Fifth Suspect Arrested For Montgomery, Alabama Brawl

Another suspect has been arrested in the fallout of the recent viral brawl in Montgomery, AL. For those who missed it, things got ugly last weekend when a group of white people at a waterfront attacked a Black riverboat captain. The result were brutal, as more people from each side joined in on the altercation. A clip of the fight took the internet by storm. Allegedly, racist slurs were heard being used by somebody involved.

According to reports, a 42-year old man named Reggie Ray surrendered to police today (August 11). Allegedly, Ray can be seen in the video hitting people with a folding chair. He turned himself in after officials requested that involved individuals come forward. Currently, Ray is being held at the Montgomery Municipal Jail. He’s charged with one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. This is the lightest charge yet to be dealt out to those involved. The other four suspects have each received at least one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault.

Mayor of Montgomery, Steven Reed, shared a statement before Ray was arrested. He cited the “diligence and dedication of the Montgomery Police Department, the Harriott II Crew and the help of witnesses.” Reed went on to say that the other four suspects who had been arrested “came from out-of-town to cause chaos and sow divisiveness.” “At this point, the FBI has not classified these attacks as a hate crime, but the investigation is ongoing,” he added today.

Though all of the charges handed to the suspects are misdemeanors, they could change as more information is gathered. “At the time, we did not have the luxury of all the videos that we have seen now, that you and I have seen, and that the world has seen,” Montgomery Police Chief Darryl Albert explained earlier this week. “So again, as we gain more information, as we get more video, as we talk to more individuals, if charges are meant to be amended, they will be.”

Druski Says He Will Represent Kai Cenat In Court After New York Giveaway Arrest

Kai Cenat recently tried to hold a giveaway in Union Square in New York City, gifting hopeful fans video game consoles and much more. However, it didn’t work out very well, as violence and chaos ensued that overwhelmed the New York Police Department. Moreover, they took the streaming giant into custody, although many reports suggested that this was a straight-up arrest. Now, with more information and context emerging around this incident, the future looks quite odd for Cenat, as it’s unclear how accountable he will be for this riot-like event. At least he’s got legal representation from the head of Coulda Been Records, as Druski recently claimed (or joked) that he will represent Kai in court.

“I will be representing Kai Cenat in court…” Druski wrote on his Twitter page above a picture of him in a tan suit. “He is in good hands.” Not only that, but the social media and comedy star also posted a funny video of him seemingly taking to Cenat on the phone. From what it indicates, maybe the Twitch streamer should look elsewhere for legal advice. “Aye, uh, we got good and bad news,” Druski told him. “Good news: we got your payment, buddy. Bad news: they gave you life. Sayonara,” he says with a chuckle as he hangs up on him.

Jokes aside, it looks like Kai Cenat will actually need that help in court. Furthermore, NYPD announced that they do have plans to formally charge him for the giveaway event and the danger and damage that it inadvertently caused. Specifically, an officer named at least two counts of inciting a riot and unlawful assembly, and said that there will be a few more charges in addition to that. What’s more is that Cenat apparently did not inform authorities of this plan to work something out beforehand or seek a permit for this.

Of course, people are debating whether this is deserved or purely to make an example out of him. In either case, it’s still quite early in the process to tell for sure. For now, we just have to stay posted on the Coulda Been Law Firm and hope that the streamer can surpass or atone for this with grace and righteousness. Woman Allegedly Tied To 350Heem’s Murder Says She Isn’t A Felon

Last weekend, Florida rapper 350Heem was murdered. According to reports, the 25-year-old was hosting an album release party for his new LP, Taking Chances 3. Things took a turn for the worst, however, as he was later shot and killed outside of the Jade Fox Wine Bar & Lounge in Lakeland, Florida. Another individual, a 48-year-old woman, was also injured in the shooting.

A woman was arrested in connection to 350Heem’s murder at the scene of the tragedy. A gun was also recovered, which had been reported as stolen in 2015. The 23-year-old, Jamilah Johnson, was then charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, which her defense says is inaccurate. “She’s not a convicted felon,” her lawyer Jeff Holmes stated. He also pointed out that despite not being a felon, she does have a criminal record.

Johnson was charged with carrying a concealed weapon in 2022. After pleading no contest, court documents suggest that the charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor. Her lawyer continued, “Since she wasn’t a convicted felon and the only charge they originally arrested her for was possession by a convicted felon, she never should have been arrested.” 350Heem was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. The other injured individual was left with “critical injuries.”

“It’s a grief I’ve never felt before,” the rapper’s aunt told 10 Tampa Bay while confirming his passing. “You never want to bury your 25-year-old nephew.” Kennie Crawford, 350Heem’s mother, also shared a statement on her son’s death. “I am in disbelief,” she expressed, “My heart is broken. I can’t even gather my words right at this moment.” 350Heem was also the younger brother of former NBA player Dwayne Bacon. Bacon shared a message to his late sibling on Instagram earlier this week. “We were the first two kids momma had,” he explained, “and we made it out. You and I, we made it out. Crazy, I always believed in you no matter what you did.”

