Joe Budden Goes Off On Diddy & The “Lie Of Black Excellence”

Joe Budden has addressed the latest video of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016, labeling the Bad Boy mogul a “lying sack of sh*t.” He spoke about the incident during the latest episode of his podcast, which comes after he previously edited out a segment on Diddy, last week.

“Before we even get to the lies told on Instagram pertaining to the case,” Budden began, seemingly referencing Diddy’s apology video. “I’m talking about the lie of Black excellence. It’s a few of you n****s moseying around out here under the good name of Black excellence and you n****s are living like pieces of sh*t. This ain’t 20 to 30 years ago. N***a you not white. You can’t do what them white n****s do and say, ‘Hey I’m checking into rehab,’ and all will be well. You ain’t white and this ain’t 20 or 30 f*cking years ago.” Diddy apologized for the incident and said he’s been going to therapy in an attempt to better himself in a video on social media on Sunday.

Budden previously defended his decision to cut out a segment on Diddy during last week’s episode, saying that the news broke as they were wrapping up the recording. “I took it out because it was insensitive for the moment,” he told fans afterward. “I was talking for four minutes about what happened, and in three minutes at the end, it was not the attention that the story needed, and it wasn’t the commentary that it needed. So, I don’t need to be the first one to run to something.”

Australian Politician Calls For Diddy Boycott Following Cassie Video: “Everyone Has A Role To Play”

Sussan Ley, the deputy leader of the Liberal Party of Australia, has called for a boycott of Diddy’s music in the country from its radio stations and other media outlets. Ley made the call in a statement following the new video showing the Bad Boy mogul assaulting Cassie in 2016.

“Australians have an opportunity to take action on this issue. We can call out this unacceptable violence,” she said. “I am asking Australian businesses to reconsider any activities they may be taking that may be financially benefiting Mr Combs. This should see Australian media companies, including radio stations, take any of his music off their channels today. Everyone has a role to play in calling out domestic violence. Australia should send a clear message on this matter.”

Benzino Calls Out The Black Community For Not Supporting Diddy

Benzino is upset with the Black community for turning on Diddy following the allegations against the Bad Boy mogul and the Homeland Security raids on his properties. Benzino came to Diddy’s defense during an appearance on The Danza Project on Tuesday. It’s unclear if he recorded the interview before the latest drama, a video of him assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016.

“Since when have we given the law, the system, one of ours?” he questioned. “Since when? This man ain’t been charged with nothing criminally. Not one f*cking thing. They done went in the man’s property with tanks and army men and National Guards, and he ain’t got charged with one criminal charge right now to date. They don’t got one f*cking charge yet. I’m more upset about how our own are ready just to give him, ‘Here, take him. Lock him up.’ Since when do we do that?”

We never have taken a key back from anyone but the team is doing an analysis of what the next steps are.” Adams presented Diddy with the honor back in September, just two months before Cassie filed her initial lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul.

In a post on Instagram, Shyne described Diddy’s pattern of behavior as “diabolical” and offered prayers for Cassie and any other alleged victims. Diddy has since apologized for his actions in the disturbing video.

“I vehemently denounce the repugnant behavior of Sean Diddy Combs captured on the video in which he is seen physically assaulting Mrs Cassie Ventura-Fine,” Shyne wrote. “There is no place for Violence against Women anywhere on the planet. Kim Porter’s Alleged Friend, Kola Boof, Clarifies She’s On Cassie’s Side Amid Backlash For Threatening To “Obliterate” Her

Kola Boof, who was allegedly a friend of Kim Porter, has come forward to clarify that she’s on Cassie’s side after facing backlash for a controversial post she made earlier in the week. She had threatened to “obliterate” Cassie if she tried to silence her comments on Porter after claiming that her late friend was also a victim of Diddy’s alleged abuse. The drama comes after CNN published footage of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016. The Bad Boy mogul has since released an apology video.

“CASSIE ‘fans’ are the ones making it into something that I did not say,” Kola Boof wrote on Twitter. “We’re ALLL on Cassie’s side. Nobody’s against Cassie. But the truth of what KIM PORTER went through will be spoken. And I WILL SPEAK IT!!!!”

