While Tamar thought the fan was looking down at her phone to read the lyrics, the fan denies this. She took to social media to defend herself, claiming that she was simply trying to record the exciting moment. Will Smith And DJ Jazzy Jeff Set To Reunite At Grammys Hip-Hop Tribute

The Grammy’s are continuing their 2023 celebration the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. All year many of the institutions that represent the genre and participants in its rise to fame have been paying tribute to its history. Even the Grammys themselves made a flashy tribute to rap earlier this year. During the 2023 Grammys, they gathered decades of hip-hop royalty together for a major performance celebrating the history of the genre.

Now, they have another tribute to the genre coming later this year and there’s once again a ton of talent involved. Headlining the group is Will Smith, returning to his Fresh Prince moniker to reunite with DJ Jazzy Jeff. The duo have a storied history with the Grammys being the first rap act to ever win an award from the academy and then the very next year becoming the first rap act to perform at the show. Will Smith Returning As “The Fresh Prince”

The massive Hip-Hop 50th anniversary special is being taped next week. Fans can watch it when it airs on CBS next month on December 10 at 8:30. The reunification comes during a turbulent time for Smith who hasn’t had much public profile since his notorious Oscars slap last year.

Smith has also been dealing with some of the public fallout from his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s new memoir. To promote the book she did a series of bombshell interviews revealing details about her and Will’s relationship and her history with 2pac. Offset & Quavo Commemorate Takeoff On The Anniversary Of His Death

It’s been exactly a year since the tragic and untimely death of Migos member Takeoff, and his former groupmates have taken to social media to honor him. Both Offset and Quavo shared heartfelt posts commemorating their late collaborator, who was shot and killed on November 1, 2022 in Houston. His murder continues to weigh heavily on his friends, family, and peers, namely Offset and Quavo.

Offset shared a touching black and white video of Take alongside a meaningful caption. “The times we spent is priceless what we built in this game they never wanted to give us our flowers we influenced the world,” he wrote. “I Love you Take you still here with us I just know you are!!!! Migo 4Life!!!!!!” The video is soundtracked by Takeoff’s song “Last Memory,” which comes from his first and only solo album, The Last Rocket.

Offset Says Takeoff Is “Still Here With Us”

Quavo posted a black and white photo of Takeoff, also accompanied by one of the late artist’s songs, “I Remember.” He quoted his fallen collaborator in his caption. “Can’t forget it won’t Forget It NEVER Forget it,” he wrote. “I Remember!” Quavo’s also been posting various photos, clips, and fan art of Takeoff on his story throughout the day.

It was reported last week that Takeoff’s alleged killer, Patrick Xavier Clark, is looking to chalk his shooting up to “self-defense.” According to his lawyer, Letitia Quinones-Hollins, Clark will maintain his innocence on trial. “We do believe that he has a valid self-defense claim,” she added. “I don’t think they can say with any degree of certainty that it was Patrick who actually fired the shot that took Takeoff’s life. There was someone else who started the shooting, it was not Patrick Clark.”
