Last month, Meek Mill found himself at the center of a lot of controversy, as it was rumored he was named in Lil Rod’s lawsuit against Diddy. Amid all the drama surrounding the debacle, the rapper’s luck took yet another turn for the worse when he crashed his brand-new car. He took to his Instagram Story to share a photo of the damage to his vehicle, also revealing that he took it as a sign from God. “God telling don’t crash out for the bustas,” he captioned the image. “Ima listen sh*t knocked me out lol… gmc the whole brake pedal slipped off my first time driving smh.” For obvious reasons, fans were concerned. Luckily, he appears to have been mostly unharmed in the crash.

Yesterday, the Memphis-born performer took to Twitter/X to reflect on the frightening incident, unveiling never-before-seen footage of his damaged vehicle. “First day I bought this car no air bags … Brake pedal came off … with door open no safety effects … no laser censor working … this knocked me out bad, I was in park and the car started pulling off! I had this car for 4hrs maximum,” he captioned the clip.

Meek Mill also took the opportunity to inquire about Tesla’s huge Cybertruck recall. He noted how his non-Tesla electric car got him hurt, while Teslas have always seemed safe to him. “Wassup with these cyber trucks because I had another brand electric car ‘not Tesla’ do the same thing I crashed and got hurt bad,” he wrote. “The air bags didn’t even come out in a totaled car! Chiefs’ Rashee Rice Faces Criminal Charges: What We Know

The Kansas City Chiefs’ Rashee Rice was one of the most popular NFL rookies in 2023. The 23-year-old wide receiver ended his rookie season on the highest of notes, winning Super Bowl LVIII. Since then, Rashee Rice’s popularity has skyrocketed, and understandably so. However, following a recent multi-vehicle crash he was involved in, Rashee Rice has made headlines. The Super Bowl champion is now in an unfortunate position and faces criminal charges. In the aftermath of the accident, Rice seems to be in some serious trouble. Here’s what we know about the incident, and the charges the wide receiver currently faces.

The Crash & Its Aftermath

On March 30, 2024, a reported multi-car crash involving six vehicles happened on North Central Expressway in Dallas right before 6:30pm. The crash was caught on the dashcam of a car whose driver witnessed the incident. It involved a Lamborghini Urus, a Chevrolet Corvette, and four other cars, all whose occupants were unknown at the time. The video shows as the Urus and Corvette zoom past and seemingly go out of control. That caused a chain reaction collision that affected four other vehicles.

After the cars came to a halt, the video shows five men exiting the Urus and Corvette, and leaving the scene of the crash. They left on foot, and did not check to see if the other victims of the crash were in need of help or medical attention. The men were unidentified at the time, but soon after, news of their identities was reported. Subsequent reports revealed that Rashee Rice was the one behind the wheels of the Lamborghini Urus, while Theodore Knox, 21, drove the Corvette. After the incident, two of the drivers in the cars that were hit were treated for minor injuries at the scene. Two other victims were transported to the hospital to be monitored and assisted.

On April 3, 2024, Rice met with the Dallas Police Department and acknowledged his involvement in the crash. Afterwards, he wrote on his Instagram story, “Today I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday’s accident. I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.”

Is Rashee Rice Being Charged?

Before the crash, Rashee Rice had not had any major legal issues associated with his name. However, the situation seems to be quite serious, and may cost the 23-year-old. The NFL player’s attorney has shared that he’s kept his word so far, cooperating with authorities. However, Rice will not escape the ordeal unscathed, unfortunately. He is now facing several felony charges for his part in the crash. The police issued him warrants for one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision involving injury. Theodore Knox also faces similar charges for his involvement in the incident. On April 11, 2024, Rice turned himself in at the Glenn Heights Police Department. Subsequently, he was booked into the Regional Jail in DeSoto. However, on Thursday night, April 12, 2024, he was released on a $40,000 bond.

Besides the eight aforementioned charges, Rashee Rice has now also been hit with a lawsuit for his part in the crash. Edvard Petrovskiy and Irina Gromova, two people who say they are victims from the incident, filed a lawsuit on April 11. The pair claim to have suffered multiple injuries from the crash, including lacerations and contusions, brain trauma, disfigurement, and internal bleeding. They are seeking a minimum of $1 million in actual damages, and $10 million in punitive damages.

Chris Brown got into a minor accident in his Lamborghini while leaving The Nice Guy in Hollywood after a night out, this weekend. TMZ reports that the fender-bender left his ride with “some major scuff marks.” In pictures from the scene, he appeared quite frustrated over the incident.

The next morning, paparazzi caught Brown getting upset about the accident again while assessing the damage with a group of people. The exact extent of the damage remains unclear, but one photo shows the front bumper dented, amongst other scrapes.

The accident in Hollywood comes after Brown recently took to his Instagram Story to announce a deluxe version of his album, 11:11, and deride mainstream success. “11:11 deluxe album will contain 13 new songs. So all together 35 songs Drops 4/11 be 35 this year,” he began in one post. From there, he added: “I DONT WANT TO BE ACCEPTED FROM NONE OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND FAKE CELEBRITIES. I AM KING IN MY OWN LANE. YOUR FAVE AINT GOT SH*T ON ME AND THEY KNOW IT. AINT FINNA TAP DANCE FOR APPROVAL. YOU WILL BEG FORGIVENESS OF ME THAT I DO KNOW.” Prior to the post, he claimed the NBA uninvited him from the Celebrity All-Star Game due to backlash from sponsors.

