BLP KOSHER Embraces His Idiosyncrasies On Sophomore Album “Scarecrow”

A lot of people may be quick to dismiss Jewish rapper BLP KOSHER. His dribbling flows and sometimes overly absurd bars might turn off the traditional hip-hop fan. However, we highly encourage you to look past that because the Broward County, Florida native has a lot to offer artistically. The aforementioned qualities are two of the aspects we enjoy in addition to his versatility and beat selection. In February of this year, the 24-year-old rapper and singer began his rollout for previously untitled album. It would be through some vague promotion on social media, and it would not be until March 15 that fans got the lead offering, “Skidoo”. Then, on June 28, “Same Hat” would follow. Still, with little build-up, Scarecrow has been extremely worth the wait as BLP KOSHER is arguably at his best and most diverse.

If you caught “Violent Lullaby” in December of last year, that was just a sliver of what KOSHER can throw at his listeners. His vocal chops on that song, as well as several others on Scarecrow (“Shadow Maze” “Cobwebs”), show that they are unrefined a bit. However, they are not so off-putting that you to immediately skip the track. It goes to show that he is continuing to push himself outside of his comfort zone and be open to criticisms. Speaking of which, that is a main focus of this Bars Mitzvah follow-up. In a statement he mentions how he is embracing his oddities, and he encourages his fans to do the same.

“A collection of intrusive thoughts, life situations and messages combined. This is where weird works so please embrace your imperfections and insecurities and learn to love your inner scarecrow. They will pass right by you, laugh at you, and even fear you, but you are a star”. It is an extremely heartwarming and positive sign for hip-hop that we have artists like BLP KOSHER going and it is part of the reason why Scarecrow works so well.

BLP KOSHER Is As Menacing As He Is Mischievous On New Single “Skidoo”: Stream

When it comes to fast and hard-hitting beats paired with funny and rewind-worthy bars, very few are doing it quite like BLP KOSHER right now. He’s made a great name for himself as a clever and creative lyricist who pairs his cheeky references and sense of humor with a gritty and grounded approach to trap music. The 23-year-old’s most recent effort, “Kold Shoulder” with Lil Crix, came out just last week, and he’s clearly not slowing down at all with his prolific schedule. Moreover, he’s back with “Skidoo,” another banger with a rapid percussion pattern, simple low piano melodies paired with high-note embellishments, and occasionally shifting flows to match his rhymes. It’s definitely a tried and true formula at this point, but this is such a comparatively young career that it’s still fresh and engaging.

Of course, if this is the first time you’ve heard of BLP KOSHER, you’ll quickly get an idea of why that formula got so popular and acclaimed. For example, the “Virgin Ears” rapper is very proud of his Jewish heritage, and his references to that identity make up some of the wittier and more triumphant lyrics here. Another element to his pen is the wordplay itself, which goes beyond the reference points to perk up the ear of any listener interested in language and puns. But it’s clear that the Florida native wants to take his sound to other worlds, too, as he collaborated with Yung Lean on the track “Violent Lullaby.”

Lil Crix & BLP KOSHER Are Giving Haters The “Kold Shoulder” On New Single

It is unfortunate that Lil Crix is still dealing with some legal issues. “Kold Shoulder” continues to flash his talent, so hopefully, he will be a free man soon. The Lauderhill, Florida MC you might notice shares a lot in common with another rapper from the area. If you guessed Kodak Black, then you would be correct.

He shares a fairly similar mumbly flow, albeit a little more low-key then Black’s. The reason we make that comparison is because Lil Crix is signed to the trap veteran’s label. As we said though, Crix is locked up so its harder for them to bond and learn from his label head. He was raided by the feds moments after a charity event that saw him donate $30,000 and there has not been much on that since August.

But, Lil Crix is still trying to keep the buzz up with this new single “Kold Shoulder.” it features the eccentric Broward County star BLP KOSHER and it is an aggressive and enjoyable track. Fans are messing with it, and they hope Black will sign BLP to his label. “If crix keeps droppin he gonna be huge. And yak needs to sign BLP kosher,” on person comments. If that happens, we have some potential heat on the way.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Kold Shoulder,” by Lil Crix and BLP KOSHER? Is this one of Crix’s better tracks, why or why not? Who had the best performance on the track? Do you think we will get an album from him soon? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. BLP KOSHER Is Back With The Wild One-Liners On “Virgin Ears”

While BLP KOSHER might turn people off on the surface, we encourage you to give him a chance. The Broward County, Florida rapper has been blowing up over the past several months or so. The reason for that is fairly clear; this guy is a pure entertainer. KOSHER’s personality is colorful and downright hilarious. He possesses the ability to make the oddest similies make sense somehow better than most rappers today. This is why we are happy to talk about his newest single “Virgin Ears.”

