Kanye West is easily one of the most legendary artists of all time. Overall, he has numerous classic albums and inspired some of contemporary rap’s biggest artists. Although his recent output has been polarizing, there is no doubt that fans still love Ye. While many stopped paying attention to him following his descent into Alt-Right indoctrination, others kept up with his output. This year, he dropped off Vultures 1 with Ty Dolla $ign. Meanwhile, Vultures 2 has remained in development without a release date in sight.

Unfortunately for hardcore Ye fans, Vultures 2 could be scrapped at this point. We say this because of some texts that Rich The Kid shared on social media. In these texts, RTK was speaking with Ye when the legendary artist dropped a bombshell. “I am retiring from professional music. Not sure what else to do,” Kanye West wrote. Overall, the artist sounded defeated in the text messages, and it remains unclear what prompted this decision.

Kanye West Reveals His Plan

It remains to be seen if Kanye will actually follow through on this. What we do know is that Ye is known to go back on his word. Furthermore, it’s clear that his fellow artists do not want him to retire. Immediately upon his revelation, Rich The Kid pleaded with him not to go through with it. For now, Ye’s retirement is simply a waiting game. The only way we know he’s lying is if he drops something new.

Today, however, Simmons has found herself in the crosshairs of social media yet again. This time, it is because she decided to help promote Slutty Vegan in Atlanta by bathing in a tub full of Oreos. Overall, it was a pretty bizarre display. After all, why would someone do this and how does it actually promote anything? Louis Vuitton Finally Dropping Exclusive Timberland Collaboration

Sneaker heads and luxe aficionados get ready for a new drop from Louis Vuitton x Timberland. LV just revealed that the hotly awaited collab with the iconic boot maker, Timberland will hit stores in less than a month. Already clamoring for one detail – how much? Keep reading for that tidbit.

The dope collection, is part of a broader workwear line designed by Pharrell Williams for the French luxury house, will be available for prelaunch on the LV website and app starting July 18, with a full release in select international boutiques set for August 8.

Crafted in Louis Vuitton’s prestigious footwear atelier in Fiesso, Italy, the new boots maintain Timberland’s classic silhouette but are enhanced with luxurious details characteristic of Vuitton.

Onto the price points … There are two main designs available in several styles, with prices ranging from €2,200 to €2,600 (approximately $2,400 to $2,800). This represents a significant premium over standard Timberlands, which typically cost around $198.

Design and quality are nothing short of top tier. The collab with Timberland features boots made from premium Italian nubuck leather, ensuring both luxury and durability. Each pair includes a padded collar, a soft footbed, and a rubber lug outsole for comfort and resilience. Additionally, the boots are waterproof and equipped with warm, down-free PrimaLoft insulation.

Get this, the LV 6 Boots are nearly identical to Timberland’s iconic six-inch boots but are embossed with Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram. Available in both wheat and black, these boots also feature a monogrammed tongue, LV eyelets, and leather tags. Another design, the LV Boot, enlarges the classic six-inch silhouette by 15 percent for a more striking and bold look.

For anyone who craves options, the new style comes in four variants: an ankle boot, a ranger boot, a pull-on mid boot, and a pull-on harness boot, all available in black and wheat.

For the super well to do fashion enthusiast, Louis Vuitton is also offering an “exceptional edition” of the LV 6 Boots, limited to just 50 pairs. These six-inch ankle boots combine monogrammed Italian leather with a custom rubber lug outsole and 18-karat gold hardware. The gold LV tongue initials are inscribed with the phrase, “The sun is shining on us,” a nod to a statement made by Pharrell Williams during his debut show for Louis Vuitton in June 2023. These exclusive boots are priced at €75,000 (approximately $81,000) and are presented in a luxurious leather and plexiglass box.

This Timberland collaboration is part of Pharrell’s Fall-Winter 2024 Men’s Show workwear capsule, which debuted in January. The collection explores the American Western roots of workwear through Louis Vuitton’s refined craftsmanship. In addition to the boots, the line includes ready-to-wear clothing and a limited-edition toolbox bag inspired by Louis Vuitton’s iconic Keepall 50. Wiz Khalifa Connects With Ryan Garcia AFTER Boxer’s Racist Rant; Faces Backlash

“Black and Yellow” rapper Wiz Khalifa faces widespread backlash after hanging tough with boxer Ryan Garcia just days after the fighter’s racist rant went viral.

Wiz and Garcia were caught dapping each other up at a bar before Wiz exchanged their contacts to apparently, keep in touch.

