Anthony Davis Has Interesting Reaction To Russell Westbrook Signing

Anthony Davis is one of the best players in the league when he is healthy. Over the past two seasons, he, LeBron James, and Russell Westbrook could have been a big three. However, they weren’t exactly cut out for each other. Of course, we know what AD and LeBron are capable of. Although, when it came to Russ, it was very clear that he didn’t fit in with the team. As a result, we were hit with some pretty pathetic basketball. The fans in Los Angeles ended up turning on Russ, and the rest was history. Consequently, he was traded at the deadline.

Since then, Russ has been bought out by the Utah Jazz. This allowed Russ to become a free agent who could go anywhere he wants. In the end, he decided to remain in Los Angeles, albeit with the Clippers. This is great news for the Clippers, who desperately needed a point guard. Furthermore, it reinvigorates the battle of Los Angeles, as Westbrook can go on a revenge tour of sorts. As for the actual players on the Lakers, they do not seem to care about this new development.

Anthony Davis Reacts

While speaking to the media about Russ going to the Clippers, AD didn’t have much to say. As you will see, he isn’t even sure how Westbrook will help the team. “I’m not part of that team. I have no idea what their locker room is like, what their chemistry is like,” Davis said. “Honestly, I don’t really watch the Clippers like that… I got three kids. I don’t have time to.” From there, AD gave a bit more of a fleshed-out answer, noting that the Clippers were a team in need of a point guard. However, Davis still doesn’t know how it will work out for them. “I know they got rid of John (Wall) and Reggie (Jackson), so he’s another point guard for them,” Davis noted. “I’m not sure how [coach Tyronn Lue] will utilize him, but I’m pretty sure he’s happy to stay in LA.”

Overall, it is going to be interesting to track the Clippers, moving forward. They are a team that has a lot of pressure to succeed. Now, Russ will be inheriting that pressure which could go very badly. No matter what, it is going to be a lot of fun to watch. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Malcolm X’s Family Launches $100M Lawsuit Against NYPD and Other Law Enforcement Agencies for Concealing Information Around His Assassination

Malcolm X's Family Launches $100M Lawsuit Against NYPD and Other Law Enforcement Agencies for Concealing Information Around His Assassination

The family of Malcolm X has aligned with civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump and announced a lawsuit against the New York City Police Department and other government agencies. The suit alleges the entities covered up information related to Malcolm X’s murder.

According to CBS News, Crump and two of Malcolm X’s daughters, Qubilah Shabazz and Ilyasah Shabazz, held a news conference to provide “formal notice” to New York City, New York state, the district attorney’s office, the FBI, CIA, and other law enforcement agencies.

The $100 million lawsuit alleges the named “had factual evidence and exculpatory evidence that they fraudulently concealed from the men who were wrongfully convicted for the assassination of Malcolm X.”

In 2021 two of the three men convicted for Malcolm X’s murder were exonerated. A following investigation revealed Muhammad A. Aziz and the late Khalil Islam were wrongfully convicted. Mujahid Abdul Halim admitted to his part in the shooting and denied the other two men were involved.

During the Tuesday presser, crump questioned the actions of the government.

“The rhetorical question is this: if the government compensated the two gentlemen that were wrongfully convicted for the assassination of Malcolm X with tens of millions of dollars, then what is to be the compensation for the daughters who suffered the most from the assassination of Malcolm X?”

Crump added, “We intend to have vigorous litigation of this matter, to have discovery, to be able to take depositions of the individuals who are still alive, 58 years later, to make sure that some measure of justice can be given to Malcolm X’s daughters.”

Malcolm X was assassinated on Feb. 21, 1965, shot 21 times as he was about to speak during a civil rights event at the Audubon Ballroom in NYC. X’s daughters connected with crump after a former officer, Raymond Wood, wrote a death letter stating he “participated in actions that in hindsight were deplorable and detrimental to the advancement of my own black people” during his patrol on the day of Malcolm X’s assassination.

Fired Twitter and Google Employees Create Rival Social Media Platform

Fired Twitter and Google Employees Create Rival Social Media Platform

Sarah Oh, a former human rights advisor for Twitter, and her friend Gabor Cselle, a former Director at Google, have teamed up to create T2, a rival service to Twitter.

Currently, in beta, T2 offers a post feed with a 280-character limit. However, according to Oh, that’s not the only difference between T2 and Twitter. “We really do want to create an experience that allows people to share what they want to share without fearing risk of things like abuse and harassment, and we feel like we’re really well positioned to deliver on that,” Oh told CNN.

There have also been many creators who have teamed up to create Twitter-esque social media platforms to attract those users who have left Twitter after expressing their distaste for the app following Elon Musk’s takeover. For example, the founders of Instagram announced Artifact, “a personalized news feed” powered by artificial intelligence, a description that quickly earned it comparisons to Twitter. According to CNN, it resembled news reader applications like Apple News or the defunct Google Reader. Artifact displayed popular articles from large media organizations and smaller bloggers in a main feed, tailored to users based on their activity and selected interests.

Additionally, Alphonzo “Phonz” Terrell, who served as Twitter’s global head of social and editorial for three years, and  DeVaris Brown, who served as a product manager lead, were let go by Musk and have also teamed up to create their own social media platform, Spill.

