Even Drake’s loosie will run it up on the charts. According to Billboard, Drake’s “Search & Rescue” made a No. 2 debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

The new single is Drake’s 35th top-five single and only was held off the No. 1 spot by Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night.”

EArlier this month, Dreamville had the Ace up their festival sleeve by announcing a co-headlining set of Drake and J. Cole. With those names already a headlining set, no one expected the surprises in store. Drake got us, though.

Cole introduced Drake to the Dreamville crowd, as Drizzy kicked things off with his Travis Scott collab “Sicko Mode” to start things off with high energy. Drake has some surprises of his own, though, as he not only performed a catalog of his best tracks but he brought out several surprise guests, including Lil Uzi Vert, Glorilla, 21 Savage, and Lil Wayne. The night wasn’t over, though, as J. Cole returned to the stage to say goodbye with a performance of his “Forest Hills Drive” track “No Role Modelz.”

You can see clips from the performance below.

Drake also gave a behind-the-scenes look at the show below.

Frank Ocean’s Streams Nearly Double Despite Poor Coachella Response

DSC

Although Frank Ocean’s performance at Coachella was widely panned, the singer’s streams are rising.

According to Billboard, Ocean’s daily on-demand streams in the U.S. doubled. The numbers are a 94% increase from 5.2 million to 10.1 million. The songs that saw the largest increase are “Pink + White,” “Nights,” and “Novacane.”

After what could be considered a disaster of performance during weekend one, Frank Ocean will not be back for the second run of Coachella. He will be replaced by the Rock group Blink 182.

Coachella released a statement regarding Ocean’s exit:

“Frank Ocean will not be performing at weekend 2 of Coachella.

“After suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1. Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity.

“On doctor’s advice, [Ocean] is not able to perform weekend 2 due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg.”

Frank Ocean also added a statement. “It was chaotic. There is some beautiy in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.

Frank Ocean Admits His Infamous Coachella 2023 Performance Was ‘Chaotic’ In A New Statement

For the past few days since last weekend, Frank Ocean’s headlining performance at Coachella 2023’s first weekend has remained on people’s minds. His set was a bit of a disaster, and later, reports surfaced that Ocean’s plan for the show had to be changed last-minute because he sustained an injury days before the performance. Then, it was confirmed yesterday (April 19) that Ocean is no longer scheduled to headline the upcoming second weekend of Coachella.

That news was confirmed via an official statement, and in that statement, Ocean reflected on his ill-fated first-weekend performance. In the statement, provided by an Ocean representative to Uproxx yesterday, Ocean said:

“It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”

The statement also included a message not directly attributed to Ocean. It offers some context about the situation, reading, “After suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity. On doctor’s advice, Frank is not able to perform weekend 2 due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg.”

Drake Takes A Double Dose Of Ls On His Sports Bets

Drake is one of the most prolific artists of our generation. Overall, he has given us a ton of amazing albums. Moreover, he is one of the biggest artists in the world. He is someone that has a ton of crossover appeal in the music world. Hip-hop heads love him. Pop fans love him. And the wine mom demographic loves him. Although some would say there is too much crossover appeal, others would attribute this to his greatness as an artist. Additionally, he has also made it as a sports ambassador.

Of course, we are talking about Drake and his role with the Toronto Raptors. We all know the man is a huge sports fan, and his Raptors get a whole lot of his attention. However, it should also be noted that the artist is a spokesperson for Stake, which is a crypto sports gambling website. Whenever Drake makes a bet, he shares it with his audience. Unfortunately, he has been taking a whole lot of Ls as of late, and that was certainly true with his latest parlay.

Drake Is Allergic To His Losses

In the video clip below, Drake addresses his fans, noting that he is distraught over his recent bets. Last night, he tried to get in on two parlays. In each one, he bet $75,000 with each parlay offering a payout of $800L and $568K respectively. However, he missed out on a couple of picks, which ultimately got him out of his cash. The artist even says that he felt a bit congested due to his L allergies. Unfortunately, allergy season appears to be in full swing for the artist. Only time will tell whether or not he can get back into the win column.

Sports gambling is one of those things that inspires a lot of confidence in sports fans. Most believe that they can hit on 100 percent of their parlays. However, if that were true, then payouts would be very minuscule. Needless to say, Drake may need to go back to the drawing board here. Let us know what you think of the artist’s bets, down below. Young Thug Offers A Rare Smile In Court

Young Thug has been in court for quite some time at this point. As many of you know, he is currently on trial in the YSL RICO case. Overall, Thugger is being accused of a plethora of accused crimes. In fact, the prosecution has painted the artist as some sort of criminal mastermind and mafia don. Although the artist has some of the best lawyers in the world, there is no telling what could end up happening in this case. After all, RICO cases can come with extremely long prison sentences.

If you have been following along with the case, you would know that the court proceedings have not been without antics. Consequently, there have been numerous delays and recesses. People have been making a scene in the court, and it always leads to confusion. Additionally, the trial is being filmed, which then leads to some of these moments going viral. This is bad for both the defense and the prosecution, who just want to get on with the trial. Needless to say, this could all take a while.

Young Thug Perseveres

However, Young Thug seems to be keeping a very positive attitude while in court. In the video above posted by OurGenerationMusic, Thugger could be seen smiling while talking to his lawyer. Overall, it is a very small gesture. However, it does show that Thug still has some positivity despite everything that is happening. Although, it should be noted that court didn’t go that smoothly yesterday. According to TheNeighborhoodTalk, calamity took place in the court as Lil Rod was taken away in handcuffs. Furthermore, there were other defendants who experienced the same fate. All sorts of chaos took place, and eventually, cameras had to be turned off.

It was yet another example of how this hasn’t exactly been the smoothest trial. Either way, we’re sure both sides of the equation would rather this just go on as normal. There is a lot at stake here, and there are a lot of people’s lives who are at stake. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the music world.

Calamity In The Court

The social media age has made it hard for many to keep their longevity in the game. However, Iggy has managed to keep herself going. As a direct consequence of her OnlyFans, you may have noticed that Azalea is posting a lot more thirst traps on her Instagram. Typically, Iggy Azalea will either pose in some lingerie or a bikini. Now that the weather is getting better, it seems like Iggy is choosing bikinis more often.

Iggy Azalea Gets Her Fans Riled Up
