SZA and Drake delivered an amazing collaboration with “Slime You Out,” just a couple of weeks ago. Overall, this song proved to be a huge success, with many lauding both artists for their vocal chops and even their lyrics. However, a lot of fans felt like a collab between these two would never happen. This is because of Drake’s bars on the song “Mr. Right Now,” which came out in 2021 on 21 Savage’s album, Savage Mode 2. “Yeah, said she wanna f— to some SZA, wait / ‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08,” he rapped on the song.
Interestingly enough, SZA turned 18 in November of 2008, which had some accusing Drake of dating an underaged girl. However, SZA noted on Twitter at the time that they dated in 2009. “So It was actually 2009 lol … in this case a year of poetic rap license mattered lol,” she explained. “I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait. Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm … it’s all love all peace.” Now, in a cover story with Rolling Stone, SZA is offering a few more details on what went down with her and Drizzy.
“We were really young,” the songstress explained. “It wasn’t hot and heavy or anything. It was like youth vibes. It was so childish.” So there you have it folks, there really wasn’t much going on there. This may be disappointing to some, although considering the details, it makes sense that they are on good terms. Hopefully, we get more collaborations between these two in the future.

Keefe D once admitted he was afraid of being jailed for his comments on the murder of 2Pac, months prior to his arrest in the investigation. The clip, which stems from an interview with The Art of Dialogue, has been resurfacing on social media after the latest updates in the case.
When asked about whether Big Dre was the one to pull the trigger in the killing, Keefe D dodged answering. “Them dudes was kids, man. Both of them dudes was kids back then,” he said at the time. “Dre was an All-CIF basketball player. He had a nice shot, dunking, all that shit. Dre was an athlete. He wasn’t about that.” From there, the interviewer pressed Keefe on the question. Getting flustered, Keefe answered: “Man. We don’t need to discuss that. We already discussed that. What are you trying to get me in jail again?”
Authorities Arrest Keefe D In Connection To 2Pac Killing
Keefe D has spoken openly about the killing of 2Pac in interviews with VladTV as well as The Art of Dialogue for years. He also released a memoir titled Compton Street Legend in 2019. In the wake of his arrest, many spoke out to criticize how long it took police to bring him in. Ice-T told AllHipHop that he doesn’t “really understand why it took law enforcement so long,” while arguing that “if I say that I’m in a car with somebody that does something, I’m part of the crime. If I go over to your house and ask you for a gun and you give it to me and I go do it, you aided and abetted the crime.”
Las Vegas police finally arrested Keefe D on September 29. He will appear in court for his arraignment on Wednesday, October 4. Be on the lookout for further updates on the case on HotNewHipHop.
Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher have had a fairly high-profile relationship since they first linked up. While they’ve experienced their fair share of ups and downs in the public eye, the Hip Hop star and model are still waxing strong. In fact, four years after they initially met each other, they’ve been declared as “relationship goals” by those who’ve closely followed their relationship.
Since the couple got together, they have not shied away from the press. Sometimes, the underbelly of their relationship is shown as well, and it can be either sad or aggravating. The hardships they’ve faced have often surfaced including Moneybagg Yo’s repeated infidelity and Ari Fletcher’s miscarriage. Despite the scars, they seem to always find a way to keep holding on.
In a 2022 interview with Paper Magazine, the pair detailed how their love story began in late 2019. They first crossed paths in an unlikely place: a mall, which made for a modern-day Hip Hop Cinderella story of sorts. Moneybagg Yo saw Ari Fletcher but did not approach her right away. She piqued his interest but he took it upon himself to find out who she was. Soon after, Moneybagg Yo got to work, reaching out to mutual friends and whosoever he felt might have known her.
He told the people he reached out to that he wanted to make sure Ari attended an upcoming party that was being thrown in Atlanta. Things fell into place and Fletcher came to the party. Once she arrived, Moneybagg Yo found his way to the section she was in and finally felt ready to shoot his shot. Evidently, it was successful, as the two have been inseparable since they got together. In the interview, Ari Fletcher joked about Moneybagg Yo “stalking her since.”
Before Ari Fletcher and Moneybagg Yo started dating, they had recently come out of two high-profile relationships. Moneybagg Yo had previously dated rapper Megan Thee Stallion at the beginning of her career. Ari Fletcher, on the other hand, was with rapper G Herbo. Fletcher’s relationship ended with Herbo quite badly, as she accused Herbo of physically assaulting her. G Herbo eventually pleaded guilty in the battery case and was later sentenced to 12 months of probation, along with 150 hours of community service.
In the early stages of their relationship, Moneybagg Yo and Ari were pretty tight-lipped. They were simply spotted together a number of times, which subsequently led to dating rumors. The two neither confirmed nor denied the claims though. At least, not until Moneybagg Yo confirmed that the dating rumors were, in fact, true in an interview with TT Torrez on Hot 97.
The following two years of the couple’s relationship were filled with cute, enviable moments. They became a big part of each other’s lives and were seen together on many different occasions. Ari and Bagg also spared no opportunity to express their love on social media, as evidenced by the expensive gifts that they shared with one another. For Moneybagg Yo’s 30th birthday in 2021, Fletcher gifted the rapper over 28 acres of land. Moneybagg Yo’s also gained a reputation for lavishly spoiling Fletcher on her birthdays.
While the couple’s relationship is admirable for its longevity, it has not been all glossy. Since they first began dating, they’ve been at the center of breakup rumors on multiple occasions. In some of those instances, they were even confirmed to have separated.
In late January 2021, Fletcher confirmed they had broken up, claiming the rapper broke her heart. The separation was short, though, and the very next month, they were back together. However, in August 2022, Fletcher took to X (formerly Twitter) to post that she was “Happy, paid and single!”
The post was made following cheating allegations against Moneybagg Yo. He has since confirmed that he indeed cheating, but expressed his remorse and regret for messing things up with Fletcher. In an interview with Angie Martinez shared on June 1, 2023, Moneybagg Yo opened up about cheating on Ari Fletcher multiple times. They have reconciled yet again, and are now back together.
The couple have had quite an eventful relationship since they started dating in 2019. Despite the fact that it’s been a bumpy ride, however, their relationship has remained intact for the most part. 2023 has been pretty calm for the couple, as there have barely been any negative rumors or drama surrounding them. Perhaps they’ve taken a page out of their earlier moments and are keeping things private.
There are not too many more people from the United States who can say they have more money than Michael Jordan. We knew this already for many reasons. He possibly has the greatest NBA career of any player to ever lace them up. The Air Jordan and Jordan brands sell thousands upon thousands of shoes and other apparel year in and year out. Because of this unprecedented success, Jordan can now be considered among the wealthiest people in America. Forbes announced it and TMZ Sports shared the news, so let us see how rich the icon is.
But, before we spill the beans, what pushed him to reach this incredible feat? Well, just a few months ago, Michael Jordan was a majority stake owner of the Charlotte Hornets NBA franchise. In fact, he was in the organization for 13 years. Even though he has been heavily criticized for the Hornets’ rosters and draft picks, His Airness still managed to increase the team’s worth. He purchased them for $275 million, according to SI, and flipped it to a whopping $3 billion.
After he sold the team to Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall in June, that would undoubtedly push him to crack Forbes’ top 400 list of the wealthiest Americans. His new net worth is $3 billion as well, which is good for the 379 richest person in the states. This, of course, makes him the most affluent athlete of all time and the only one to be a part of this high honor. TMZ Sports also says to reach the top 100, your net earnings need to be around $9 billion. We are sure he can eclipse that as well, given his makeup and drive.
What are your initial thoughts on Michael Jordan eclipsing a net worth of $3 billion? How much further do you think he could climb up the list of the 400 wealthiest Americans? Will anyone come close to his mark? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Michael Jordan, as well as the rest of the sports world.
SZA revealed that she had been in a long-term relationship with her high school sweetheart, but after breaking up, had a few casual romances — including with Drake in 2009. However, she says, “It wasn’t hot and heavy or anything. It was like youth vibes. It was so childish.” She credits this to both being “really young,” with Drake just starting to see his big breakout in the wake of his mixtape So Far Gone and SZA a year out from high school graduation trying to settle on a college (she eventually went with Delaware State, but dropped out in her last semester). And although the two didn’t connect in a more meaningful way, she did say last year that, “We’re cool. And we’ve always been cool… I think highly of him…He’s King Drake.”
Record Store Day has unveiled the titles that they will be releasing for Black Friday 2023, just next month on November 24. Among the pressings, there are a few key titles that fans will be hoping to get their hands on.
Here’s what to know.

