Blueface’s Behavior Leads To Various Petitions Calling For Him To Be “Canceled”

At this point, Blueface is known for the antics in his relationships with the mothers of his kids. Chrisean Rock recently gave birth to his third child, and the rapper has since publicly accused her of being a bad mother. This was prior to him meeting the child for the first time, as he was not present at his birth. He was instead spending time with Jaidyn Alexis, the mother of his first two kids. Just in the past month there’s been an incredible amount of back-and-forth between all three of them.

First Blueface wasn’t on good terms with Chrisean, until he was again. When they were spotted in the studio together, Jaidyn Alexis lashed out online, claiming she was done with him. Then, Jaidyn joined him onstage at a show a few days later. Now, he’s back off of good terms with Chrisean, after he posted a photo of his newborn son naked. The new mother seems to be interested in pressing charges against him for sharing the photo online, and claims that he has more explicit images of the child.

Petitions Call For Blueface To Be Stopped

Moreover, the way he’s seen treating the women in his life consistently ruffles a lot of feathers. He frequently boasts about cheating, accuses the mothers of his kids of cheating, and continues to display a concerning lack of empathy, according to many. This has only been amplified since Chrisean Jr.’s arrival. The situation has now gotten so out of hand that a variety of petitions have popped up online, calling for him to be “canceled.”

Many of them cite his treatment of Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis, his kids, and just being “toxic” overall. At the time of writing, there are 19 separate petitions on Change.org, claiming that people need to ban together to put an end to his allegedly harmful behavior. With that being said, however, it doesn’t look like Blueface will be falling off the radar anytime soon. What do you think of all the petitions calling for Blueface to be stopped? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Blueface.

“The Idol” From The Weeknd Officially Canceled By HBO After One Season

The Weeknd’s HBO series with “Euphoria” head Sam Levinson this year, “The Idol,” was certainly an event. It was far from a beloved, perfect, and praised one, but it was still one of the most dominant and divisive cultural conversations of 2023 so far. Amid criticisms of the show’s quality itself, its themes and graphic depictions of them, and reports on the series’ behind the scenes wrongdoing and chaos, there was a lot to unpack and pick apart with the story of Jocelyn and Tedros. Rumors already spread that HBO wouldn’t renew it for another run, bolstered by its conclusion that came an episode early. Now, we officially know that “The Idol” is over.

“‘The Idol’ was one of HBO’s most provocative original programs, and we’re pleased by the strong audience response,” a network representative reportedly stated to The Hollywood Reporter. “After much thought and consideration, HBO, as well as the creators and producers have decided not to move forward with a second season. We’re grateful to the creators, cast, and crew for their incredible work.” While this news isn’t exactly surprising, it’s also quite sad to see this potential go to waste, regardless of whether you liked it or not.

“The Idol” Is No More

Furthermore, The Weeknd’s spoken out a lot about this negative reception to the show and defended their original vision for it, however misguided or poorly executed. “My goal was for people to feel that way when they watch it, you know, and that they’ll reassess (fame),” he told Variety in an interview. “It’s almost educational that this is what comes with being incredibly famous. You’re surrounded by people who you’re not sure what their true intentions are, even if it seems like they’re good. You just never know. I’ve been very fortunate to have people around me that I’ve known almost my entire life, which is important and is a gift.”

“I’m loving it,” the Canadian star told GQ of the divisive fan reception. “It’s definitely shaken up the culture for sure. We knew we were making something dark and controversial but true to what we want to say.” Let us know what you thought of “The Idol” and how you feel about its cancellation down in the comments below. BET Auction For $3 Billion Reportedly Called Off By Paramount

One of the most significant entertainment media sales in recent years has apparently been called off. Moreover, new reports from the New York Post indicate that Paramount is no longer selling BET, which was a prospect that bolstered Black entrepreneurs, businessmen, and entertainers to take ownership of the Black-centered network. Not only that, but the cancellation of a $3 billion auction for BET was reportedly because Tyler Perry’s offer for it was too low. Many looked to him as the creative who seemed best poised to acquire the company under his leadership. However, with this new report, it seems like its future still hangs in the balance.

