Jeezy’s Entire Mixtape Discography Now On Streaming Services

Jeezy turned 46 on Thursday (September 28), and it turns out that the celebration involved him giving us gifts, and not the other way around. Moreover, after his decades in the game and legendary tape runs, his full mixtape catalog became available on all major streaming services. This means that all of the trap rap icon’s 13 mixtapes, from his Gangsta Grillz collaborations and beyond, are now on services like TIDAL, Apple Music, Spotify, and more. For the most part, this is the first time that platforms like these have ever hosted this material.

If you’re unfamiliar with the now-46-year-old’s work, this section of his discog includes The Real Is Back 1 and 2, The Prime Minister, 1000 Grams, Trappin’ Ain’t Dead, and many more. Furthermore, Jeezy took to Instagram to commemorate the occasion. “It’s a real one’s birthday!” the Atlanta MC expressed on the social media platform. “I appreciate all the G-Day love and I have a gift for my day ones. 13 classics available now on all streaming platforms for the first time ever! Today we celebrate!”

Of course, if you’re well-versed in The Snowman’s artistry, you know how significant and important this is to his longevity as an artist in the contemporary age. After all, Jeezy rose to stardom off of the strength of these mixtapes, which he continued to expand upon through his excellent studio album work, too. Regardless of how you look at it, this is a win-win in an age during which he doesn’t get enough flowers from the younger generation. Die-hard listeners can now access the Columbia, South Carolina-born’s entire discography conveniently, and less aware hip-hop fans now have a slew of new material to understand his dominance.

Nas Uses “Fever” Music Video To Commemorate His 50th Birthday Party

When Nas raises a glass of champagne these days, there are so many things he could be celebrating. For one, he just finalized his collaborative double trilogy series with Hit-Boy with the release of Magic 3, bringing their legendary run to a triumphant close. Also, there’s the Queens MC’s 50th birthday, which fittingly and almost perfectly coincides with the 50th anniversary of the birth of hip-hop. For his latest music video, he combined all of these elements together to make an extravagant and joyous tribute. The track “Fever” was a perfect fit for this, both as Magic 3‘s opening cut and one of its most effective homages to the game and to the Queens legend’s life.

Specifically, the visual covers his 50th birthday party in New York, which held so many stars within and outside of the genre. Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Raekwon, Slick Rick, DJ Premier, Hit-Boy, Fat Joe, Black Thought, and even Robert DeNiro pop up as cameos in the video, along with many others. They all attended Nas’ huge party, and other names like Kendrick Lamar also stopped by to pay their respects and congratulations. For one of the greatest MCs to ever live, we can expect nothing less luxurious, victorious, and special.

In addition, if you didn’t already think “Fever” was a lavish and evocative song, its music video will certainly convince you. For example, the sampled strings in the instrumental pair perfectly with images of fancy dishes, tuxedos, and expensive bottles of liquor and spirits. When you hear the “Represent” callback to one of Nas’ classic hits and see Preemo on the screen, you can’t help but feel goosebumps. All in all, it made for something that almost feels like a send-off, but we know that the Mass Appeal head honcho will always have gas in the tank.

Meanwhile, Magic 3 finished off what might become one of the best runs and collabs in the 2020s decade. It’s something that producer Hit-Boy dreamt of ten years before they linked up, and the fruits of their labor were golden. In the post, she described sharing a family with the legendary actor as the “greatest joy” of her life. The message captioned a photo of herself and Will with their kids. Jada and Will have been married for over 25 years.

Ari Fletcher’s Moneybagg Yo Love On Full Display In Birthday Message, Gets New Ring From Rapper

Ari Fletcher went above and beyond while celebrating the birthday of her partner, Moneybagg Yo. “Happy birthday to a gangsta! I’m thankful for this day because God placed a real one on this earth. Through all the ups and downs I’d do it all over again with you 10x’s. Love you for life and after! It’s whatever for you and about you! ,” Fletcher wrote on Instagram. “Love u too Lady loaf,” Moneybagg wrote in the comments. The post contained a bevy of images of the two of them enjoying their vacation in various ways.

