BossMan Dlow Seemingly Taken Into Custody By Florida Police: Watch

BossMan Dlow did not have a great start to his week. If the footage that’s gone viral on social media is to be believed, that is. On August 5, a fan uploaded a video of the rapper seemingly being arrested. He gets handcuffed and escorted to a vehicle by federal officers. A fan can scarcely believe what’s going on, and proceeds to yellow BossMan Dlow’s name. The rapper turns and looks acknowledges the fan, which has many convinced that it is in fact him.

The caption over the video claims that BossMan Dlow fell prey to an FBI raid. The thing is, there hasn’t been any information to confirm the raid or the rapper’s arrest. Florida authorities haven’t confirmed that BossMan Dlow is in custody, or whether he has been formally charged. The site RL Live theorized that Dlow was putting together a car giveaway to help Floridians in need. The site then posits that the poor organization of the event, and the lack of permits, led to authorities being called and arrests being made. Neither the rapper’s camp nor the authorities have confirmed this, however.

BossMan Dlow Was Seen Handcuffed In His Native Florida

BossMan Dlow is no stranger to legal trouble. The rapper was locked up for drug possession back in 2019, and spent a good portion of the COVID pandemic behind bars. Dlow talked about his experience during a March 2024 profile with XXL. “I had sale charges, possession of cocaine charges, sh*t like that,” he conceded. “When I was in there, COVID had came.” BossMan Dlow recalls being spooked by COVID, and theorizes that he caught it despite not being treated. “I seen all the deaths all the numbers rising and sh*t like that,” he added. “I thought my people was going to die when I was in there.”

Since his release, however, BossMan Dlow has been on an upward trajectory. The rapper scored his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with the single “Get In with Me.” He also earned a spot on the prestigious XXL Freshman List in July. BossMan has plans to continue his upward ascent, and is even manifesting a collab with Drake. One of [my dream collabs] is Drake,” he told the outlet. “I definitely need a song with Drake… So, we gon’ have something on the way.” Hopefully the rapper’s seeming arrest doesn’t get in the way of his career ambitions.

TI Arrested By Mistake At Atlanta Airport: Report

TI just got a pretty rough reminder that his name is a pretty common one, as authorities reportedly arrested him by mistake at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Sunday night (August 4), according to TMZ. Specifically, it seems like law enforcement responded to an active warrant from Baltimore, Maryland for a man named Clifford Harris, which is coincidentally the rapper’s real name. This other Harris is reportedly wanted for allegedly being involved in violence against a woman, stalking, and potential firearm possession. Authorities moved the Atlanta trap pioneer from the airport to Clayton County jail and the out-of-state warrant caused an automatic extradition hearing.

Steve Sadow, T.I.’s attorney, reportedly told TMZ that he spoke with Clayton County’s Sheriff’s Office over the phone and got his client out of prison less than two hours after the arrest, and a judge looked over and dismissed the extradition order. This complaint is from June 13, and as of writing this article, it seems like the other Clifford Harris is still a wanted man at large. However, this isn’t the only legal issue that he faced as of late. Tip and Tiny filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit accusing them of sexual assault and battery.

As for other legal issues in Atlanta, T.I. recently gave his thoughts on how he thinks Young Thug and YSL’s RICO case will end. “He coming home,” he told The Breakfast Club during a recent interview, saying that he’s been in touch with Thugger and that they’re both feeling good about his chances. “I don’t think that the prosecution has successfully proven a case of him knowingly and willingly participating in an active street gang. I just don’t see it.”

“The witnesses they’ve called thus far [haven’t] proven what they said they would prove,” T.I. continued. “I just don’t think that the grounds of their case have been presented properly. Just ain’t seen it. Don’t worry. When he come home, we’ll get it right. Just get him here… He’ll be just fine.” Along with his comments on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, he has a lot of takes to dish out on the rap game, so we’ll see if he says anything about this reported arrest mishap.

Kai Cenat Reacts Harshly To Fanum’s Arrest, Calls NYPD “A Gang”

Twitch streamers Kai Cenat and Fanum are part of a YouTube video creation team called AMP. AMP recently moved into a penthouse in New York City after spending several years in Atlanta. However, they were evicted for unspecified reasons just a few days later. Cenat and Fanum are both from The Bronx, so a move back to New York City doubled as a homecoming for the two.