As for her original post, Kola Boof had written: “My heart goes out to CASSIE. The abuse she’s endured is horrible. I hope she gets more victories against Diddy. But if she tries to sue me for speaking up for KIM PORTER–I will obliterate her. Point blank. And that goes for DIDDY too. I’m here for Kim.” While going back and forth with users in the replies, she claimed that Cassie’s lawyers have already reached out to her. Check out her latest post on the matter below.

Kola Boof Speaks Out

Despite the disturbing video, Diddy won’t be facing criminal charges for the incident as the statute of limitations has already passed. Kodak Black’s Attorney Labels Diddy’s Alleged Assault Video A “Leak,” Theorizes More Trouble Coming His Way

Kodak Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, weighed in on the legal implications of the new video of Diddy allegedly assaulting Cassie at a hotel in Los Angeles from 2016. He theorized that CNN, which published the footage, didn’t “obtain” it and instead it was leaked. In turn, Cohen thinks there’s bigger legal trouble headed the Bad Boy mogul’s way.

“Anyone who thinks CNN ‘obtained’ the video is a sucker,” Cohen wrote on Instagram. “This was a leak, and to me, it telegraphs the fact he’s about to be charged in a bigger case. This way, if Cassie is the star witness, they can rely on the fact she was essentially under his control. By the way, that is why this case should have been settled way before the lawsuit was filed.” In a comment on the post, he added: “One other observation is there is a reason he hasn’t left the country or flew anywhere the past month. My belief is they would arrest in a criminal complaint if he flew anywhere.”

Cohen isn’t the only one with theories as to the reasoning behind the release of the video. 50 Cent made a similar remark while sharing the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office’s statement on the video on Instagram. The department revealed that, due to the statute of limitations on assault, Diddy won’t be facing any charges regarding the incident.

50 Cent Theorizes Why Diddy’s Alleged Assault Footage Was Published

50 Cent shared a theory regarding the timing of CNN putting out the viral video of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie on Friday. The clip, which stems from 2016, shows the Bad Boy mogul seemingly grabbing his then-parter from behind, throwing her to the ground, and kicking her. Shortly after CNN published the video, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office put out a statement explaining that the statute of limitations on assault has passed and in turn, Diddy won’t be facing any charges.

50 shared the statement on Instagram, on Saturday, adding in the caption: “This is why they put that tape out, they know they can’t charge him with what we saw, but they know we can’t unsee what we saw.”

As for the D.A.’s statement, the office admits that the video is both “disturbing” and “difficult to watch,” but that they can’t do anything. It adds: “If the conduct depicted occurred in 2016, unfortunately we would be unable to charge as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted. As of today, law enforcement has not presented a case related to the attack depicted in the video against Mr. Combs, but we encourage anyone who has been a victim or witness to a crime to report it to law enforcement or reach out to our office for support from our Bureau of Victims Services.”

Diddy’s Former Assistant Wasn’t “Surprised” By Alleged Assault Video

Suzi Siegel, a former assistant of Diddy’s, says she wasn’t surprised by the video appearing to show him assaulting Cassie at a hotel in Los Angeles in 2016. Siegel sat down with CNN for an interview after the outlet published the footage on Friday. It shows Diddy seemingly throwing Cassie to the ground and kicking her violently.

Siegel worked with Diddy from 2008 to 2009. She noted that she “never saw him speak harshly to her or be abusive toward her or anything like that.” Despite that, she added: “I rode in limos with them, I went to parties with them. I guess what I would say is, even though I never saw anything that could corroborate what’s in that lawsuit and what we just saw, there was not one cell in my body that was surprised.”

She continued: “I would say that I was around him a lot and I got a feeling for who he was. I didn’t see anything that could get him in trouble. But I think that [there’s a] power dynamic in a situation like that — especially her, at the beginning of her career, so young and beautiful and talented.” Siegel concluded: “Obviously, I saw it with the rest of America today.
