In the video from his IG account, Yo takes his followers on an extravagant tour throughout his home. He shows off all the decked halls and massive Christmas trees with loads of gifts. His girlfriend, Angela Simmons posted some pictures as well, showing how her man spoiled her. According to HipHopDX, she received three boujee Birkin bags that might be worth nearly $400,000. Additionally, Yo had to give back to his loving mother too. He wrote her a huge check for $100,000. Yo Gotti said it best in his caption, “IF YOU AINT HUSTLIN TO SHARE IT WITH UR PPL IDK WTF YOU DOING!”

Boosie Badazz Reunites With His Mom & Drops $50k On His Family For Christmas

Boosie Badazz has made amends with his mother after the two had a falling out over his recent lawsuit against his brother. In a post on Instagram, Tuesday, he showed fans a picture of himself and his mom celebrating the holidays. He also revealed that he dropped $50,000 on gifts for his family for Christmas.

“BACK WITH MOMA!! HONOR THY MOTHER AND FATHER NO MATTER WHAT,” Boosie captioned the post. He had revealed the rift in his relationship with his mother during an Instagram Live post, earlier this year. “I lost a relationship with my mom and everything,” he explained at the time, before revealing that he would still go forward with the lawsuit. “I don’t give a damn. You think I’m dropping this lawsuit? I swear to God I ain’t.”

Boosie also showed love to his aunts on social media for Christmas. “I bought seven Rolexes for seven of my aunties. I done gave away like $50,000 to all my family, I love my family, man. Everybody got $500 to $1,000. All my aunties got Rollies, my mama got diamond chain, bag, money,” Boosie said during a live stream. He added: “I love my aunties. My aunties used to watch me, and I was a b*tch-ass child, bro. My aunties took care of me, bro. I wish my Auntie Jean was here. Memories, man. “The Color Purple” Grabs Massive Opening Day

The Color Purple recorded the second-best Christmas Day opening of all time, bringing in $18M this past Monday. The only Christmas Day opening to do better than The Color Purple was 2009’s Sherlock Holmes, which brought in $24.6M. Furthermore, the film opened to a 88% critic’s rating on Rotten Tomatoes. “Woke up to all the positive reactions to #TheColorPurple. What a blessing!!! Grateful to all who helped me make this film. Let’s continue to pack the theaters y’all,” director Blitz Bazawule wrote on X.

The film is the most recent reimagining of the seminal novel by Alice Walker. After Walker wrote the book in 1982, it was quickly turned into a film in 1985. The film was directed by Steven Spielberg and served as Winfrey’s breakout role. In 2005, an adaptation opened on Broadway and was revived in 2015. This year’s film is more of an adaptation of the musical than the original novel.

Oprah Reveals Original Studio Vision For The Color Purple

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey has said that when she first approached studios with a pitch to remake The Color Purple, the studio heads wanted to cast someone like Beyonce or Rihanna in the film. “To be completely honest about it, if you were doing this film for $30 or $40 million, the interest in the cast would be very different. Once the film moved to $90 to $100 million, then everybody wants us to bring Beyoncé. Can you get Beyoncé or can you get Rihanna?’ So we’re sitting in a room saying, ‘Listen, we love Beyoncé. We love Rihanna, but there are other actors who can do this job.’ I do remember conversations about, ‘Y’all, Beyoncé is going to be busy this year.’ It wasn’t even a negotiation, because you’re not getting Beyoncé,” Winfrey told The Hollywood Reporter.

Instead, Winfrey was able to assemble an all-star ensemble cast. The film stars Fantasia Barrino, Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, H.E.R., and Halle Bailey just to name a few. The film is being helmed by Blitz the Ambassador, the Ghanian musician and director. He has previously released 2018’s Death of Kojo and the Lion King visual companion Black is King. The screenplay comes from playwright Marcus Gardley.

Drake Pays Homage To Mom And Adonis, Brings Live Singer To His Home

Drake has had himself a year to remember. Overall, he went on a massive tour of North America with 21 Savage and even dropped a new album. Moving forward, he is going to have another big year in 2024 thanks to his upcoming tour with J. Cole. Although he vowed to take a break, it seems like Drizzy is more content when he is working. He has made being a workaholic a habit, and he will not be changing that up, anytime soon.

However, the man did get to take a bit of a break this weekend as he celebrated Christmas at his residence. As it turns out, his mom and his son Adonis were all there, and he made sure to show some love. In the image below, Drake can be seen with his loved ones, posing in front of a Christmas tree. Moreover, he paired this with a lengthy caption which showcases his gratitude. Not to mention, it flexes a bit of that lyrical prowess that has made him so popular.

Like many other American families, the Barkers were glad in festive pyjamas while running outside to check out their presents. The $150K vehicle was definitely the biggest treat the blonde beauty got, but it wasn’t the only noteworthy flex she posted online.

Elsewhere, Kris Jenner gave her extended family member a $4K watch from Cartier, and her step-mom came through with a stunning diamond necklace.

Travis Barker has done plenty to prove he’s a great father this year, from supporting Kardashian through her fetal surgery before the Poosh founder gave birth to their son, Rocky. Lats month, DJ Akademiks revealed some interesting information about what he had to go through to get an interview with Bobby Shmurda. Right after the rapper was released from jail he was a hot commodity for rap blogs. So Akademiks had to prove he was serious to get an interview. “Yo, I waited… I think, like, ten hours for Bobby Shmurda when he just got out. I slept at the studio waiting for this n*gga. They kept telling me, ‘Oh, his jet is coming.’ They’re like, ‘Yo, when he lands, he wants to pull right up there.’ I’m like, ‘Can’t you just tell me when he’s actually even here?’ They’re like, ‘Nah, yo, just be on standby,” Ak explained.

Shmurda has been traveling quite a bit since being released from prison. In addition to Dubai, he’s also made his impact while on stops in London and Paris earlier this year. In the fall, sources were suggesting that West was planning to remain in the Middle East for Christmas. It was said that ex-wife Kim Kardashian might fly their four children to Italy to be with the DONDA rapper and his new partner, Bianca Censori. We now know they came to a different agreement. The evening of Santa’s visit the kids were at the annual Kar-Jenner festive gathering. Blue Ivy Carter also spent her night at the star-studded function. On Christmas Day, North and her two little brothers hit up the Lakers game with Kanye.
