Quentin Miller Accuses Big Sean Of Attempting To Deny Him Songwriting Credits

DJ Vlad is notorious for getting rappers to open up about some pretty wild topics throughout their interviews with him.

One of the most recent artists to sit down with VLADTV is Quentin Miller. During their conversation, the “Arkham Asylum” rapper dishes on an array of different topics.

However, one rapper he decided to hone in on, is Big Sean. It all begins when Vlad brings up other artists that Miller has worked with in the past, mentioning G-Eazy, Sean and Ty Dolla $ign. However, upon hearing the “Blessings” rapper’s name, he decides to open up about their experiences together. “Yeah I worked with Big Sean. Big Sean, man, that really broke my heart,” he begins.

He goes on to detail meeting him for the first time in the studio with Drake for the recording of the aforementioned “Blessings.” “When I get to working with Sean on this last project, the What You Expect [EP] with Hit-Boy, I’m part of three songs. There’s only six songs on there. Man, we texting and talking everyday. I’m pullin’ up on Sean’s crib, like, every other day,” he continues afterwards.

Miller says he had a full-circle moment when he noticed that there was a plaque for “Blessings” up in the Detroit native’s house. “Maybe, like, a week before the album drops, he’s just not responding to me at all. Then, like a week before, I’m in the studio with Hit-Boy, I just randomly hear in a conversation with Hit, ‘yeah, the album drops next week.’ I’m like, ‘wait, what?’ I didn’t even know,” says the “Potential” rapper.

When the EP did drop, his name wasn’t initially in the credits for the first three months. “I didn’t know we was doin’ the ghostwriter thing, ’cause if that was the case, I would’ve asked for some cash,” says Miller. Allegedly, Sean and his team were attempting to explain that they had to get all of the paperwork done firstly. However, everybody else who was involved in the project, had their respective names in the credits.

Elsewhere in the lengthy sit down, Miller details writing “R.I.C.O.” and sending it to DJ Drama. He says he wasn’t aware that Meek and Drake were using the reference track to release it on their own.

Of course, Meek Mill publicly called out Drake for using Miller as his ghostwriter during their notorious beef in 2015.

Gucci Mane Lied About Killing Pookie Loc, Deb Antney Claims

Deb Antney called cap on claims that Gucci Mane killed Jeezy’s affiliate Pookie Loc during a home invasion.

During a recent interview with the Ugly Money Podcast, Deb Antney discussed Gucci Mane and Jeezy’s Verzuz battle in 2020. The showdown was one that nobody expected to take place in their lifetime but the two trap music veterans showed out to play hit after hit before performing “So Icy” together for the first time since their falling out.

Antney praised the two for joining forces for a bigger cause, though she said she didn’t like Gucci’s comments about Pookie Loc. However, Antney stated after that there isn’t any truth to Gucci Mane murdering Pookie Loc.

“It’s over with now. Technically, you really didn’t kill anybody, you know what I’m sayin’?” Antney said before describing the claims as fabricated.

“Let’s stop talking about that now because all these kids think that you’re the number one killer. And let’s not talk about it no more because now you’re a dad, you got two sons,” she continued. “Come into that and think about your kids looking at something. And these kids are looking at you a certain kind of way of something that’s fictitious. It was done for rap.”

Podcast host Ugly Money Niche looked baffled by the claim, pressing Antney further for confirmation on her claims. He asked her for a clear answer on if Gucci Mane actually murdered Pookie Loc. “No,” she said, shaking her head.

During Verzuz, Gucci Mane performed the single, “The Truth” on stage where he rapped, “Go dig your partner up, n***a, bet he can’t say shit.” Last year, Wop appeared at the 2022 REVOLT Summit where he admitted he wished he “wouldn’t have said what I said.”

“I didn’t know when I got on the stage, that was gonna happen, [that] I was gonna say that,” he added. “I ain’t like, ‘I’m bringing negative energy.’ It just really came out.”

Lil GotIt Reacts To Akademiks Claiming There’s A “Civil War Beef” In YSL

Lil GotIt denied that there is any feud among the YSL roster following what appeared to be a slew of subliminals directed at Gunna.

Shortly after Gunna made his return to social media and paid homage to Lil Keed, GotIt appeared to shut down his tribute. Then, he unfollowed Gunna, prompting Akademiks to describe the public dispute as a “civil war” among YSL members.

“YSL having a civil war beef on instagram. Gunna came out and tried testing the water … claiming YSL the label and said Free Thugga … and everybody in ysl lookin at gunna like ‘N***a u the reason he in there’ … they all unfollowed him right after even thug sister,” Akademiks wrote.

Though Ak’s observation was largely satirical, GotIt clearly caught wind of what the media personality said and cleared the air. He later hopped on Instagram and denied there being truth behind Akademiks’ comments. However, he said his comments were directed at anyone showing Lil Keed “fake love.”