This is the second single from his next endeavor called Scarecrow. That is the rumored title for BLP KOSHER’s third tape. It would follow up his 2023 breakout release Bars Mitzvah which features songs like “Special K” and “The Nac 3.” Just a little while back we covered his first single of 2024 “Dreidel Bop.”

Listen To “Virgin Ears” By BLP KOSHER

“Virgin Ears” is another trap-flavored banger with resonant piano keys and heavy kick drums. While the beat is not anything out of his wheelhouse, the bars are again the main draw. The chorus has some particularly interesting references to Disney shows and candy. BLP’s verses are also packed with some creative lines. “I’m at your Adam’s apple, you were talking to the snake / Them boys sweet, they talk to pigs, that cracka Honey Baked Ham / I’m screaming “Beautiful morning,” but no Father, Don’t Stretch My Hands.”

What were your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Virgin Ears,” by BLP KOSHER? Is this the best track from the upcoming album, Scarecrow, why or why not? Will this turn out to be his strongest LP? I read the Ten Commandments every Sabbath, thou shalt not covet

BLP KOSHER Starts Off The New Year With A “Dreidel Bop”

During our Advent Calendar for the Christmas season, we came out with a listicle about five artists you should be paying closer attention to. We went with artists that have some semblance of a fan base but have not fully blown up. One of those artists we included was BLP KOSHER. The Jewish rapper hailing from Broward County, Florida began to come on strong in the latter half of 2023.

Bars Mitzvah, his second project, dropped back in early August and it became a sensation. Tracks like “Special K,” “The Nac 3,” “Wicked Miracle,” and more were some prime examples of the hits he had on it. Then, a couple of months later, he and the cloud rap icon from Sweden, Yung Lean, got together for “Violent Lullaby.”

It saw him take a more melodic approach, something that KOSHER is not accustomed to doing. It left a lasting impression on us heading into this year and it is a reason why we think he is ready to take the next step. He is starting off 2024 with the lead single to his rumored next album, Scarecrow. “Dreidel Bop” sticks to the current formula that got fans engaged in his previous works. The song is not reinventing the wheel, but it does its job as a solid banger.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single, “Dreidel Bop,” by BLP KOSHER? Do you agree with us that he is going to be someone who blows up in 2024? What was your favorite song of his in 2023 and why? Will his upcoming album be his best one to date? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. G6reddot And BLP KOSHER Rep Florida Proudly On “SKRR SKRR”

BLP KOSHER has been commanding a lot of people’s attention this year in particular. The Broward County native has been dropping singles to streaming platforms since 2021. However, the Florida rapper has been creating a lot of buzz around him due to the unique material he has been showcasing this time around. The 23-year-old is not for everyone, though. His style is very idiosyncratic in that he likes to make quick one-liners that have a tongue-in-cheek tone to them. Additionally, his physical appearance and how he presents himself may be quite controversial as well. But, we urge you to not judge a book by its cover.

Then, we take a look at G6reddot. He is also from Southern Florida. Like, KOSHER, G6 is just starting to find his niche in the ultra-competitive rap scene. The youngster does not have an album out yet, mostly because he has only been in the game since early March of this year. But, these two are looking to firmly position themselves as stars of the Sunshine State.

BLP Kosher And Yung Lean Compliment Each Other Well On “Violent Lullaby”

One of the most comical rappers that is on the rise right now is BLP Kosher. The Boca Raton, Florida native has been making waves this year for his unique comedy and gut-busting bars. His approach to music shares some distant similarities with Lil Dicky and Yung Gravy. But, Kosher manages to stand out from the crowd.

While we all know music is subjective, it still might be hard to find a lot of people who can get down with his style. However, if you want an easier introduction to the mind of Kosher, this new single might do the trick. Following up on his 2023 project, Bars Mitzvah, he grabs, quite frankly, an unexpected feature. He recruits cloud rap legend, Yung Lean.