During the Dominican Day Parade, NYPD pointed a gun at Fanum and seized his car, a purple Lamborghini Urus. His driver, Walton, was handcuffed. Fanum later claimed that he had a permit to ride along the parade route. Fanum’s own livestream captured footage of the arrest, and he confirmed his intent to sue on his Instagram story after safely arriving home. The NYPD later said that the vehicle was stopped because there were no license plates on it. Cenat reacted to the arrest and subsequent NYPD officer photos posing with the seized car on his stream.

“NYPD is a gang. Do you hear what I’m saying to you? NYPD be moving like a gang, and nobody will listen to me,” said Kai Cenat. “Not even the GTA V cops do this sh*t, dude.” He also mocked the officer’s photo op, asking what his badge number was since it was not visible in the Instagram posts. Cenat also argued that pulling a gun on Fanum was excessive, since Fanum was not doing anything that would necessitate such an escalation.

Of course, people might remember that this is not the first time Fanum has been arrested. In August 2023, the NYPD took both Fanum and Cenat into custody. What started as a PS5 giveaway quickly turned into a riot in Union Square. They were not in custody for very long, though their arrest sparked debates over what responsibility content creators have in managing their fans. Hopefully, this latest situation gets resolved quickly. If nothing else, fans are very happy that nothing worse came from such a potentially harmful situation.

Foolio Murder: Suspects Named As Arrest Body-Cam Footage Hits The Internet

Overall, the Foolio murder story has been one that hip-hop as a whole has been following closely. It all took place a few weekends ago as the artist was celebrating his birthday in Tampa Bay, Florida. However, it turned deadly when the rapper’s car was riddled with bullets. He was pronounced dead on the scene, with fans paying homage to the artist on social media. Since that time, the police in Jacksonville have been trying to solve the case.

Earlier today, it was announced that three people were arrested for their alleged connections to the murder. Sean Gathright, Isaiah Chance Jr., and Alicia Andrews were the three people placed under arrest. As it stands, they have been hit with murder charges and will now have to go on trial. Below, you can see that the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released footage of the arrest. In both instances, they had the SWAT team involved.

Foolio Murder Suspects Have Been Arrested

“Your Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Tampa Police are announcing the arrests of 3 people in the murder of Charles Andrew Jones II, known as Julio Foolio,” The Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook. Jones was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Tampa hotel on June 23, 2024. Saturday afternoon, JSO SWAT, CPR, and Gang Unit members located and arrested Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21″

Justin Timberlake’s Lawyer Argues Police Made “Significant Errors” In DWI Arrest

Justin Timberlake’s lawyer argued the singer was never actually under the influence at the time of his recent arrest for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York. His attorney, Edward Burke, presented the argument in court for a hearing in the case on Friday. In doing so, he claimed police made several “very significant” errors in the arrest.

“The most important fact to know about this case is that Justin was not intoxicated and should not have been arrested for DWI,” Burke said in a statement obtained by CNN. “The police made a number of very significant errors in this case.”

Burke continued: “Justin respects law enforcement and the very important job that they do. He cooperated with the police officers at all times and treated them with the respect they deserve. He also respects the entire judicial process including the District Attorney and Judge who were in court today. But the fact remains, he was not intoxicated and they made an error in arresting him for it. We are confident that this charge will be dismissed.”

Police pulled Timberlake over for allegedly failing to stop and a stop sign and also stay in his own driving lane. Additionally, they claim he admitted to having “one martini” before driving. One officer described him as having “slowed speech,” and performing “poorly” on all standardized field sobriety tests. His arraignment in the case is set for next month. Wack 100 Thinks Diddy Will End Up Behind Bars

Wack 100 discussed the possible legal trouble Diddy could be facing during a recent interview with VladTV. In doing so, he theorized that the Bad Boy mogul will end up behind bars if he faces federal charges. Homeland Security previously searched his homes in Los Angeles and Miami on March 25. According to CNN, the case stems from various sexual assault allegations Diddy is facing in civil court.

The conversation began with the two discussing the reports that Diddy is apparently selling his home in Los Angeles for $70 million and his decision to scrub his Instagram. As for whether Wack expects Diddy to end up in prison, he said: “If they charge him federally, I believe the only way he will not go to prison for the time that they wanna give him, is if he starts giving them something, if he starts cooperating. At this point, I could be wrong, if they tell Diddy, ‘You want this 30 to do 27 or this 10 to do 7, but we need this, this, and this, which we know you know about, I think Diddy’s gonna cooperate.”

