Allegations Of Rape & Assault

Abashe said she met Allen online in 2021 and entered into a relationship with him. However, on July 16, 2022, when Abashe visited Allen’s house in New Jersey, she alleged encountering a nightmare. Instead of a private rendezvous, she claimed she found herself in the company of two unknown men, who allegedly drugged and assaulted her. Abashe claims to have been raped on Allen’s pool deck while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and later, in a bedroom by Allen himself. The lawsuit details horrifying accounts of sexual assault, including physical and emotional trauma suffered by Abashe.

Abashe Submits Alleged Evidence

Following the alleged assault, Abashe said she took significant steps to seek justice. She underwent a rape kit examination, which reportedly revealed traces of Allen’s sperm. Photographs of bruises sustained during the incident were taken, further corroborating her claims. Additionally, Abashe engaged in a recorded conversation with Allen, during which he allegedly admitted to having sexual intercourse with her. Subsequently, law enforcement obtained a warrant for surveillance footage and other evidence, including allegations that Allen attempted to destroy potentially incriminating materials.

On the criminal side, he ultimately never faced any charges, even though Abashe did take her allegations to police. While she “chose silence,” she said that she decided to sue Akademiks after the allegations resurfaced at the end of 2023. Around that time, both parties addressed the claims on social media.

Defamation Claims & Social Media Response

In response to the allegations, Allen denied any involvement in the assault, claiming he was asleep at the time. However, in a video addressing the incident, he made statements that Abashe’s lawsuit argues as defamatory, stating during a Dec. 30th, 2023 stream, “She was getting trained by my two mens on my pool deck.” Allen’s remarks, suggesting Abashe willingly participated in an orgy, are contested by the lawsuit, which claims he “defamed” her by “accusing her of voluntarily having an orgy with his friends at his home while maintaining that he never participated at all.” Abashe’s decision to file the lawsuit followed unsuccessful attempts to privately resolve the matter, according to her lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn.

Has Akademiks Responded?

Although his main Instagram account was removed online just a day before the lawsuit arrived, he responded to the lawsuit during a recent livestream. “My only comment should really be: whatever this is should be handled in court. Just know that, according to the law and according to the police and according to all sanctioning, governing authorities, Akademiks is an innocent man who has not ever been charged with anything of the sort that has to do with any deviancy or anything like that. Has never been charged, will never be charged,” he said.

However, he claimed that this civil lawsuit against him is a “shakedown.” He added that he’s not under any sort of criminal investigation, though mentioned that the current attorney for Abashe is actually representing Lil Rod in his lawsuit against Diddy. Ak said Tyrone Blackburn, the attorney for Abashe, is attempting to gain some sort of monetary gain out of him.

“I’m not even hiding and ducking from a situation, or ducking from the narrative that happened,” he said. “I pretty much told everything. And also I told the truth. The police came, they looked, we gave them everything. Pretty much everything is documented, caught on videotape. They got to see it with their own two eyes. Not only did they say, ‘Ak, you good’ — and this is not just word of mouth. This is, ‘You’re officially clear. We could not bring any criminal Charges. You are not criminally liable.’ But also, anybody else in the situation, was also clear.”

Who Is Ziya Abashe?

Fauziya “Ziya” Abashe is the plaintiff in the lawsuit against DJ Akademiks. In response to the suit, she told Rolling Stone, “I’m confident that justice will prevail and the veil will be removed so no other woman will have to endure what I did.”

Abashe boasts over 11,000 followers on Instagram. Her YouTube page, where she vlogs and shares product reviews, also has over 13,000 subscribers. “African girl with insatiable curiosity.  Interested in spirituality, astrology, beauty/health and DIY’s,” her bio reads. Outside of that, there’s little information available about her. However, she seems to be quite active on social media.

