Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance Tour’ Dancers: Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Beyoncé’s massive Renaissance Tour is currently making its way across Europe, and fans are loving it. Between her dressing up as an actual bee to riding around on a tank, she pulled out all the stops on this one once again. The shows also wouldn’t be anything without the backup dancers, who have been with her through the rehearsal process and beyond.

Yesterday, the full credits for the tour were revealed — giving even more insight into who’s on her crew.

Here is everything to know about Beyoncé’s dancers during this tour.

Who Are Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers?

Les Twins, also known as twin brothers Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois, returned to join another Beyoncé tour. The two appeared during the “7/11” interlude, starting at her opening night in Stockholm. They also returned to dance with her to “Thique.”

Honey Balenciaga has been another popular favorite of the tour dancers. She notably appears during the Ballroom segment, as well as some additional musical numbers. On Beyoncé’s website, she is credited as part of The Dolls, alongside Carlos Irizarry, Darius Hickman, and Jonté Moaning.

Another notable credit is the Dance Captain, Hannah Douglass.

Beyoncé’s full rest of the list of dancers include Aahkilah Cornelius, Ai Shimatsu, Aliya Janel, Alannah Wilhite, Amari Marshall, Brianna Pavon, Kyndall Harris, Lisa Sainvil, Nerita McFarlane, Simone Alston, Trinity Joy, Jus’t Chase, Kevin “Konkrete” Davis Jr., Rob Bynes, and Zavion Brown.

What Have Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers Said About The Tour?

Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour dancers talking about the actual tour has been a little hard to find. However, Les Twins have spoken about her in past interviews, regarding how she chooses dancers for musical numbers. “Before, we was in every number,” they told Revolt TV. “After that, she was like, ‘I want you in just this one, this one, and this one.’ Two-hour show, I come only three times. She’s like, ‘You’re a star to me. When you come through, it’s a wrap. You cannot be in every number.’ And I started to understand.”

How Much Do Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers Get Paid?

While it’s unclear how much Beyoncé’s dancers are also getting paid on this tour, it is likely higher than before. Back in 2020, Rolling Stone had reported that her and other high-profile artists weren’t giving dancers very much. Her choreographer, JaQuel Knight, has previously pushed back against reports of her also only paying $250-per-day at shoots.

“Please run me the production company, the choreographer, the shoot dates, the dancers that have rehearsed and are shooting for these rates,” he responded. And, considering it’s a full tour rather than a shoot, there’s likely a high salary set.

Beyoncé And Jay-Z Reportedly Just Bought The Most Expensive House Ever Sold In California

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are making some serious headlines today, after TMZ reported that the couple bought not only a new house in California, but the most expensive one ever sold in the entire state for $200 million.

According to the outlet, they beat out the previously held record of $177 million for an estate sale. And, while it’s not the most expensive deal in the country (that record’s held by one in NYC for $238 million), it is now in second place.

Spanning eight acres, the property is located with a Pacific Ocean view on Paradise Cove — which they note is known as Billionaire’s Row. It was initially listed for $295 million. It had originally been built and owned by the art collector William Bell, with the design coming from the Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The house also reportedly took about fifteen years to be built.

Based on photos of the property, they also have a massive backyard just in front of the ocean.

The latest collection to the power musician duo’s real estate portfolio, it follows their 2017 purchase of a mansion in Bel-Air for $88 million. However, now that the news has broke, fans on social media are divided by the large-scale amount.

Beyoncé Revealed The Role Natalia Bryant, Kobe Bryant’s Daughter, Has On The ‘Renaissance World Tour’

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour has given the Beyhive plenty to talk about since opening in Stockholm, Sweden last Wednesday, May 10. Whether it’s acknowledging the fan demand for the Renaissance visuals or tributing Tina Knowles-Lawson on Mother’s Day, Beyoncé is always the headline.

But on Wednesday, May 17, Beyoncé credited everyone making her Renaissance World Tour go. As expected with a tour this massive, there are a lot of names. People especially noticed one name, though: Natalia Bryant, the 20-year-old daughter of Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant, who tragically passed in January 2020. Bryant is listed as an intern for Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.

Bryant, an IMG model and student at USC, previously appeared in Beyoncé’s November 2021 Ivy Park campaign. “Love you so much Auntie BB,” Bryant wrote in an Instagram post at the time.