Superstar Pride Turns Himself In, Charged With 1st-Degree Murder

Up and coming rapper Superstar Pride has turned himself in to police. According to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to a home yesterday (July 19), where they found a 40-year-old man dead. The man, identified as Marcus Wheatley, had multiple gunshot wounds. Upon further investigation, Cadarrius Pride AKA Superstar Pride, was found to be the suspect. The events leading up to the shooting are currently unclear. Pride’s connection to Wheatley is also unknown.

The 21-year old’s family later called police, notifying them that Pride would like to turn himself in. He then surrendered to Chief Deputy Reginald Lantern, and was brought to the Panola County Detention Center. He has been charged with 1st-degree murder, and does not currently have a bond. Unfortunately, if he’s convicted, Superstar Pride could be facing some serious time behind bars.

Earlier this year, Superstar Pride’s track “Painting Pictures” debuted at No. 99 in the Billboard Hot 100. It eventually reached No. 25 on the chart, peaking after the 5lbs of Pressure track went viral on TikTok. At one point, the song was removed from streaming platforms due to copyright issues, much to fans’ disappointment. It famously samples Faith Evans’ 1995 Faith track, “Soon As I Get Home.” It later returned after issues with the sample were resolved.

In an interview with Billboard in May, Superstar Pride revealed plans to drop his debut album, 777, this summer. Though he had claimed he wanted to release the LP on July 7, it has not yet been unveiled. He went on to discuss his upbringing, revealing the meaning behind the title of his EP 5lbs of Pressure. “I knew I had five pounds of pressure because it takes five pounds of pressure to pull a trigger.” He told the outlet, “I seen that I had five pounds of pressure at the age of seven, and that’s when a lot of my life changed. I just took that stage of life and I’m telling my story.”

G Herbo Cracks Awkward Grin In Latest Mugshot

It appears that G Herbo could’ve easily avoided last week’s arrest. Per TMZ, Chicago police confirmed that they pulled over the rapper over a simple traffic infraction that led to a gun charge. Chicago PD said the rapper failed to signal when turning on July 9th before they discovered a Glock 33 in his vehicle. However, the rapper didn’t spend too much time in jail, later bonding out for an undisclosed amount. Still, he’ll have to return to court later to fight the charges.

Additionally, G Herbo’s mugshot surfaced online a few days after he bonded out. The rapper’s picture seems rather confusing as he cracks a grin of sorts in the camera. It’s hard to tell what his emotions are but he’s certainly expressive. At this point, there isn’t a confirmation on when he’s supposed to return to jail. The rapper was charged with misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon. Police reportedly discovered 300 grams of cannabis but the rapper won’t face charges for that.

Unfortunately, G Herbo’s latest run-in with the law only piles on to his legal trouble. The rapper is currently dealing with a fraud case related to his December 2020 arrest. Herbo and four others were indicted on 14 charges including wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. Authorities claimed that the four individuals used stolen identities to make luxury purchases including vacations and private jets. Police claimed that G Herbo and his co-conspirators used fraudulent identification and credit card to rent out a villa in Jamaica and purchase designer puppies.

Regardless of the trouble in Herbo’s personal life, he’s still dishing out plenty of heat these days. In April, the rapper came through with his latest project, Strictly 4 My Fans II and delivered several stand-out verses. Along with features alongside Tee Grizzley and NLE Choppa, he also appeared on King Von’s latest posthumous album, Grandson, on the song, “Real Oppy.” Hopefully, we’ll hear more from G Herbo throughout the summer. Boosie Badazz took his kids to see Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny at the movies, earlier this week. He showed on Instagram that he still had to wear his ankle monitor.

“I’m n the movie n this ankle monitor shining n shit smh people cutting they eye at me like I’m Menace 2 society,” he wrote. “Before this happen I was legalized Voter .tax payer ,wasn’t n no trouble .THIS SHIT SUCKS . I don’t like how people look at me with this on my leg smh people looking like I’m go steal something smh.” In another post, he shared a video of himself with his kids in the seats. Boosie was hit with federal gun charges, earlier this year, immediately after his state-level case was dismissed. His attorney, Meghan A. Blanco, called out prosecutors for their handling of the situation afterward. “The circumstances of Mr. Hatch’s arrest have been widely known since early May. Nevertheless, the federal government waited until Mr. Hatch was set to resolve his state case before filing identical federal charges,” Blanco said in a statement to Billboard. “And then, after they took him into custody, they announced that they were unprepared to proceed with his detention hearing. Because the government was ill-prepared, Mr. Hatch was forced to cancel a number of shows over this historic Juneteenth weekend.”

There was excitement in the air when Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III came together for a brawl last month. Of course, the professional fighters weren’t the only ones in the building who put their hands on each other. Reality stars Joseline Hernandez and Big Lex also got into an altercation that resulted in the former being arrested on battery charges. Today (July 11), TMZ released body cam footage from the moment police attempted to detain her. Needless to say, it doesn’t paint Joseline in a very flattering light.

The Puerto Rican’s anger was still running rampant by the time Sunrise PD authorities arrived. Hernandez was quick to go after them with verbal and physical attacks. She made it abundantly clear that she wasn’t comfortable with being touched by any white men. From there, things only became more chaotic. The 36-year-old threw her phone at a man in the room attempting to calm her down. It’s been speculated that he’s the same voice who called Lex a “d*mb a** b**ch” when her and Joseline’s spat broke out.

