Sexyy Red Calls Lil Scrappy A “H*e” While Teasing New Collab

Sexyy Red has had an impressive run this year, nabbing a top spot in Rolling Stone‘s end-of-year list and pumping out high-profile collabs almost weekly. In recent months she’s joined forces with the likes of Drake, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Kevin Gates, and more. As 2024 approaches, the hitmaker shows no signs of slowing down, despite being well into her second pregnancy. Lately, Sexyy Red’s been gearing up to drop a track with Baddies cast member Chrisean Rock, but she’s not the only reality star the “SkeeYee” performer has been working with these days.

The St. Louis native also recently linked up with Love & Hip Hop icon Lil Scrappy. The two of them appear to have some new music in the works, though an official release date has yet to be announced. Scrappy took to Instagram to tease the collab yesterday, dropping a video of himself telling viewers, “I ain’t no scary a** b*tch, I’m a h*e.”

“We some hoes baby, you knew that,” Sexyy Red chimed in, prompting Scrappy to proudly reiterate that he’s a “h*e.” She agreed with him, reminding the Atlanta-born performer that Love & Hip Hop fans everywhere have had a front-row seat to his antics for years. “I am a h*e,” he said, to which she responded, “I know, I seen the show.”

“No, I’m talking about now I’m a h*e,” he clarified. “You been a h*e,” she interjected, “We all know.” Scrappy looked taken aback by her comment, coming to his own defense in his caption. “But Hol up Ian saying I’mma h*e h*e I got qualities lol and standards lol,” he wrote. Fans will have to wait to learn more about the collab, but he claims that it’s coming “soon.” What do you think of Sexyy Red calling Lil Scrappy a h*e? Lil Mabu Defends Fivio Foreign Collab, Disproves “N-Word” Controversy

TEACH ME HOW TO DRILL” by Lil Mabu featuring Fivio Foreign is the most self-aware track the white drill rapper’s done so far. In it, he acknowledges his privilege and lack of connection to the genre he plays in with one of its leaders in the New York scene right now. It’s an overall cheeky track to varying degrees of success, but at least the Upper East Side native’s leaning into it rather than trying to come off more hardened. However, this collaboration also addresses the “N-word” and how Mabu can’t say it, which prompted Fivio to “say it for him,” as they rap. Since his line and the B.I.B.L.E. artist’s ad-libs appear so close to one another, many thought that he actually said it.

Then, Lil Mabu acknowledged outlets reporting this as such and asked fans to defend him. “Someone please defend me [raised white fist emoji],” he commented under one of these posts. Of course, a couple of fans did, but it’s funny how a simple Genius search (or just listening to the song) could’ve avoided this conversation altogether. You can watch their music video below and call judgement for yourself; at least it’s definitely better than the material Mabu blew up with.

Furthermore, this is far from Lil Mabu’s first experiences with hot tracks, controversies, or making strides in the wider rap world. For example, he and Chrisean Rock linked up for “MR. TAKE YA B***H,” which actually ended up charting and finding a lot of success among listeners. In addition, this also involved the Baddies star’s ongoing feud with her ex and baby daddy Blueface, with which Lil Mabu also sought some smoke. In fact, there were even rumors that Mabu and Rock were dating, although that seems to have gone nowhere as of writing this article… if it was ever real.

Meanwhile, Fivio actually dropped plenty of other material for this holiday season. One of those is a classic flip of the track “Last Christmas” with Lil Tjay, which gives the Wham! original a nice drill spin. We’ll see if these artists’ next releases cause a similar gut reaction from listeners about the authenticity and respect of their craft. Lil Wayne & Kevin Durant Collab Left Off “ColleGrove 2” But Could Be On “Tha Carter VI”

Lil Wayne has revealed that he has an unreleased collab with Kevin Durant that was at one time considered for inclusion on ColleGrove 2. Wayne copped to the track when asked about it by Bleacher Report‘s Taylor Rooks. “I just want you to know you messed up. That song was being considered to be on Carter VI and now since you’re saying something, it’s not goin’ on Carter VI,” Wayne joked, directing his response at Durant himself. However, Wayne went on to say that the track was considered for ColleGrove 2. However, he decided he wanted to save it for another project.

Furthermore, Wayne had a lot to say about Durant’s skills as a rapper. “KD’s a jewel. He’s a backpack rapper. I can imagine he probably could call a timeout in a game, and probably ask him to rap and he probably got a verse for you,” Wayne mused. The content of Durant’s song with Wayne is as yet unknown. However, KD does have some experience in the music industry. He has a song with LeBron James and was recently credited as A&R on Drake’s For All The Dogs.

