Bryce James Lights It Up During EYBL Showcase: Watch

Bryce James just came off of his sophomore season with Sierra Canyon. Overall, it was his first season with the varsity team. Moreover, it was his first opportunity to play with his big brother, Bronny. Now, Bronny is presumably going to go the college route. Meanwhile, Bryce is going to be entering his Junior year of high school. At 15 years old, Bryce has proven to be an impressive young star with a lot of hype behind him. Although some people think he will be better than Bronny, there is no predicting how the younger James brother will fair as he gets older.

That said, all eyes were on him this weekend. Bryce James was in Phoenix as part of an Elite Youth Basketball League showcase. Overall, these showcases are a great way for young stars to show off their talents. The best high school players in the country can be found at these events, which means it is a good test of how solid of a prospect someone is. Subsequently, all eyes were on Bryce during his time in Phoenix. After all, he is the son of LeBron James and the younger brother of one of the biggest NBA prospects in the world.

Bryce James Is Impressing Scouts

As you will see above in the post from @slam_hs, Bryce was having himself a day. He showcased his handles, while also displaying an amazing ability to shoot and score the basketball. Overall, this is exactly what the scouts want to see. Furthermore, Bryce James is already 6’6″ which is huge for a 15-year-old. Once he gets a feel for his size, there is no doubt that he will be able to dominate the game. For the most part, the commenters in the post above agree with this assessment.

Regardless, Bryce is just 15 and he still has a lot of development to do. It is impossible to say for sure what kind of prospect he will be. Some believe he will be better than Bronny, however, that is not a guarantee. Either way, he is fun to watch, and Sierra Canyon is poised to be great next year. Chris Brown Posts Photo With Pharrell

Chris Brown is showing off his friendship with Pharrell in a new photo posted on Instagram. Brown showed up for a surprise performance at Pharrell’s Something In The Water festival. The festival, which took place in Virginia Beach, had an impressive lineup of performers over three days. Brown was one of many surprise guests that showed up. Pharrell joined him on stage at one point while he performed some of his hit songs.

The iconic producer praised Brown for his many talents and artistic accomplishments over almost two decades. Pharrell introduced him as the “dancing-est, singing-est, craziest video-making singing dude in R&B and pop music until now.” He went on to say that Breezy needed to be shown more appreciation. “Make some noise for our brother. Came all the way over here to make this happen,” Pharrell said. “Make some noise for Virginia’s own, Chris Brown! Lil bro, listen, there’s only one you. There’s only one you. Give this man his flowers again, make some noise for Virginia’s own! “

Breezy Just Wants To Be Appreciated

During Chris Brown’s performance, he showed gratitude towards Pharrell and the audience for their love and support. Still, he still doesn’t have any plans to make regular appearances at these types of events. Brown stated recently that he is not interested in performing in the United States anymore. When a fan commented on his Instagram to ask when he would perform at the Super Bowl, Breezy said he does not want to perform for an audience that does not appreciate him. “Never shawty. American media AINT FA me,” he wrote. “Rather be where I’m welcomed.”

Of course, it’s really no question why Brown isn’t “welcomed” here. There is a long list of things that the singer has done, any single one of which would be enough to ruin most people’s careers. Some haven’t paid Breezy’s personal life much attention since he horrifically assaulted Rihanna. However, his more recent actions have shown that he hasn’t changed at all. “Stop acting like a 5-year restraining order isn’t a big deal, stop acting like being a colorist isn’t a big deal. Just say I know he has violent and problematic ways however, I still choose to support him,” one Twitter user said. “And in all honesty thats the issue. Y’all don’t want to say that because you know how it sounds so y’all rewrite history and lie about his ways in order to feel justified in your support of him. It’s ok.”

Lil Durk & J. Cole Film Music Video For Upcoming Collab

Lil Durk wasn’t lying about his upcoming collaboration with J Cole. The Chicago-bred rapper’s gearing up for the release of his next album, which is supposedly going to drop soon. A promising sign of its release came in the form of behind-the-scenes footage from his upcoming music video with J. Cole. Lil Durk took to Instagram to breed hype for the record with photos alongside the Fayetteville, NC rapper. “I’m sorry for the wait I’m still healing s/o my dawg Jcole #almost healed,” he captioned the post alongside palm emojis.