“This ain’t no civil war. This ain’t none of that cappin’. I don’t know what the fuck Akademiks got goin’ on. He on some other one,” Lil GotIt said. Though he didn’t mention Gunna by name, he stated that he wasn’t tolerating anyone using Lil Keed’s name for clout.

“I’m talkin’ about anything that got to do with Keed. If I know it’s fake love you saying, I’m gon’ say something. I’m gonna put this out there,” Lil GotIt continued. “If I know it’s fake love — this goes for anybody. It ain’t aimin’ at no one [person]. I said what I said, in general. Like don’t say bruh name if you know it’s fake love, you wasn’t fuckin’ with him when he was here. That’s all I be mad — n***as thinkin’ I’m just tweakin’ out there.”

Lil Gotit Warns Everyone To Not Post About Lil Keed

Jury selection in Young Thug and YSL’s RICO case is officially underway. However, the reports that it could last six-nine months is evidently proving to make it difficult in selecting the jury.

Now that the trial is beginning though, there have certainly been some interesting developments happening.

On Wednesday (January 11), Lil Gotit took to his Instagram account to share a message to the public. “My momma said she would like for nobody to post Keed in any type of way. Like, tryna be funny.. Just don’t post it. Lil Gotit’s gon’ say something, that’s all I’ma say. I don’t give a f*ck what nobody do or nobody say, just don’t post Keed, I don’t care. I just got on here to say that,” he starts off.

“That’s what my mom said. Nobody post bruh. It could be happy, it could tryna be funny, it could be you really f*ck with him.. just don’t post him at all. I’m having no [mis]understandments about this sh*t, you hear me?” the “She Know It” rapper continues afterwards.

This comes as a response to Gunna making his first Instagram post since taking the plea deal last month. “N*ggas acting like they switching to a side But it’s only one side . #YsltheLabel #FreeThug&Yak GUNNA BACC!!!!!” reads the caption. The photo shows the “pushin P” rapper in what appears to be a studio set-up in his house.

The post hasn’t garnered a positive response thus far. Young Thug’s sister, HiDoraah, allegedly unfollowed the DS4EVER rapper following the caption. Thugger’s brother, Unfoonk, is also taking exception to it. “All Dat Internet Sh*t Not P,” he says in a subsequent Instagram Story.

Additionally, 6ix9ine is also inserting himself in the drama. “In court you said it was a gang here on IG u saying the label. Lol u can’t make this shit up,” reads his comment. Of course, the “FEFE” rapper has been criticizing Gunna for taking the plea deal ever since it happened.

Of course, Keed is Gotit’s brother. In May of last year, the “Snake” rapper passed away at 24 years old. The official cause of death is from eosinophilia, a disease that reportedly fights against white blood cells.

Regardless, it will certainly be interesting to hear whatever it is that Lil Gotit is teasing that he’s going to say.

Freddie Gibbs Has No Interest In Ending Benny The Butcher Beef: “Those Guys Are Like Comedy”

Freddie Gibbs made it clear that he has little interest in making amends with Benny The Butcher.

The two artists developed strong chemistry on wax together with songs like, “Frank Lucas” and “One Way Flight,” but things took a turn in the past few years. Gibbs took a few shots at Benny, who later returned fire before a melee broke out at a BBQ spot in Buffalo.

The two continued to go back and forth on social media following the incident in Buffalo last spring. Unfortunately, it seems as though Freddie Gibbs is willing to take this beef with him to the grave. During a recent interview with XXL, he revealed that he “couldn’t care less” about solving their issues.

“Probably not,” he said after he was asked about the possibility of them making up.

“Just because I feel like I’m not on the level of that ghetto rap beef shit. I don’t care enough to solve a beef with a rapper,” he said. “I don’t care about the rap game and what they think about me. I’ll let them care about that.”

With a budding film career on the horizon, the Gary, IN rapper explained that he’s not focused on beefing with other artists.

“I’m so far removed from that bullshit in the streets,” he said. “I’m about to be an esteemed actor and a mogul… To me, those guys are like comedy. I make jokes of these guys like that. And that’s why guys like that want to fight because they a joke to me. I don’t even take guys like that serious.”

He added, “So, I don’t care to squash no beef with nobody. You could hate me forever, and that’s fine with me because you insignificant. In general, with anybody. I mean that for any rapper.”

In another part of the interview, Gibbs stated that he’s working on four new projects, though he didn’t reveal when they would drop. In 2022, he released his major label debut, $oul $old $eparately.

Big Scarr’s Girlfriend Calls Out His Family For Allegedly Shooting Music Video At Funeral

It’s only been a few weeks since Big Scarr tragically passed away at just 22 years old. According to reports from his family, the 1017 rapper died from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Unfortunately, the weeks following his death have been messy. It all began when the late artist’s siblings publicly called out his label boss, Gucci Mane, for ghosting the family. This is allegedly after he offered to cover the costs of the funeral soon after his passing.

Now, the late rapper’s girlfriend is joining in to call out his family for their mishandling of his passing. Additionally, she goes on to accuse them of shooting a music video at the funeral service.

