Coke-Rap King Pusha T Dropped A ‘Cocaine Bear’ Remix Of ‘White Lines’ Because Of Course He Did

Pusha T notched his first career No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart last spring with It’s Almost Dry, home to “Diet Coke,” and he’s sticking with what got him there. Pusha recently failed to cook a steak on Valentine’s Day, but yesterday (February 22), he returned to more familiar ingredients: Cocaine Bear unveiled Pusha’s “White Lines (Cocaine Bear Remix) and made a lyric video from some of the film’s unhinged trailer footage.

Pusha raps, “All white, all winter / Even snow in the summer / The high falling from the sky / Are you the hunted or the hunter? / I got Tennessee numbers / I sing to the key numbers / The dope boys go crazy / They know I get it out the jungle / I ain’t never been a runner / We ain’t never had to wonder / You heard the pilot lost the load / We call that Dumb And Dumber / There’s no storm without thunder / The bear crawls up and under / Cocaine overload.”

Directed by Elizabeth Banks, Cocaine Bear is billed as “inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it.” The ensemble cast includes Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Isiah Whitlock Jr., the late Ray Liotta, and more.

Cocaine Bear hits theaters tomorrow, February 24. Watch the trailer above.

R. Kelly Was Sentenced To 20 Years In Prison For Child Pornography

R. Kelly has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for child pornography, according to the New York Times. Kelly will serve this sentence concurrently with his 30-year sentence for sex trafficking and racketeering, except for one year. Kelly was convicted of the more recent charge in his native Chicago in September. He was initially accused of 13 charges, including producing child pornography, enticing minors for sex, and obstructing justice. He was found guilty of six — three counts of coercing minors into sexual activity and three of producing sex tapes involving a minor.

Prosecutors wanted Kelly sentenced to no fewer than 25 years in prison due to his “lack of remorse” for his actions and the presumed likelihood he would resume his crimes. One of the prosecutors, Jeannice Williams Appenteng, said, “The only way to ensure he will not re-offend is to impose a sentence that will keep him in prison for the rest of his life.” Kelly’s defense lawyer Jennifer Bonjean, said he wouldn’t pose a threat in his old age, but it doesn’t look like that argument held up.

Kelly was previously found guilty of racketeering and eight violations of an anti-sex trafficking law in a New York-based federal case. Kelly is appealing both convictions with Bonjean, who previously successfully appealed similar charges against comedian Bill Cosby.

Drake Admitted To Thinking About A ‘Graceful Exit’ In A Teaser For His Interview With Lil Yachty

Rappers and retirement historically don’t mix, but Drake is flirting it anyway. Lil Yachty is the latest guest on the Rap Radar podcast, but that’s been slightly overshadowed by Yachty posting a clip from “A Moody Conversation” interview with Drake for his Futuremood sunglasses company.

“I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna, like — I feel like maybe we talked about this the other day, but I feel like I’m kind of introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit,” Drake told Yachty while ocean waves crashed behind them.

Yachty teased that the full episode will drop tomorrow, February 24.

Drake taking stock of his life and career was on full display during his Apollo Theater performance last month, which even featured him wearing his old Jimmy Brooks Degrassi jersey.

“I wanted to make this a show about gratitude,” Drake told his intimate Apollo audience, according to Uproxx’s review. “This is a little story that we put together. My deep love for my family, for my dear friends, and for each and every one of you who have been supporting me for a long time. […] This is my bedroom in my mom’s basement where I wrote a lot of new songs. […] I’m gonna play you some of the sh*t that got us out of here.”

Yachty recently gushed about Drake to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe while promoting his new album, Let’s Start Here.

“I love him to death,” Yachty told Lowe. “That’s my guy, man. … Our relationship has just grown so big and so tight. But that’s my guy, man. That’s my brother, man. That’s like the only person I probably talk to since I was, like, nineteen on a daily basis. Like, every single day.”

If Drake really is planning to slow down on the music front, maybe he’ll use the extra time to work on his “old-man YMCA game.”

Ab-Soul Put On A Passionate Performance For His Tiny Desk Concert, Shared On His Birthday

Last year, Ab-Soul released his new album Herbert featuring collaborations with artists like Big Sean, Russ, Joey Badass, and Jhené Aiko. He also teamed up with Zacari earlier this month for the track “Motions.” Now, he’s back with an NPR Tiny Desk.

His enthusiastic performance includes “Message In A Bottle,” “Bohemian Grove,” “It Be Like That,” “FOMF,” “Terrorist Threats,” “Fallacy,” “Do Better,” “The Book of Soul,” and “Gotta Rap.” His passionate flows are set to a mesmeric, eclectic backdrop of guitars, trumpets, and saxophones; there’s a sense of vibrant community amongst the cluster of talented musicians packed in the small space. To make it better, today is his birthday. What better way to celebrate?

A statement shared upon the announcement of the album Herbert explained the complexity of the meaning and making of it. “Herbert is a deliberately intimate portrait of the man behind Ab-Soul going back to his foundation,” the statement reads. “As noted by the name of the record, leaving the conspiracy theories, he’s known for behind while emphasizing his musicality. After suffering through a series of unspeakable tragedies, Stevens completed the album as a changed man with a new sense of purpose.”