Furthermore, the Post‘s article cites an allegedly close source to Paramount, who said that they notified bidders of the decision on Wednesday (August 16). “We made this decision because the benefits of maintaining a majority stake in BET Media Group creates more value for Paramount than any of the proposals we received,” the source reportedly told the publication. Another bidder in this debacle was a similarly legendary executive, Byron Allen, who also had a lot of public support.

Paramount’s Canceled Auction For BET

Regardless, the report suggest that the source painted Paramount as a conglomerate that sought a sale “which could return the asset to Black ownership.” In addition, they apparently wanted a “party that could be a good partner and responsible steward of the assets and the mission.” Apparently, JPMorgan, Paramount’s sell-side bank, failed to provide financing to suitors upon the auction’s commencement, thus placing doubt in BET Group’s strength. Also, it didn’t predict BET’s earnings during the process, which caused further concern, and the source claimed that Allen offered $3 billion for it late in the game.

Meanwhile, the Post‘s report also alleged that Paramount wanted Perry to push his offer up some more. It’s important to note that he already owns a 25% stake in BET+, the media company’s streaming service. As such, it seems like it will be a little longer until we know for sure what will happen to BET, and how hopeful owners circumvent this. For more news and the latest updates on the potential sale of BET, stay up to date on HNHH.

Chris Brown Declares That He Can’t Be Canceled, Makes Fun Of “Weirdos” Trying To Do So

Chris Brown might be the “canceled” celebrity that brings that up the most often, even if it’s mostly in a gloating manner. Moreover, the R&B singer has often addressed people criticizing his current and past behavior, either asking them to hush up or flexing his continued success on them. No matter what his attitude is, it’s clear that, for some reason, Brown wants to make that part of his career history a part of his brand and identity. Many criticisms levied against him range from the vague and occasional to the serious and systemic. Of course, a big example is his attacking of Rihanna, but other examples of alleged mistreatment, colorism, and controversial statements also came up.

Furthermore, the “Summer Too Hot” star is intent on proving the haters “wrong” by boasting the fact that he’s still an industry titan. Recently, Chris Brown took to Instagram to share a slightly cringe-inducing Instagram Story on this topic for no reason other than he simply can. “WEIRDOS: didn’t we cancel Chris Brown?” he wrote on a black background. “Me: IM STILL ALIVE.”

Chris Brown Declares Himself Un-Cancelable

After some outlets covered the post on social media, the comments split themselves into camps of defense and scolding. “Can we normalize people making mistakes and LEARNING from them?!” one user posited. “People grow and change. Is it hard to subscribe to the notion that Chris has CHANGED?! Some of you probably still hold on to being teased in Kindergarten. Seek therapy and do not project your nonsense.” However, some would argue that Chris Brown hasn’t showed that growth, in large part because of his dismissal of everything after so long. “Um does cancel mean murder now?” one commenter wrote. “I stopped listening to him years ago but I don’t care if other people want to continue to listen to his music. I’m tired of people crying about being canceled. You’re clearly not so stfu.”

Meanwhile, he continues to sell wildly expensive tickets for his shows to considerable success and acclaim. Whether this narrative will ever fade will probably be a continuous question. However, a more important one is whether the artist himself will ever move past that. Until he does, how can he expect others to do so? Still, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Chris Brown.

Moneybagg Yo Forced To Cancel Tour Dates After Low Ticket Sales

Earlier today, many fans woke up to some bad news. Emails were sent out confirming the Moneybagg Yo tour dates had been canceled, even as late as the week of the show. It’s unclear how many of his shows ended up canceled though fans on Twitter point out that Orlando and Philly dates in particular have had the plug pulled. He announced his tour back in June. The 23 performances were intended to start in August and run until September. Artists like Sexyy Red and Finesse2Tymes were billed as opening acts. It’s unclear how many, if any, of the shows will still happen.

Fans on Twitter and Instagram had different reactions to the cancelations. Some blamed Moneybagg Yo Directly, claiming he overestimated his fanbase. “because these street rappers got no substance in they music. nobody tryn see them walk back and forth in stage for an hour,” reads one of the top comments on an Instagram post. Others blame concerts being so expensive in general for the low sales. “Maybe if concert tickets weren’t so fkn expensive nowadays this wouldn’t be happening,” says one fan. “I keep telling y’all we in a recession… it ain’t the time for concerts if you ain’t Beyoncé lol,” says another.