As cops stepped in to de-escalate that drama, the multi-talent shoved one of them. In response, the other responding officers in the room took Hernandez to the ground as she continued to yell troubling homophobic and racial messages at them. The mother of one was eventually handcuffed, though she still resisted being taken away. This ultimately left police with no choice but to pick her up by the legs to carry her out.

Social media users have had plenty to say about the tense video, many of them speculating that the socialite’s inability to handle her liquor (or perhaps other substances) leads her to act out in anger. “This is not SOBER behaviour , and let’s not pretend it is,” one concerned person wrote in @theshaderoom’s comments. “Once she points that finger at you, get outta dodge ,” another laughed. Blueface and his baby mama Chrisean Rock make news with their antics pretty much every day. He has even blamed his recent house arrest on taking a charge for Rock. Just a few days ago the trailer for season 2 of their show Crazy In Love dropped. In the trailer for the controversial reality series, the pair discuss the paternity of their child together. New episodes of the series are right around the corner as season 2 begins later this month.

In the mean time, Blueface took to Instagram to show off some recent progress in his legal matters. On his story, he showed off a video of his ankle monitor being removed. The video is accompanied by the caption “I’m off the leash” implying that he can go wherever he wants now. The development comes just a few days after he pleaded guilty to shooting charges spawning from an incident in Las Vegas last year.

His guilty plea to one charge, in particular, is likely to result in a massive break for Blueface. He faced a felony count of discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure. That charge comes from an incident in October of last year when Blueface reportedly shot into an occupied car. While the case is likely to result in just probation for the rapper, he’s still involved in a civil trial stemming from the incident. He also plead guilty to misdemeanor battery from another incident last year. That incident involved Chrisean Rock and her team reportedly assaulting a woman who tried to film them.

Blueface has still managed to keep one leg in the music scene amid all his trouble. He’s released a number of new singles this year and delivered a handful of features as well. Mozzy Reportedly Arrested In Wichita Less Than Two Months After Prison Release

Mozzy fans were overjoyed when the West Coast rapper completed his 10-month prison sentence in early May. As we reported last summer, he turned himself in on federal gun charges. Still, he didn’t let being behind bars stop him from dropping bars of his own. He collaborated with friends like Baby Money and Celly Ru and left us seriously impressed with his own Kollect Kall EP back in April. Mozzy has been busy celebrating since his spring homecoming. Unfortunately, that came to an end early on Sunday (July 2) morning, when he was reportedly arrested.

Footage of the 36-year-old being detained by police in the dead of night has been appearing online. “Maaan @MozzyThaMotive came out to our city Wichita, [Kansas] for a dope a** show,” one user wrote along with their video. “Went to [an] after party and then got arrested. SMH, free Mozzy yo, f**k 12.” According to ABC News, the nightclub where the recording artist was partying was actually the scene of a shooting that left seven people shot and two trampled.

Kansas Nightclub Shooting Sees Mozzy’s Arrest

The venue is located at 222 North Washington Street. As gunfire rang out, screaming was heard coming from inside at 12:58 AM. Lt. Aaron Moses, Executive Officer of the Wichita Police Department spoke with the outlet, confirming that one person remains in critical condition. Other victims (ranging in age from 21 to 34) were transported to local hospitals for treatment and are expected to be fine.

ABC notes that “one person has been detained for questioning at this time,” though Mozzy specifically wasn’t named. However, with the videos showing the Oak Park native in the same area at the same time being detained, it’s not hard to piece the puzzle together. Hassan Haskins Arrested For Strangling Girlfriend

Tennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins has reportedly been arrested in Nashville on felony aggravated assault charges. Haskins was taken into custody on June 29 after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend on June 22. Haskins was a fourth-round draft pick for the Titans in 2022 and appeared in 15 games, rushing for 93 total yards.

The June 22 assault reportedly happened after Haskins saw that his girlfriend, Makiah Green, had liked a picture from another man on Instagram. The two argued, with Haskins pinning Green to the bed and strangling her with both hands after she refused to stop throwing his shoes on the ground. After he stopped strangling her, the two reportedly slapped each other repeatedly.

Reportedly, Haskins was arrested Thursday following a second altercation with Green. After arguing at dinner, Haskins reportedly returned home without Green. Forced to Uber home, Green allegedly threw a glass at Haskins before locking herself in the bedroom. Reportedly, Haskins then broke down the bedroom door and began arguing with Green. At this point, Green reportedly tore a chain off Haskins’ neck. After he reportedly broke her phone, Green took Haskins’ phone and claimed to see Snapchat messages from “naked women”, prompting her to allegedly break Haskins’ phone.

Furthermore, Haskins has alleged that Green choked him from behind with a broom before throwing his Playstation 5 through the wall. Both were arrested and have since made bond. Green was charged with aggravated assault and felony vandalism. Haskins was held on a $10,000 bond while Green was held on $7500. The Titans running back will appear in court on July 10 in Jefferson County.
