for the frequent collaborators. Of course, their biggest moments so far are their features on VULTURES 1.

Fans were pretty upset about how Quavo was treated on the eventual release of “FUK SUMN.” He was replaced by Travis Scott, but he did still make it onto “PAPERWORK.” For Rich The Kid, he has been enjoying staying at the top of the charts with “CARNIVAL,” easily the biggest banger from the record. Additionally, he has exciting stuff coming down the line. One third of the Rich Forever group is going to be dropping his first solo album in four years with Life’s a Gamble.

In 2024, Mick Jenkins has been prolific with the features lately and he continues that hot streak with “Yuck Freestyle.”

Here, the veteran MC brings his wild trademark cadence to a dark and jazzy beat. The lead artist on this cut is Thelonious. He is making his debut on the HNHH site and unfortunately, there is not too much information on him. However, after doing some digging it appears he hails from Canada. Additionally, Thelonious has been releasing material since 2020.

Over the last couple of years this duo has put out a small handful of tracks together. That may be a little bit stunning to some, but they really do complement each other’s respective styles. Their works include 2020’s “Inside Job” and 2022’s “Free.” Russ and Premier are building out their synergy further with “Work This Out.”

This is a braggadocious track about being at the top of the rap game and being the example of greatness everyone else needs to meet. Stove God Cooks Is Stirring Up Some Heat On “Carbone” With Stoupe

A few weeks ago we were thoroughly impressed with Stove God Cooks’ single, “Melo Chip and a Brick.” The Babygrande affiliate rapped with conviction over a killer Conductor Williams with blaring horns. Our opinions on the track have been validated since then, as the track has crawled its way into the Syrcause spitter’s top five most popular songs on Spotify. Now, Stove God Cooks is back to feed us once again with a record called “Carbone.”

The producer tag teaming this effort with him this time is Stoupe. He too is from the Midwest, being a resident of Pennsylvania. The underground beat maker brings an instrumental that is a little more easy-going than “Melo Chip and a Brick.” However, it still sounds great in its simplicity.

“Carbone” sees Stove God Cooks absolutely cheffing up a hot dish of confidence with a side of swagger. “They say they gettin’ money but they don’t look like I do (Don’t look like I do) / Ooh, I do (Woo), have ’em wrappin’ your head like Badu (Brr).” His flows on this track are excellent drawing out his “o’s” on the chorus while annunciating every word on the verse. You cannot ask for much more than for him to drop a new album!

GORDO Lays Down A House Beat For Young Dolph On “Kill For This S***”

Young Dolph’s legacy in hip-hop was assuredly never fade. The Memphis rapper has heavily influenced the new sound of the city. It has helped make it one of the hottest spots for hip-hop stars, making it an established hub for the genre. It will be three years on November 17 since his untimely passing and the fans miss him more and more every day. Today, we have another posthumous track as Young Dolph and GORDO are teaming up for “Kill For This S***.”

GORDO may not sound familiar to many, but maybe referring to him as Carnage or DJ Carnage will help. The multi-genre producer has worked with some of the topflight rappers in the game from Migos, Young Thug, and more. This now GORDO’s first collaboration with Dolph and it is not your typical Memphis trap track. The Guatemalan-American DJ works in the EDM and house lanes too and that is the direction for “Kill For This S***.”

Unfortunately, while it is unique to hear Dolph over a house instrumental, the song does not go anywhere. It repeats the chorus twice, which is repetitive itself. It has the typical fast drums and synths and a beat drop or two. While we can respect the effort, it just does not land all that much.
