R. Kelly is calling out his longtime friend being blocked from visiting him at FCI Butner prison. Kelly states his friend and former business manager Derrel McDavid attempted to visit him, but the warden would not allow it.
McDavid was a co-defendant with R. Kelly in his Illinois criminal case. The charge they jointly faced was dismissed.
According to Radar Online, McDavid was accused of coordinating hush money payments before the 2008 trial.
A motion filed in court reads, “Mr. McDavid and Mr. Kelly have maintained a longstanding friendship and business relationship spanning decades before Mr. Kelly’s incarceration.”
The warden declined the visit stating McDavid was a co-defendant. Representatives for Kelly added, “FCI Butner’s denial of visitation was inconsistent with Bureau of Prison (“BOP”) regulations and policies, patently unreasonable, and advanced no legitimate penological interest.”
He added, “FCI Butner’s determination is patently unreasonable, capricious, and inconsistent with the directives and policies of the federal regulations. There is absolutely no risk—let alone a reasonable one—that a visitation by Mr. McDavid would create a threat to the security and good order of the FCI Butner.”
Previously, audio from prison has R. Kelly referencing the harsh conditions of his prison. In the audio, Kelly stated he deserves to die of natural causes. The singer is reportedly battling blood clots in his legs.
“I don’t deserve to die because somebody miscommunicated or somebody took a guess at what’s going on with my leg. I’m not supposed to die this way,” R. Kelly said. “You’re not even supposed to take a chance on that.”
He added, “And that’s why I’m speaking out on this because I’m scared for my life in that area. And who wouldn’t be? They treat animals better than that.”
One of R. Kelly’s victims, Faith Rodgers, who accused the singer of failing to disclose a sexually transmitted disease before sleeping with her, is demanding the jailed singer turn over medical information. Back in 2018, Rodgers sued the convicted singer in New York court. In her lawsuit, Rodgers said she met Kelly in 2017 after one of his shows in Texas. She was 19-years old at the time.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Rogers, who sued Kelly in 2018, asked a judge to help her obtain the information.
The victim wants Kelly to answer questions under oath about the date they met and how often they engaged in sexual relations. Further, she wants him to turn over a list of any financial institutions he has accounts in.
Rodgers also wants him to make a list of all credit cards he used from 2017 to 2019. The victim’s list of demands asks Kelly to state all the names of any medical professionals he used, state each and every hospital or clinic that he was a patient of from January 2017 to January 2019.
Further, she asked Kelly to admit he failed to tell her about his STD before having sex with her and that he forced her to engage in sexual acts without her consent.
Media mogul Tyler Perry recently offered a $100k reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Josiah Robinson— a close friend of Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure.
In a heart wrenching endearing post on his Instagram page—Perry pleaded for help. Perry wrote:
A few days ago I got an extremely heartbreaking phone call from my friend, Yvette Noel-Schure. Through her tears and grief she was telling me that in her home country of Grenada, a young man that was like a son to her was murdered. My soul ached as she shared that he was a young, gifted singer who was murdered because he was gay. My mind immediately went to Mathew Shepard, and all the other victims of racist, homophobic, antisemitic, xenophobic, senseless violence. This kid was 23, how is this ok? His mother is devastated. This pain is too common – the same pain of Marcia Williams, who I’ve been trying to help to find out what happened to her son Terrance in Collier County, Florida for years now. The pain of not knowing can be crippling. It’s the pain that my sister and I carry not knowing what truly happened to my 25-year-old nephew, who we were told hung himself in prison just 3 years ago. The pain of not knowing is truly gut-wrenching. So with that said, Yvette and I are offering a $100,000 dollar reward to anyone who brings forth information that leads to the conviction of the murderer of Josiah “Jonty” Robinson. Please pray for his mother and Yvette and all of those that loved him, as well as every family who has been impacted by senseless violence.

I pray you are at peace and that you are doing a Jab Jab waltz in Heaven. I miss your smile, your voice, your dancing feet. Method Man is a busy guy. Between acting, rapping, and just existing, there may be multiple reasons he can’t make every Wu-Tang Clan show. That’s the case with The Wu’s forthcoming trip to Greece.
With Meth missing the show, one fan reached out at first, asking for the Hip-Hop icon to reconsider:
“No method man means no real Wu. Please think again and make an exception. I know the reasons behind your absence and i totally understand but think about the fans also. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see all 9 Wu-Tang together. I was waiting my whole life for this. Please don’t do this to us!!!!! Love you!”
And then it went south as the fan blasted Method Man, showing where he dropped the n-word on him within the run of insults.
“You know what mr. Meth FUCK YOU, uou could at least read it. You don’t care about your fans, only thing you care is money, pussy ass n-gga. Get the fuck outta here you clown. I hope you make nothing but failures from this point on …. Bitch ass nigga. FUCK YOU!!!””
The class act that Method Man is, kept it cool: “Gotta love the fans I’m pretty sure someone will say I’m wrong or that I’m bullying for posting this, but if I didn’t, you all wouldn’t believe me.. I mean, he even used the N-word . and this is after professing his love for Wu-Tang I can’t make this up. With that being said, I’m sending love and light to this young man.. @pskopelitis“