Another RSD First release, Post Malone‘s The Diamond Collection will be available on clear vinyl.

Joni Mitchell’s Court And Spark Demos exclusive vinyl will include the never-before-heard recordings made during the album’s creation process.

Some artists covered here are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
Record Store Day has been an annual tradition dating back to 2007. Originally started to celebrate (and potentially save) endangered independent record stores, it has since become an unofficial holiday for vinyl collectors and music lovers. Think Free Comic Book Day, but for fans of Amy Winehouse or Miles Davis instead of Batman and Spider-Man.
However, unlike Free Comic Book Day, Record Store Day happens twice a year: Once in April, and again in November — the day after Thanksgiving, in fact. You may know it as “Black Friday,” the day retail employees dread and early Christmas shoppers anticipate every autumn, when stores slash prices to clear stock for the coming new year. According to the official Record Store Day website: “Record Store Day and RSD Black Friday are different events” and the latter is an effort to “promote brick-and-mortar indie record stores in the face of a shopping frenzy.” The big difference is that “stores will launch the special releases on RSD Black Friday but may choose to carry them throughout the holiday season.”
What Day Is Record Store Day Black Friday 2023?
Thanksgiving falls (heh) on Thursday, November 23 this year, so naturally, Black Friday is November 24.
As far as what special edition releases are dropping next month, you can check out a list here. To find out if your local record store is participating, you can check here.
