Cher Is ‘Proud’ Of Her Boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, Saying He Didn’t Start The Cannes Fight WIth Travis Scott But ‘Finished It’

Cher is generally unfazed by the criticism of her relationship with Alexander “AE” Edwards, a Universal Music Group executive who is 40 years younger than the 78-year-old impending Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2024 inductee. Cher is also unfazed by Edwards’ decision to fight Travis Scott and Southside at Cannes last month.

“I’m Proud of Alexander,” Cher wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, June 1, and yes, Cher’s erratic capitalization remains unedited for effect. “He Didn’t Start The fight Against 2 Men,… He finished it, Gotta Love Him.”

TMZ reported the physical altercation, complete with grainy video footage, and cited unnamed witnesses who claimed that Edwards “was the instigator, as he ran up on stage and initiated physical contact” with Scott at Richie Akiva’s annual amFAR The After party on May 23. Last week, TMZ caught up with Edwards at Los Angeles International Airport, where Edwards (sort of) clarified what actually happened.

“Shout-out Southside,” Edwards said. “That’s my n****. I know he was defending his boy and doing what he was supposed to be doing as his boy. I don’t got no hard feelings. It is what it is. It went how it went. That’s it.”

Edwards explained that he “doesn’t wanna fight” and denied initiating but acknowledged “I’m gonna protect myself and my people.” He also assured any concerned fans that Cher was not upset, using Future and Metro Boomin’s “GTA” as a reference point when describing Cher’s reaction: “Like Future say, ‘Whatever I’m with, my b*tch with it, too.’ My woman, but the lyrics are the lyrics.”

TMZ’s original report relayed that “the fight started after both Travis and Tyga were on stage behind the DJ booth,” and Scott appeared to become upset after Richie Akiva told the crowd, “We got T-Raww, AE, and Travis in the building” — “possibly a Kylie Jenner exes thing.” Edwards is a close friend of Tyga’s.

When Does Eminem’s ‘The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)’ Come Out?

With the release of his new single “Houdini” in the rearview, Eminem fans are now looking forward to the release of his upcoming album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce). Em announced the album in late April after teasing fans with a phony album announcement to start the month — April Fools!

So, when is Eminem’s new album, The Death Of Slim Shady, scheduled for release?

Although no formal release date has been given as yet, Eminem did give a release window, “Summer 2024.” That means that the album could be out as early as this month, and as late as September. However, Eminem has made the album available for pre-order for “one week only” as a limited-edition digital release with an exclusive bonus track. You can pre-order the album on Eminem’s website.

In addition to releasing his twelfth studio album this year, Eminem had previously announced plans to produce a documentary about stan culture — although it seems that it’ll be specifically about Eminem fans rather than the larger phenomenon. Fans looking for new music from their hero received a new song, as well, in the form of “Doomsday 2,” which appeared on the Lyrical Lemonade album, All Is Yellow, with a video featuring a slew of artists he’s inspired over the years, including Big Sean, Cordae, Denzel Curry, JID, and Teezo Touchdown.

Sukihana Clarifies What She Meant When She Said She “Sold Her Soul”

Sukihana is an artist who has exploded in popularity over the last couple of years. Overall, she has blown up thanks to the recent wave of raunchy rap that is extremely sexual in nature. Her and Sexyy Red are at the top of this lane right now, and fans have grown acustom to their outlandish lyrics. Sure, she might be polarizing, but if you want to be successful in 2024, that’s kind of the cheat code. Having said that, it hasn’t always been easy for Suki.

In a video posted to her social media in 2019, the artist was ready to quit music altogether. In fact, she came out and said that she had signed a horrible record deal and that she had ultimately sold her soul. Selling ones soul is a concept that has existed forever, and there is debate around what it actually means. Well, in an interview with Math Hoffa on My Expert Opinion, Suki got to clarify her statement. Essentially, she just meant that she was in a bad deal that didn’t give her ownership over her own work.