Moneybagg Yo Cancels Planned Tour Dates

A number of high-profile rappers have been forced to cancel shows recently. After opener, The Kid LAROI pulled out of Lil Baby’s tour last month fans became suspicious. That also resulted in a number of canceled dates for the “Yes Indeed” rapper.

Lil Durk was also forced to cancel a number of performances, though for a very different reasons. Following a surprise hospitalization, he was advised by his doctors to take time to rest. As a result, he canceled a number of scheduled performances including on at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. It’s currently unclear if Moneybagg Yo plans to reschedule the shows for a later date. What do you think of Moneybagg Yo being forced to cancel shows due to low ticket sales? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lil Durk Reportedly Cancels Multiple “Sorry For The Drought” Tour Dates

Lil Durk fans might have some bad news on their hands, as the rapper reportedly canceled multiple dates for his upcoming “Sorry For The Drought” tour. Moreover, if you go to Ticketmaster as of writing this article, you will see that many of the scheduled shows apparently got axed. However, it’s unclear whether this move is purely temporary, if there will be rescheduled dates, or if this is a complete cut. Either way, it’s an incredibly unfortunate development during what must be a trying time for the Chicago native. Recently, he revealed that he went to the hospital, but in recovery, for dehydration and exhaustion.

Furthermore, Smurk shared a statement concerning his week-long stay under medical care, stressing his dedication to fans. “My fans mean everything to me,” Lil Durk expressed. “You’re the reason why I do this. I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this week(end), attending the ESPYs, and more. But after performing and traveling daily I’ve become severely dehydrated and advised by my doctors not to travel due to exhaustion. Once I get my full energy back, it’s back to business which I’m looking forward to. #StillHealing.”

Lil Durk Cuts Tour Dates: Report

Hopefully The Voice gets back on his feet soon and has the time to recover and heal properly, which is the most important thing at the end of the day. It’s hard enough for huge artists to tour, and downright impossible when it’s affecting their health. Fans’ disappointment and concern for this news is understandable, as concerts can be a big investment. Still, hopefully they focus on prioritizing Lil Durk’s well-being and not their inability to go to a show.

Meanwhile, Durk recently reflected on how he thought that cutting his hair would end his career. While it may sound ridiculous, image can actually be very important to an artist’s opportunities and appeal. Regardless, his career blossomed into one of the brightest in street rap today, and one that hopefully keeps thriving. For more news and the latest updates on Lil Durk, come back to HNHH.

The Kid LAROI Pulls Out Of Lil Baby’s Tour Amid Canceled Dates

Things just got quite turbulent for Lil Baby’s upcoming “It’s Only Us” tour- but maybe it won’t stay that way. Still, that’s an optimistic perspective, since another big change to the nationwide trek just broke on the Internet. Moreover, it seems like The Kid LAROI will no longer be accompanying the rapper on his journey across the United States. As of writing this article, the other supporting acts, namely Rylo Rodriguez, GloRilla, Gloss Up, and Hunxho, remain on board for the 24 or so dates of the concert series. Furthermore, these reports come after it was revealed that Baby dropped some cities from the tour, reportedly due to low ticket sales.

To elaborate, Lil Baby specifically canceled shows for Las Vegas, Sacramento, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Denver, and Louisville. For those who bought tickets to these shows, his team will fully refund the purchases, and some of the new dates aren’t even on sale yet (the new Philly and New York shows go live on Tuesday, July 18). Regarding The Kid LAROI, though, it’s unclear whether this contributed to his exit from the tour. He hasn’t spoken on it as of writing this article, although the Atlanta rapper posted the updated tour lineup on his Instagram page.

Lil Baby Announces New Tour Dates List Without The Kid LAROI

However, in brighter news, Lil Baby brought on none other than Teyana Taylor to co-produce and creative direct the tour. “He say ‘ITS ONLY US’ I say ‘IT’S ONLY UP’ from here!” she announced on social media. “So let’s turn s**t up a notch! Go time @lilbaby. Thank you @lilbaby & @qcmceo_p for trusting @theauntiesinc to creative direct & co-produce The #IOU tour! This one will be one for the books fasho!! Musical direction, choreography, production, visual content, wardrobe, stage presence, whew you def in good hands with one hell of a village & I can’t wait for the world to see how much fun we have with this s**t! @lilbaby @theauntiesinc @humanprsn. ‘IT’S ONLY US’ TOUR COMING TO A CITY NEAR YOU #IOU #Theaunties #Aspiketeyjoint.”

