Kim Kardashian Gets Dragged For Stealing North West’s “Lion King” Look

Last month, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 10-year-old daughter North graced the stage at the Hollywood Bowl for a two-day event celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Lion King. She played the role of Simba, dazzling the crowd with a performance of the soundtrack staple “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.” North did so in a furry tan costume, recently replicated by her mother Kim.

Yesterday, the SKIMS founder took to social media to share a series of photos of herself posing in a strikingly similar look, down to North’s huge fuzzy hat and bag. She changed it up slightly, adding her own unique pair of matching tan legwarmers, though their outfits were still nearly identical. Not everyone is impressed by her take on the costume, however.

Kim Kardashian Accused Of Trying To Outshine North

While many fans find the photos fun and believe Kim is simply using her daughter as a source of inspiration, others are accusing her of trying to steal North’s spotlight. They’re out in full force in the Kardashians star’s comments section, putting her on blast for her apparent style biting. “You couldn’t let your daughter have a moment u had to wear it too,” one critical Instagram user writes. “One thing she gone do is upstage her daughter cause she bought the stage,” another says.

Kim has yet to respond to the backlash surrounding her take on North’s Simba costume. What do you think of Kim Kardashian facing backlash for copying her daughter’s Simba costume in her latest series of Instagram photos? Do you agree that she’s trying to steal North’s spotlight? Do you think the SKIMS founder deserves the criticism she’s been receiving online, or are social media users simply overreacting? Rick Ross laughed off the backlash to his latest annual car wash, on Sunday night, as fans continued to call for refunds. Eminem Fans Fire Back Amid Megan Thee Stallion “Houdini” Bar Backlash

Eminem is no stranger to controversy, which is exactly what’s come out of his new track, “Houdini.” He unveiled the single earlier this week ahead of his upcoming album, The Death Of Slim Shady. So far, the release has been pretty polarizing, and the song quickly went viral. While some social media users are praising the Detroit rapper for what feels like a return to his signature sound, others think he crossed the line with a bar about Megan Thee Stallion.

“If i was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me would I really have a shot at a feat?” he rhymes, a nod to the femcee getting shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in 2020. Many have since interpreted the line as a diss or simply found it to be in poor taste. Plenty of fans think that’s a stretch, however, and believe it wasn’t intended as a jab.

Eminem Mentions Megan Thee Stallion On New Single

Supporters are coming to Eminem’s defense as a result of the backlash, arguing that his edgy lyrics are what make him great. They’re even using some of them to respond to the outcry, suggesting that critics are ill-equipped to give the Grammy-winner writing tips. One particular response by @Shadyind, featuring lyrics from his 2023 EZ Mil collab “Realest,” has gained serious traction on Twitter/X.

“Gen Zers actin’ like rap experts zip up your gaps and close your mouths/ B*tch you ain’t been on this planet long enough to tell me how rap’s supposed to sound,” the lyrics read. Regardless, commenters continue to debate whether or not Em should have scrapped the Meg bar altogether.

Amber Rose Is Still Defending Donald Trump Photo, Addresses Her LGBTQIA+ Fanbase

Amber Rose is still catching a lot of heat for her endorsement of Donald Trump for president, which many fans feel goes against her previous values and statements. Moreover, celebrities commenting on political matters has never been a scarcity, but it feels like 2024 is one of the most divisive years when it comes to this. Regardless, she continued to rally against backlash over her support by bringing up two specific clips in a new Instagram post. One is a 1998 clip of Trump remarking on how he doesn’t really mind same-sex marriage, and the other is a 2008 debate clip of Joe Biden opposing it.

“I’ll just leave this here watch till the end…” Amber Rose captioned her post. “For all the LGBTQ+ people that think after decades of allyship I would ever hate you! [scared face emoji] Stop believing the propaganda. They are brainwashing you. Start having bigger conversations instead of staying on one side of the fence. Ur blind over there. I literally grew up in the Philly/NYC ballroom scene. Most of my favorite people in the world are gay and trans. People that truly know me know that! Please do your research and stop just making decisions based off what other people think. Be a free thinker -Muva.”

Amber Rose Doubles Down On Donald Trump Support

Furthermore, this was one of Amber Rose’s previous responses to the negative reaction to her Donald Trump endorsement. “Lmaooo y’all think Biden cares about black ppl???” she wrote on Instagram. “Sad. Do your research. I did. I’ll always put women first. Y’all want biological men in women’s sports. Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion. Stop being brainwashed, cuz WE’RE ppl of color. Make your own decisions.”

Meanwhile, Amber Rose was also in the headlines recently for speaking on her “date” with Chris Rock. “I was in New York, and I’m like, ‘Yo! Let’s go meet for coffee,’” she told Entertainment Tonight. “We met for coffee, we talked some crap to each other, [and] he made me laugh ’cause he’s hilarious. Probably why I never posted like ‘Hey, me and Chris Rock are getting coffee’ because I just didn’t want that narrative. I’m gonna value my friendship and just leave it at that. And then paparazzi caught us but we were not holding hands and we were obviously very separate and it just becomes very unfair sometimes.”

