The first Monday in May is the fashion industry’s biggest night, at least here in the United States. The annual Met Gala gives music’s biggest names to team up with a celebrated fashion house to make a bold statement. So far, several recording artists caused some buzz on the red carpet. For example, David Byrne opted to bike to the event rather than take a luxury car service. There are many looks to gush over, but none like Lil Nas X.

The “Industry Baby” rapper isn’t shy by any means. On several occasions, he’s taken part in racy photo shoots, including his recent Playboy-theme birthday shoot. However, Lil Nas X’s nearly naked 2023 Met Gala red carpet look takes the cake.

Covered in chrome body paint, pearls, and other gems, Lil Nas was a glamorized cross between the Wizard Of Oz’s tin man and X-Men’s Mystique. Sporting bejeweled whiskers, he ade a bold reference to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld, who is being honored at the event.

However, it wouldn’t be Lil Nas X if he didn’t take a moment to troll those around him. When approached by the media correspondents on the carpet, instead of answering questions posed to him. He leaned into the role of a cat, meowing at reporters, which is another nod to the late designer who had a deep love for his Birman cat Choupette.

On one hand, the City Girl rocked a ring of black fur around her shoulders, complimented by many pearl strings and a see-through black bottom dress. On the other, the Bad Boy mogul donned a black rose-accentuated cape and a striking black vest along with stylish shades. No matter their relationship status, they came with some regal looks to serve.

In fact, their rumored romance and relationship status became the center of La La Anthony’s conversation with them on the red carpet. Furthermore, she asked Diddy, “Do y’all officially go together real bad?” as Yung Miami stood by her side. As Sean Combs gave his answer, he stumbled on his words and playfully told her, “I don’t know what you’re asking.” Not only that, but at one point he asked for a cloth to wipe his face with, whether the heat was causing his sweat or the spicy questions.

“We go together real bad,” Diddy finally remarked as Yung Miami laughed at the interaction. “It’s just a good date night,” Caresha told Anthony, and the 53-year-old expressed a similar sentiment. “We don’t put titles on it,” he added on. “Everybody wants to put a title on it, we don’t put a title on it. This is like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me to meet, and I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”

Of course, that interview was quite interesting considering that the “Don’t Play With It” MC previously confirmed that they had split. “We’re still friends!” she remarked to The Cut. “We’re still good friends! But we’re single. That’s not my man. We had our own situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were f***ing with each other hard, we were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.” With that in mind, his flustered reaction makes much more sense. Zaytoven Reveals “Beast Mode 3” With Future Is On The Way

It looks like the Met Gala isn’t the only exciting thing happening today. Moreover, Zaytoven just took to Twitter to drop a trailer for the third installment in his collaborative album series with Future, Beast Mode 3. During the trailer, both Zay and Hendrix talk about the sound that they helped popularize, their work ethic, and what it means to go “beast mode.” Not only that, but the duo’s next album’s trailer also features a few other figures in the rap game through brief appearances. For example, in a surprising but welcome link-up, Tyler, The Creator gives Future some words of admiration near the clip’s end.

Of course, fans took this trailer with a grain of salt, as Zaytoven originally teased Beast Mode 3 back in September of 2019. However, with a trailer to boot, many hope that this official push means the album is finally coming soon. In addition, the producer also quote-tweeted a post from Lyrical Lemonade asking what the best album of the year was so far. In that message, he dismissed the competition and said that his next project with Future will dominate. “No way 2023 Is this dry…” he remarked of the highlighted albums. These included Don Toliver’s Love Sick, Yeat’s AftërLyfe, Jack Harlow’s Jackman, and Lil Yachty’s Let’s Start Here. “Wait till my shit drop… [bald eagle emoji] x [piano emoji] 3 OTW.”

To elaborate, fans also raised eyebrows just because of how many projects Future’s rumored to be involved in. For example, another prominent producer that teased a joint tape with the “Superhero” MC is Metro Boomin, who also said they will release it this year. Still, Pluto is quite the prolific artist and often tapped his closest production collaborators for full-length work together. As such, Zaytoven is just fanning the flames of speculation, but the trailer gave fans a lot of confidence in Zay.

Meanwhile, Zaytoven recently sold his music catalog and hinted at new music on the way. With that in mind, his promise of Beast Mode 3 is that much more believable. Insane concert ticket prices have been the talk of the entertainment industry in recent months, but many Americans are more concerned with healthcare prices. Last week, hip-hop artists Fat Joe, French Montana, Rick Ross, and Busta Rhymes teamed up to perform at a “Power to the Patients” advocacy event in Washington DC, bringing awareness to significant issues in the American healthcare system.

The event was sponsored by “Power to the Patients,” a non-profit organization fighting for a more affordable and equitable healthcare system price transparency.

At the event, which was attended by cele French Montana stated that he was involved in the event because he didn’t think that people should be “blindsided” anymore by astronomical healthcare bills, saying that patients “needed prices up front” and that he hoped the event could help the American healthcare system “move forward.”

Rick Ross got on stage and said that people should know if they “gotta sell your house to save your parents” with regard to inconsistent hospital bills.

On the organization’s website, alongside a YouTube video about the subject, Fat Joe explained why he was passionate about the cause, writing:

“We have to change the healthcare system and hold hospitals and insurers accountable to provide more transparency on the price of care. They are charging way too much money and the bills are not even consistent. Somebody could get an MRI for $300 and someone right behind them could be paying thousands for the same MRI. Right now, millions across the country are being dragged into debt because they’re blindsided by the cost of these medical bills. Families are falling apart. People are losing their homes. People are getting bankrupted because of hospital bills and healthcare. Knowing prices is the only way we will be able to lower our costs in healthcare. So, we have to fight for the people. We all have to talk to our politicians and talk to everybody. It’s in the law that hospitals and insurers need to post prices and we all need to know this. I teamed up with Power to the Patients to educate our communities on their rights and help put an end to this injustice.”

Drake Searches For Rare LeBron James Collectible In New Netflix Series

Drake and LeBron James have quite the solid relationship, but that doesn’t make the latter’s collectibles any easier to find. Moreover, the Toronto rapper appeared on the first episode of the new Netflix series “King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch,” which premiered on Friday (April 28). Hosted by auctioneer Ken Goldin, the show revolves around the hunt for sports collectibles, and its first episode is called “Hail to the King.” Along with their teams, Drizzy and Goldin look for a rare Triple Logoman card of the Lakers star, which features each NBA logo for every team he won a championship in. What’s more is that only one exists.

Still, Drake tried his hand at opening a box of unknown sealed cards. During his browse, he found an Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway Logoman card worth $50,000, so that’s at least something. Also, he got cards of other famous basketball players like Isaiah Thomas and Larry Bird. The 6 God even found a very rare card featuring Michael Jordan. Despite his best efforts and trying to get lucky, Lebron James’ Triple Logoman card was nowhere to be found. For sports fans, the 36-year-old’s bad luck is something fans often pin their losses on.

For example, Toronto Raptors fans blamed Drake for the team losing against the Chicago Bulls, thus losing their chance to compete in the playoffs this year.
