DeMar DeRozan Mocks Drake Once More After Mean-Mugging At Raptors-Kings Game

Drake and DeMar DeRozan were once good friends, but the former Toronto Raptor chose his side in the Kendrick Lamar beef and ended up going to the Sacramento Kings later in his career. Now, the 6ix God is pretty peeved. He attended the Kings-Raptors game in his home city, and we’re sure he’s pretty pleased that Toronto won. But what likely made the OVO mogul happier was being able to mean-mug DeMar the whole game, even spouting insults in his direction when he walked by. He said it was “unfortunate we’re playing this goof tonight” on his team’s broadcast, even remarking on what he’d do if the team honors DeRozan. “If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself.”

Well, DeMar DeRozan issued a pretty unbothered response to the whole thing. “He’s going to have a long way to climb to take it down, so tell him good luck,” he remarked about the Drake situation in a post-game press conference. In addition, the NBA player posted an Instagram Story of a clip of the classic film Friday in which Chris Tucker’s character Smokey tries to act tough against a bully named Deebo, much like Drizzy attempted. “I got mind control over Deebo,” Smokey boasted. “He be like, ‘Shut the f**k up.’ I be quiet. But when he leaves, I be talking again.” A lot of people thought that the Certified Lover Boy did the same thing.

DeMar DeRozan Trolls Drake

For those unaware, DeMar DeRozan not only got a lyrical shoutout on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” but he also appeared in the Drake diss’ music video. Previously, DeRozan had expressed that he still has love for the Canadian superstar, although that love clearly disappeared.

Drake’s still my man, still my man, none of it changed,” DeMar DeRozan explained. “It’s so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like. But at the end of the day it’s music, entertainment. Two of the biggest rappers in the world went at it from a competitive standpoint and they battled it out. That’s what you want to see as a fan: Kobe (Bryant) playing (Michael) Jordan 1-on-1 and see who wins, see the trash talking, and whoever wins out of that, you’re still going to have the debate, so that’s all that is.”

DeMar DeRozan Issues Unbothered Response To Drake’s Raptors Game Dig

Yesterday, Drake threw some serious shade at DeMar DeRozan at the Toronto Raptors’ game against the Sacramento Kings. He came out for Vince Carter’s jersey retirement ceremony, and when asked what he thought about the idea of DeRozan being honored on the team’s broadcast, he shut it down.

“If you ever put a DeRozan banner up, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself,” he remarked. Drake also said it’s “unfortunate we’re playing this goof tonight” in reference to DeRozan, and was spotted staring him down throughout the evening. Fortunately, it doesn’t look like DeRozan was too bothered by all of this. After the game, he brushed off Drake’s banner comment when asked about it. “He’s going to have a long way to climb to take it down, so tell him good luck,” he said.

DeMar DeRozan Tells Drake, “Good Luck”

It remains unconfirmed exactly what prompted Drake to start taking swipes at DeRozan. Social media users, however, have some theories. DeRozan, for one, appeared at Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” show and in his “Not Like Us” music video. It’s possible that Drizzy saw this as a breach of loyalty, even though DeRozan previously claimed he still considers the rapper a friend.

“Drake’s still my man, still my man, none of it changed,” DeRozan told The Sacramento Bee in July. “It’s so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like, but at the end of the day it’s music, entertainment. Two of the biggest rappers in the world went at it from a competitive standpoint and they battled it out. That’s what you want to see as a fan: Kobe (Bryant) playing (Michael) Jordan 1-on-1 and see who wins, see the trash talking, and whoever wins out of that, you’re still going to have the debate, so that’s all that is.” What do you think of DeMar DeRozan’s response to Drake dissing him at the Raptors game yesterday? Joel Embiid Allegedly Shoves Philadelphia Inquirer Reporter Who Brought Up His Late Brother

Joel Embiid allegedly got into a physical altercation with Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Marcus Hayes after the Philadelphia 76ers’ loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Embiid became upset with Hayes and an argument ensued which eventually turned physical. The NBA is reportedly investigating the incident.

