Ashanti Celebrates Her 44th Birthday With Nelly By Her Side

Ashanti seemed to be having a blast in videos of her 44th birthday celebration over the weekend. In videos on social media from her night out over the weekend, she rocks a pink dress with Nelly by her side. The two appeared to go out for dinner and drinks.

When Live Bitez shared the video on Instagram, fans in the comments section showed plenty of love to the couple. “She’s just always a big ball of happy energy. Always smiling and always youthful,” one fan wrote. Another added: “Nelly don’t know what to do when the camera going around them! Ashanti understood the assignment.”

Ashanti and Nelly married last December and recently welcomed their first child together. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, she reflected on the experience of childbirth. “He actually came a little early,” Ashanti said. “[His] dad had to fly in last minute which was awesome. Just all of these emotions happening at one time, just knowing that this is your person, this is your purpose, this is what it’s supposed to be. And the three of us together, we were all able to hold each other. It was incredible to watch just how confident and gentle and how soothing he is with his son. It was just an amazing, incredible feeling. It’s just an immense feeling.”

Drake Labels Adonis The “Baby Goat” In Touching Birthday Tribute

Drake shared a series of pictures of his son, Adonis, on Instagram on Monday morning in celebration of his seventh birthday. The pictures show him posing with friends, playing soccer, and more. “Baby goat you are different,” Drake captioned the pictures. The post comes after he shared a video of himself playing basketball with his son on his Instagram Story. He wrote in that post: “BIG ADI DAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY KID 7 YEARS OLD PROB SOME OF MY LAST VIDEOS GETTING ANY BUCKETS.”

In response to the new pictures, fans have been showing Drake and Adonis plenty of love. “Handsome like his daddy. Happy birthday angel boy,” one user commented on the post. Referencing the soccer pictures, another fan wrote: “Slide 8 is fire looking like a pro striker.”

Outside of his personal life, Drake’s been in the midst of an up-and-down year as far as his music career is concerned. He’s been feuding with numerous artists in hip-hop, most notably of whom is Kendrick Lamar. Appearing at Tyrone Edwards’ Nostalgia Party in Toronto, earlier this month, he gave a speech about dealing with betrayal. “Let me tell you that you’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were friends, people you thought were close to you switch up,” he began. “They might try to move funny with you, they might stab you in the back. They might do a lot of things to you. You’ll come to that realization, wherever you’re at in life. You’ve probably been there and you’ll be there again. That’s how life is. Sometimes it’s you and you alone by yourself.”

Cardi B recently had a wild birthday party for her 32nd, and she wanted to share some curious insight into her look and mood for the night. “So let me tell ya about my little thotty dress..” she captioned an Instagram post showing her and the night off. “the dress I was gonna wear for my birthday was a little too small and there wasn’t enough fabric… so I got my a** in a truck and went to Staten dolls gentlemen’s club where I worked at for four years and bought this little dress because baby NOTHING was gonna stop this night… I love the fact that they don’t see me like CARDI B.. they still treat me like CAMILLA (Fun fact.. that was my stripper name [crying-laughing emojis]).”

While some fans just thirsted for Cardi B or congratulated her on her birthday, others were very curious to finally learn what her stage name as a stripper was. “Whether or not they were poor choices at the time, I did what I had to do to survive,” Cardi B stated back when that controversy first sprung in 2019. “I never claimed to be perfect or come from a perfect world.” Now, she’s very much past that, choosing to eschew the negativity and struggle for a beautiful family and a superstar career.

However, that family is now at risk. Cardi B’s nasty divorce from Offset continues to serve as a hot topic of discussion and debate online. Cardi B Throws Wild Birthday Bash In NYC Amid Offset Drama

Cardi B has been through a lot in recent months. In September, the “Enough” rapper gave birth to her third child, shortly after filing for divorce from Offset. The two of them went on to get into a public spat, and Offset accused her of sleeping with someone else during her pregnancy. Fans then began to speculate that she was romantically involved with Stefon Diggs, and while this is unconfirmed, she called the rumor “cute.”

Luckily, it looks like Cardi was able to get her mind off of things in time for her birthday. Last night, she hosted a private party in Manhattan dubbed “Bardi in the City.” She was joined by her sister Hennessy, plenty of actual Hennessy, and several friends. Unsurprisingly, Offset was not in attendance.

In footage from the evening obtained by TMZ, Cardi is seen passing out shots, throwing it back, and more. Clearly, she had the time of her life and didn’t let any of the drama surrounding her split get her down. Turning up in NYC isn’t all Cardi did for her birthday, however. The performer also enjoyed a stay at a luxury Airbnb in Paris, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Reportedly, it cost a staggering $50K per night. She shared a fun recap of her visit on Instagram last week, which showed her living it up during Fashion Week.

Cardi also took to Instagram yesterday to share some sweet photos featuring her children, alongside a heartfelt message to her fans. “I can’t say thank you enough to all my social media besties and cousins! All the love you sent me and all the posts you made to celebrate me could never go unnoticed! You all are truly one in a million!” she wrote. Happy 32nd birthday to Cardi B, who’s celebrating herself today (Friday, October 11). However, she started early with the festivities, as we now know where she stayed for her travels for Paris Fashion Week as a pre-special day treat to herself. Moreover, according to alleged sources who reportedly spoke to TMZ, the Bronx femcee stayed at a penthouse Airbnb overlooking the Eiffel Tower that cost a whopping $50,000 a night. As you might imagine, the property isn’t available for public booking, instead saving itself for high-end clients such as Cardi. She even thanked Airbnb for the stay in an Instagram recap from her trip, after which she returned to the United States.

Of course, a lot of folks expressed particular interest in what Cardi B has been up to these days thanks to the messy divorce between her and Offset. Ironically enough, this came after she already shut down rumors that she romantically engaged with Stefon Diggs. “The Internet is insane,” the now-32-year-old expressed on Instagram Live. “All these rumors are so f***ing crazy. That’s why I don’t want to address it because I feel like it’s funny. I’ma just let it ride out, ’cause I think it’s cute, it’s funny.”

As for Cardi B and Offset, they actually went to the same club in New York the other night, which brought about a lot of theories and also criticism. Even though this isn’t the first time that they faced issues in their marriage, it feels like it’s for good this time around. Simmons actually apologized for the whole thing, whereas Gotti seemed to condone it with this message, albeit jokingly. Regardless of how you read it, it’s clear that they have a very different way of going about things.

In other news, Yo Gotti previously explained this year how Jay-Z was the one who inspired his business education. “I may want to buy a company or acquire another company,” he told Forbes. “So I’m making sure I’m super tight and understand the language and the verbiage myself other than listening to financial experts.