Kevin Durant’s White-Hot Season Continues

Meanwhile, Durant is continuing to have a career year at age 35. He is averaging 31 points a game, which would be a career-best if he maintains it. Additionally, his stat line also boasts 6.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists a game. However, the Suns are struggling, currently sitting at 14-13 with one win in their last four games. Injuries have played a major part in their struggles. Despite adding Bradley Beal in a blockbuster trade, Phoenix’s big three has not seen much floor time together due to injuries to Beal and Devin Booker.

Elsewhere, Durant recently responded to a story about being flamed by Moritz Wagner. In a clip from Pardon My Take, Wagner explains how he accidentally flamed Durant during his rookie year. After drawing a foul, Wagner fired off a dismissive “You can’t guard me”, only to realize that he had just said it to Durant. “I think it was Durant, Draymond Green, and DeMarcus Cousins on the free throw line boxout talking sh-t to me. I was so shaken,” Wagner explained. After the clip was published, Durant quote tweeted it, adding “I walked away from that game thinking, damn that rookie is an assh-le.”

NBA YoungBoy On Whether He’s Open To J. Cole Collab

In the latest twist of the ongoing saga surrounding NBA YoungBoy, the Baton Rouge rapper said he’s down to collaborate with J. Cole. But, there’s one peculiar condition. J. Cole must meet him at “Gravedigger Mountain.” For those who may not know, “Gravedigger Mountain” is a term that NBA YoungBoy made up. The word can be traced back to a beef between him and Joe Budden. Budden called NBA YoungBoy’s music “trash.” However, in a social media rant, YoungBoy, who has been under house arrest since 2021, responded to Budden’s critical comments by inviting him to “Gravedigger Mountain” for a face-to-face conversation.

However, the authenticity of “Gravedigger Mountain” has come under scrutiny, notably from DJ Akademiks. The outspoken commentator started speaking on the crime statistics of YoungBoy’s neighborhood, challenging the existence of any actual “graves being dug” on the mountain. Akademiks dismissed it as a metaphorical fantasy, claiming there were no cemeteries in the vicinity and no recorded incidents of graves being dug. Despite the skepticism, YoungBoy’s insistence on this unique condition for a collaboration with J. Cole adds a layer of intrigue to the narrative.

Nobody’s ever gotten murdered there ever in life. What graves are being dug there?” Moreover, social media of course chimed in with their two cents. “I wouldn’t dare step foot in that hell of a place😭,” one person commented. “Bro tryna set him up,” said another. Moreover, whether J. Cole will accept this invitation remains uncertain.

“Everyone think he tryn jus kill da man, y’all think he think he’d get away w that shi? He really sayin if bro brave enough to come see me we can work sum out, cuz he know hell ye that collab would be big,” another person added to the speculation. However, as fans eagerly await J. Sexyy Red Twerks To Kevin Gates Collab “Yonce Freestyle”

In a new clip, Sexyy Red is seen getting down to one of her latest collabs, “Yonce Freestyle.” She teamed up with Kevin Gates and BG for the expectedly raunchy track, which Gates dropped last month. The hitmaker shows off her signature twerking skills to the single, which is set to appear on Gates’ upcoming LP, The Ceremony.

Last week, the pair unveiled a strip club-themed music video for the song. Of course, it also fittingly features plenty of erotic moves. The St. Louis native makes it rain on the dancers in the video, and even does some dancing of her own. Fans figured that a collaboration between Sexyy Red and Kevin Gates would be nothing short of explicit, and clearly, they haven’t been disappointed.

Sexyy Red Gets Down To Track With Kevin Gates

Kevin Gates is far from the only fellow rapper Sexyy Red has teamed up with in recent months, however. This year alone, she’s worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Drake, and more. She joined the Toronto performer on his It’s All A Blur tour throughout the year after they sparked dating rumors with a steamy viral photo. The photo featured Drake planting a kiss on her cheek, but they denied that anything serious was going on between them romantically. They did hit the studio, however, joining forces with SZA for their For All The Dogs track “Rich Baby Daddy.”

Sexyy Red reflected on how the collab came about during an interview with Billboard last week, revealing that the process was pretty simple. “Me and Drake already was cool ever since he brought me on his tour,” she explained. “We talked about doing songs then he put SZA on it.” What do you think of Sexyy Red and Kevin Gates’ collab? What about her dance moves? Do you think they should team up again for more music? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

GloRilla On Her New Music

While the idea of her first full-length album is exciting enough, listeners also eagerly anticipate the collab, though they’ve yet to learn who GloRilla’s teamed up with. There are a few fellow female MCs that she turned down in the past, however, as revealed by Hitkidd on X this week. According to him, a couple of high-profile rappers were interested in hopping on the remix of “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” and he had to make some tough calls.

