Gucci Mane Announces New Album “Breath Of Fresh Air” For October 2023 Release

Gucci Mane has taken to social media to announce his new album, Breath Of Fresh Air. He shared the album’s cover art, which features him and his wife with their two children. The rapper also shared that the album is set to be released later this year, on October 13, 2023. The post featured his newly-dropped single alongside Lil Baby, “Bluffin.”

Earlier this week, Gucci Mane revealed that he plans to go in a new direction with the upcoming LP. During an interview with Zane Lowe for New Music Daily, he revealed that the deaths of various friends impacted his decision. “Ever since, I guess November of when Dolph passed away and my artist Scarr passing away and TakeOff passing away and Pooh locked up and Foo locked up, that’s why I kind of named my album a Breath of Fresh Air,” he explained. Gucci Mane then described wanting to set a better example with his latest project. “I just, like I said, let me just try to be the person … I’m just not in the mood to hear a whole bunch of drilling and killing and this and that and not saying that I haven’t did that before, but just right now, just let me just kind of lead by example and show people that it is more to rap about than my opps and all that.”

Gucci Mane Unveils Details Of His Upcoming Release

You can rap about going out to eat with your girl or your wife. And that’s what all the songs are about. I’m not saying all about the same thing, but that’s what I’m kind of trying to get off. And a lot of artists I see rap about the pain in they life, but me through my career a lot of times I do a lot of rapping about cars and jewelry and just extravagance,” the rapper also explained.

Yesterday, Gucci Mane dropped the LP’s first single, “Bluffin” featuring Lil Baby. The song was accompanied by a music video, which showcases both rappers. He appears to diss Wack 100 on the new track, with bars that claim he “ain’t arguin’ on the internet.”

Gunna Announces “A Gift & A Curse” For June 16 Release

Gunna has taken to social media to reveal that his next offering, a Gift & a Curse, will be released this Friday, June 16. He announced the news on Twitter, adding that the new record is “from Me To You.” a Gift & a Curse is available for pre-save now. The announcement follows Gunna recently previewing new music on social media. Last week, he shared a snippet of an unreleased track with fans on his Instagram Story. He also released the track “Bread & Butter” earlier this month, and some listeners speculated that he dissed Lil Baby and Lil Durk in the new song.

Gunna has denied claims that he called anyone out on the song, saying instead, he was “Just lettin the world hear [his] story.” He did, however, appear to address the YSL RICO case in the song, and both of the rappers have distanced themselves from Gunna following allegations that he snitched on Young Thug during the trial. Durk even appeared on DJ Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast last month, where he made his feelings on Gunna very clear. “Now I don’t sit up here and play games, man,” the rapper began, “That man told. You should have went in there and kept your mouth closed.”

Gunna Confirms New Music Is Coming This Friday

He went on to vent about Gunna, dubbing him a “rat.” “If you a rat, you a rat,” Lil Durk explained, “If you rewind this clip a little bit, I looked into the camera and told you, if you a rat, I f*cking hate you. Because I love Thug.” Lil Durk isn’t the only peer to have turned his back on Gunna amid the accusations. Boosie Badazz has continually expressed his distaste for Gunna in recent weeks. At the beginning of this month, he told TMZ Hip Hop that he wouldn’t collaborate with the rapper, even if it was for $1 billion. “What I would do to a rat if they gave me a rat to do business with $1 billion,” Boosie pondered before adding, “I don’t wanna incriminate myself, sorry.”

Boosie’s also stated that he hopes his career flops. “I don’t want no rat to excel. I hope he never sell a record again,” he told The Big Homies House podcast in May. Though he may be facing ongoing public scrutiny for his decision to take a plea deal in the YSL RICO trial, there are still many fans eager to hear Gunna’s latest offering. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates on Gunna.

Lil Yachty Will Answer Fan Questions & Give Advice On His New Podcast

Georgia-born rhymer Lil Yachty was just 18 years old when he blew up thanks to SoundCloud in 2016. In the years since, he’s delivered projects like Teenage Emotions, Nuthin’ 2 Prove, and most recently, the experimental Let’s Start Here. Lil Boat’s talent has also allowed him to forge close friendships with huge figures such as Drake, who’s never been one to shy away from giving his young pal his flowers. Earlier this month, the pair linked up to do a Stake live stream together via Kick.

While the Canadian kept us laughing with his painted nails and declined credit card, fans were obviously happy to have Yachty in the vicinity too. It remains unclear if the heads at Kick followed through with Drizzy’s idea of signing the “Broccoli” hitmaker to their platform. Nevertheless, Yachty is obviously feeling inspired as he announced via his Instagram Story earlier this week that his first-ever podcast episode will be dropping soon. Rather than using his platform to discuss topics of his own choosing, the 25-year-old is eager to give fans an opportunity to connect with him on the show.