According to The Insider, Spill, named for the phrase “spill the tea,” will use blockchain to compensate users for popular posts and include a feature called “tea parties” where users can gather online or in real life to connect. “While Spill is for everyone, we are catering to culture drivers who frequently set new trends yet routinely get overlooked and under compensated,” Terrell tweeted in his announcement of the app. “Yes, we mean Black creators, Queer creators, and a variety of influential voices outside the U.S.”

Following the app’s announcement, Terrell tweeted that Spill had received 20,000 reservations for handles within 12 hours.

Minnesota Woman Receives Life in Prison for Killing 6-Year-Old Son

Minnesota Woman Receives Life in Prison for Killing 6-Year-Old Son

A Minnesota woman has been sentenced to life in prison for killing her six-year-old son without the possibility of parole.

Julissa Thaler, 28, was arrested last year in Minnesota when someone called the police and reported that she was driving her vehicle with a shattered rear window and a blown-out tire. When they conducted a traffic stop, police found that Thaler had flesh pieces on her and blood in her car. She claimed the blood was from a tampon, and the flesh was from a deer she had purchased from a butcher. Sadly, her six-year-old son’s body was found in the trunk of that car. Two months ago, a jury found her guilty and convicted her of first and second-degree murder. Prosecutors said that Thaler used a shotgun to shoot Eli Hart nine times.

During her sentencing, Thaler’s family revealed that Thaler and Tory Hart, her now deceased son’s father, had just undergone a custody battle, where Thaler was awarded custody just ten days prior. Following her sentencing, Hart filed a wrongful death suit against the Dakota County employees who gave Thaler custody. That case is scheduled for trial in 2024.

“Everyone knows Eli Hart as the victim of this senseless and horrific crime. But Eli was so much more,” said Josephine Josephson, Tory Hart’s partner. “Eli was an amazing 6-year-old boy who always woke up full of energy and laughter.”

While reading the sentence, Judge Quam said: “The worst thing that seems to happen to parents is to lose their child. It’s worse, though, when you don’t lose your child to something like cancer or an accident, it’s when someone takes that child from the world. What I can’t imagine, nobody can imagine, is that the person that takes the child from the world is the person that brought that child in. Nothing I do would bring justice to this situation. Nothing I do would relieve any of the pain that you caused by doing that.”

When Thaler was asked if she wanted to address the court, she agreed and said, “I’m innocent. F*** you all. You’re garbage. That is all, your honor,”

Shannon Sharpe Reveals Why He’s Staying With Skip Bayless

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have been on the air together for over six years now. When Bayless decided to leave ESPN, he handpicked Shannon to be his broadcast partner. Overall, Undisputed has been a massive success thanks to the dynamic these two have. Although Skip is the old guard of hot-take merchants, Shannon offers a unique perspective as a professional athlete. Moreover, he is wildly entertaining, and fans love hearing him talk on the show. However, all that glitters isn’t necessarily gold, especially given recent events.

In the span of what felt like back-to-back weeks, Sharpe and Bayless found themselves at odds. Firstly, we had the incident in which Bayless said Tom Brady was better than Shannon. Many found this to be completely tasteless, and it led to a very interesting fallout. Secondly, we had the Damar Hamlin incident. Shannon took issue with Skip’s tweet about the Hamlin medical emergency, which led to an on-air argument. These instances had some calling for Sharpe to leave Undisputed. Although, in an interview with Adam Schein, Sharpe made it clear he is sticking by his guy.

Shannon Sharpe Talks Skip

In Sharpe’s eyes, what he has with Bayless is very much like a marriage. As he told Schein, he didn’t want to let those bad few weeks erase what is otherwise a great relationship. “I wasn’t gonna allow two bad months to ruin six years of a great working relationship,” he noted. “We have a great working relationship.” Moreover, Sharpe made the revelation that he and Skip aren’t friends outside of the show. Although, this has nothing to do with his appreciation for his work partner. “I think it helps our relationship on-air that we are not that close,” Sharpe said. “He doesn’t know what I’m thinking and he doesn’t know what I’m going to say.”

It is good to see that Skip and Shannon are going to continue their show together. Ultimately, it would be a real shame to see Undisputed end. While the fans wanted to overreact, Shannon seems to have a plan. However, if he does decide to leave Skip at some point, he will be fine on his own. Be sure to let us know what you think of Sharpe’s comments, down below.

Iggy Azalea Makes Easy OnlyFans Money From Men Who Pay Her For Something Odd

Iggy Azalea is on OnlyFans and she’s making, in her words, “so much money that I won’t even say how much it is.” On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, she spoke about how some of that money comes from strange requests from men.

While applying makeup to Vanderpump Rules‘ James Kennedy, Azalea was asked, “What is the oddest ask one of your OnlyFans subscribers has requested? She explained, “Men pay me to tell them that they’re a piece of sh*t. […] Like, they’ll send me like $600 just to send a voicemail that’s like, ‘I’d never suck your disgusting little f*cking dick. Is that even a dick? I wouldn’t even let my dog lick that dick.’ And they’re like, ‘Ahh! $200, $300!’”

On the topic of men, she was also asked what’s the sexiest quality in a man that doesn’t have to do with appearance, and she said, “I just think you have to be witty, you have to have witty banter. If you can’t have witty banter, I don’t give a… I don’t care.

Elsewhere during the show, Azalea spoke about what she sees as an often-overlooked quality in former collaborator Britney Spears, saying, “I love Britney and she’s so much more creative than what people give her credit for.”