Funnily enough, Bryant’s latest Instagram post, from earlier today, featured the hook of Taylor Swift’s “Bejeweled” as the caption. Moreover, Forbes recently projected that the tour will out-earn Swift’s ongoing The Eras. According to the publication, Beyoncé “could clear nearly $2.2 billion … some $600 million more than the $1.6 billion Taylor Swift could earn from Eras.”

The Renaissance World Tour is in Cardiff, Wales, UK on Wednesday night (May 17) before jetting to Edinburgh for a show this Saturday, May 20. Beyoncé will begin her North American leg in Toronto on July 8-9 and end it in New Orleans on September 27.

Beyoncé Personally Thanks Super Fan Who’s Attended 35 Of Her Concerts In Sweet Video

The third stop on Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE World Tour is set to take place in Cardiff tomorrow (May 17), following two lively performances in Stockholm and Brussels earlier this month. Arguably one of the funniest moments to unfold at the latter show was when the “Upgrade U” singer’s long-time security guard, Julius, got even more attention than the Queen herself from fans. Bey witnessed the hilarious moment unfolding herself from up on stage. She cracked a smile as her employee awkwardly reacted to having his name chanted by the Hive.

Elsewhere during her lengthy setlist, the mother of three took a moment to show gratitude to an audience member who revealed that this is her 35th Beyoncé concert. In a video that’s since been making rounds online, the vocalist temporarily pauses dancing to acknowledge the audience member. She mouthed the words ‘thirty-five’ along with some hand gestures to ensure she got the message right. Even with her top-tier celebrity status, Beyoncé was obviously shocked by the news. She blew the concert patron a kiss before mouthing the words, “Thank you,” more than likely making their night.

Queen B is in Awe of the BeyHive’s Most Dedicated

When sharing the sweet exchange on Twitter, the fan wrote, “BEYONCÉ THANK YOU AGAIN. And thanks to the person next to me who filmed this. Bey gave me love when she saw me again. Thankful for all the shows, travels, and moments with her.” As it turns out, they have no plans of stopping at 35. In fact, they actually plan to catch the Houston native in concert again very soon. “See you next week Bey❤,” they teased.

Being able to afford one RENNAISANCE World Tour ticket is impressive enough, but having two shows pencilled into your calendar is a serious flex. As we previously reported, the LEMONADE hitmaker could make over $2 billion in ticket sales alone over the coming months. Beyoncé Hints At New Business Venture In The Hair Industry

She’s just two shows into perhaps the biggest tour of her career to date, but that’s not stopping Beyoncé from also expanding her business empire. On Tuesday (May 16), the Houston-born multi-talent turned to Instagram to share some photos – not from her recent RENAISSANCE concerts, but rather, from her glam room, as well as her mother’s hair salon back in the day. The images came without a caption but were followed by a third slide with a message from Queen B about her latest venture that’s already got the BeyHive buzzing.

“How many of y’all know my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” she began the handwritten note. “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.” During her countless hours spent watching Tina Lawson do hair, Beyoncé says she, “saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate our hair can directly impact our souls.”

Beyoncé Gears Up to Expand Her Empire

Further praising her mother, the “Halo” hitmaker went on to say, “I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.” Afterward, Bey made it abundantly clear that she’s got a special project of her own on the way. “I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating,” her message concluded.

As Uproxx notes, it remains unclear exactly what the Grammy Award winner will be doing in the realm of hair. Some have suggested a line of wigs or hair for braiding and extensions. Elsewhere, others think she’s preparing to dominate the hair care market with dry shampoos, oils, and other products to give us the Beyoncé effect. Do you think that she has what it takes to run a successful hair business? Let us know in the comments, and tap back in later for more pop culture/hip-hop news updates.

Beyoncé Teased A New Business That Has The BeyHive Ready To Flip A Wig

Beyoncé might be in the midst of her Renaissance World Tour, but that hasn’t stopped her from expanding her business empire. The “Wait Let Me Fix My Hair” singer appears to be on the cusp of launching her latest endeavor, judging from a recent post on her Instagram account. In the post, a handwritten note recounts her early career experiences performing in her mother’s hair salon, which has her BeyHive buzzing, believing that the next industry Beyoncé intends to takeover is hair care.

