Drake has had it rough over the last few weeks. Overall, this is due to his beef with Kendrick Lamar, which saw him take a massive loss. In fact, one could say this was a worse loss than what happened with Pusha T. However, this is Drake we are talking about here. He is one of the biggest artists in the entire world, and people are always going to tune in, regardless of what is going on in his personal life. In fact, fans have been eager to see what his next move would be given everything that has happened.

Well, on Thursday night, fans got a glimpse at his newest chess move. As you can see down below, Drizzy gave Sexyy Red a feature on the track “U MY EVERYTHING” which comes off of her new EP In Sexyy We Trust. Interestingly enough, the song samples Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy.” Of course, Drake is using the beat as a way to get back at Metro while also reclaiming the production for himself. On the surface, it is a great strategic play, however, other fans are much more cynical.

Drake Raps Over “BBL Drizzy”

Online, there are plenty of people who like the verse. However, the detractors are a lot louder right now. “Drake rapping over BBL drizzy 3 weeks later with sexy red just proving he’s consistently corny and not as quick a thinking as his bars led yall to believe,” one person on Twitter wrote. “Kendrick got Drake so bothered bruh, then on a sexy redd song..his team is full of yes men. Because why would you even touch bbl drizzy. Nobody tells that man no,” said another. There were various other takes with similar sentiments. It seems for now, it is going to be difficult for Drake to impress the general public, at least for right now.

GRAMMY-nominated and chart-topping Jamaican artist Shenseea has just released her highly anticipated sophomore album, Never Gets Late Here, via Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records. The album, now available for streaming, features an array of special guest artists, including Wizkid, Coi Leray, Anitta, Masicka, and Di Genius, offering a vibrant mix of rhythms and genres that reinforce Shenseea’s distinctive sound.

Speaking about the creation of her new album, Shenseea shared, “This album was curated with timeless records that appeal to many cultures. The album opens with the stirring ballad “Face Lift,” showcasing Shenseea’s powerhouse vocals, which balance out her quickfire patois on tracks like “Hit & Run,” “Tap Out,” and “Na Na.”

[WATCH] Sean Kingston’s Mother Arrested During Raid At His Miami Home

Rapper Sean Kingston finds himself embroiled in yet another scandal. This time, his Miami home was raided, and his mother, Janice Turner, was arrested after a high-end electronics scam.

On Thursday morning, the usually serene neighborhood of Southwest Ranches was disrupted by a significant law enforcement presence. Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), including SWAT team members, descended on Kingston’s residence, located near Southwest 146th Avenue and 46th Street. The dramatic scene included a command center set up in the driveway and more than a dozen deputies on site.

According to Local 10, the raid stems from a civil complaint filed by Ver Ver Entertainment, a company that accused Kingston, 34, of partially paying for a 232-inch television and high-end entertainment system. Despite the installation, Kingston allegedly never completed the payment. The complaint, obtained from the Broward Clerk of Courts, details how Kingston exploited his celebrity status to obtain the system without paying in full.

Attorney Dennis Card, representing Ver Ver Entertainment, elaborated on Kingston’s modus operandi: “He basically has a sales pitch that he goes through to defraud people. He induces them into giving him really expensive things,” Card told Local 10 News. “We know that our property is inside this house right here, so as soon as the raid takes place we are going to have a crew of people in there to reassemble it and take it back to its rightful owner.”

Kingston’s name has been repeatedly linked to similar scams, particularly involving jewelers. His pattern of using his fame to secure valuable items without paying has made headlines multiple times, tarnishing his reputation in the process.

While Kingston himself was not seen at the property during the raid, his relatives, including his mother Janice Turner, were present. Turner, 60, was taken into custody on numerous fraud and theft charges. Authorities stated that her arrest was part of an investigation initiated earlier that morning in Dania Beach.

Kingston’s relatives declined to comment when approached by Local 10 News, maintaining a tight-lipped stance amid the unfolding legal drama.

The latest incident has sparked conversations within the hip-hop community and among fans. Many are expressing disappointment, noting how Kingston’s continuous legal troubles overshadow his musical career. The rapper, known for hits like “Beautiful Girls,” has seen his public image increasingly dominated by these controversies.

In response, Porsha has filed an emergency motion, seeking judicial intervention to permit filming in the home. Documents obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal that Porsha argues her ability to film in the mansion is “vital to her ability to sustain her income and employment.”

“There is no logical or rational reason as to why Husband now seeks to prohibit Wife from filming at the marital residence, other than in an attempt to retaliate against Wife and intentionally restrict her ability to earn a living and expand her career,” Porsha states in her emergency order dated May 20.

Porsha underscores the impact of Simon’s actions on her career. She claims that due to Simon’s “aggressively litigious behavior,” Bravo and Truly Original Production, the company behind RHOA, have advised her they will not proceed with filming unless the matter is resolved. This situation jeopardizes her successful return to the series and her income.

Porsha also asserts that Simon’s true intent is to prevent the disclosure of sensitive, private, or personal information. She has offered to avoid filming in areas personal to Simon, such as his bathroom, closet, and office, but Simon has remained uncooperative.

The Stakes for Porsha

Porsha’s motion emphasizes the importance of filming in her home to portray a realistic view of her life, which is crucial for her role as a reality TV star. She argues that barring her from filming in the mansion is “neither reasonable, nor fair,” and significantly hampers her ability to earn a living.

The emergency motion demands that the court allow her to “film or produce television, film or social media or other visual content in or around the marital residence” immediately. As of now, the ruling on Porsha’s motion is pending.