Hayes published a column for the Inquirer, criticizing Embiid for his work ethic while referencing his son and late brother. “Joel Embiid consistently points to the birth of his son, Arthur, as the major inflection point in his basketball career. He often says that he wants to be great to leave a legacy for the boy named after his little brother, who tragically died in an automobile accident when Embiid was in his first year as a 76er. Well, in order to be great at your job, you first have to show up for work. Embiid has been great at just the opposite,” Hayes wrote in the controversial piece.

Prior to the incident, Embiid fired back at his critics bringing up his work ethic and targeted Hayes specifically. “When I see people say ‘he does not wanna play,’ I’ve done way too much for this city, putting myself at risk for people to be saying that,” Embiid said on Friday. “I do think this is bulls***. Like that dude, he’s not here, Marcus, I’ve done way too much for this f***ing city to be treated like this. Done way too f***ing much. I wish I was as lucky as the other ones, but that does not mean I’m not doing whatever it takes to be out there, which I’m gonna be.”

Footage of the incident has yet to surfaced but check out Charania’s report below. With the loss, the 76ers fell to 1-4 on the season. Be on the lookout for further updates on Joel Embiid on HotNewHipHop.

Drake Disses “Goof” DeMar DeRozan During Toronto Raptors Game

Drake took aim at DeMar DeRozan during the Toronto Raptors’ game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. He had been in attendance at the game to watch the jersey retirement ceremony for the legendary Vince Carter when he hopped on the team’s broadcast. When propositioned with the idea of the team honoring DeRozan, who played with them from 2009–2018, Drake shot down the idea.

While reflecting on the honoring of Carter, Drake remarked that it’s “unfortunate we’re playing this goof tonight,” while referring to DeRozan. “If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself,” he further joked. The comments come after DeRozan appeared in the music video for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and attended his Pop Out concert in Los Angeles.

He was far kinder to the Toronto rapper at the time. “Drake’s still my man, still my man, none of it changed,” DeRozan told the newspaper. “It’s so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like, but at the end of the day it’s music, entertainment. Cardi B Claps Back At Elon Musk After “Puppet” Insult

Cardi B fired back at Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter), Saturday after the site’s owner labeled her a “puppet” for endorsing Kamala Harris at a rally in Milwaukee. “Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words,” Musk wrote in response to one clip of her speech. “The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy.”

Later in the night, Cardi fired back: “I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. PS fix my algorithm.”

During her speech, Cardi reflected on her previous comments about not wanting to support either candidate when Joe Biden was still in the race. “I did not have faith on any candidates until she joined the race and said the things that I wanted to hear, that I want to see next in this country,” she explained. “I believe every word that comes out of her mouth. She’s passionate, she’s compassionate, she shows empathy, and most of all, she’s not delusional. Kamala recognizes that this country is at risk. That the economy needs to get stronger, that the cost of food and the cost of living is too high.”

Ray J Breaks Silence On Fight With Diddy’s Sons That Left Hazel E Worried For A Shootout

Ray J has shared his side of the story after allegedly nearly coming to blows with Diddy’s sons outside of Tara Electra’s Unruly Agency Halloween bash in Los Angeles, over the weekend. He discussed the incident with Wack 100 afterward, confirming that Chris Brown stepped in to help defuse the situation. The comments come after TMZ caught up with Hazel E, who admitted that she oversaw the argument and was initially worried it could end in gunfire.

“Bro, you know I’m not gonna call y’all because this could go somewhere else,” he said, before claiming about eight people approached him. He added that he “tried to talk some sense” into Diddy’s sons, but “luckily the homie Chris [Brown] was there.” From there, Wack 100 only escalated the feud, remarking that “it’s on,” and warning the Combs kids, “If we run into you, act like it’s 1995.”

Ola Runt Responds To Playboi Carti’s 2020 Diss Song After Prison Release

Ola Runt and Playboi Carti do not get along. The two rappers have been going at one another for years. Playboi Carti went as far as to aim a diss track at Ola Runt on his 2020 album, Whole Lotta Red. The diss was titled “Stop Breathing,” but Runt was already behind bars by the time it dropped. Well, Runt was let out at the end of August, and he’s eager to pick the beef back up. He hopped on Instagram and made it very clear that he has a response track ready to go. He previewed the song in a car, and leveled some aggressive threats at Playboi Carti.