6ix9ine Ordered To Pay A Woman Nearly $10 Million For Assault After Failing To Appear In Court

6ix9ine’s seemingly endless legal troubles have dealt him yet another blow. The rapper now could end up having to pay a verdict of nearly $10 million to a Florida woman. According to AllHipHip, a jury in Florida awarded Alexis Salaberrios a verdict of $9.8 million after the rapper failed to appear at a civil trial earlier this year. The civil case spawned from the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, hitting Salaberrios in the head with a bottle of champagne.

In the time since the verdict, Slaaberrios claims that 6ix9ine has made it difficult for her to collect her money on purpose. She claims that he’s deliberately hiding his assets. His aim being to avoid giving her the opportunity to collect what she’s owed. As a result, she moved for the court to allow her to seize his income in order to make up the amount in the suit. Revisit the lawsuit from when it happened back in 2021 below.

6ix9ine Must Pay $9.8 Million

One thing 6ix9ine and his fans probably weren’t expecting recently was for Drake to take shots at him. But that’s exactly what happened on his new Scary Hours 3 EP. Across the new songs, Drizzy took shots at many people. Most notably, Joe Budden, Kanye West, and rival Pusha T. But on the song “Stories About My Brother” he delivers one particularly notable line. “Y’all the type to catch a charge, head to the deposition/ And act like the rapper named after the sex position” Drake says in reference to Hernandez.

Earlier this year, the rapper and some accomplices reportedly attacked producers in the Dominican Republic. The high-profile arrest that followed saw crowds of fans following him around everywhere he went. Shortly afterward, he announced on Instagram that he was forced to stay in the Dominican Republic for the next six months. What do you think of 6ix9ine being forced to pay a woman almost $10 million after failing to appear in court? Let us know in the comment section below.

Soulja Boy Lucks Out In Civil Case With Ex-Girlfriend Over Awarded Damages

Back in April, a judge awarded Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Myers $235,900 in punitive damages in their civil case. For those unaware, Myers sued the rapper for alleged assault and kidnapping at a 2019 party at his home in Malibu, and emerged victorious when the case went to jury. Moreover, Soulja’s team sought a new trial after this development, pointing to jury misconduct as a crucial reason to reevaluate the trial. Apparently, these wishes might see some fulfillment according to a recent report from MyNewsLA on the legal matter. Furthermore, Judge Mark Epstein of California expressed concern on Thursday (June 29) that jurors lacked important evidence and information in the case.

In particular, this evidence and information refers to Soulja Boy’s financial affairs, such as income, saving, expenses, and debt. In fact, Epstein stated that Myers did not present any evidence of these factors in her initial suit, and that the lack such information should’ve halted the case from proceeding. “The court is concerned that, absent at least some evidence on this point, the issue should never have gone to the jury,” a judicial clerk wrote according to the outlet’s report. The court scheduled a hearing for July 21 to discuss the issue.

Nevertheless, until that hearing comes to a conclusion, Myers still won her lawsuit and can stand by that verdict. The jury in this case granted punitive damages for “physical and mental pain and suffering,” with additional funds for healthcare expenses. “We’re pleased with the jury’s verdict,” prosecutor Max Engelhardt remarked at the time. “[Soulja Boy] assaulted and terrorized Kayla, and that was borne out by the evidence and testimony. The punitive damages were substantial, and hopefully, they will serve as a lesson to Mr. Way that his celebrity status is not a license to commit violence.”

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old is still up to his usual antics online, even amid these pressing legal matters. For example, he recently participated in a hilarious livestream with TikTok star Terri Joe where she made some bold claims about their… interactions. We have to wait a few weeks to see where this case lands, but we’re sure that he will keep being himself in the meantime. On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Soulja Boy.

Cosby faces claims from a woman who says the comedian molested her at the Playboy Mansion in the 1970s when she was a teenager. Judy Huth previously said the alleged incident happened in 1974, and Cosby’s team tried but failed to get the suit dismissed after she changed the timeline of her story. He denies all allegations.

Prosecutors say there won’t be criminal charges because the case is past the statute of limitations.
