Dana White Slams Reports Of Floyd Mayweather & Conor McGregor Rematch As “Bullsh*t”

Despite reports that Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are “very close” to reaching an agreement on a deal to return to the ring for another fight, UFC President Dana White called the reports “total bullshit” during a new interview with TMZ.

“It’s total bullshit!” White told the outlet, adding, “That story came from a paper called The Daily Mirror which is a tabloid in Europe. It’s total bulls**t!”

The report actually came from The Sun, and was later covered by both Daily Mail and The Mirror, which White is likely referring to by inadvertently combining the names.

The outlet had claimed that the fight was agreed on to be contested at 155 lbs. and “personal terms” have been agreed upon, but the length of the fight and more small details were being worked out.

As McGregor is currently under contract with the UFC, White would have to sign off on him entering the boxing ring to take on Mayweather. The two famously boxed in August 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which went down as one of the most promoted bouts in the history of the sport. Mayweather won by TKO in the 10th round. It was McGregor’s first professional boxing match.

Chris Brown Speaks On Mental Health After Dallas Airport Shooter Claimed She’s His Wife

Chris Brown appears to have responded to reports that the suspected Dallas airport shooter, Portia Odufuwa, claimed that she was married to him. The Breezy artist shared a brief message on his Instagram page this morning addressing mental health, which many perceived to be addressed towards Odufuwa.

“Aye man, I don’t know what’s in my fuckin’ music but we got some of the — I got some of the craziest stalkers in the world,” he said in the video. “Aye, mental health is not something to play with, man. We lookin’ out for y’all.”

Odufuwa’s currently hospitalized after being shot by police for firing a gun in the Dallas airport. Shortly after, it was revealed that she was previously found unfit to stand trial in a misdemeanor case in 2021 for pulling a fire alarm. The reports claim that she once referred to herself as “God’s prophet,” and told officers during questioning that she wouldn’t speak until she spoke to her husband, who she claimed was Chris Brown. In that same case, she also gave the police Chris Brown’s home address as her own.

Dallas Police said that Odufuwu’s had a few run-ins with the laws over the past few years, aside from last year’s misdemeanor trial and the recent shooting.

We’ll keep you posted on more updates surrounding Portia Odufuwa’s case.

Donald Trump Calls For Drug Dealer Death Penalty: “Execute A Drug Dealer, Save 500 Lives”

As the January 6th hearings are revealing, Former President Donald Trump doesn’t take the law too seriously when it’s applied to himself. But Trump has repeatedly made clear that the law should be nothing less than draconian when it comes to people outside his orbit.

He returned to this “law and order” stance in a speech at the America First Policy Institute. In the appearance on Tuesday, Trump said that the death penalty should be imposed for convicted drug dealers.

“The penalties should be very, very severe. If you look at countries throughout the world, the ones that don’t have a drug problem are ones that institute a very quick trial death penalty sentence for drug dealers,” the former president said, characteristically not citing any evidence to back up this very tenuous claim.

He acknowledged this step might sound extreme: “It sounds horrible, doesn’t it? But you know what? That’s the ones that don’t have any problem. It doesn’t take 15 years in court. It goes quickly, and you absolutely– you execute a drug dealer, and you’ll save 500 lives.” Here, he ignored the fact that in the United States the death penalty is an extreme long and costly process. “It’s terrible to say, but you take a look at every country in this world that doesn’t have a problem with drugs, they have a very strong death penalty for people that sell drugs,” he continued.

His call for the death penalty is part of a larger message he’s been harping on as of late: that crime is out of control in American cities, and that there needs to be a swift and punitive crackdown. In addition to killing off drug dealers, Trump discussed placing police cars on every corner and forcing people without homes out of cities and into “large parcels of inexpensive land at the outer reaches of the city.”

Ben Reilly — whose name is a confirmed nod to Spider-Man’s clone — was featured on HNHH‘s second roundup of viral TikTok songs earlier this year, and shortly after, the gifted rapper was named to Pigeons & Planes‘ “See You Next Year” Class of 2022. Now, he’s back with the follow-up to Freelance, his critically acclaimed breakout project that was released last summer.

Titled Freelance: Charlie, Ben Reilly’s latest release is a B-side companion piece to Freelance, similar to how Kenny Mason’s Supercut was a deluxe-esque sequel to Angelic Hoodrat. On Charlie, Ben continues his exploration into what freedom really looks like, and he also taps Nico Porter, Kapwani, and Abstract Media artists Miseye and Luke Royal for features.