“Y’all really FAILED Alex as family & friends. Y’all aired ALL his personal business out, from the preparation to the funeral till afterwards. Wtf happened to privacy?? Flexing in his jewelry like it’s yours. PUT HIS SH*T UP! He not here to put it on you so don’t wear that sh*t. EMBARRASSING as hell,” she writes in the lengthy Instagram post on Monday (January 9).

“It’s only one BIG SCARR he can never be duplicated! Can’t even grieve in peace! Too much clout chasing going on! Sh*t disgusting!” she continues afterwards.

Furthermore, the family also accuses the “Wake Up in the Sky” rapper of asking for Scarr’s 1017 chains back.

However, Gucci’s wife, Keysha Ka’oir took to her Instagram account to defend her and her man. In the post, she subsequently shares a photo of a receipt from a funeral home for $10,000. “PAYMENT DIRECTLY TO FUNERAL HOME! Leave my husband alone!” she writes. “We also sent FLOWERS & not even a THANK U,” she says in a separate post to her Instagram Story.

Scarr’s sister, Alexandra Woods, says that they did receive the $10,000 payment. However, she says it’s not enough. “That’s why we said he didn’t help.. That wasn’t enough. My brother funeral was 60K in all,” she allegedly says in an Instagram Live.

The “Havin Fun” rapper’s father has since spoken out, defending Gucci Mane amid all of the drama. “Certain things were said that shouldn’t have been said. It was wrong. Man-to-man, I wish someone would’ve just dialed my number and talked to your guy, 100. All this out of control. Gucci and them the best thing to ever happen to my son,” he says explicitly in an Instagram post.

Scarr dropped his debut album, Big Grim Reaper, in April of 2021 and was a prominent member of Gucci’s label, 1017 Records. Rest in peace Big Scarr.

Lil GotIt Continues To Shade Gunna: “We Nothing Alike”

Gunna isn’t getting a warm embrace from his fellow YSL compatriots following his latest Instagram post.

As you know, the DS4EVER rapper was released from jail last month after accepting an Alford plea. Though his legal team denied that he snitched on Young Thug and the other defendants, many haven’t forgotten that he admitted that YSL is, indeed, a gang.

So, when Gunna emerged on Instagram last night calling for Yak Gotti and Young Thug’s freedom, certain members associated with YSL weren’t feeling it. Lil GotIt, most notably, distanced himself from Gunna after the “pushin p” rapper paid homage to GotIt’s brother, the late Lil Keed.

“Don’t call me twin,” GotIt wrote in response to Gunna referring to Keed as his “twin.” Afterward, fans noticed GotIt and Young Thug’s sister, HiDoraah, unfollowed Gunna on Instagram.

Though Gunna hasn’t responded to GotIt’s recent shots, the “Playa Chanel” rapper elaborated on his thoughts further.

“We nothing alike so don’t call me twin… Spike up my soda hit harder then gin… N***as in black and white without a Pen,” he captioned the post.

Afterward, GotIt shared a photo of himself and Lil Keed on his story. “Before anybody think we some bitches I’ll prove em otherwise,” he wrote “Just get yo rest twin.”

Gunna might have denied that he’s cooperated with authorities in the YSL case, it seems like GotIt and other YSL affiliates feel differently after the infamous “Yes Ma’am” video surfaced.

We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding Lil GotIt and Gunna.

Ye’s Ex-Business Manager Is Seeking More Time To Find Him

Ye was certainly successful in having one of the most controversial years in 2022. As his name was all over headlines for all of the wrong reasons, he consistently kept digging himself deeper into trouble.

Just a few weeks ago, his former business manager, Thomas St. John claimed that the “Jesus Walks” rapper was missing. Even with these claims, the 45-year-old still managed to make headlines. Now, St. John is requesting more time to find him, despite a couple of recent public spottings.

According to new reports from RadarOnline, the businessman is asking the court for three months to get ahold of the Chicago native. He wants to find him in order to hit him with a lawsuit.

This is obviously confusing considering that just two days ago, the disgraced artist was seen out with a mystery woman. On Sunday (January 8), photos from TMZ began circulating online of Ye driving around Beverly Hills in his Maybach with her. Additionally, photos show him at a church service on Saturday (January 7).

St. John alleges that he disappeared following his frightening string of hurtful, anti-semitic comments. The rapper’s ex-associate is suing him for $4.5 million in damages. This reportedly comes after the father of four is responsible for ending their partnership abruptly. St. John claims that the Graduation rapper agreed to paying him $300,000 a month for his roles as business manager and Chief Marketing Officer of Donda.

Additionally, he says that they had an agreed-upon 18-month contract. However, St. John claims he only saw payments for three months. After this, Ye began refusing to pay the remaining balance.

What do you think about the ongoing situation surrounding Ye? Comment your thoughts down below. Finally, make sure you stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest pop culture updates and stories.