DJ Vlad Receives Backlash For Threatening Black Professor’s Job Over Drake Vs. Kendrick Lamar Comments

DJ Vlad is trending today for all of the wrong reasons. Yesterday, the personality took to Twitter/X to weigh in on Kendrick Lamar’s new Drake diss, “Not Like Us.” He made a comment about the mix, suggesting it could use some improvement. Morgan Jerkins, an author, editor, professor at Princeton University, and niece of Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins then replied, urging him to stay out of the viral conversation. “You are WHITE,” she wrote. “This is a BLACK FOLK AFFAIR.”

Vlad didn’t take kindly to the remark and quickly fired back. “Wait, so a professor at @Princeton is telling me that a white person shouldn’t be allowed to voice their opinion about Hip-Hop? Is that how you interact with your students?” he then asked. “What I’m saying is that you put your opinion in a discussion that’s not needed. This conversation is and should center Black people, not you,” she responded.

DJ Vlad Gets Called Out

Unfortunately, things only escalated from there. “Don’t try to change your words now,” he then wrote. “I’ll be reaching out to @princeton about this on Monday.” They continued to go back and forth, with Vlad later threatening to get the remark put on her “permanent record,” and seemingly threatening her job. Countless social media users are now weighing in on the exchange, with many arguing that he went too far. Content creator @colorfullstory, who goes by @cfstory on TikTok, shared her take on the debacle which has since gone viral on X. “Pay attention and watch whiteness work,” she wrote earlier today. “DJ Vlad was told this is a Black Folk Affair and his immediate response was to try to get a Black Woman fired because this was a space for Black people about Black people and him being told this isn’t for him means she needs to be fired.”

Comedian Kevin Fredericks, or KevOnStage, also had a similar take. “Vlad is whack for a myriad of reasons,” he explained. “But in this you can tell he saw a Black woman and a predominantly white university and tried to use his whiteness against her. DISGUSTING.” What do you think of DJ Vlad receiving backlash for his exchange with a Princeton University professor? Brian McKnight’s Concert Gets Canceled After He Called His Biological Children “Evil”

Last month, Brian McKnight raised eyebrows with a few shocking comments about his biological children. While addressing backlash, he suggested that they’re “evil,” and only claimed his step-children. This, of course, prompted even more backlash. One of his biological sons, Niko, even took to social media to fire back, making some disturbing allegations against his father and insinuating that he’s actually the “evil” one.

Now, it appears as though McKnight continues to face the consequences of his remarks. He was scheduled to perform at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit at the beginning of June, but the event has since been canceled. This is due to social media users trolling even organizers online, making it clear that they weren’t interested in supporting him any longer.

Brian McKnight Critics Troll Event Organizers

“Wouldn’t even go for free,” one unhappy commenter wrote. Another said, “Tell him bring his kids and we might come.” Those who bought tickets were later notified that the event had been canceled. Social media users are now celebrating, with some dubbing it “karma.” His ex-wife Julie even chimed in with a simple popcorn emoji, indicating that she’s enjoying watching it all unfold. Shortly after McKnight’s comments on their kids, she responded with a clip, comparing him to a child throwing a tantrum.

“The point of every negative situation, whether it’s an illness whether it’s a fool that you have to deal with because they keep entering your life when you are no longer giving any more energy to it, is to only keep you down to where they thought they had you because they were the author of an extremely abusive situation emotionally, mentally,” she explained. “So when everybody pulls that away, it’s like a kid without candy who throws a tantrum…” McKnight has yet to address the cancellation. Cam’ron & Mase’s Controversial Reaction To Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” Prompts Backlash, They Respond

Kendrick Lamar’s eagerly anticipated response to Drake, “Euphoria,” finally dropped earlier this week. As expected, the diss track has since garnered passionate reactions from both sides of the fence. As for Cam’ron and Mase, they think Drizzy’s come out on top so far. Evidently, however, a lot of their viewers disagree.

During an episode of the Come & Talk 2 Me podcast posted today, the duo addressed the backlash they’ve received for their take on the song. “Drake is definitely winning from an MC standpoint,” Mase said during a previous episode. “It took a while for us to get the record from Kendrick and when you wait a while it gotta be outta this world. I think if Kendrick dropped this record right after ‘[Push Ups] Drop and Give Me 50,’ it would have been cr*zy.”