Nicki Minaj called me to get on the FNF remix,” he wrote. “But I still went who I already had on it because I gave them my word. No cap, Cardi wanted to get on the FNF remix and I hit Meg up to get on there with her. I was tryna change the game and put the hottest women artists on one song! [… ] I fw Nicki’s artistry but I made a moral decision,” he added. “Like I said I was trying to get everybody one song and change the game. I’ll have to get [the other remix] cleared , we have the video with Saweetie though. She showed us a lot of love which is why I still want to drop it. Hopefully we can drop it for the fans!” What do you think of GloRilla claiming that she’s working on two new projects right now? Are you looking forward to hearing her upcoming music? Shaq Gifts GAWNE A Custom Rolls-Royce After Collab, Rapper Thanks Him

Shaquille O’Neal is passionate about many things and many industries, but his love of music is among his most well-documented passions. Whether it’s EDM or hip-hop, he’s always down to engage with the game, and he recently gave a rare rap verse to Chicago rapper GAWNE for his track “CHAOS.” Released on Friday (December 8), it’s a song and music video that came about after the former Laker sent the rapper a DM, and they eventually linked up. However, what he probably didn’t expect was for Shaw to gift him a $1 million custom Rolls-Royce after they wrapped up their video shoot, but such are the surprises you get when you work with such a legend.

“Shaq, man, it’s the craz*est day of my life,” GAWNE says in a clip uploaded to his social media pages. It shows off the maroon-tinged whip in the background, and you can tell by the smile on the MC’s face that he may just be right in his assessment. “Shaq just gave me a f***ing Rolls. Goddamn, man. God bless you, Shaq.” “It’s yours, my boy. Now I gotta take an Uber,” he replied.

He was so passionate and loves rap so much, in every single take he was rapping his heart out. It was such a magical experience. Also, I want to shout from the mountain tops how good of a guy Shaquille O’Neal is, as well. As cool as making a song with him was, what I admire the most about him is his character and him as an individual.”

Nicki Minaj Thanks J. Cole For “Pink Friday 2” Collab In Emotional Post

Nicki Minaj took to social media to publicly thank J. Cole for working with her on the Pink Friday 2 track, “Let Me Calm Down”. “This man J. Cole had a 2 hour talk with me. 2. Two!!!! Didn’t realize I was sitting on a therapist couch but ummm😩2 days later I heard this verse & couldn’t stop crying,” Minaj began her post. “In a world where we know EXACTLY how & WHEN to tear each other apart, there are still Kings & Queens who know how to put ppl back together. Patch them up. Heal them. Empower them. Understand them. Listen to them. Make them do the most beautiful thing a human being can do,” she continued.

Furthermore, she also highlighted how the verse reminded her of the first time that her son smiled at her. “After having #papabear I couldn’t wait for the day he’d smile @ me. First smile? It was one day when I blew a kiss @ him. I said “papa mmuuuaahhhhh!!!!” then? Time froze. Froze. He smiled? He smiled. At Me? Looking directly in my eyes? Yes. Me? Held back the tears & just kept doing a billion more times. I cried later,” Minaj noted. Be sure to read her full post below.

Charlamagne Tha God Thinks Nicki Minaj Needed More Rollout For Pink Friday 2

Pink Friday 2 is already receiving high praise from across the industry. However, Charlamagne Tha God thought that the album didn’t get enough hype before release. “I hate that this album didn’t have a bigger rollout. We knew it was coming out but it’s Nicki Minaj. Whoever she’s signed to…Nicki needed and deserved a bigger rollout. She got records on this album. Why wouldn’t a single come out? Why wouldn’t a big video come out?” Charlemagne said on The Breakfast Club. Later in the conversation, he accused Nicki’s label of not having enough of a plan for the release. He noted this was especially apparent when she had to move the release date due to ColleGrove 2.

Pink Friday 2 did have two singles preceding its release. However, both were released well before the album was either announced or its release date revealed. Furthermore, as Charlamagne said, the album is stacked with big-name features such as Drake, and Future. However, the only thing those tracks received before the album was controversy. Additionally, while the album was also preceded by the AI fan collaboration “Gag City”, Charlamagne is right in arguing that Pink Friday 2 got a surprisingly muted release.

Tyla Had A Feeling Drake Was Going To Follow Her Back On Social Media: “He’s Gonna Come”

Tyla has been rising through the ranks (and the charts) at a rapid rate over the past few months. It is due to her incredible singing talent that she displayed on her breakout hit single, “Water.” The song dropped back on July 28 and has continued to pile up the streams. It currently sits at over 217 million. Because of this Tyla’s hot summer-ready jam is now at the highest it has ever been on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, right at the tenth spot.

Additionally, the South African pop artist recently put out some remixes to the song to add some unique flavor. Travis Scott and EDM megstar producer, Marshmello, each have their versions. “Water” and its remix with the Houston rapper are going to be a part of her debut self-titled album. Apple Music says the LP will be out on March 1, 2024. Tyla gave some fans more to chew on sonically with promotional tracks “On and On,” “Butterflies,” and “Truth or Dare.”

At some point, Tyla was going to receive some co-signs from other popular artists. One of them was Drake.