Lil Yachty Hops on the Podcast Bandwagon

“Filming my first podcast,” Yachty wrote on Monday (June 12). “Send me any questions [you] want me to answer/any advice [you] need. Haha let’s go,” he added before hundreds of responses presumably poured in. The “Act Up” writer didn’t explicitly share when he plans to drop the podcast episode, but the fact that he’s recording something is promising.

While there’s definitely excitement surrounding the news, some replies in @nojumper’s comment section expressed disdain for yet another celebrity-hosted internet show. “Just what the world needs. They just gonna be talking about finger nail polish etc,” one critic speculated. “I’m good.” What advice would you most like to receive from Lil Yachty? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Doja Cat Begins Counting Down On Twitter As Album Rumors Swirl

The follow-up to Doja Cat’s 2021 album Planet Her has been teased for quite a while now. Doja has announced a few different names for the coming album which has had fans buzzing over when they might get to hear it. Starting yesterday, Doja began teasing something with tweets counting down from 6. In the past month she’s tweeted a trio of obscure statements each of which includes some form of the word “scarlet” and the blood emoji. “scarlet was here.” “scarlet’s watching,” “let myself heal, scar finally sealed” the rapper has tweeted.

But over the weekend Doja Cat upped the ante. All it took was a simple tweet of the number “6” to get people stirring. When she followed it up the next day with a “5” tweet people began marking their calendars for new Doja. While it isn’t clear right now what she is counting down toward, it seems safe to assume it will arrive at the end of this week when the countdown reaches 0. Reports of Doja’s forthcoming project have been circulating for months now. Back in April, she teased fans with a trio of tweets that seemed to imply she was working on more than one new album.

Doja Teases Fans

After changing the name of her album a few times throughout the process of recording it, she gave fans an explanation. In an interview, she blamed her ADHD for the shifting album titles and announcements, all of which have since been deleted. Speaking of deleted tweets, Doja also drew some attention for comments on her previous albums. “planet her and hot pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it” Doja said on Twitter.

Earlier this year, Doja Cat jumped on a remix to one of the biggest hits of 2023. SZA’s “Kill Bill” has been near the top of the Hot 100 all year so far. When SZA teamed up with Doja Cat for a remix the song to jump up to the number one spot. Alongside that remix, Doja got plenty of attention for her cat-themed Met GALA look. Between those and her Twitter drama, she’s been in the news cycle a lot despite not releasing any new music. Let us know what you think Doja might be teasing in the comments below.

Russ Announces New Album, “SANTIAGO”

Russ has announced that his next album will be titled SANTIAGO and that it will release on Friday, August 18, 2023. He reflected on the announcement in a lengthy statement posted on social media, Saturday afternoon. In doing so, he also shared the cover art for the project.

“This album represents my mental, spiritual, physical and emotional journey to my treasure (I talk more about what my treasure is on the album but it’s symbolized by the pyramid). The journey at times wasn’t and isn’t pretty,” Russ wrote. “I’ve put myself through the ringer and beat myself up quite a bit along the way. The front cover depicts externally what that sort of psychological warfare looks like.”

From there, he continued to discuss the artwork while noting that the project is available for pre-order now. “The back cover depicts the internal dynamics at play. Myself, my inner child and my shadow. It’s a battle vs myself at all times and I had to do a lot of self excavation to make this album,” he said.

Russ continued: “I’m really excited. I’m really nervous. SANTIAGO is my journey to self love & self mastery while touching on the obstacles that have provided resistance along the way…feelings of emptiness, inadequacy, imposter syndrome, doubt, anger, shame (to name a few) and ultimately issues from my childhood that have shown up in my adult life. It’s my attempt to understand, navigate and heal. It’s the most vulnerable music I’ve ever made and I had to do a lot of excavating to make it. I hope that by listening to me face my own emotions, you all gain the courage to face your own. It was a confronting experience and I hope it resonates with people who are trying to navigate the obstacles on their own journey because as Paulo Coelho said, ‘one man’s journey is every man’s journey.’”

Russ’ “SANTIAGO” Announcement

The SANTIAGO announcement comes one month after the release of his latest EP,  CHOMP 2.5. That project featured production from Boi-1da, Alchemist, Havoc, 9th Wonder, and more across six tracks.