Sonically, Charlie is packed with incredible production that gives the listener both contemporary rap (i.e. “Agenda” and “No Strings: Look Out Below”) and classic Hip-Hop (i.e. “Charlie Charlie”) vibes, and at a sub-30-minute runtime, it serves as a perfect entry point for listeners unfamiliar with Ben. When touching on the significance of the project’s title, he said the following:

“I wanna thank everyone for the love y’all given this past year. This project is a B-Sides/Deluxe version of Freelance composed of old and new ideas that didn’t make the original whilst expanding upon the world in which it themes. If you’ve ever wondered who Charlie was… Charlie is me. Charlie is you. Charlie is the Red and the Brown Bird. Charlie is your best friend in transformation. Charlie is transcendence. I hope you enjoy as much as we do.”

Memphis Bleek Calls Out Juelz Santana Again Following Proposed “Verzuz” Battle

Memphis Bleek clearly isn’t backing down from Juelz Santana. The two rappers have been sending shots back and forth over the past few weeks following a proposed Verzuzbattle. Though nothing has been set in stone, Bleek’s continuous messages to Juelz Santana seems to be a sign that he won’t stop until the Dipset rappers steps into the ring with him and goes hit-for-hit.

During a recent performance, Bleek called out the Dipset rapper, once again. The rapper was about to jump into his next song at his live concert and issued a message to Santana, telling him to prepare for their supposed battle. “Wassup? Somebody tell that n***a Juelz he better be fucking ready for this, you know what I mean? This shit real, n***a,” he said.

Though Juelz has yet to respond to Memphis Bleek’s latest call out, the two were supposedly set to battle earlier this month. In June, a video clip surfaced of Bleek announcing that he and Juelz would face off on July 21st. However, Swizz Beatz nor Timbaland ever confirmed whether this was actually going down. There haven’t been any updates on the battle since then but perhaps, that’s on Verzuz’s schedule for this fall.

Chris Brown Says He Didn’t Bail On Hurricane Relief Show & Offers Donation

Chris Brown says that he didn’t bail on a benefit concert for victims of Hurricanes Ida and Nicholas last minute, as was claimed by the organizer of the event. Instead, Brown is offering up a donation to support the community.

The show had been scheduled for March 19 at the Toyota Center in Houston. According to TMZ, Brown bailed on the event after it was revealed that Bryson Tiller would be unable to make it, which violated a clause in the contract Brown had with the event. Brown’s legal team allegedly sent an email informing the organization two days beforehand.

LaJuan Bailey, whose company booked Brown to appear at the concert, recently said at a press conference that she had fronted Brown more than $1 million in fees, and wasn’t paid back, despite him never attending the event.

“I acted in good faith and sponsored this concert out of love and respect for residents in need,” Bailey said. “I am appalled that Chris Brown refuses to refund my money for a show he did not appear to after we announced our show and sold tickets.”

She continued: “At this point, it is my humble belief that Chris Brown’s actions are parallel to pure theft. He has the unmitigated gall to take my money, stand up the residents of Houston, then return to the city to perform on August 17, 2022. My message to Chris Brown: We will not sit back and allow you to disrespect the victims of Hurricane Ida and Nicholas in need.”

Both parties are reportedly still engaged in negations to lay the disagreement to rest.

Kodak Black Says His Recent Drug Arrest Is An Attempt At ‘Character Assassination’

Earlier this month, Kodak Black once again found himself in legal trouble when he was arrested on drug charges in Florida. Police officers pulled him over for a possible illegal window tint, and when they approached his car, they smelled a strong scent of marijuana, which led to a vehicle search. They discovered 31 oxycodone pills and $74,960 in cash. Kodak was then charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and trafficking oxycodone. Days after he was released from jail after posting $75,000 in bond, Kodak took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the arrest, which he called an attempt at “character assassination.”

“This Sh*t bogus Af,” Kodak began in one tweet. “I feel like This a character assassination issue [cause there’s] no way I should be getting harassed bout my tag being expired, that’s no reason to even search my car in the first place and going to jail about having my medication in the car is insane.” In a second post, he continued, “Ima Sue these people for every dollar I gotta spend bout this sh*t !”

Kodak went further with his thoughts about the arrest in future tweets. “I’m being racially profiled and as a black man in America,” he wrote. “I deserve my freedom especially with everything I do for my community I should be getting love , respect and support from the authorities ! To move freely , not getting arrested for expired tag and dark windows.” In a final message, Kodak accepted some blame in the matter, but still labeled the situation as an attack on him.

“This a self inflicted wound that coulda been prevented !” he added. “My people posta made sure my tags stay up and my tints Just right but @ da same time I should have a pass to drive with tints due to my status AT LEAST !!! I show all this love round here just to get slapped in the face [sad face emoji].”