Ari Fletcher Details Upcoming Waist Slimming Procedure

Reality star Ari Fletcher is making rounds again for her upcoming surgery. Ari is rumored to have had multiple cosmetic enhancements in the past, which she herself has since refuted. When it comes to an upcoming procedure, however, the mother of one is open about going under the knife. Apparently, the former Savage Fenty model plans to cinch her waist, according to her latest postings.

A short time ago, the beauty brand owner took to her Instagram Stories as she worked out with her trainer and son. She then partook in some self-care at a medical spa before revealing the surgery news. “I’m getting a stage 3 faja taken in at a double xs at the waist,” Fletcher wrote. “I’m about to wear a d*mn 3xs waist!” Moneybagg Yo’s longtime girlfriend continued on to allude the procedure will take place before the summer months.

Ari Fletcher Reveals Surgery News

Hollywood Unlocked posted the IG Story to their page, leading to mixed opinions regarding Ari Fletcher’s recent news. A large majority of commenters stand against the decision, mentioning her to remind the socialite she looks fine as is. “‘Influencers’ stay promoting unhealthy beauty standards,” @thaigillion chimed in. Another tea drinker wrote, “Body dysmorphia is real.” Moreover, many believe Ari has become addicted to surgery, sharing their worries about The Impact personality’s long-term health. One user urges Ari to do further research, as others have had bad experiences with waist reductions. “She better look up the girl whose stomach started dropping and her organs stopped working properly from waist training,” they sent in.

Followers of the Chicagoan went on to break down her Story, citing a faja is essentially a waist trainer. The faja is normally worn after plastic surgery, as it helps maintain the desired look long term. She has yet to respond to any of their judgment calls. Earlier this month, Ari evaded a surgery probe when bashed for her twerking videos. @Creativecapitalist questioned “Why is this all young women do today? Sit down and read a book… Body full of surgery, mind full of marbles.” In response, Fletcher uploaded another dancing clip, avoiding the surgery comment entirely. “B****es be in the comments of a [twerking] video like ‘Is this all you have to offer… Even if it was, this s**t took me far.”

This Craig Sager Air Jordan 1 PE Is Incredible

If you know anything about Craig Sager, it is that he had some truly wonderful suits. Additionally, he was beloved by all of the players and coaches he interviewed. Over the years, Sager was a staple of NBA On TNT’s coverage. He was always standing courtside, ready to interview the biggest names in the sport. Although he interviewed some people at their lowest moments, he was able to get people to crack a smile. When he passed away a few years ago, it was a huge loss to the basketball community.

Going back to Sager’s suits, he was always wearing something truly unique. The patterns and the fabrics on his menswear would always get a ride out of people. Even though not everyone was a fan of his looks, they couldn’t help but deny that Sager pulled it off immaculately. Having said all of this, it should come as no surprise that Jordan Brand once made a Craig Sager Player Exclusive. Although it was never released officially, there are still some images of it online.

Craig Sager Air Jordan 1

Subsequently, we now have some detailed shots of the shoe, courtesy of @EnglishSole on Instagram. As you can see up above, this shoe is tremendous, although certainly not for everyone. It is impossible to truly describe this shoe from head to toe. Overall, this is because each section of the shoe features its own unique pattern. Of course, this all represents Sager and his magnificent suits. He never wore the same thing twice, and that is absolutely represented here. Every time you look at this shoe, you are going to come across something new. Most sneakers don’t give you that feeling, however, these definitely do.

Unfortunately, you will never be able to purchase these. Jordan Brand has no plans for an official release, and that is probably for the best. These are not mass appealing, and a release would ruin their mystique. At least for now, we have these images to look at whenever we want. Let us know what you think of this sneaker, down in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sneaker world.

Lil Wayne Talks “Kant Nobody” Collab With Swizz Beatz & DMX, Says He Deserves No. 1 On “Top 50 Rappers” List

Are you ready for the next Weezy era? This week, fans were in a frenzy after Lil Wayne announced that he, Swizz Beatz, and the late DMX were featured on a new single, “Kant Nobody.” It’s an anticipated release that has Hip Hop buzzing, and Weezy sat down with Zane Lowe for Apple Music to discuss the new single. Wayne, Swizz, and DMX’s imprints in the culture are unmatched, and the Young Money icon suggests this collaboration was a no-brainer.

“That’s my brother, first of all…Swizz,” said Wayne. The pair have collided in the studio to create megahits in the past, and “Kant Nobody” is expected to match that success. “That’s the way we work. We got a billion bangers and just pick one to put out whenever we feel like it.” He then mentioned his social media presence or lack thereof. “Everyone around me knows that I don’t do social media.”

Lil Wayne Explains His Online Absence

“With that said, the world can end, and if it ends on social media, I would not know,” the Rap icon further stated. “I’d still be walking around. If it doesn’t happen through sports, I don’t know it happened.” Weezy quickly moved on to Billboard and Vibe‘s “Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time” list. It was a collection that caused a stir online. “With that said, my bro Mac said he was a little upset about something that came out about rap or something like that? I don’t even know about lists.”

