Dwight Howard Gets Into Massive Brawl During Taiwanese League Game

Dwight Howard has been playing basketball in Taiwan as of late. Overall, he has been putting up some insane numbers. However, his team doesn’t seem to be winning very much. The team is at a record of 4-11 and they are at the bottom of the standings right now. Regardless, Howard has been a high point for the Taoyuan Leopards who are attempting to have a strong finish to their season.

According to Taiwan News, however, there seems to be trouble afoot for Howard and his teammates. This is because he was one of 12 people ejected from the Leopards’ last game. Although the Leopards were able to come through with the win, there was a massive brawl. Howard and his teammates were playing against the TaiwanBeer HeroBears when the incident happened. According to the report, the fight was started thanks to an elbow from Leopards player Chen Hsiao-jung. He hit Chiang Yu-an of the HeroBears, and this led to a larger altercation.

Throughout the fight, numerous punches were thrown, and almost everyone on the court had a fight partner. One could even liken it to a line brawl during a hockey game. However, it should be noted that Howard wanted nothing to do with the fight. The original report claims that Dwight was on the court trying to break it all up. Despite this, he was hit with a prompt ejection. It was an unfortunate ejection when you consider how Howard had 28 points and 14 rebounds at the time.

Hopefully, for Howard and his team, this can be a massive turning point. There is no guarantee that it will be, although it is clear that these players are there for one another. Lil Woody Interrogation Leak Leads To Mistrial Request: Report

An attorney for defendant Jayden Myrick, aka SetTrip, in the YSL RICO case, has reportedly filed for a mistrial. The report stems from court documents published by Law&Crime Network executive producer Cathy Russon. In them, Myrick’s legal team cites the recent leak of Lil Woody’s three-hour interrogation video. The leak has been spreading all over social media in recent days. The motion says that a court order previously mandated that discovery material not be shared on social media.

New York Times music reporter Joe Coscarelli posted the motion on Twitter as well. He writes, “The leak of this 3+ hour interrogation video regarding Young Thug and YSL — which is now excerpted on every rap gossip blog in existence (with lots wrong/out of context) — has led to a motion for mistrial today by one of the defendants.” During the video, Lil Woody can be seen appearing incredibly nervous as he speaks with police investigators. He didn’t have his lawyer with him at the time.

The Court Motion

The motion cites an order that states parties involved in the case should not disseminate discovery material on social media. The request explains, “On or about Friday, February 17, 2023, discovery material was disseminated on social media in clear violation of said Order. While said evidence may not directly implicate my client, it along with all of the publicity and courtroom incidents since the start of this trial that have not been the result of any conduct of my client, Jayden Myrick, make it impossible for him to receive a fair trial, as well as a jury that is honestly and truly fair and impartial. WHEREFORE, Defendant respectfully requests a hearing in this matter instanter, and, that the case against him specifically, be dismissed with prejudice.”

Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, who is not currently seeking a mistrial, says that he’s still “shocked and disappointed”. “The release of this video harms Mr. Williams a great deal. These are just stories,” he told Coscarelli before adding, “We need a trial by a fair and impartial jury.” Cathy Russon says that the parties are at least two months away from finalizing a jury.

2 Chainz & Ne-Yo Join The Cast Of 50 Cent’s “BMF”

50 Cent’s empire is expanding. Though things with Starz seemingly fell through, despite shows like Power and BMF generating massive revenue for the network, Fif hasn’t allowed this minor setback to impact his goals as a television mogul. The new season of Power Book II: Ghost is expected to debut next month while fans are at the edge of their seats to find out what happens next with the Flenory brothers and the Black Mafia Family empire during this season. 

Though the cast of Power and BMF have traded shots at each other over the past few weeks, each has cemented its places on television must-watch lists. While the second season of BMF might be coming to an end soon, it’s apparent that the demand is high. STARZ recently renewed the show for a third season, which will likely debut next year. Already, 50 Cent began plotting out how he’ll expand the cast further and it seems he has some more star power to back it up.

2 Chainz & Ne-Yo Will Join The “BMF” Cast In Season 3

Over the years, we’ve seen how 50 Cent included many of hip-hop’s favorites in his television world. Kendrick Lamar appeared in the original Power series, Method Man and Mary J. Blige have roles in Power Book II, and Kash Doll has held it down on BMF as Monique. However, it appears that BMF will get even more star power in the near future with the inclusion of 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo. 50 Cent hit Instagram where he confirmed both artists will appear on BMF season 3.

