Drake Kids: Does The Rap Megastar Have Any?

As one of the biggest pop superstars in the modern world, Drake has made no secret of his many sexual exploits. The “First Person Shooter” rapper has stated numerous times in his lyrics that he enjoys casual hookups with great frequency. This musical content has led many fans to wonder if Drake has numerous kids as a result of his lifestyle. As far as the public knows, Drake is the father of only one child named Adonis Graham. Adonis’s existence was revealed to the public during a 2018 rap beef, which saw Drake verbally sparring with rap legend Pusha T. Since then, Drake’s kid has gone on to share the spotlight with his famous dad and even release his music.

Adonis Was Born In October 2017

Drake’s one and only kid was born to former pornography star Sophie Brussaux in 2017. When first confronted with the reality of fatherhood, Drake allegedly denied paternity claims over Adonis before ultimately coming to terms with his new role as a dad. The specific details of Drake’s acceptance of his son are quite murky. According to some fans and insiders, it seemed like Drake was a deadbeat dad until Pusha T revealed his son to the world. Others have argued that Drake was present in Adonis’s life before the rap feud.

Drake defended himself against claims that he had been absent in his kid’s life on the 2018 track “Emotionless.” In the song, Drake elucidates, “Look at the way we live. I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid.” Drake also claims that he planned to reveal Adonis to the world as part of a partnership with Adidas back in 2018, though Pusha T ultimately spoiled the surprise.

Pusha T Name-Dropped Adonis On Wax

In May 2018, Pusha T released the earth-shattering diss record “The Story Of Adidon.” The track, which makes use of the instrumental from Jay-Z’s “The Story Of OJ,” is a direct response to Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle,” which name-dropped Pusha T’s at-the-time fiancée. “The Story Of Adidon” revealed a wide array of explosive secrets, though the biggest saw Push referring to Drake as a deadbeat dad, and revealing the identity of Adonis and his mother.

On the track, Pusha T raps, “A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap / We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts / You are hiding a child, let that boy come home / Deadbeat mothaf***er playin’ border patrol / Adonis is your son, and he deserves more than an Adidas press run.” Drake never formally responded to this track, though he has gone on to publicly acknowledge his kid’s existence since “The Story Of Adidon” dropped.

Adonis Has His Own Song Now

Regardless of Drake’s previous alleged experience with his son, he is now a loving father, frequently seen co-parenting in Sophie Brussaux’s social media posts. Sophie has referred to Drake as an amazing father over the years. Adonis has been seen tagging along with the rap superstar at sporting events, music video shoots, and other public outings. In 2023, Adonis took a hands-on role with his father’s music, drawing the cover art for Drake’s For All The Dogs album.

Additionally, Adonis has released his own song, titled “My Man Freestyle,” which showcases the six-year-old boy rapping a stream of consciousness about sports, his dad, and accidentally breaking his iPad. The music video for “My Man Freestyle” prominently features Drake, standing by as a proud dad while his son plays youth basketball with a gang of friends.

Drake’s Son Adonis Brings The Family Together For 6th Birthday

Adonis appears to have celebrated his 6th birthday in the 6. Drake’s son rang in another year with his family in Toronto, Canada with his family including his mother Sophie Brusseaux, and his father, Drake. A family photo surfaced online following the celebration that shows Adonis in between his parents, as well as Sandi Graham and presumably, Sophie’s parents. Drake shared the photo to his Instagram Story, captioning the post, “Big 6’errrrrer.”

This comes after Sophie Brusseaux posted an adorable tribute to Adonis on her Instagram page. Although Drake kept the Instagram message simply, Sophie shared a more elaborate caption. The post includes three photos from when Adonis was a baby to now. “Joyeux anniversaire mon humain préféré, que j’ai co-créé il y a 6 ans déjà…que dieu te bénisse mon fils,” she wrote, which translates to, “Happy birthday to my favorite human that I co-created 6 years ago already.. god bless you my son.”

Drake’s Son Celebrates His 6th Birthday

Adonis has already had quite an eventful week leading up to his 6th birthday. Ahead of the release of Drake’s latest studio album, For All The Dogs, Adonis starred in the music video for “8 AM In Charlotte.” The 6-year-old not only stood by his father’s side acting as a hypeman but he also explained the artwork he created for the album. The adorable moment ends with Drake asking Adonis how much he got paid for his art, to which his son replies, “Oh, please.”

Besides actually appearing in the music video, Adonis also showcased some bars on Drake’s “Daylight” off of For All The Dogs. His surprise feature came right at the end of the record and has already turned into one of the best moments of the project where he raps, “Don’t talk to my man like that/ I like it when you like it.” Check out the photo from Drake’s birthday bash for Adonis above and sound off with your thoughts on Adonis’ appearance on For All The Dogs below.

Adonis Graham’s Birthday Is Here: Sophie Brussaux Celebrates Her & Drake’s Son’s 6th Year

Watching your favourite celebrities get older can be a trip, but when they start having kids, the passage of time seems to fly by faster. Today (October 11) marks six years since Drake’s only child, Adonis Graham, was born. Of course, the Scorpion rapper was initially in denial about his paternity, though he’s since changed his tune in favour of being as present in the young boy’s life as possible. Not only did Adonis design the cover art for his father’s For All The Dogs album, but it also made his rap debut on “Daylight.”

Early this morning, his mom, Sophie Brussaux, shared throwback photos on Instagram commerating the special day. In the first picture from her dump, a baby Adonis sits on a table covered in green and brown paint, proving that he’s been tapping into his artistic side from a very early age. “Happy Birthday to my favourite human that I co-created six years ago already,” the former adult actress wrote in the caption. “God bless you my son ♥.”