It goes unsaid that Lil Wayne did, indeed, make the Top 10. However, some argued that he should have been higher than No. 7. He agreed. “Man, who the hell is before me? Was the list including all Hip Hop, like before and after as well? I can deal with that… I will tell you that I am a motherf*cking [No. 1]. Everybody whose names you named, they also know I’m No. 1. Go ask ’em. They know what it is.”

Additionally, Wayne teased his upcoming release, Tha Carter VI. “Everybody already know… you already know… come on… it’s Carter VI,” he said. “I never even imagined. That didn’t even sound right years ago. I can’t believe we’re at Carter VI. My fans know I give my all. Go listen to my last feature and know it’s gonna be a thousand times better than that.”

Lil Wayne Kicks Off “Tha Carter VI” Campaign With “Kant Nobody” Ft. DMX & Swizz Beatz

Lil Wayne’s new album appears to be on the way. The rapper dropped off his last studio album, Funeral in 2020, followed by the third installment in the No Ceilings mixtape series. However, it’s the forthcoming volume in Tha Carter that fans have awaited. Considering the storied history behind Tha Carter V’s release, it felt like a relief just to see the album out, even if it didn’t show Wayne at his finest hour. Nonetheless, the rapper emerged with a body of work that fans cherished.

Last year, the rapper confirmed that Tha Carter VI would arrive soon. Lil Wayne announced the project as he shared the stage with his protegées Drake and Nicki Minaj at OVO Fest last summer. Just a few days later, he ramped up the anticipation once he revealed that a pre-save link was available. Though he didn’t provide much of an update afterward, he announced his upcoming Welcome To Tha Carter tour, which is set to kick off this April. So, it seems like his next album could drop sometime soon.

Lil Wayne Samples DMX On “Kant Nobody”

Shortly after Vibe and Billboard unveiled the top 10 of their Top 50 Greatest Rappers list, which ranked Lil Wayne at #7, the rapper seemingly addressed the publications in an Instagram post where he teased a new collaboration with Swizz Beatz and DMX. Today, he unveiled his latest single “Kant Nobody” featuring the late DMX and produced by Swizz Beatz, which aims to put the conversation to rest surrounding his position in the rap game.

Swizz cooks up the haunting instrumental, which includes a sample of DMX’s vocals, while Lil Wayne delivers one of his best performances in a minute. While Wayne delivers one of his best verses in a minute, the song, unfortunately, limits DMX’s contributions to a sample instead of a full 16 bars. Still, Lil Wayne and Swizz continue to shine as collaborators following the release of “Uproar.” Check the single out above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics
Best Rapper, ex-trapper, dressed dapper
Swizzy gave me a headbanger, a neck-snapper
Ex-factor, make a rapper an example
All I need is a beat with a DMX sample.

Kay Flock Hit With RICO Charges Amid Murder Case

As much as Kay Flock has ascended from the New York drill underground in the last year or so, he has also been bogged down by the justice system. While still awaiting trial for a murder case, Flock has now been indicted for racketeering charges, according to TMZ. On Thursday (Feb. 23), the 19-year-old was indicted by a federal grand jury for helping run the Sev Side/D.O.A. gang, TMZ says. Ironically, this come just a few months after Kay Flock put out his December album The D.O.A. Tape (Care Package). The LP includes features from frequent collaborator Dougie B, as well as G Herbo, Fivio Foreign, Gucci Mane, and more. Additionally, the tape features his single “Shake It” with Cardi B, Dougie B, and Bory300. “Shake It” played a huge part in uplifting the NY drill scene in 2021, and peaked at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100.

However, in Dec. 2021, eight months after the release of “Shake It,” Kay Flock ran into trouble. On Dec. 23, he was arrested for his involvement in the Dec. 16 death of 24-year-old Oscar Hernandez. According to police, the incident started at a barber shop. Flock and Hernandez had issues prior, and the argument escalated to a shooting, police said. Subsequently, Flock enlisted the help of Jeffrey Lichtman, the former lawyer of Mexican cartel leader El Chapo. Flock is currently in jail awaiting trial for this murder charge, so another RICO case added on top of that must be hard to stomach.

Kay Flock’s Situation

The aforementioned racketeering charge Kay Flock was just it with allegedly carries a mandatory minimum sentence of life or death penalty, according to Akademiks. According to TMZ, Flock and five other members of Sev Side/D.O.A will all have to face trial for the RICO indictment. The federal grand jury stated that Sev Side/D.O.A’s “primary purpose was to commit robberies, acts of violence and financial fraud in their Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx,” TMZ says. So, it appears that Kay Flock may need to lawyer up a bit more.

The most recent development in the Kay Flock murder case, however, came from his lawyer in July. Lichtman stated at the time that Flock acted in self-defense, and that their claim can be backed up with video evidence. Lichtman also vowed to stay in Flock’s corner and continue to fight for his innocence. That may be tougher now, though, considering the murder charge is now coupled with this new RICO case. Stay tuned in to HNHH for more updates regarding Kay Flock as they come in.