Ola Runt’s diss is reportedly titled “All Dead.” The title seems to be riffing on Playboi Carti’s most recent single, “All Red.” Runt calls out the enigmatic Playboi Carti for failing to get his music played in his native Atlanta. “Whole Lotta Red,” Ola Runt raps. “How you say that’s music but the A don’t play it.” The rapper then goes after Carti’s masculinity. “P**sy n**ga you wearin’ thongs, I bet you shave your legs,” he adds. Ola Runt took things a step further by tagging Playboi Carti on Instagram. He also targeted Carti’s crew, Homixide Gang.

Ola Runt Claims Carti’s Music Doesn’t Get ATL Play

It was only a matter of time before Ola Runt responded to “Stop Breathing.” Playboi Carti’s 2020 song was a scathing diss that went after Runt’s Henchmen crew. Bars like “I got n**gas in chain gang on my side” and “I had the n**gas shank Ola for a pie” made it clear Carti wasn’t playing around. The conflict between these two men stem from the death of Carti’s friend Bigg Sosa. It’s widely believed that Runt’s crew was responsible for Sosa’s death in 2023. “Ever since my brother died (Died, what? What? Yeah),” Carti added on the song. “I’ve been thinkin’ ’bout homicide.”

Chris Brown Allegedly Prevented A Brawl Between Diddy’s Sons & Ray J

Diddy’s sons, Christian, Quincy, and Justin, allegedly got into a heated exchange with Ray J outside of Tara Electra’s Unruly Agency Halloween bash in Los Angeles, over the weekend. According to TMZ, just as the two sides were ready to come to blows, Chris Brown allegedly stepped in to de-escalate the situation.

The outlet reports that Ray J was walking through the parking lot alongside Amber Rose and his manager, David Weintraub when the trio allegedly approached him. They allegedly voiced their frustration about Ray J’s public comments regarding their father in recent weeks, following his arrest in September on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. As tensions rose, Justin and Christian allegedly made it clear they wanted to fight over the situation. Brown allegedly saw the incident from his nearby car and rushed over the calm things down.

Christian, Quincy, and Justin have all been vocally supportive of their father throughout the allegations. Taking to Instagram, earlier this month, the family shared a statement defending Diddy. They wrote in the caption of a family photo: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way, We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.” They turned off comments on the post.

Diddy is currently residing behind bars in Brooklyn while awaiting trial in his case. He’s already pleaded not guilty and denied all of the allegations he has faced. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy, Ray J, and Chris Brown on HotNewHipHop.

Tyler, The Creator May Have Dissed J Cole On His New Album, “Chromakopia”

Fans on social media have been theorizing that Tyler, the Creator intended to throw shade at J. Cole with one lyric from his Chromakopia track, “I Hope You Find Your Way Home.” On the song, he seemingly references The Fall Off rapper’s decision to bow out of his feud with Kendrick Lamar by remarking: “Never bite tongue ’til the tooth sore / If you was gon’ apologize, f*ck you shoot for? Phew-phew / When I pop out, they say, ‘Ooh, Lord’”

Despite enjoying the album as a whole, many fans on social media found the diss uninteresting. “Such a outdated line,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another fan wrote: “He is pandering… Tyler just lame rapper who gotta do stunts to stay relevant. Tf is that haircut.”

Kendrick Lamar sparked a feud between himself, J. Cole, and Drake with the release of his verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” earlier this year. While Cole initially responded with the diss track, “7 Minute Drill,” he later deleted the song and apologized for coming after his former collaborator. The move did not sit well with hip-hop fans. A few months later, Cole ended up defending himself on the song, “Port Antonio.” “I pulled the plug because I’ve seen where that was ’bout to go,” he raps. “They wanted blood, they wanted clicks to make they pockets grow.” Drake, on the other hand, confidently traded songs with Lamar for a period of weeks.

Fans Theorize Tyler, The Creator Dissed J Cole

As for Chromakopia, Tyler is planning on touring with Lil Yachty and Paris Texas in 2025 to promote the new album. Be on the lookout for further updates on Tyler, the Creator on HotNewHipHop.