The deluxe version of 11:11 is dropping on April 11. Brown worked with Bryson Tiller, Joyner Lucas, Tee Grizzley, and Davido on the new music. Three College Swimmers Killed In Horrific Car Crash

The University of Wyoming is reeling after three members of their varsity swim and dive team are reported to have died in a car crash in Colorado. According to police, the crash occurred yesterday afternoon on US 287 just south of the Colorado-Wyoming border. The athletes have been named as freshman Carson Muir, sophomore Charlie Clark, and junior Luke Slabber. Two other athletes were injured but are expected to survive, according to the school. However, the two injured athletes have not been named. The southbound SUV, which swerved and rolled, was not on an official school trip. Additionally, more details will not be available until a full investigation into the crash is conducted.

“My thoughts and prayers are with our swimming and diving student-athletes, coaches, families and friends. It is difficult to lose members of our University of Wyoming family, and we mourn the loss of these student-athletes. We have counseling services available to our student-athletes and coaches in our time of need,” Wyoming AD Tom Burman said in a statement. Additionally, the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships take place in Minneapolis and Knoxville next month.

Horrifying Repetition Of History For Wyoming

However, long-tenured members of the Wyoming athletics department will be thinking back to 2001 tonight. On the same highway three members of their swim & dive team just lost their lives, eight members of the cross country team died in 2001. Furthermore, Clint Haskins, a Wyoming student at the time, swerved into oncoming traffic and caused the crash that killed the eight athletes. Haskins was the only survivor of that crash and later pled guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide. Furthermore, he would serve nine-and-a-half years in prison as as result.

“We are heartsick at the news of this terrible tragedy for our university, our state, our student-athlete community and, most importantly, the families and friends of these young people,” University of Wyoming President Ed Seidel said in the statement about this week’s tragedy. Michael B. Jordan Car Crash Investigation Closed Over Insuffient Evidence

The LAPD has closed an investigation into Michael B. Jordan following reports that the actor had been involved in a drag racing-induced car crash in December. According to a police spokesperson, the department felt they had “insufficient evidence” to prove that Jordan was responsible for the crash and thus would not pursue charges.

At the time, the prevailing theory was that Jordan had been racing another car. Dashcam footage released by TMZ after the crash showed Jordan’s blue Ferrari racing alongside a red Ferrari before Jordan appeared to lose control and slammed into the side of a parked car on the side of the road. Jordan was not seriously injured but refused to give police his version of events when originally questioned. The driver of the other car later came forward to deny that the pair had been racing.

A much happier moment for Jordan came last October. Jordan and Steve Harvey were all smiles as they caught up at the NBA Abu Dhabi Games. Michael B. Jordan Ferrari Crash Video Appears To Show Actor Involved In Street Race

A newly-released video of Michael B. Jordan’s recent car crash appears to the actor engaged in a street race moments before hitting a parked car on Sunset Boulevard. The dashcam video, published by TMZ, shows Jordan’s blue Ferrari racing alongside a red Ferrari before Jordan appears to lose control and slams into the side of a parked car on the side of the road. Jordan was not seriously injured but refused to give police his version of events when originally questioned.

On the morning of December 9, he was driving on the I-95 exit ramp when a black Tesla smashed the back of his vehicle. Authorities on the scene believe the driver was under the influence. With it happening in the early morning, it is certainly a likely possibility. 2 Chainz recorded a video of himself being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher.

Over Art Basel weekend, Florida Highway Patrol confirmed there was a three-vehicle crash in which one, then-unidentified adult male was rushed to a local hospital. The hospitalized driver was later identified as ATL trap rap star 2 Chainz, who is now speaking out for the first time since the accident.

Yesterday, (December 11), Chainz posted an image of the car that hit his Mercedes from behind on IG, captioning his post, “This the car that hit us from behind..Praise God for the blessings , Things could have been worse , but it wasn’t , don’t wanna pity party, but i do appreciate every single person that checked up on me , sometimes someone in my position don’t feel like the love real or maybe it’s mind thing , but I truly felt the love and don’t worry bout me , I’m good , shake back king 💪🏿”

Reports noted a Tesla hit 2 Chainz’s vehicle while the artist was driving on I-95. Police allegedly suspect the person in the Tesla was driving under the influence. The rapper’s car was hit from behind by the Tesla and 2 Chainz’s car was totaled as a result. 

According to TMZ, the 46-year-old rapper managed to avoid being seriously injured in the incident and he’s back home resting.

2 Chainz Cleared From Hospital After Miami Car Crash

2 Chainz is fortunately okay following a three-car accident in Miami over the weekend for Art Basel, allegedly close sources to him told TMZ. Moreover, they relayed that he left the hospital hours after he initially went in on Saturday morning (December 9), following a check-up from doctors. The rapper didn’t sustain any significant injuries, was just a little rattled, and is reportedly happy to be out of the medical facility and back home to rest before the holidays kick into full swing. On his Instagram account, he shared a picture of the car that struck his vehicle from behind, a video of him walking to a private jet, and a thankful and heartfelt message for his supporters and loved ones.

“This the car that hit us from behind,” 2 Chainz wrote on the social media platform. “Praise God for the blessings , Things could have been worse , but it wasn’t. Don’t wanna pity party, but i do appreciate every single person that checked up on me. Sometimes someone in my position don’t feel like the love real or maybe it’s mind thing. Furthermore, authorities found that he was not responsible for this three-vehicle crash. After all, police suspect that the driver that hit 2 Chainz’s car from behind was under the influence at the time.
