Anuel AA, one of the largest names in Latin music, and the UFC today announced an extension of their ground-breaking marketing collaboration. This move will further link Anuel AA with one of the most well-known sports companies in the world.

“I’ve long been a UFC fan, so when the opportunity to collaborate from a business side presented itself, it was a dream come true,” said Anuel. “I aim to become a brand ambassador and connect the Latino community to the sport through my music while continuing to open doors to our culture. This is just the beginning for UFC and Anuel.”

Anuel will join the UFC as an Official Marketing Partner due to the expanded collaboration, providing him with several opportunities to incorporate his trademark branding into important UFC assets. All UFC Pay-Per-Views for the rest of the year will have Anuel’s branding, with broadcast features and branding inside the Octagon®, the home of UFC. Additionally, UFC and Anuel will work together on a range of unique and original pieces of content that will be shared on UFC’s well-liked digital and social media platforms, reaching roughly 200 million followers globally.

Anuel will grant UFC the right to use every song from his three albums (Real Hasta la Muerte, Emmanuel, and Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren) during significant points in UFC live events, such as fighter walk-outs, in exchange for this. Anuel’s upcoming LEGENDS NEVER DIE WORLD TOUR, which begins on August 24 in Houston and visits Hildalgo, Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Seattle, will also prominently involve the UFC as a partner.

City Girls return with a brand new single and music video entitled “Good Love.” The new release features Usher.

The new single is upbeat, bringing the City Girls and Usher in collaboration for a single that encourages fans to get out of their section and dance. In the new video, Usher brings the City Girls to his world of a roller rink, bringing in vibrant colors in their fits and on-point choreography that matches the single.

Last month, City Girls made their long-awaited comeback with “Top Notch,” a new track and music video featuring Fivio Foreign. The track blends the City Girls’ brand of sexy Southern hip-hop and gritty East Coast drill.

This fall, City Girls will join Jack Harlow on Come Home The Kids Miss You Tour, presented by Live Nation. The headlining, fall tour will begin on September 6th and will include dates in Nashville, Los Angeles, Miami, San Diego, and other cities. City Girls will provide support for the tour.

Mary J. Blige has released the video for “Come See About Me” featuring Fabolous from the deluxe edition of her new studio album, GOOD MORNING GORGEOUS.

The “Come See About Me” video follows the 2022 BET Awards when Mary J. Blige won the BET Her Award for “Good Morning Gorgeous,” an honor given to songs that are inspirational and empowering for women. It comes a week after the “Here With Me (feat. Anderson. Paak)” visualizer.

Mary J. Blige has announced her Good Morning Gorgeous tour, which will be co-presented by Hologic and The Black Promoters Collective (BPC).

Beginning on Saturday, September 17 in Greensboro, NC, and ending on Saturday, October 29 in Atlantic City, NJ, Blige will perform in 23 locations with special guests Ella Mai and Queen Naija. Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta are also on the itinerary.

Bill Bellamy Announces New Podcast ‘Top Billin’ With Bill Bellamy’

Top Billin’ With Bill Bellamy, a new audio-visual podcast from Breakbeat Media, will debut on July 6th. Each week, the comedian-actor interviews notable historical and contemporary individuals in music, comedy, sports, and other fields while being filmed on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. While analyzing current events and popular culture, Bellamy and his guests will share personal anecdotes about their lives and occupations.

Usher hopped off his skates and went to the NPR Tiny Desk stage. To close our NPR’s celebration of Black Music Month, Usher, flanked by Vedo, Eric Bellinger, and a live band, performed a medley of hits.

During his time on the stage, Usher performed “You Make Me Wanna…” for the opener before following up with “Superstar,” “U Don’t Have to Call” and “Nice & Slow,” which had a nice piece of audience interaction. Afterward, Usher performed “Confessions” Pt. 1 and 2, before he closed with another trip to the “My Way” album.