Social users were quick to jump on the moment:

“Wiz Khaikfa is officially a lame for this ,” wrote one user.

“Wiz has no code,” one person wrote in the comments, while another added: “Black people allowing this weirdo to use them as props ” 

Some were curious about Garcia’s mental state: 

“Sucks to see this cuz you can definitely tell he’s high af on drugs and not just weed. Hope this kid actually gets some help and makes a comeback fr ” 

And another user said: 

“He can’t stop moving and his hands are all over the place. He’s on some coke or meth. Dude is ready to run through a wall. It’s just sad to watch, it’ll get much worse before he gets better. Watch, you’ll see,”

ICYMI, on July 4, what a day to go viral for racism, the embattled 25-year-old, made headlines for all the wrong reasons after a series of wild rants where he repeatedly used the N-word and invoked the Ku Klux Klan. Full stop. Disgusting behavior on full display below:

“I hate n-ggas. I’m anti-Black,” Garcia, who is of Mexican heritage, said during an X Spaces broadcast. “I’m KKK, n-gga. I hate n-ggas […] Let’s go bring George Floyd back to life and kill that n-gga.”

The idiotically racist tirade went kept going on his personal socials “I love n-ggas” and “Lil Wayne said I can say the N Word.”

Even Garcia’s parents disavowed his comments and implored him to find help for his mental health issues. At first, Garcia did not even want to apologize but quickly back peddled on that stance offering now he will “take all responsibility for my words,” blah, blah blah. We not here for it. You showed the world who you are.

22-Year-Old Model Unleashes on ‘Married’ Kanye West For Allegedly Sending ‘Inappropriate’ DMs

Model Mikaela Lafuente just let Kanye West have it for allegedly sending her “inappropriate” direct messages on Instagram even though he’s married to Bianca Censori.

Recently Lafuente openly criticized West for inviting her to “hang out” and listen to his album. Lafuente, 22, shared screenshots of their chat and expressed her disapproval, emphasizing that “cheating is unacceptable.” Really? Pull up and listen to my album? If true, lame behavior. Sorry had to call it what it is.

Lafuente’s remarks come in the wake of lawsuits filed against West by former Yeezy employees, who accuse him of fostering a toxic work environment and failing to pay wages. 

Lafuente told the Daily Mail – you know they got the scoop – that she was surprised by West’s messages, noting that they had never interacted before. She found the Grammy award-winner’s approach inappropriate for several reasons, including the significant age difference—West is 47, more than twice her age.

“I don’t think it’s acceptable to be messaging other women when you’re married,” Lafuente said, highlighting the inappropriateness of the messages, especially considering West’s marital status. “It’s not acceptable and it’s something I’d stand behind forever.”

Get this, Lafuente further elaborated on her views regarding infidelity, stating, “I’ve grown up with all my family being with their partners forever and this is what I want for my relationship. Monogamy is what is accepted and cheating is unacceptable.”

The popular model also was curious if West might be sending similar messages to other women, despite his marriage to Bianca Censori. “If he texts other girls, I know I said no, but others might not. I do not support it,” Lafuente said. “Maybe they (West and Censori) have an agreement and Bianca knows about it and is cool with it, but we will never know this.”

Lafuente’s firm stance against infidelity and her decision to speak out against West’s behavior underscore her commitment to her principles regarding relationships and monogamy. If only more women and men felt the same then perhaps we’d have a less toxic society.

Pharrell Taps Another Longtime Collaborator, Pusha T, As The Latest Louis Vuitton Ambassador

Ever since being made the head menswear designer of Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams has made it a point to feature his famous friends and top collaborators in the company’s plans, both in front of the cameras and behind the scenes. His first Louis campaign prominently featured Rihanna, while both Clipse and Jay-Z appeared during his first Louis Vuitton fashion show. This year, he’s already collaborated on a collection with musical protégé, Tyler The Creator, and today, it was announced that Pusha T will be Louis Vuitton’s newest brand ambassador.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, a statement from the fashion house noted the two artists’ longstanding connection and praised Pusha’s “commitment to artistry” and “strong personal style.” It reads, “His ambassadorial nomination at Louis Vuitton is a testament to his commitment to artistry and a strong personal style, both echoing the maison’s own dedication to unique expression across fashion and culture.”

Clothing isn’t the only thing Push and Pharrell have been working on. Last month, Pusha told Vulture he and his brother (once again going by just Malice) have reunited as Clipse and have been recording a new album produced by Pharrell. The duo is also set to appear in Williams’ upcoming biopic, Piece By Piece which has been animated in the style of The Lego Movie.
