Cardi B Shuts Down Rumors of Georgia Home Foreclosure: ‘You Bum B****es Wish’

Cardi B Delivers New Video for "Enough (Miami)"

Cardi B sees parts of the Internet as praying about the downfall of her marriage, but she isn’t having it. Cardi responded to a Page Six article stating she was “fighting to make payments” on her Georgia mansion to dodge foreclosure.

“LMAOOO You bum bitches wish,” Cardi wrote online. “Me and Offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now it’s worth 7.

“Check the Atlanta market. And no, we not selling it… and if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my home? Hating bad.”

Additionally, the ongoing back and forth between Cardi B and Candace Owens is continuing, this time over the police murdering Sonya Massey in southern Illinois.

Speaking on the matter, Owens believed that Massey should not have been killed but suggested Black Americans “not take this bait” in protesting or calling out the police.

“Today she said something so disturbing about the Sonya Massey case,” Cardi B said. “For you to sit here and say that ‘Oh not everything is racial. I know that this is sad, but this is not something racial. There’s more white people that get killed by the cops.’”

“You don’t feel one little bit of empathy, a little bit of sympathy of how this woman died? There was no argument, there was no conflict, there was no raised voice, and she got shot.”

You can hear Cardi’s full comments below.

Cardi and Candace have exchanged words often in the past few weeks. Cardi B’s recent critique of Candace Owens’s stance on banning porn has sparked a heated exchange. The rapper denied the existence of porn addiction, prompting Owens to respond vigorously on her popular new podcast, Candace.

“Cardi B came for me again. I think it’s high time I clap back,” Candace says. “She doesn’t think about the addictions, especially for men who really suffer with pornography. I’m so glad that so many men listen to this show and in the comments talk about how much they struggle with pornography. They are more physiologically, psychologically, biologically-wired to have a response when you are producing nudity to them.”

Currently ranked #3 on Spotify’s podcast charts, Owens’ podcast has surged in popularity, trailing only Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson.

Owens, who has seen a resurgence in her influence despite past controversies, discussed the ongoing debate in a recent episode with Saagar Enjati on Breaking Points. Her podcast has dominated platforms like Apple, Spotify, and YouTube, showcasing her growing reach and impact in cultural and political discourse.

The clash between Owens and Cardi B underscores broader debates about societal norms and freedoms, particularly regarding media consumption and its effects. As both figures continue to voice their perspectives to millions of followers, their exchange highlights the intersection of entertainment, politics, and social commentary in today’s digital age.

‘Exposing Parchman’ Documentary Earns Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Writing

'Exposing Parchman' Documentary Earns Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Writing

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced that A&E Networks’ documentary “Exposing Parchman” has been nominated for the Outstanding Writing: Documentary category at the 45th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards. Produced by Roc Nation, Good Caper Content, and Red Summer TV, the documentary sheds light on the dire conditions of Mississippi’s Parchman Prison.

The prestigious awards ceremony is scheduled for September 26 at 7:30 pm ET at the Palladium Times Square in New York City. “Exposing Parchman” will be competing against notable nominees in the Outstanding Writing: Documentary category, including HBO | Max’s “Great Photo, Lovely Life: Facing a Family’s Secrets,” National Geographic’s “Nazis at Nuremberg: The Lost Testimony,” Frontline PBS’s “Netanyahu, America & the Road to War in Gaza,” and Apple TV+’s “The Pigeon Tunnel.”

Directed by Rahman Ali Bugg, “Exposing Parchman” delves into the brutal history of Mississippi’s correctional system and the appalling conditions at Parchman Prison. The documentary highlights Team ROC’s efforts, alongside multiplatinum musician Yo Gotti and several attorneys, to improve conditions and protect the incarcerated population. It features commentary from Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter, Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, Yo Gotti, and affected families, offering a rare glimpse into the prison’s interior.

The alarming conditions at Parchman Prison gained national attention in December 2019 after riots led to multiple deaths. Reports revealed inmates lacked access to clean water, adequate food, electricity, heat, healthcare, and other basic needs. These revelations prompted JAY-Z, Yo Gotti, and Team ROC to secure legal representation for over 200 incarcerated men, leading to lawsuits against the Mississippi Department of Corrections. The U.S. Justice Department’s subsequent investigation found the facility violated the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

“Exposing Parchman” continues to amplify the voices of those affected by the inhumane conditions, striving for justice and reform within the correctional system.

Lollapalooza 2024 Goes Green with Hybrid-Powered Main Stage and Expanded Sustainability Efforts

lollapalooza.jpg

Lollapalooza is thrilled to announce that this year’s Main Stage, sponsored by T-Mobile, will be powered entirely by a hybrid battery system, marking the first time a major U.S. festival has achieved this feat. In collaboration with Live Nation’s Green Nation initiative, T-Mobile, and CES Power, the hybrid-powered stage will utilize over 1.5 MWh of battery storage capacity, significantly reducing the need for biodiesel generators and cutting down on fuel consumption and emissions.

“We have set a goal to build a more sustainable future for music festivals, which requires taking bold steps to find solutions that can reinvent how we operate and in turn, build industry trust in new technology so that major live events can see a path towards becoming more energy efficient,” said Jake Perry, Director of Operations and Sustainability at C3 Presents. “Lollapalooza is a leader in sustainable solutions, and we are proud to have aligned ourselves with partners that have the same passion and experience to execute this mission.”

“Solutions like the ones Lollapalooza are pioneering not only contribute toward our global Green Nation goal of cutting our emissions in half by 2030, but they provide local benefits as well through reduced noise and air pollution which creates a better experience overall for the artists, fans and crew,” said Lucy August-Perna, Head of Global Sustainability at Live Nation. “We look forward to sharing the results and learnings from Lollapalooza with our network of over 200+ festivals around the world who are committed to raising the bar for more sustainable live events.”

The festival’s 2024 edition will also spotlight conservation efforts through a new partnership with Re:wild, an organization co-founded by renowned conservation scientists and Leonardo DiCaprio. Re:wild
will engage with festival-goers to promote plant-based diets as a crucial step toward reducing biodiversity loss and ecosystem destruction. To support this initiative, Lollapalooza has expanded its plant-based food options with the introduction of Plant Base, a dedicated food court featuring a variety of vendors serving entirely plant-based meals.

As a recipient of the Illinois Sustainability Award, Lollapalooza continues to integrate sustainable practices throughout Grant Park. These efforts include comprehensive recycling and composting programs, the use of eco-friendly service items at Chow Town, and the provision of free, filtered water at Hydration Stations. The festival also employs the TURN reusable cup system to minimize single-use plastic waste and relies on biodiesel for all generators and equipment. Additionally, Lollapalooza funds renewable energy projects through carbon offset purchases.

Lollapalooza 2024 kicks off this Thursday at Grant Park in downtown Chicago, featuring performances by SZA, Tyler, The Creator, blink-182, The Killers, Future X Metro Boomin, Hozier, Stray Kids, Melanie Martinez, and Skrillex, among many others. Limited tickets are available at www.lollapalooza.com.

Fans can stay updated by signing up for the Lollapalooza SMS and Email Lists and following the festival’s social media accounts. Lollapalooza is proudly supported by T-Mobile, Bud Light, IHG® Hotels & Resorts, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, BACARDÍ, Hulu, PayPal, Venmo, Toyota, BMI, and Lifeway Kefir.