“How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” she wrote. “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

Because of the anecdote about her “hair journey,” Beyoncé fans on Twitter are sure that means she’s going to release either a line of hair care products or a line of wigs/hair for braiding/extensions/etc. “if beyoncé drops a hair line w wigs y’all are gonna hate who I become when I get a hold of one,” wrote one fan. “Okay let’s talk lace @beyonce,” joked another. “I would like a number of wigs and bundles. Give me some Bumble Bee Bundles pls.” Even more broke out the memes to express their excitement.

While some are skeptical, most are hoping that the new product lives up to the standards the singer has set with her music.

Who Is Lucky Daye? From “American Idol” To Grammy Awards

If you’re not aware of the singer Lucky Daye, you’re missing out! Starting out as a contestant on season 4 of American Idol, the singer has worked with big names in the music game. His songwriting credits include songs from stars including Beyoncé, Keith Sweat, Trey Songz, and Ariana Grande. However, his career as a lead artist has garnered a lot of love and critical praise during award season. Following his sophomore album, Candydrip, he cemented his place as one of the hottest R&B stars on the rise. Here’s everything you need to know about the singer taking the R&B world by storm, Lucky Daye

Lucky Daye’s Childhood

Born David Debrandon Brown, Lucky Daye was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. During his childhood, his family was part of a now-defunct Christian church that forbade secular music, considering it a sin. This forced the artist solely sing and consume music during church. In fact, his musical knowledge was admittedly limited to church hymns. According to an interview with Vice, Daye says the church’s punishments against the children were harsh. Being accused of “back-talking” or not finishing all of their food would lead to corporal punishment.

“I don’t know exactly what they had going on,” said Lucky Daye. “I just know there was a room that I hated that they put us in. If we talked, we would get beat. If we didn’t eat certain food or complained—it was always some petty stuff, like if you didn’t eat all of your food, you would get beat.”

His parents eventually left the church and Daye’s love for R&B flourished. He fell in love with legends like Prince, Rick James, and Stevie Wonder who would shape his artistry. After the damages of Hurricane Katrina, the singer relocated to Tyler, Texas. He would later end up moving, once again, to Atlanta, Georgia.

The singer was able to establish himself as a songwriter and background vocalist during his time in Atlanta, where he began working with Keith Sweat and Ne-Yo. In the years that followed, he racked up even more credits on songs with Boyz II Men, Mary J. Blige, and Keke Palmer, among others. However, things took a turn for the better when he landed a deal with RCA Records and Keep Cool in 2018 before releasing his hit record, “Roll Some Mo.”

The artist took home his first Grammy Award in 2022 at the 64th Grammy Awards. He ended up taking home the “Best Progressive R&B Album” for his EP Table for Two. In 2023, his second album Candydrip was nominated for “Best R&B Album.” His work on Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous and Beyonce’s Rennaissance also landed him nominations for “Album of the Year” and “Best R&B Song.”

Beyoncé’s Fans Go Wild Over Her Long-Time Security Guard, Julius, She Reacts: Watch

The RENAISSANCE World Tour is off to an undeniably successful start so far, with two shows down and dozens more still to come. Beyoncé began last week with a performance in Stockholm, followed by one in Brussels just a few days ago. The former’s biggest moments included the audience impressing the mother of three with their own “Love On Top” vocals and Jay-Z applauding a random couple’s engagement alongside Tyler Perry. As for her most recent performance, it seems Bey’s long-time bodyguard, Julius, stole some of her spotlight during the concert.

In a clip that’s circulating online, the security staffer stands beside the stage, ready and willing to protect his client by any means. As the vocalist walks out on the stage in her beautiful white gown, the section of patrons in front of Julius catches her attention, seemingly because Beyoncé thought they were cheering for her. Rather, they were gassing up her employee, who appeared somewhat embarrassed by the entire scene. In response, the performer let out a subtle smile, as seen in the video below, before getting back to work.

The BeyHive Loves Them Some Julius

“Julius looked back at Beyoncé like ‘[I don’t know] why they saying my name- I…,” one Twitter user joked along with a reaction video. “Not Julius about to be put on probation because Beyoncé ain’t liking him getting the attention,” another person laughed.

Elsewhere, others shared different videos of Bey’s #1 security guard in action, seemingly ready to fight off even a robot on stage should its arms get out of pocket. He hasn’t appeared to have to fight off any wild fans quite yet, though we’re still early in, and could see anything as Queen B travels through Europe and back to North America in the coming months.