Sukihana Speaks To Math Hoffa

“I was in a street, hood contract,” she explained. “I was in a bad contract. That’s what I meant, but people take it out of proportion. I feel like if you do sign a contract and you don’t own a lot of your stuff, I feel like that’s selling out, that’s selling your sold.” Suki then went on to say that she is no longer in this deal. Instead, she is doing well for herself, and is excited to move forward with her current career. It’s always good to see an artist win, and we hope Suki is able to have continued success.

Let us know what you think of these comments, down below. Do you believe that the music industry is as predatory as some artists describe? Sexyy Red Clarifies She’s Not Endorsing Donald Trump After MAGA Hat Backlash: “I’m My Own Candidate”

Sexyy Red says she isn’t interested in endorsing any candidates in the 2024 Presidential Election after facing backlash for reworking Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan. During recent sets at the Roots Picnic music festival as well as the Dreamville music festival, she performed with a massive MAGA hat on stage, while swapping the word “great” out for “sexyy.” After fans began to interpret it as support for the former president, Sexyy clarified her stance on X (formerly Twitter).

“It’s Sexyy Red 4 President 🇺🇸 I’m my own candidate I’m not endorsing anybody period,” Sexyy wrote. Fans praised her for the move. “Thank you for standing ten toes and not changing for these people,” one user replied. Another wrote: “Thank you for clearing the air.”

While she’s not taking a stance currently, Sexyy did endorse Trump during an interview with Theo Von on the This Past Weekend podcast, last October. “I like Trump,” Sexyy said at the time. “They support him in the hood. At first, I don’t think people was f**king with him. They thought he was racist, saying little s**t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Awe, baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office.” Check out her latest stance on Trump below.

Sexyy Red Speaks On The 2024 Presidential Election

Sexyy’s post comes after Trump became the first former president to be convicted of felony crimes. Last week, he was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in New York in an attempt to illegally influence the 2016 election. He still plans to run against Joe Biden in the upcoming election. Be on the lookout for further updates on Sexyy Red on HotNewHipHop.

Pat McAfee Under Fire For Calling Caitlin Clark A “White B*tch” And Claiming The Treatment She Receives Is Racially Motivated

The Caitlin Clark discourse continues to devolve and has become something of a toxic subject. Pat McAfee has now thrown his hat into the defense team for Caitlin Clark in a wild rant on his ESPN show. It was inevitable that Pat McAfee would talk about the incident on his TV program as soon as it was revealed that he was there at Saturday’s Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky game, which saw Sky player Chennedy Carter push Fever guard Caitlin Clark to the ground. McAfee attacked unidentified WNBA players and the media, defending Clark’s status as the lone superstar in the rookie class for about ten minutes. He used the terms “cash cow” and “one white b—- who is a superstar” to emphasize his points.

McAfee began the show by talking about how Clark has been the target of a lot of trash talk from players on other teams. He had a message for the sports media and former WNBA players. “There seems to be this notion that this whole evolution of success and popularity in the WNBA is because of this entire rookie class. I think there’s a chance Chennedy Carter thinks [Sky rookie forward] Angel Reese deserves all this credit. The media talks about how it’s the entire class,” McAfee said. He says that there is only one person in the rookie class who matters, and that is Caitlin Clark. He then went off the handle.

Pat McAfee Calls Caitlin Clark A “White B*tch”

The unexpected statement from McAfee came just as he was about to conclude the program, though. He said, “I would like the media people that continue to say, ‘This rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class’. Nah, just call it for what it is — there’s one white b—- for the Indiana team who is a superstar.” using that language crosses a very hard line. It doesn’t matter if it’s a compliment or meant as a positive, it is disrespectful. Fans have been going at Pat McAffee since he made the shocking statements. WNBA referees and anonymous critics were the targets of McAfee’s subsequent tirades.

The WNBA is a majority-black league, but there have been white superstars plenty in the WNBA both past and present. The Caitlin Clark situation has created a discourse chamber that benefits form people who don’t really care about women’s basketball getting riled up about Clark. Overall, if this continues at this rate, the WNBA season will keep devolving into these same toxic talking points.