According to Variety, 2 Chainz will take on the role of an Atlanta-born distributor named Stacks. “Fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost, Stacks lives by the street code and challenges Meech’s leadership style,” Starz described Chainz’s role. Ne-Yo will also play the role of a local Atlanta hustler named Rodney “Greeny” Green whose primary focus is making money, though he’ll unveil layers to his character throughout the season. We’ll see how this all pans out in the next season but we’re certainly excited to see how they shape up to be on screen.

Devin Booker Unfollows Kendall Jenner Amid Bad Bunny Romance Rumours

As we anxiously await more details on Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s near breakup, rumours continue to swirl surrounding another famous duo. This past weekend, the internet lit up with rumours regarding Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny. The unexpected pairing is said to have spent a significant amount of time together in Los Angeles over the past few days. However, we have yet to see any photo evidence of their newfound friendship.

While some are pleased by the potential of a new celebrity pairing, others didn’t hesitate to express their discontent. Many social media users are bashing the Latin rapper for dating outside of his race. Others are simply jealous that they weren’t chosen instead. Among those seemingly upset by the news is Jenner’s ex, Devin Booker, who has unfollowed the socialite on Instagram, Page Six reports.

Kendall and Benito Heat Up Los Angeles

It all began when gossip blog DeuxMoi dropped off a particularly interesting blind item. It revealed that Benito Ocasio was seen playing “tonsil hockey” with a famous beauty in the club. Hours later they revealed Jenner’s identity. It was also noted on their podcast that the recording artist left the venue shortly after she did. As countless reactions to the rumours poured in, the pair began trending on Twitter.

The next night, they only fuelled gossip of their budding romance further with a dinner date. Cameras didn’t snap photos of Bunny and the reality star together. Still, various reports state they ate at the same restaurant and left through separate exits afterward. Now that we know Booker has unfollowed Jenner, the possibility of her beginning a new relationship seems all the more likely.

In light of the endless headlines about his ex lately, the NBA star is seemingly doing his part to let go of their on-again-off-again union. Reddit users were the first to notice the juicy information this week. They also noted that Booker unfollowed his ex’s close friend Hailey Bieber too. “Kenny’s date with BB did exactly what she wanted it to do,” one person joked on the forum.

At this time, Jenner still follows Booker’s Instagram account. The pair were together for over two years, though their relationship was put on hold numerous times during that span. In November 2022, it was announced that they were calling it quits for good. Clearly, the 27-year-old is doing what she can to move on – here’s hoping the athlete is able to do the same. 48-Year-Old Da Brat Is Pregnant With Her First Child After Believing She’d Never Have Kids

Da Brat has done a lot in her life. The rapper has had albums and songs reach the top 10 of the Billboard charts and achieve platinum certification. She’s earned Grammy nominations. She’s otherwise cemented herself as a key figure in hip-hop history. Now, at 48 years old, she’s trying something new: pregnancy.

Da Brat confirmed with People that she and wife Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart are expecting a baby. Harris-Dupart previously had three children before her relationship with Da Brat, and for Da Brat, this is her first time carrying a child. She is currently 18 weeks pregnant.

She told People, “I never thought I was going to have kids. I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me. I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me.”

Da Brat also noted, “It’s been quite a journey. There’s a lot of stuff we learned about women over the age of 40.”

She also said of how her mindset shifted after meeting Harris-Dupart, “I started looking at life so differently,” says Da Brat. “I was like, I want a little me with you. Something special from the both of us that we can share and raise and love unconditionally.”

Jayda G’s ‘Guy’: Everything To Know Including The Release Date, Tracklist, And More

Grammy-nominated writer, producer, and DJ Jayda G may have grabbed music lovers’ attention thanks to a few high-profile dance remixes, including one of Taylor Swift’s chart-topping single “Anti-Hero.” Still, once you dive into her solo work, it is sure to keep you locked in. The Canadian but now-London-based musician’s forthcoming album, Guy, draws on her House music roots with a flare of disco, R&B, and soul music.

The album was named after her late father, William Richard Guy, who inspired the project.

“I wanted the album to be a blend of storytelling about the African American experience, death, grief, and understanding,” Jayda explained in a statement. She went on to add, “It’s about my dad and his story, and naturally, in part my story, too, but it’s also about so many people who wanted more for themselves and went on a search to find that. This album is just so much for people who have been oppressed and who have not had easy lives.”