The confirmation comes a month after Durk initially announced the project. The “Laugh Now Cry Later” rapper told Rob Markman at Dreamville Festival that he and J. Cole already locked in for a record. However, some felt it might be a joke since Durk let the news slip on April Fool’s Day. Clearly, that’s not the case, as the photos show. The two rappers are surrounded by children without any security in sight. No word on when the single might land but it’s a promising sign that Durk will arrive by the summer.

Lil Durk & J Cole Prepare New Single

At this point, it seems likely that Durk’s forthcoming effort will include some heavy hitters. With Cole confirmed as a feature, Lil Durk hinted that Drake would land on the project, which isn’t surprising considering their rapport over the past few years. However, he also teased an upcoming collaboration with Kodak Black, too. Beyond that, not much else is certain about Durk’s album feature-wise but we could imagine that a reunion with Lil Baby is likely.

Meanwhile, there’s no clear sign that J. Cole will be releasing a new project this year. In 2020, he confirmed that he had two projects to follow The Off-Season including It’s A Boy and The Fall-Off. However, he’s yet to confirm a release date for either of these projects. Most recently, he and Dreamville executive produced the soundtrack for Creed III. Cole also contributed to the soundtrack. Air Jordan 4 “Red Cement” Gets New Photos

One of the best Jumpman models ever made would have to be the Air Jordan 4. This is one of those shoes that is impossible to deny when it comes to importance. Overall, it was the second Jumpman shoe designed by Tinker Hatfield. Moreover, it is one of those sneakers that fans continue to adore. Although it is timeless, there are some who feel like too many colorways are being created. However, on the flip side of this, the vast majority of sneakerheads want to continue seeing new models on the market.

Throughout 2023, there have already been a decent amount of teasers online. Subsequently, we have seen a whole lot of hype for each new release. The releases are slowly starting to be rolled out on the market. Although, there are still plenty of models scheduled for later in the year that have yet to be officially revealed. Thankfully, Instagram accounts like @zsneakerheadz have been able to provide some preliminary imagery. Today, that is exactly what we got for the “Red Cement” Air Jordan 4.

As you can see from the IG post above, this is a shoe that takes an iconic colorway and adds one extra element to change it up. Overall, this is going to be polarizing due to everyone’s love of the original. Either way, it makes for a nice and clean shoe. Firstly, the sneaker is covered in nice and clean white leather. Secondly, we get some red all throughout the shoe, particularly on the midsole, back heel, and then the sides. Lastly, black is placed throughout the sneaker as well to create some contrast. This all comes together beautifully to create an Air Jordan 4 that a lot of people will be proud to wear.

When it comes to the release date of this Air Jordan 4, it is believed that it will come out on August 12th. Overall, this is great news, with the retail price at $210 USD. Frank Ocean Fan Hit With Cease-&-Desist Over Unofficial Coachella Concert Film

Coachella has sent a cease-and-desist letter to a fan of Frank Ocean who edited together over 150 videos of the elusive singer’s latest set at the festival to make an unofficial concert film. The fan, Brian Kinnes, recently sat down for an interview with Variety, during which he revealed he combed through clips from different fans for over 80 hours of editing to finish the project.

Before receiving the cease-and-desist letter, he told Variety he didn’t think he’d face any legal action. “I’m not concerned with any legal repercussions because I do not plan on making a single penny from it,” Kinnes told the outlet. “I will continue to upload it in places that [Ocean’s] legal team will not be able to find. I don’t know if I should tell that to a reporter… but it deserves to exist online.”

Coachella’s parent company, AEG, now wants Kinnes to remove all references to Coachella from his website and all social media accounts. Kinnes says that despite demands to “take all actions necessary to preclude it from appearing under a different URL,” he is confident that “the video is going to be online forever,” as “hundreds of people were able to download it before everything got shut down, and those people are re-uploading it.”

“I’m just combining what’s already publicly available,” Kinnes said of the film. “Essentially, [AEG’s] claims are pretty frivolous and almost completely baseless.” He also says that he has no ill will toward Frank Ocean regarding the whole incident. “I do think that if Frank saw the video, he would have a certain level of appreciation for the way I captured the performance,” Kinnes said. “I don’t think he would have any issues with it.” Kinnes has since reached out to a legal consultant and believes AEG doesn’t have a legitimate case. “It feels like a massive overreach of power by a corporation that is struggling with their image,” he said.

