Kid Cudi Is Bringing The ‘Insano’ Experience To Coachella 2024 Weekend 2 — Here’s When He Performs

Festivalgoers at Weekend 2 of Coachella 2024 will soon be on the pursuit of happiness. The iconic music festival is keeping the surprises coming, with a special performer announced today (April 16). Joining the line-up is the illustrious Kid Cudi.

Cudi revealed the news via social media, along with Coachella’s official social handles, that he will be performing at Coachella once again.

And with 11 albums in his discography, fans can look forward to over a decade worth of hits.

Cudi last performed Coachella in 2019, and during his set, Kanye West made a surprise appearance. Cudi also dedicated a special song to the late Mac Miller.

As Cudi’s performance comes as a last-minute addition, fans are rushing to plan their schedules in order to see Mr. Rager himself.

When does Kid Cudi perform at Coachella 2024, Weekend 2?

Cudi will perform Coachella this Sunday (April 21). He will perform on the Sahara stage from 5:10 to 5:50 p.m.

Over the course of the past three months, Cudi has dropped two albums — Insano and Insano (Nitro Mega). Though he has quite a big catalog to fill a 40-minute slot with, fans can expect performances of the newer material, as well as some of the long time fan favorites.

Will Smith Surprises Fans at Coachella, Joining J. Balvin Onstage For ‘Men in Black’ Performance

Will Smith unexpectedly appeared onstage at Coachella with Latin star J Balvin on Sunday night. The performance was themed around UFOs, and Smith was dressed full on “Men in Black,” channeling his iconic character’s signature sunglasses no less as they performed the title track of the 1997 sci-fi action film.

The Bad Boy actor’s appearance was not long, but Smith, who is no stranger to rocking a moment on stage, made a memorable performance, ending the set which concluded with Balvin dragged off stage by black-suit-clad dancers while Smith pulled out a “Neuralyzer,” which was the famous memory-eraser device from the film. Balvin actually returned for another song, for a version of his hit “In Da Ghetto” with his dancers, costumed in alien garb, with big green and black eyes.

Balvin, who likes big outlandish stages arose on what Variety described as “a platform from beneath the stage, underneath a giant mock-UFO that looked like a cross between the evil spaceship” from the Jordan Peele film “Nope.”

This isn’t Balvin’s first Coachella performance. In 2019, his set memorably jumpstarted the huge presence of Latin music at the festival that year. That year was a big one for the music festival in the desert as it featured performances from at the time rising stars Bad Bunny and Rosalía. At the end of his set, Balvin, who is Colombian, professed how proud he was to see and hear so many artists performing in Spanish at the world’s biggest music festival. Nowadays, it is more so expected, and much of that credit goes to J Balvin and his peers, who continue to electrify Coachella every year.

Were Lil Baby & Dreezy At Coachella Together? Internet Investigators Think So

The first round of Coachella 2024 is complete. Headliners Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, and Doja Cat went above and beyond to entertain audiences. There’s still more to be enjoyed this coming weekend. Before that, social media sleuths are unpacking all the new content making its way onto Instagram. Specifically, some of them think that Lil Baby and Dreezy might be spending time together after they appeared to be at the same house while attending the festival.

On Monday (April 15), the My Turn artist shared a new photo dump from Coachella, captioned, “Told My Mama Ain’t No Mo Getting Put Out .” Just hours later, Dreezy posted a video with a similar background to her IG Story, immediately raising eyebrows. “He was helping her with the groceries,” one user joked, referencing Lil Meech’s excuse when he was seemingly caught cheating on Summer Walker. “He like them dark skin and petite, it makes me sad but I respect it ,” another said, speculating what Baby’s type might be.

Interestingly, it was only a few days ago that the Atlanta-based star was outside with his co-parent, Jayda Cheaves. Lupe Fiasco Is Hungry For Rap Beef Amidst Big Three Battle

Lupe Fiasco is still going strong. The Chicago emcee may be a twenty-year veteran in the rap game, but his skills are sharp as ever. He’s also experiencing a resurgence in popularity, as evidenced by his recent performance at Coachella. Lupe ran through his classic hits, and then paused his set at one point to make a bold announcement. Drake and Kendrick Lamar may be the top of the food chain in terms of relevance, but Lupe asserted that he would demolish any current rapper in a battle.

It gets better. Lupe Fiasco not only promised to demolish any rapper who stepped to him, but made it clear that he wants it to happen. He’s ready for the smoke. “I don’t give a f**k how many records you sold,” he told the Coachella audience. “If you want smoke, I swear on my muthaf**kin soul, I will walk through n***as. I will chew up n***as, I will body muthaf**kas. Lupe then ups the ante by calling out artists like Tyler, The Creator and Bad Bunny. “I don’t care,” he added. “I do this s**t for real.”