One of the pictures included Fletcher’s gift to Moneybagg – an expensive pendant encrusted with diamonds and bearing the embossed message “IDAF Boyz” on in it. Moneybagg also posted images of bags of cash and an expensive-looking new watch as other gifts he received. Going by the pictures, it appears that the happy couple spent Moneybagg’s birthday on a boat with some friends. Moneybagg and Fletcher replicated the spaghetti-eating scene from Lady and the Tramp.

However, Moneybagg is not the only person getting gifts, despite it being his birthday. “My man got me another pink Diamond ring. It’s very heart-warming that Moneybagg wanted to give Fletcher something despite it being his birthday.

Despite this, Fletcher also had to deal with some hate over it. “You don’t have to have a wedding to be married, slow bitch. Happy birthday to Moneybagg Yo, who partly spent his special day on Friday (September 22) counting up hundreds, twenties, and gold bars. Moreover, the Bread Gang boss is always doing right by that label’s name online, and we’d expect nothing less luxurious for his 32nd. In a video uploaded to his social media, he goes through bags upon bags filled with dollar bills, and even invites viewers to get into collecting gold bars. Apparently, the Memphis MC believes they’re better than real estate, and they’re certainly more flashy. Maybe later in the day, we’ll see how he decided to spend these racks for the occasion.

However, this is a bit of an ironic flex considering a sticky situation Moneybagg Yo found himself in back in August. Many people started to claim that he was throwing out fake money at shows, either clowning him for the corniness or expressing genuine frustration at the falsehood. In his response to all of this, the Hard To Love hitmaker might’ve just confused fans about the ordeal even more. Still, the message came through quite clearly: don’t believe for a second that he isn’t about his bag.

Happy birthday to Nas, whose star-studded 50th birthday bash’s guest list speaks to his legendary career outreach. Many hip-hop icons reunited to celebrate the Queens icon, and new footage from the event shows some of them off. Among many others, Esco hosted Fat Joe, Mary J. Blige, Slick Rick, Diddy, N.O.R.E., and mainstays like his close collaborator Hit-Boy. Of course, the duo wasn’t just celebrating Nasir Jones’ special day, but also the release of their sixth and final collaborative project, Magic 3. With all this in mind, it was a ceremonious occasion no matter who you were or what your relationship to the game is.

In fact, celebrations like these are a heartening display of the unity that the older guard of rap displays these days. For example, Nas kicked it with Diddy, who also released an album of his own this week that’s directly competing with Magic 3. In addition, many of these figures were involved, whether directly or otherwise, in feuds and scuffles throughout their careers. It’s amazing to see them come together after all these years, with pioneers like Slick Rick and the legends that emerged after the “Represent” MC.

Beyonce Rents Out Private Island Villa For Her Birthday

Beyonce celebrated her birthday earlier this month. On the day itself, she had a very public celebration playing one of the biggest and best shows on her Renaissance tour yet. The fans gave her a gift in the form of absolutely nailing her viral “ENERGY” challenge with the entire stadium going silent at just the right moment. She also secured an extremely rare on-stage appearance from Diana Ross who joined Bey to sing her happy birthday. Ross later explained that she was just paying her back for Bey singing happy birthday to her for her 75th a few years ago.

But Beyonce also had a private birthday celebration and it was VERY private. We got a tease of the event on social media when she shared some pics of her and Jay-Z celebrating her big day and an ultra-rare photo with both her parents. Now TMZ have more details on her B-day celebration. Their sources say that she rented out the entirety of a place called Mermaid Bay, a private island in French Polynesia. The vacation immediately followed her birthday night performance and saw the couple, their family, and a large group of others staying until at least September 8.

Keeping up with every Beyonce news story is a lot of work. That’s probably why earlier this week USA Today made a job listing for a reporter to specifically cover the singer. The role sought someone to cover every aspect of Bey’s career, economic and cultural impact, and fan base.

B.G. honored Soulja Slim on social media, Saturday, celebrating what would’ve been his 46th birthday. In doing so, he shared a throwback video that features Slim’s mom as well as himself rapping alongside the late rapper and sharing some laughs.
