Cardi B says that she’s not interested in making music about her “pain” or “struggles” and instead wants it to “just be about fun.” She discussed the idea of handling more serious topics during an interview on Complex’s Hot Ones.

“A lot of people tell me I should put my pain, my struggle, in my music,” Cardi began. “A lot of my pain, or struggles, or whatever the crap is going on, the masses might not be able to relate. The masses might not be able to relate. Like it’s like, oh my gosh, they’re tearing a new asshole on Twitter on me because I said this, this, and that.”

Le’Keian Woods’ Family Demands Justice Following Violent Police Confrontation

Recently, there’s been a clip of 24-year-old Le’Keian Woods going viral, showing his violent encounter with Jacksonville police. In the video, Woods can be seen getting held on the ground by various officers. Though it’s hard to tell how he sustained them, severe injuries can also be seen on Woods’ face. Now, Woods’ cousin has shared the video in hopes of getting justice for the alleged police brutality.

“Attention followers‼” she wrote. “My cousin was brutally attacked by THE GANG MEMBERS THAT ARE IN CHARGE OF ‘PROTECTING OUR CITY’ @jaxsheriff He is currently hospitalized and JSO isn’t allowing him to speak to any family because they know they have committed an act of brutality! I can’t think of any situation that would warrant an OFFICER to kick someone in the face while they are CUFFED on the ground! PLEASE SHARE, REPOST, AND TAG ANY OUTLET YOU THINK COULD HELP!”

Le’Keian Woods Hospitalized After Traffic Stop

Woods’ family claims that he, his uncle, and a friend were pulled over for not wearing seatbelts, but it’s unclear how the situation escalated from there. After his injuries were sustained, he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was then brought to Duval County Jail. He’s currently being held there for various charges, including resisting an officer. He’s also charged with armed drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and more.

The Jacksonville Police Department has since shared a statement on the situation with First Coast News. “Yesterday, JSO officers were involved in an incident near Toledo Road and Powers Avenue in which force was used taking a subject into custody. The agency takes all allegations of inappropriate use of force by JSO officers seriously. As such, this incident is now under administrative review to determine if the involved officers violated any JSO policy. Because the matter is currently under investigation, the agency cannot comment further about the incident until the investigation is completed.”

Latto celebrated the release of her new song, “Issa Party,” alongside Waka Flocka at Magic City in Atlanta. The new tracks interpolates Focka’s 2010 classic, “Grove Street Party.” A video from the celebration is currently circulating on social media and features the two sharing a laugh while tossing money up in the air.

Latto doesn’t appear to be as friendly with everyone in the industry, as she targets her haters on the new song. “Bitch I’m red, not green, little hoe stop playin’ with me/I hate borin’ bitches, they be throwin’ off my energy/Stop callin’ me sis little hoe, you know you ain’t no kin to me!” she raps on the track. Later she adds: “Bitches love to hate, say it’s fake, but I’m real thick/N-gga playin’ cray, loose screw, I call Drill quick!”

Latto previously discussed the animosity within girls in hip-hop during an interview with Variety on Thursday. “It is a competition at the end of the day,” she said. “People want to be all, ‘I’m a girl’s girl,’ but then behind the scenes being bitches. Basically, we here, the girls, are doing amazing. I’m excited to see it. According to this post, they got pregnant around the same time. It’s unclear exactly how far along each of them is, but regardless, the proud father was sure to celebrate with a dancing video.

While some supporters are dropping their congratulations in the comments sections, others remain critical of the performer’s controversial lifestyle. It’s no secret that he’s kept himself surrounded by multiple women for some time now, but some are concerned about how that will translate into creating a family. He already has children from previous relationships, however, so this is nothing new for the 31-year-old. Finesse2tymes had been juggling three girlfriends until the beginning of this month, when one of them was unfortunately “eliminated.”

He posed alongside the two remaining women in an Instagram photo, sharing the news of the breakup. “She was [talking too] much, got eliminated,” he wrote. “I told [you], don’t speak on what [you] saw 🙇🏽‍♂️.” Shortly after revealing the news of his girlfriends’ pregnancies, some social media users warned him that he’d go broke trying to pay child support. He later took to his Instagram Story to address their concerns, revealing that he’s actually living off of Supplemental Security Income due to a disability.

“Mane i don’t know why people keep saying I’m about to be on child support 2x,” he told followers. “I get a SSI check, I get disability, If y’all ain’t figured out by now that I need help something wrong.