With NBA Free agency opening on Thursday, three league stars have inked new extensions with their franchises.

According to ESPN, league MVP and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has agreed to the largest contract in NBA history. Jokic and the Nuggets have agreed to a five-year, $270 million supermax extension, which now ties the big man to the team for six seasons at a total of $303 million. Last season Jokic averaged 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 7.9 assists.

After opting out of this player option, Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has signed a new five-year maximum contract worth $251 million. Beal recently turned 29 years old and has played all 10 years of his career with the Wizards.

Karl-Anthony Town has committed to the Minnesota Timberwolves at $224 million in a supermax deal. That number is attached to the $70 million owed to Towns over the next two seasons.

After a breakout season that made him a household name and superstar, Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant agreed to a five-year designated rookie extension that will bring $231 million. He is guaranteed $192 million and will be supermax eligible which could lead to the $231 million.

With the Phoenix Suns rumored to be in the mix to add Kevin Durant, they locked in their current superstar Devin Booker to a $224 million supermax. The deal will keep Booker with the team over the next four years.

Logan Paul appears to be leaving the boxing to his brother. After a successful wrestling debut alongside The Miz at Wrestlemania, Logan Paul has signed a deal with WWE.

Paul appeared next to Interim WWE CEO & Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon and her husband, wrestling legend and Board of Directors member Triple H, who delivered his signature finger point.

After his win with The Miz at Wrestlemania 38, The Miz turned on Paul and delivered a Skull Crushing Finale. This past Monday on WWE’s Monday Night Raw, The Miz boasted about what he did to Paul, seemingly setting up a match at Summerslam 2022, which occurs on July 30.

Akron Police Shoot Unarmed Jayland Walker 60+ Times, Protests Erupt: Report

The shooting death of an Akron, Ohio man has caused protests to spark in the city. It has been reported that early Monday (June 27) morning, police attempted to stop 25-year-old Jayland Walker for a traffic violation. Akron police alleged that Walker led them on a high-speed chase and they claim that during the incident, Walker fired shots at the officers. After four-and-a-half minutes, Walker allegedly took off on foot before police used their tasers, but authorities claim that within seconds, eight officers fired over 90 shots, striking Walker approximately 60 times.

“Use of force cases are always ugly. This case is ugly times ten,” a police source reportedly told 3News Investigates. Body camera footage from the shooting is expected to arrive within the next week, but an autopsy shows that Walker was hit from his face to his legs.

The news agency reported that police claim bullet casings were found both on the road where the chase occurred and inside Walker’s car. This tragedy is shrouded in mystery, especially considering that the authorities are unclear why Walker allegedly fled the scene. He reportedly didn’t have a criminal record outside of a speeding ticket. A gun was allegedly located inside his vehicle, but he did not have a weapon when he was killed.

“The public is going to have legitimate questions and I’ve got questions,” said Police Chief Steven Mylett. He told reporters that he wanted to sit down with Walker’s family to show them videos from the incident before they became public. “The public is going to see officers discharging their firearms and I know that is going to prompt a whole lot of questions.”

Mylett and Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan released a joint statement:

“We know that no police officer ever wants to discharge their service weapon in the line of duty. And anytime they must, it’s a dark day for our city, for the families of those involved, as well as for the officers. Tragically, we are once again faced with a young man, with his life before him, gone too soon. Every single life is precious, and the loss of any life is absolutely devastating to our entire community. Our prayers are with Jayland Walker’s loved ones, and we offer our sincere condolences to all those who knew him. Our thoughts are also with our Akron police officers and their families. 

There have been several people who have come forward to contest the Akron Police Department’s report on what took place. It was also stated that after shooting Walker, police handcuffed him. The eight officers involved have reportedly been placed on paid leave. Walker’s death has been ruled a homicide by the Medical Examiner. The City of Akron is said to have canceled its upcoming 4th of July celebrations in anticipation of more protests.
