Kodak Black Has Fans Concerned After “Sad“ Rolling Loud Miami Performance

Recently, Kodak Black graced the stage at Rolling Loud Miami, performing several of his hits alongside a group of talented dancers. Unfortunately, however, his performance hasn’t exactly been well-received by social media users. As clips from the show make their rounds online, the Florida rapper can be seen wandering around onstage, smoking, and more. Reportedly, he showed up late and appeared more focused on random objects onstage than actually performing.

This has earned big reactions from fans in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. Many are insisting that he needs help, and urging his team and others around him to make sure he gets it. “He needs help! His team is failing him!” one commenter writes. “No mic? Not one lyric? This is truly sad to watch. Why his team let him even go on stage like that. He needs ppl around who care about him. This is embarrassing,” someone else claims.

It’s speculated that all of this could be a result of alleged substance abuse. This is unconfirmed, but Kodak has been open in the past about his struggle to stay sober. Earlier this year, for example, he told his supporters that he had mostly stopped using. In November, he revealed that he was experiencing a setback when a fan said they were glad to see him on a better path. “B***h, I ain’t sober,” he said at the time. “I look sober? Never sober, b***h. For what? Look at all this money. Look at all this cash. Sober for what? I’m too young to die sober.”

That same month, social media users thought they saw him allegedly pop a Percocet during a livestream with Kai Cenat. He later dismissed fans’ concerns, making it clear he wasn’t interested in the feedback. “I’m just Yak, bro. Aint s*** changed, that’s how I came in this b****,” he said in part.

Candace Owens Targets Sexyy Red While Criticizing The Evolution Of Popular Music

Candace Owens has a lot of hot takes about the music industry, but the conservative commentator’s issues do not solely rest on any one artist. She recently hopped on Nick Cannon’s Counsel Culture show to talk about the “conspiracy” that labels push certain images of Black culture for maximum exploitation and to lessen their worth. Owens specifically brought up Sexyy Red as an example, comparing the differences between her and other massive Black musicians of yesteryear such as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Basically, the media star thinks this is part of a plan to belittle the Black community and sell debauchery over artistry.

However, this argument is about as old as time itself, and not even Candace Owens’ perceptive assessment of how the music industry informs its exports and disseminations fully explores this narrative. People like Sexyy Red find success because they find an audience, and that audience listens to her music for a whole variety of different reasons. Sadly, that hasn’t made her garner any less hate online – sometimes from Owens herself – but she continues to expand her career despite this pushback.

Candace Owens Believes Sexyy Red Is Part Of A “Conspiracy”

Instead, what Candace Owens talked to Nick Cannon about is more of a question of variety and versatility in the mainstream music market. Sadly, her own argument fails to consider how Sexyy Red is part of a much larger artistic landscape that does include figures emulating the likes of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, and how more traditionalist critiques of artists like Sexyy fail to recognize this. It’s part of the holes within conservative arguments against certain forms of artistic expression. They minimize accountability and willpower for the audience and exaggerate what listening to artists like the St. Louis femcee actually says about you.

In other lanes, Candace Owens continues to paint other superstars like Jay-Z and Beyoncé as devils within the industry, so her hot takes will probably never stop. As for Sexyy Red, we doubt that she really cares too much about these comments, as she already sidestepped far worse variations of them. But Owens does bring up some interesting points about industry standards and demographic targeting, even if her conclusion lands as a misguided presumption.

Blueface Called Out For Renaming Seafood Restaurant “King Of Crabs”

It’s been a tough year for Blueface. In January, the “Thotiana” rapper turned himself in for an alleged probation violation, and he’s been behind bars ever since. Incarceration is certainly bad enough, but his youngest child was also left without any parent on the outside for a short time, as his mother Chrisean Rock got arrested in June. She’s back home now and appears to be committed to a better path. It’s unclear whether or not Blueface has something similar in mind.

He does have a new business plan underway, however, which involves a revamped version of his seafood restaurant in Santa Clarita. “My first business, @bluesfishandsoul, was a successful failure i decided to revamp, and I’m back with even more seasoning 🦀 the king of crabs grand opening Jan 20th, 2025 #freeblueface @kingofcrabsofficial,” his official Instagram account posted earlier this week alongside some footage from inside the restaurant. For the most part, fans are supporting his latest endeavor, but some are taking issue with his choice of name.

Adam22 Questions Blueface For New Restaurant Name

Recently, for example, Adam22 weighed in during an episode of his podcast. He argued that the name was a bad idea, as it’s likely to offend people in Blueface’s circle. “By putting it as the name of your business, you can’t easily get away from it. So if it does offend people, if people in your orbit are offended by it, you’re stuck with it,” he explained. “And from my perspective, when you want to choose a brand name, you don’t really want to go with like an edgy joke that you might think twice about later. Like this isn’t an Instagram caption. This would be something that it would be a very big pain in the a** to change.”

This is far from the first time Blueface has been called out in recent weeks. He also recently unveiled some new face tattoos during his prison stay. One of them even says “Chrisean,” sparking backlash from fans. The Baddies star also recently revealed that the two of them exchanged vows, leaving followers fed up despite the union not being official.