The Weeknd just shared a song earlier today from the album, titled, “Popular.” It features Madonna and Playboi Carti and was produced by Metro Boomin and Mike Dean. The Weeknd Reveals The New Album Comes Out June 30

The artist spoke with Interview in April, telling them that the new album is “just as important” as the series. He added, “There’s a whole album. I’m not shying away from making music. It’s just adding another element to my already crowded schedule.” “I’ve been inspired by The Wall and Purple Rain and when Bowie was doing it, but even films like Shaft, the music is literally telling the story of the film. But I want to take it to the next level,” he revealed. The Weeknd went on to share, “I want to challenge myself and I feel like, as a musician, I’m the best I’ve ever been. But I have ADD. I can’t focus on just that. It’s like, how do I throw a wrench in it?”

The series has stirred up some controversy for nudity and a Rolling Stone report of an alleged behind-the-scenes “shitshow.” Their piece featured interviews with various members of the cast and crew. The show, however, received praise from Sharon Stone in May. “I just watched the first two episodes of @theidol. @lilyrose_depp and Abel (@theweeknd) [are] so sure-footed,” she wrote on Instagram. She continued, “Sam Levinson addresses the root of crisis in entertainment,” adding, “Which comes first, the brilliance? Or the heartache?”

Post Malone Announces New Album “Austin”

Posty season is now in full effect. Moreover, Post Malone just took to Instagram to share a candid video with fans, which contained a special announcement. His next album Austin is set to release this summer on July 28. Not only that, but the artist also let fans know that his next single “Mourning” is scheduled for release this Friday, May 19. In his message, the 27-year-old hinted at a different artistic direction for his next endeavor. His last album Twelve Carat Toothache and previous projects already dabbled with that, so it’ll be exciting to see how much farther he goes.

“Hey guys, what’s going on?” Post Malone began his Instagram video. “It’s Posty. I wanted to say that I love you guys so very f***in’ much. I’m here on tour in Europe right now. And I wanted to tell you guys that I have an album coming out this summer on July 28th. It’s called ‘Austin,’ like my name. That is my name. It’s been some of the funnest music, some of the most challenging and rewarding music for me, at least.

Post Malone’s Announcement

“You know, trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff,” Post Malone continued. “I played guitar on every song on the record and it was a really, really fun experience. But I’m super excited to get that out for you guys. We just shot a music video in Scotland, it’s absolutely stunning up there. There’s a big a** ice cube in it which I thought was pretty bada**.

“But I’m super excited for you guys to hear it and I love you guys so very much,” he concluded. “You know, I hope you guys just keep f***in’ being amazing and keep spreading love and just keep being yourself and I f***in’ love y’all, man. Lil Durk Announces New Album “Almost Healed” Releasing Next Week

It’s officially Smurk season. Lil Durk just announced that his next album Almost Healed will release next week on May 12. Via Instagram, he shared the news with excited fans by sharing the cover art and release date, keeping his word. Moreover, the Chicago MC promised to do so if fans left 100K comments on a post promoting his upcoming music video with J. Cole. As such, fans responded rabidly and eventually reached the milestone, and Durk delivered just a few days later. Given just how much he teased this album’s arrival, his supporters must be ecstatic that it’s coming so soon after these updates.

Furthermore, Lil Durk said that the album was finished just a couple of weeks ago in April. However, one thing that remains to be seen is if he landed one of his dream features: SZA. “@sza the goat,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “Y’all bet not sleep or get blind. Every female every car every sale she really her… I need you on my album ASAP [trophy emoji and sunglasses emoji]. A hit not a regular song. Go tag sza blow her s**t down. Tell her Smurk need her.”

Lil Durk Announces Almost Healed

What’s more is that The Voice recently reflected on how therapy has helped him a lot in his personal life. We’ll see if such reflections find their way on Almost Healed‘s tracklist, whose title certainly points to that. “Being more open,” Lil Durk remarked on how the process has uplifted him. “Being more open to letting [my new manager] Pete [Jideonwo] in. Moving certain people out the way. That’s the best feeling. Therapy, the kids, the new team, all that. But the best feeling is really just starting over.

“I got a therapist so I cope different,” he continued. “I don’t show emotion. So, some people will be like, ‘Man, you can’t hold it in.’ And I just can’t talk to nobody usually. You gotta be careful how you tell people, what you tell people, because they can use it against you. They can find out your weaknesses. So now, when I talk to the therapist, then it start getting more emotional. But like somebody on the street, you’ll never even see me shed a tear. I think I had to go to therapy fresh out the womb.” Let us know if you’re excited for Almost Healed down in the comments below. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Durk.