Cam’ron & Mase “Don’t Get” Why They Can’t Share Their Opinions On Drake & Kendrick Lamar Beef

Cam had a similar take, claiming that while the song isn’t bad, it’s just not as impressive as he’d expected. “I think Drake is winning,” he said. “‘Euphoria’ didn’t really move me. I’m expecting lyrics from Kendrick, you’re expecting certain things. The song was kinda long, it took too long to come out — pause. I’m not saying it’s bad.” Their stance certainly riled up some fans, but according to them, the backlash they’re receiving is unnecessary.

“Do you realize that n***as is mad because of our opinion on the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar?” Cam’ron began. “I’m like, ‘yo, bro. Why we can’t have our opinion?’ I don’t get that! I don’t really get why we can’t have our opinion! Secondly, this is what I wanted to say. And this is not to start a problem with anybody. West Coast people: East Coast n***as is not as big on the ‘coast’ sh*t as y’all are on the coast sh*t.” What do you think of Cam’ron and Mase’s take on Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” diss? Do you agree that Drake is winning the battle so far or not? What about their response to backlash? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Ray J’s Shocking Face Tattoos Are Fake, He Admits Amid Backlash

Earlier this month, Ray J debuted a new face full of tattoos. As expected, they sparked serious concern among his fans. According to him, some doctors even slid into his DMs to tell him they were worried about his mental health, and his sister Brandy was less than impressed.

“My sister hit me and said, ‘Yo, that post that you posted, take that s**t down,’” Ray J admitted. “She said I didn’t look clean, I looked dirty. My mouth was chapped, I got white s**t coming all out my mouth. My sister is mad at me because she doesn’t want my face tattoos. She doesn’t want me to come online irresponsibly. And that’s why I love her.”

Ray J’s Ink Is Only Temporary

During the Live, someone off camera joked that the tattoos “might be permanent” now. “Oh hell no, don’t say that,” he responded. Ice Spice’s Android Sparks Fierce Debate, Backlash From iPhone Users

It’s no secret that Ice Spice is killing it these days, impressing her fans with her Coachella performances this month and gearing up to drop her new album, Y2K. While the Bronx-born baddie isn’t dropping new music or showing off her moves onstage, she frequently gives fans a glimpse at her life on social media. Recently, however, a simple mirror selfie was received poorly by some of her followers due to the fact that she took it using an Android.

“Ice spice having an android is so turnoff,” one Twitter/X user wrote yesterday, sparking a major debate. Now, other users are weighing in on the femcee’s device of choice. While some agree that she should get an iPhone, others are coming to her defense.

Ice Spice’s Android Is A “Turn Off,” Some Fans Argue

Most agree that no longer liking Ice Spice only because she uses an Android is just silly. Interestingly enough, it appears as though she actually has an iPhone too. In several of her Instagram posts, she’s seen holding it, so she may alternate between devices. Either way, a lot of commenters aren’t happy, and luckily it’s mostly due to the backlash she’s receiving.

“Ice Spice is viral all because she has an ANDROID?!?!?! You mfs really need to reevaluate life lmao that’s ins*ne,” one Twitter/X user writes. “Why do people actually care what kind of phones people have??” another wonders. She’s yet to address the backlash surrounding her Android phone selfie.

Ray J Sparks Concern Among Doctors & Friends With Bizarre Face Tattoos

Ray J is once again making headlines for some wild stuff, although this might be a little more tame in many’s eyes. In fact, he’s been on an upward trajectory as of late, with the biggest story about him recently being some dating rumors with Sukihana that really ignited over this past weekend. However, the Mississippi entertainer is drawing a lot of concerned, amused, or perturbed reactions online due to his new collection of face tattoos. They include the names of his children, Melody and Epik, plus the logo of his Tronix TV network, as he showed off on Instagram Live on Monday (April 22).

“Everybody tripping,” Ray J remarked, indicating that his friends and even medial experts are pretty worried about this decision and apparently his mental health. “I had a few doctors call me and DM me. Thank you, I appreciate the love because if you worried about me, then please let me know. If I’m falling by the wayside, If I’m going left, help me go right. I’ma listen. Straight up.“ Then, he relayed plans to make them even larger on his face despite concerns, and claimed that they were unfinished at the moment.

Ray J Shows Off New Face Tattoos: Watch

“I’m about to go finish them right now, and I’ma really go big today,” Ray J planned out, which probably didn’t help with folks already expressing concern. “When I’m done with them, then I think everybody might f**k with them. But if they don’t, you ain’t got to look at me.” Furthermore, in a separate clip, he explained that, while he thinks the tats make him “look real unattractive,” it was his intention to make it so that he probably wouldn’t appear in more movies or TV shows, thus allowing him to focus on more executive and behind-the-scenes entrepreneurship.

“It’s all in for me now,” the 43-year-old posited. “I did this on purpose.” Nevertheless, what do you think about these face tattoos? Is Princess Love’s ex making the right boss move here to avoid TV and movie deals or was there a simpler way to do this? Drop your thoughts on all this in the comments section below.