Andrew Schulz Fires Back After Meek Mill Drags Him For Kendrick Lamar Rape Joke

During a recent episode of his Flagrant podcast, Andrew Schulz issued a response to Kendrick Lamar seemingly calling him out on his new album, GNX. In the song “wacced out murals,” the Compton rapper mentions an unnamed white comedian making jokes about Black women. “Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black woman, that’s law,” he raps.

Schulz accused Kendrick of being a hypocrite and pointed out some of the times he’s worked with alleged predators in the past. He even went on to joke that he could rape the artist in a bizarre rant, leaving many social users outraged. This included Meek Mill, who took to X to share his thoughts on the rant last night. “White man saying they’ll rape black men openly is extreme … and then say it’s just a joke .., black manhood not a joke! I seen the same guys saying I was gay on his stand up! My white friends like it’s a joke! We don’t joke like that in the black community at all!!” he wrote.

Andrew Schulz Digs Up Old Meek Mill Tweet

Shortly after, Schulz fired back with a post of his own, sharing a screenshot of Meek laughing at jokes about his sexuality in a separate tweet. “The first time I laughed at being gay…. But don’t wit me in real life I may swing lol,” Meek had written at the time. “You seemed to like it,” Schulz captioned the screenshot.

Meek was far from the only person who thought Schulz crossed the line, however. As clips of his rant made their rounds online, several other users criticized him, arguing that his comments were strange and unwarranted. O’Shea Jackson Jr hopped on X to call Schulz a “Weird ass n***a,” for example, noting how he feels like Schulz has changed for the worse. “Man how people change on some weird sh*t,” he wrote.

Momma Dee Blasts Haters After Son Lil Scrappy Welcomes Newborn As A “Single Man”

Over the weekend, Shakira Hardy revealed that she gave birth to Lil Scrappy’s fifth child Kyrie late last month. In a heartfelt post, she reflected on the life-changing experience and shared some sweet photos featuring the newborn. “For the last 7days I’ve been completely distracted by this lil man 💙🥹 Saturday 11/23/24 @ 7:39am I gave birth to a baby boy 7lbs 2.5oz,” she wrote. “Labor was long but with the support of my child’s dad @reallilscrappy and my daughter, I was able to push him out in under 6mins 🥳🙏🏾💙 Officially a #boymom 🥳😝💙.”

Of course, social media users were quick to flood her comments section with words of support. Unfortunately, however, not everybody was on board. Scrappy has been getting dragged ever since announcing Hardy’s pregnancy, as the two of them are not in a relationship. He addressed this negativity on Instagram Live recently, making it clear that he plans to be there for his child no matter what.

Lil Scrappy Checks Critics

“That’s ignorant as f**k,” Scrappy said of the backlash. “I be like, ‘You can’t get mad at ’em cause they probably not happy with their life. I’m happy with mine. I’m good. Imma love on them, just like it’s supposed to be done … I’m sorry your momma and daddy weren’t there for you like I be there for mine.”

Keyshia Cole Leaves Fans Outraged After Reuniting With Hunxho

Recently, Keyshia Cole’s love life took an unexpected turn, leaving her supporters fed up. The songstress announced that she was single a few weeks back, following a controversial fling with Atlanta rapper Hunxho. It appears as though they might be back together now, based on a new clip shared by Cole. In it, she and Hunxho are seen singing along to her track “You Complete Me” in a car, indicating that they could be an item once again.

“And they say he don’t smile,” she captioned the post. At the time of writing, it’s unclear exactly what led to Cole and Hunxho’s rumored breakup, or when they decided to reunite. With that being said, many fans didn’t see this coming and are outraged as a result. “Next time keep it to yourself, have us out here hating a brother for nothing,” one Instagram user comments. “We tired Keyshia fr,” someone else says. Fortunately for Cole, however, not everyone is against her and Hunxho’s apparent reunion.

Keyshia Cole Shares New Video Featuring Hunxho

“We listen & we don’t judge,” one fan writes. “Everybody just [mind] their business lol. Keyshia is a Libra woman && we just love HARD,” another claims. Hopefully, Cole and Hunxho’s reunion works out in her favor this time around, as she’s already been through a lot in recent months. In May of this year, for example, Hunxho and Gloss Up teamed up for a song and steamy accompanying music video. In it, she’s seen twerking on Hunxho, they hang out in a bathtub together, and more. Gloss Up even promoted the music video on Instagram with a flirty caption, earning a response from Cole.

“You Know What It Is In Real Life . 4L StinkaLink 🫶🏾 ‘Come Here’ Out Now Link In Bio,” it read. Gloss Up later shared some alleged text messages between her and Hunxho and called him a “mass manipulator,” telling Cole to “run don’t walk.” Despite this, Cole and Hunxho appeared to be going strong until last month.

Dave Blunts’ Performance At Juice WRLD Day Leads To Wave Of Criticism Online

Dave Blunts was one of a couple of performers at Juice WRLD Day at Chicago’s United Center on Saturday (November 30), and he was probably among the most notable. Moreover, he took to the stage with an oxygen tank, and this decision resulted in a lot of backlash online. Many fans criticized Blunts’ entourage for allowing him to perform in such conditions, others took aim at the rapper himself for his weight and life decisions, and a few fans became more critical of the Juice WRLD Day organizers for promoting this image to honor a late rapper who passed away due to substance abuse.