Lupe Fiasco Promises To “Chew Up” Any Rapper

It’s not a stretch to connect Lupe’s comments with the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef. Lupe has had heated exchanges with Lamar in the past, and he even tweeted about the Compton rapper on April 8. The competitive streak carried over to X (formerly Twitter), where Lupe quote tweeted his Coachella performance and doubled down on his promise to destroy any and all rappers.

“Had to add my little comment to the current narrative” Lupe wrote. “Folks been sideways on socials and in the media at me all week like I won’t casually rap these boys and girls into the shadow realm. Either spawn in and smoke it up or let me finish watching these cybertruck reviews.”

The cybertruck line is a reference to Lupe Fiasco’s latest single, “LLC.” The Chicago rapper absolutely skates on the track, taking others to task for being being false prophets and mocking those who take his skills for granted. “Hawaiian lectures in Madagascar raps,” he spits. “Should I get the Cybertruck or bring a gas car back?” Only time will tell if there’s a rapper brave enough to give Lupe the beef he wants.

During a conversation with E! News, she was asked to give her best advice to single people. “I don’t know if I’m the best person to give advice, because my advice is like just learn a skill or develop a hobby,“ and do not waste your energy on boys. All they’re going to do is drain you. Just move on. Invest in yourself,” Fox replied. The comments got plenty of attention online as fans reacted to what she had to say. That became the case even more when Machine Gun Kelly weighed in with his thoughts. He commented “PREACH” on a clip of the interview that Fox reposted to her Instagram, prompting fan confusion. Tyler The Creator Addresses Jerrod Carmichael Rejection During Coachella: “It Was Terrible”

Tyler, The Creator addressed his appearance on Jerrod Carmichael’s new reality series during his performance at Coachella over the weekend. In the episode, the comedian revealed that he had romantic feelings for Tyler, but that he rejected him. On stage at the iconic festival, Tyler addressed the incident and described it as “terrible.”

“Probably seen my homie tried to f**k me on camera, it was terrible,” he remarked. “I told the n***a ‘no’ and he said, ‘But what about if we filmed it?’ Terrible!” During the premiere of The Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show, Carmichael revealed that Tyler previously called him a “stupid b*tch” when he first revealed his feelings. Despite that rejection, Carmichael invited Tyler on the show to discuss the matter at length.

Travis and Taylor attended the Neon Carnival and danced to Jack Antanoffs band bleachers performance, dancing the night away. Travis was decked out in quite the Coachella fit, rocking a Happy Gilmore hat with bold striped pants. Taylor Swift was decked out in all-black.

Fans were treated to dancing and sharing intimate moments during Coachella. The couple were doing Coachella right, bouncing around to all the parties while giving fans a show. With the giant crowds and demand to see performances, even the VIPs had to get creative to see everything. That’s what Travis Kelce had in mind. The Super Bowl-winning tight End had put some of his football skills to use to help his lady out.

Travis Kelce decided he could give Taylor Swift a boost, and he did just that. Kelce Picked up the pop star pretty effortlessly. He showed off his NFL strength, and fans couldn’t believe it. It’s another lowkey viral moment from the couple who took over the NFL narrative last season. Coachella is one of the biggest if not the biggest music festival in the world. Having said that, getting a spot on the bill is no small task. Well, she pulled it off, and her set has been garnering quite a bit of praise. Following her set, Spice got to hang out with the likes of Taylor Swift and her beau, Travis Kelce. In fact, they were all in the VIP pit together during a performance, and some of the scenes are going viral. Mostly because of Spice’s actions, although Travis and Taylor were definitely in their own little headspace.

50 Cent was loving Kesha’s decision to diss Diddy at Coachella. He shared a clip of her performance on Instagram, Sunday, and joked that Diddy will theorize he told her to do so. While performing her iconic track, “TiK ToK,” with Reneé Rapp, she changed up the lyric: “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P Diddy.” Instead, she replaced the final words with, “f*ck P Diddy.”

“LOL she said [middle finger emoji] Fvck P DIDDY, HAHAAHAHA [eyeball emoji] PUFFY LIKE 50 TOLD HER TO SAY THAT!” 50 wrote on Instagram. Fans shared plenty of laughs in the comments section. “The devil works hard, but 50 works even harder,” one user wrote. Another commented: “Bc nobody wants to wake up in the morning feelin’ like P Diddy right now.”

It wasn’t the first time Kesha had changed the lyrics either. Following Cassie’s lawsuit back in November, which served as the tipping point for countless more suits in the time since, Kesha sang, “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me!” while performing on her Only Love Tour in Oakland. In addition to the lawsuits, Homeland Security agents raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex trafficking investigation, last month. Diddy has denied all of the claims against him and has yet to face any charges. His lawyer, Aaron Dyers, labeled the raids on his properties a “gross overuse of military-level force” in a statement at the time.