Wack 100 Weighs In On Chrisean Rock’s Bizarre Arrest At Blueface Hearing

Last month, Chrisean Rock, the ex-girlfriend/baby mama of rapper Blueface, was arrested for appearing at his court hearing. The controversial multi-media figure is still trying to be there for him regardless of their troubled past. However, all that seems to be doing is getting her in more trouble than she already is, especially legally speaking. It’s why Rock showing up at the June hearing knowing she had active warrants was so puzzling. The key one is the 2022 Oklahoma ordeal. She was charged with “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance”.

Wack 100, the manager for Blueface, has been an active voice during all of these legal issues. So, it was no surprise that he recently sat down with Vlad TV to discuss this wild arrest of Chrisean. In his chat with Vlad, Wack 100 gave extra insight for why she showed up knowing her situation. Essentially, with Jaidyn Alexis being there, she felt the need to show up. Wack claims he preached to Chrisean that it was far too risky, especially with her going on IG Live in the court room. Also making things worse is the fact that Blueface’s parents did not want to take Rock’s child.

In regard to Blueface’s situation, Wack revealed to Vlad that he expects the rapper to be free soon. He predicts it will happen either on July 26, or at the latest, the end of this month.

Lil Reese Claims Woman Accusing Him Of Rape Allegedly Stole $25K From Him

Earlier this month, Lil Reese was arrested in Los Angeles after a woman accused him of raping her at a hotel. Boosie Badazz first shared the news with social media followers last week, though the reason for his arrest was unclear at the time. More details of the incident surfaced online days later. The woman reportedly called the police from a phone in the hotel’s lobby at roughly 3:30 a.m. A few hours later, Lil Reese was taken into custody.

The Chicago rapper was released on $100K bail, based on online records, and quickly took to social media to deny the allegations. “On My sister Ree Ree the whole story cap and made up,” he wrote. “Fuc I look Like this ain’t that I know better and the same way y’all posting that shi make sure yall post the case get thrown out on my court date they do anything for clout and tryna come up try again.”

Now, Lil Reese is accusing the woman of stealing money from him, and his legal team is doing everything in their power to get it back. He alleges that after arriving on the scene, authorities found $25K cash in a pair of joggers in her suitcase. He also alleges that they confiscated the cash when she was unable to identify the amount.

“During his arrest he had roughly $25,000 cash in his possession,” a letter from attorney Max B. Gorby reads in part. “This money was not booked in with his property nor was he given a receipt for it.” Gorby went on to ask whoever has the money to release it to either Lil Reese or his manager. Specifically, the host referred to YNW Melly’s “Mixed Personalities” as a similar narrative to what Woody was saying, which is coincidentally and ironically another high-profile criminal case in rap music today. Then, the YSL affiliate said that his thoughts on the matter actually line up well with the reason why he listens to NBA YoungBoy so much.

“Trauma, man,” YSL Woody’s remarks began. “We have been through so much. That’s why I listen to YoungBoy. When I listen to him, I hear the words, but I feel it. I be like, man, he younger than me. That boy needs help, they keep locking him up. That’s the same thing that they were doing to me. So they feel like we’re a threat, so they gon’ lock us up. But when they lockin’ us up, they’re destroying us, they’re making us worser.

Lil Reese Calls “Cap” On Rape Accusation Stemming From Recent Arrest

Lil Reese has spoken out on his recent arrest for rape, labeling the accusation “cap” in a statement on his Instagram page. Boosie Badazz first revealed that authorities arrested Reese, earlier this week, although the reason was previously unclear. TMZ later reported that Reese had been on a dinner date with the unidentified woman prior to the alleged incident. When the two returned to a hotel, the rapper allegedly forced himself on her when she declined his sexual advances. She escaped down to the lobby and immediately called the police. Reese was released from custody on a $100K bond.

News of the arrest first began circulating when Boosie revealed that he witnessed police take Reese away in handcuffs in downtown Los Angeles. “I’m at the hotel downtown and they just took Lil Reese to jail,” he said in a clip online. “He came out handcuffed. They had all his bags, so if any y’all Lil Reese people, y’all need to check on him. They just took him to jail.” Boosie went on to claim a woman lied about him, but didn’t detail exactly what it was regarding. “Some woman said he lied on him or some sh*t,” Boosie added. “Any of Reese’s people, the Grim Reaper people, they just took him to jail downtown L.A. and put him in a car. Y’all need to tap in with your people.”