During Dave Blunts’ performance, he also called out Snoop Dogg for clowning him online, and Snoop couldn’t help but just laugh in response. “That was funny,” he said while laughing boisterously. “Go ahead, lil’ homie – I mean big homie… I ain’t f***ing with you… I apologize to this n***a. He’s still going off on me. I must be getting old.” “Well put down the chicken wings and Tata chips Nefew and that chair gone break soon get to the end of the cup,” Snoop had commented online in reference to Blunts’ “The Cup” song and music video.

Dave Blunts’ Juice WRLD Day Performance Leads To Backlash

Apart from Dave Blunts, plenty of other rappers also attended Juice WRLD Day in Chicago, commemorating the late rap legend’s life and legacy. It comes at a pretty interesting time for his artistry, as a lot of fans didn’t really like his posthumous – and final – album, The Party Never Ends. Still, at this point, real fans know the gems in the catalog, and so they can continue to mourn and celebrate Juice in their own way.

More Reactions

However, a lot of these fans find it pretty odd that Dave Blunts performed at Juice WRLD Day, and there were a lot of divisive and varied reactions to his appearance. Some fans expressed a stronger aversion to The Party Never Ends, and this contributes to a pretty weird moment for the fanbase. Hopefully fans can continue to have respectful and empathetic conversations about these topics rather than just blindly sending hate or mockery someone’s way.

Courtney Love Reveals “Crush” On Kendrick Lamar But Gets Called Out For Her Racist Past

Sometimes an artist’s praise towards another can backfire in a pretty big way, especially when the commendation seems so out of character. Moreover, that’s what’s happening to grunge star Courtney Love right now, since fans recently had a lot to say about her latest interview with The Standard published November 26. She was asked about which artists she would love to work with as a dream collab, and K.Dot was one of her multiple answers. However, Kurt Cobain’s widow sparked backlash for this statement, or rather, for her alleged racist past that this praise of Kendrick and other artists sought to obfuscate.

“I would love to work with Kendrick Lamar; I have a mad crush on him,” Courtney Love told the outlet. “I also love UK femme drill artists, but it has to sound organic, not forced. Additionally, I’m a fan of Stormzy and Doja Cat. […] Like I said, I have a big crush on Kendrick. He is also genius.” Courtney also remarked that she would love to work with her “home guys” like Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre. But this is where the problem starts to arise.

Courtney Love’s Kendrick Lamar Praise Raises Eyebrows For Various Reasons

Moreover, people saw these Kendrick Lamar comments and looked back at all of Courtney Love’s alleged controversies when it comes to racism. The big one is a 1994 track that her band Hole recorded and performed only once in 1994 reportedly titled “N***er Of Your Dreams.” This adds to other alleged bigoted remarks during live shows and interviews, such as her questioning whether Black people really listen to rock music and associating them with prison. Considering the themes in Kendrick’s music, then this seems like quite misguided or at least performative praise.

That is, if Courtney Love hasn’t learned or changed at all in 30 years, which we sincerely hope she has if she promoted racism in the first place. Maybe this is the result of newfound healing and understanding, so we hope that she already got over her bigoted bump or is doing so right now. Otherwise, it’s all smoke. As for Kendrick Lamar, GNX is doing incredibly well, and its massive success is the cherry on top of what’s been an incredible year for him.

Druski Put On Blast By Child Actor’s Mother For Calling Her Son “Fat”

Druski never fails to make headlines for his wild internet antics, but recently, his behavior during Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 2” Thanksgiving special has created an uproar. At one point in the stream, the comedian and various others were seen sitting around a table. This included Kevin Hart, members of the Addams Family, and more. One child actor dressed up as Pugsley even joined them, but unfortunately, his evening took a turn for the worse.

Throughout the stream, Druski called the boy “fat” multiple times. Cenat then reprimanded Druski as the boy started crying. Ultimately, Druski apologized to the boy, letting him know that his remarks were all in jest. Despite this, the boy’s mother was furious, and promptly hopped online to call him out. In a clip, she explains how the situation made her incredibly upset, as she had no idea what was going on.

Druski Called Out For His Behavior During Kai Cenat’s Stream

“They wouldn’t let me get my son. Security blocked me. The person in charge of telling me what’s supposed to go on was telling me my son was crying because he didn’t get enough food, which is a lie. An older person, Druski, was physically and mentally insulting my son!” she said. “They let this happen to my son! It’s really damaged him. I don’t think anyone should let their kids around drunk men. They also broke the child permit laws. Very unprofessional. We love Kai Cenat, we’ve worked with him before, but Druski, you are not it!”

Cenat later addressed the debacle on stream, arguing that the boy’s remarks in his mother’s video seemed “forced a little bit.” He also claimed that they cut this portion of the stream after the fact simply to avoid more jokes being made at the child’s expense. “We cut it out solely for the fact we didn’t want anyone on YouTube to make a joke out of this. That’s how serious this is,” he stated.