Meanwhile, it’s no doubting the fact that the 28-year-old has the fanbase to pack some stellar shows. It’s unclear whether this was a result of overestimated performance or some other logistical issue. Nevertheless, at least it’s not all bad news concerning the “It’s Only Us” tour. Fat Joe Credits DaBaby For His Comeback After Being “Canceled”

After DaBaby made homophobic remarks back in 2021 at Rolling Loud Miami, the backlash that followed made many believe his career was over. However, despite there still being a conversation around whether it’s warranted, the Charlotte rapper has sustained a career in hip-hop since. No matter what side you fall on of that debate, it’s clear that a lot has changed in the years that followed for him, whether from a personal or career standpoint. In addition, his efforts to revitalize himself and get back into the game have gotten a lot of props and praise from fellow industry figures. The latest to tip his hat is Fat Joe, who commended him for working hard and moving past that dark chapter in his life.

“As far as I’m concerned, DaBaby uncanceled himself,” Fat Joe remarked. “The guy’s a beast. DaBaby the rapper is unbelievable. I’ve seen him fighting back and he went from being the biggest in the world to getting canceled to fighting. You know, still making money and all that, but I’ve seen him on the grind. Every time I’ve seen him, I’ve said ‘Yo, stay strong. Stay focused, stay this.’ ‘Cause I think DaBaby and them are the new Terror Squad.

“The man wouldn’t stop working, wouldn’t give up,” Fat Joe continued. “A lot of people give up. When you got the whole media, everybody going against you, most people are not built for the war. I’m explaining to you guys, DaBaby is ready for war! And he is battle-tested, and he smelled this money, he said ‘No, no, no.’ And then through being positive and fighting and going all out for himself, he punched a hole through the atmosphere. And now he’s poppin’! He is uncanceled!”

You might disagree on the musical or personal front, since many think his artistry fell off. Still, given the “BOP” MC’s new music this year, perhaps there is still more massive success left in his career. Regardless, surely this debate won’t die down anytime soon. Jazmine Sullivan Set Canceled At Leimert Park Juneteenth Festival After Stampedes

Many in Los Angeles were excited to see Jazmine Sullivan and other performers like Wale and Too $hort for the Leimert Park Juneteenth Festival hosted by Amazon Music Live. However, when it came to the R&B star’s set in particular, something happened that made them cancel it. It’s unclear what it was at the moment, as this is a developing story. Still, testimonies on social media indicate that multiple crowd stampedes caused disruption at the festival and prompted either Jazmine, her team, or organizers to call things off. Some were unaware of what happened while attending, while others said that a shooting went down.

In addition, many who were watching the performances via livestream expressed confusion online, as Amazon Music apparently simply said that the event was over. Of course, given the early nature of this news and reports, take these with a grain of salt as more information emerges. Regardless, fan testimonies are particularly scary to hear, as it seemed like a potentially dangerous development in what was otherwise a beautiful and joyous celebration. Fans of the acclaimed singer who weren’t present gave their complaints, but the focus quickly shifted to people on the ground.

Jazmine Sullivan’s Message To Fans After Show Cancellation

Jazmine Sullivan Leimert Park Juneteenth

In fact, Jazmine Sullivan herself came through with a message for fans on her Instagram Story. “I hope everyone made it home to their loved ones tonight!” the 36-year-old Heaux Tales star wrote. “I’m so disappointed we couldn’t come together and celebrate Juneteenth! If you’re still at the park please leave. The show is cancelled,” she concluded with a crying emoji. While she didn’t hint at the reason behind the cancellation, the fact she expressed hope that everyone got home safe confirms what fans are saying online.

On that note, some fans gave testimonies of there being a shooting that caused these stampedes, while other news outlets don’t mention it. In fact, others online are calling it misinformation and stating that there was poor crowd control and two shoving incidents. No matter what happened, hopefully everyone made it home safe.