Adonis Graham is All Grown Up

Seeing as the young boy has one of the world’s best-known rappers raising him, it’s safe to say he’ll be more than blessed for the rest of his days. He recently started grade one, and in his spare time, Graham has been learning a thing or two about painting from his talented mother. It’s unclear if he favours music or creating with his hands more, but time will surely tell what opportunities the birthday boy’s future holds.

It’s not likely we’ll see Adonis Graham’s parents going on date nights or walking down the aisle anytime soon, but still, the friendship they’ve formed while raising their son is commendable. Earlier this year, Drake shared a stunning portrait of Sophie and their son to celebrate her on Mother’s Day. See that for yourself at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Sophie Brussaux’s Drake Tattoo Proves How Far Adonis’ Co-Parents Have Come

Like many rappers before him, when Drake first found out he had a child on the way, he was in full denial. Seeing as his son, Adonis Graham, has bright blue eyes and curly blonde hair, it’s not entirely unreasonable for the Canadian to have had some doubts. Still, he and his baby mama, Sophie Brussaux, certainly weren’t seeing eye-to-eye at the time. Rather than letting the drama build-up, however, both Drake and his co-parent have taken considerable strides in mending their relationship so that they can healthily raise Adonis together.

Since the summer, the Scorpion rapper has been out on his It’s All a Blur tour, which wrapped up in Toronto this past weekend. While Drizzy was entertaining tens of thousands in his hometown, Brussaux and her little boy were cheering him on from the stands. In a photo dump shared on the former adult actress’ Instagram page a few days ago, she’s even seen rocking a tattoo of Adonis’ dad’s face on her forearm. “Proud family moments,” Sophie wrote in her caption.

Sophie Brussaux is a Supportive Baby Mama

Immediately, social media users flocked to the comments to speculate about whether Brussaux’s ink is real or not. As XXL notes, the artist tagged Inkbox, a temporary tattoo company, in the post, so it seems she was only willing to flaunt her baby daddy’s portrait on her skin for a few weeks at most. Nevertheless, there are still some who would like to see Brussaux and Drake come together as an authentic family unit, especially because of her beauty.

Adonis Graham is the son of two wildly creative parents, so it makes sense that he also has artistic abilities to show off. We heard the young boy make his rapping debut on For All The Dogs, and it’s likely he’ll only continue to make appearances on his father’s songs in the future. A few weeks before the album arrived, Sophie Brussaux and Drake’s only child hit another major milestone – beginning grade one. Check out the adorable photos from that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Drake’s Son Adonis’ Mother, Sophie Brussaux, Supports Him At Toronto Show

The mother of Drake’s 5-year-old son Adonis, Sophie Brussaux, came out to support the performer at one of his recent shows. The hitmaker is at the tail end of his It’s All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage. He was joined by the UK-born rapper for the first time outside of the U.S. since the tour started, as he just recently got his green card. It was also Drake’s first show since dropping off his eagerly-anticipated new album, For All The Dogs.

Clearly, the show was a big deal for Drake, and Brussaux was sure to be in attendance to cheer him on. The Toronto-based artist shared some shots from the evening on social media, alongside a sweet caption. One of her posts features an adorable photo of their son lit up on various screens at Scotiabank Arena. “Love you [heart emoji] @champagnepapi,” she captioned it.

Sophie Brussaux Stops By Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour

In other photos, the French mother of one is seen rocking a temporary tattoo of the hitmaker on her arm. Clearly, she couldn’t be prouder of the father of her son amid his countless successes. Drake wasn’t the only person Brussaux got to celebrate last night, however. Their toddler also makes an appearance on the album, rapping on the track “Daylight.” On top of making his rap debut, the young boy is also the mind behind the cover art for the project, and stars alongside his father in the music video for “8AM In Charlotte.”

Adonis says the creature on the album cover is a “daddy goat” that he feels represents his own dad. What do you think of Sophie Brussaux stopping by Drake’s It’s All A Blur tour to show him some love? How are you liking his new album For All The Dogs so far? Drake’s Baby Mama Sophie Brussaux Looks Beautiful Holding Adonis In Rapper’s Mother’s Day Post

Yesterday (May 14), nearly every social media post we saw from our favourites was dedicated to Mother’s Day. From parents like Cardi B and Ari Fletcher being spoiled by their little ones, to various rappers shouting out their own family matriarch and co-parents. Among the latter category was Drake. He had plenty of love to show not only to his mother, Sandra Graham but also to his baby mama, Sophie Brussaux.

Drizzy and the French artist were previously off to a tough start following the birth of their son, Adonis. Of course, the “God’s Plan” hitmaker initially denied paternity. He’s claimed that the young boy’s blonde hair, fair complexion, and bright blue eyes made it seem impossible to him that Drake could possibly have a child. The paternity test obviously didn’t lie, though, as he’s had his son frequently by his side ever since. After taking some time to heal, he and Brussaux have also been able to forgive and forget their past. They’ve since formed a strong bond as they continue to raise Adonis together.

Drake Celebrates Sophie Brussaux on Mother’s Day

@champagnepapi/Instagram Story

She was seen turning up at one of his concerts a few weeks back. Now, the bilingual artist made an appearance on Champagne Papi’s IG Story for Mother’s Day, looking radiant on a boat ride with her little boy. The lyricist didn’t include a caption to go along with the striking image of her and Adonis. Still, the message of love for his family he was trying to get across clearly came through.

Aside from the tribute to Brussaux for baring his first-born son, Drake also took the opportunity to praise his own mother. The Canadian artist was famously raised by a single Sandra Graham in Toronto, later spending summers with his father, Dennis, in Memphis, Tennessee. He’s always been open about his immense love for the woman who brought him up, frequently mentioning her in his music and beyond.