Fans of the Air Jordan 1 have been extremely blessed over the last few years. Overall, this is a shoe that is always getting a plethora of new colorways. Although some people feel like this shoe is getting old, others see it as a timeless concoction. At the end of the day, this sneaker is simply never going to get old. It can go with pretty well anything, and it has been around for almost 40 years. Jordan Brand loves it, sneakerheads love it, and even casual consumers love it. Needless to say, this is the perfect storm.

Subsequently, there are going to be a lot of colorways of this sneaker dropping throughout 2023. We have already seen a lot of these models, however, a whole lot more will be making an appearance very soon. Consequently, new teasers are always hitting the internet. This is huge for a lot of people, especially women sneakerheads. We say this because Jumpman has been dropping more women’s exclusives than ever before. Overall, these models are fantastic, and they just keep on coming.

“Satin Bred” Air Jordan 1

According to @zsneakerheadz, the next women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 will be the “Satin Bred” model. This shoe dropped back in 2016, although it is already getting a retro. Thanks to @fk.shane, we actually have some new photos of this “Satin Bred” model. Although, it is important to point out that the images are pretty rough. Either way, you can see how the shoe is made up of gorgeous satin materials. Firstly, the red makes up the toe box, back heel, and Nike swoosh, while the rest of the shoe is black.

As it stands, it is being said that this Air Jordan 1 will be released on October 18th. However, this could be subject to change as Jordan Brand has yet to actually announce anything. The daughter of Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Shaquil Barrett has died after drowning in a swimming pool. The pool was at a family home. The girl was two years old.

CNN notes police responded to a home in the Beach Park area of Tampa at 9:30 a.m. to reports of a child falling into the pool. The girl was not able to be revived at the hospital. Police have ruled out foul play.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released a statement:

“Today’s tragic news is heartbreaking for all members of the Buccaneers family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Shaq, Jordanna and the entire Barrett family during this unimaginably difficult time. While no words can provide true comfort at a time such as this, we offer our support and love as they begin to process this very profound loss of their beloved Arrayah.”

50 Cen’t television takeover is about to hit the next level. The G-Unit rapper hit Instagram to highlight the next step, G-Unit Studios.

Online, 50 Cent shared a massive new space, which he states is 985,000 square feet, and will serve as G-Unit studios.

“Well, would you look at here,” 50 said. “985,000 square feet. Can you say G-Unit studios?”

Recently, 50 Cent has signed on to executive produce the upcoming Television series Redemption Ink.

Through his production company G-Unit Films & Television, the ‘In Da Club’ rapper is contributing to the new unscripted show. The show, which will follow former gang and hate group members as they get past body art altered into new, unrelated designs, is scheduled to be streamed on Hulu, according to Deadline.

“While sitting in the chair, (participants) will share their emotional stories with the talented tattoo artists devoted to giving them hope,” a summary reads.

A potential release date has not yet been announced.

A Woman Apparently Had A ‘Screaming,’ ‘Loud And Full-Body Orgasm’ At An LA Philharmonic Performance

On Friday, April 28, the Los Angeles Philharmonic delivered a performance of Tchaikovsky’s fifth symphony at LA’s Walt Disney Concert Hall. Also at Walt Disney Concert Hall at that time, it sure sounded like a woman in the audience had what has been described as a “loud and full body orgasm.”

Molly Grant, an attendee of the performance who was seated near the person supposedly behind the moment, told The Los Angeles Times, “Everyone kind of turned to see what was happening. I saw the girl after it had happened, and I assume that she […] had an orgasm because she was heavily breathing, and her partner was smiling and looking at her — like in an effort to not shame her. It was quite beautiful.”

Composer and music producer Magnus Fiennes was also in attendance and tweeted, “Went to see @LAPhil play @Thomasades and Tchaikovsky 5 last night. A woman in the audience had loud and full body orgasm during the 5th’s second movement… Band politely carried on. Props to LAPhil (and Pytor Ilyich) for bringing it on….”

Journalist Jocelyn Silver also tweeted, “friends who went to the LA philharmonic last night are reporting that in the middle of the show some lady had a SCREAMING orgasm, to the point where the whole orchestra stopped playing. some people really know how to live…”

Audio supposedly of the moment in question made the rounds on line, and the LA Times reports that attendees say the clip sounds like what they heard during the show.

The publication noted they haven’t been able to identify the person who made the sound, and that LA Phil representatives have not responded to their request for comment.
