Quavo Connects With French Montana For “Montega” Collab, “Drop Top”

French Montana’s Montega arrived earlier this weekend, complete with previously released singles such as album opener, “Blue Chills” (on which he rapped about his role in diffusing the beef between his two good friends, Drake and Sean Combs), and “Drive By” with 2022 XXL Freshman inductee Babyface Ray.

Another standout collab on the tracklist comes on title number nine, “Drop Top,” which features Migos member Quavo, and is the kind of song you’ll want to blast out of your car with the windows down this summer.

“Drop-top coupe and it came with the wings, yeah / Flawless stones and it came in the rings, yeah,” Montana sings on the chorus, with adlibs coming in hot from his Atlanta-born pal. “Keep a bad bitch and she came with the team, yeah / I got a lot of money and it came with the dreams, yeah.”

Blac Chyna To Play A Hilariously Fitting Role In New Movie

At this point, Blac Chyna must know some things about crisis management. The celebrity seems to hop from one crisis to another. Recently, she was caught on video allegedly kicking a woman in the stomach. She also just attacked Alysia Magen over her Kim Kardashian comment.

So it makes sense that Blac Chyna will be taking the role of a crisis publicist in a new film, Secret Society 2. Apparently, she nails the part.

In the film, Chyna plays a publicist named Vicki who specializes in crisis management and will do anything for her clients. Two of these clients are Celess and Si Si, rising stars in Hollywood who have baggage that could destroy their careers. Just as they’re about to get their big break, things take a turn for the worst.

Chyna will be starring in the film alongside Reyna Love, Erica Pinkett, Jeremy Meeks, and Vivica A. Fox. The film will also include some original music from Chyna, featuring three of her songs. According to Miasha Coleman, an executive producer on the film, the Secret Society team is very happy with Chyna’s performance. “Blac Chyna is definitely no stranger to headlines and publicity, so naturally she nailed her part as a publicist!” Said Coleman. “We are also excited to showcase her music in Secret Society 2. They fit the vibe of the movie perfectly.”

Chyna’s performance is in the can, and the film will be released on Amazon Prime next month, July 29. Let us know what you think of Chyna’s new role in the comments.

Lizzo Teams with Live Nation for $1 Million Donating to Planned Parenthood

Lizzo Takes Part in Tik Tok Challenge by Eating Oreos and Mustard

Following the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Lizzo and Live Nation have teamed together for a $1 million donation to Planned Parenthood.

“I’m pledging $500k from my upcoming tour to Planned Parenthood,” Lizzo announced on Twitter. “Live Nation agreed to match— to make it 1 MILLION dollars.”

She added, “The most important thing is action & loud voices. @plannedparenthood @abortionfunds & organizations like them— will need funding to continue offering services to people who are most harmed by this ban.”

The Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade Friday morning, jeopardizing the ability to get abortions across America. With states already passing legislation to stop abortions, certain states like Illinois and California are highlighting how they are still open to women who need the service. Russ Drops His First Single “Yes Sir” Following His EP

Russ, born Russell James Vitale, is a singer, rapper, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. He’s known for combining both hip-hop and R&B elements into his records, giving his fans the best of both worlds. The 29-year-old is also noted for releasing numerous singles throughout the year. His portfolio is filled with consistent tracks accompanied by cover art that consists of solid colors and minimalistic logos.

In April, he dropped his EP, If Not Now, When? now, it seems that he’s back giving his supporters more persistent music. Yesterday (June 24), Russ released his newest single, “Yes Sir.” The record, produced by pilotkid and Elkan, has a mellow beat joined by various instruments that give it a more diverse sound. For two-and-a-half minutes, Russ takes the laid-back approach as he raps and sings over the track.

His hook is exceptionally catchy, as he sticks to the ‘er’ suffix throughout. He raps, “Yes sir, baby I’m a boss, they say yes sir. So shoutout to myself that’s my investor. Made another mill, let’s run it back like Devin Hester. Pistol in my dresser, baby this is silk not polyester.”

Listen to the song now on Apple Music or Spotify.

While I looked forward and saw all M’s

Lori Harvey & Bella Hadid Link Up & Look Gorgeous At WeHo Launch Party

If you were out and about in West Hollywood earlier this week, you may have laid eyes on Bella Hadid and Lori Harvey, who hit up The Fleur Room in celebration of the launch of the former’s mocktail drink, “Kin.”

Cameras caught Harvey pulling up to the event, looking as gorgeous as ever in a vintage Roberto Cavalli co-ord set, consisting of a blue and white bustier top and tapered trousers in the same colours. The 25-year-old accessorized with strappy white sandals, a simple bangle on her right arm, and a small white bag in her hand.

If you haven’t already heard about Hadid’s latest business venture, she co-founded Kin Euphorics (a rosé-inspired adaptogenic drink) with her business partner Jen Batchelor, coming on board in 2019 after the company’s 2018 launch.

In the past, the Washington, D.C. native has been open about how drinking alcohol caused her to feel like she was “losing control,” which eventually caused her to lean into sobriety.

“I don’t feel the need [to drink anymore] because I know how it will affect me at 3 in the morning when I wake up with horrible anxiety thinking about that one thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school,” she shared back in January.

“There’s just this never-ending effect of, essentially, you know, pain and stress over those few drinks that didn’t really do much, you know?”

As for Harvey, she seems to be on the up-and-up in the wake of her separation from Michael B. Jordan, who followed in her footsteps by erasing all evidence of their relationship from his Instagram feed just a few days ago – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.

“Black Ink Crew” Star Ceaser Emanuel Investigated By Animal Services After Abuse Video

Black Ink Crew has always been a source for drama, but it looks like Caeser Emanuel is now in some serious trouble after a video of him appearing to beat a dog surfaced online. The video has already gotten him fired from the reality TV show, and now it seems like more repercussions might be coming his way.

According to TMZ, the ex-Black Ink Crew star is being investigated by local law enforcement and animal services. A representative for Fulton County Animal Services told the outlet that they’ve been working with South Fulton PD to find more details about what happened at Emanuel’s house.

Ceaser Emanuel is fighting the allegations. His lawyer claimed that the incident captured on video happened during the pandemic lockdown. Fulton County Animal Services, however, say that the statute of limitations has not passed and there is still time to charge him.

Emanuel has said that he believed the video was a “setup.” According to his team, the video was released by an ex-girlfriend who wanted to get revenge because he broke up with her. “I know the footage that everybody’s seen- it looks crazy,” Emanuel said in an encounter with TMZ. “It’s a moment in time which I wish I could take back. I came home and my dogs were attacking each other. I don’t mean play fighting, they were going for each other’s necks, they were trying to kill each other. I separate the dogs, now one of the dogs attacked me… I was nervous and I was scared. So at the end of the day, I was trying to back the dog down.”

According to Emanuel’s reps, the Fulton County police have found that his dogs are safe and healthy. The rep also noted, “Although his actions were not appropriate at all, [Ceasar] is sincerely apologetic and feels extremely bad. He is dealing with death threats which is causing him fear and depression. His only goal was to build an empire to help build jobs and bring the black community in the tattoo industry successful given that the community is limited there.”

H.E.R Covers “Dance To The Music” For New “Minions:The Rise of Gru” Movie

The Despicable Me movie franchise started in 2010. Focused on the life of a supervillain and his gang of minions, the film has had three sequels and is gearing up for its fourth. On July 1, Minions: The Rise of Gru will hit theaters across the nation.

The hour and 30-minute long movie takes place in the 70s and captures the life of a young Gru trying to join a group of elite villains. When things don’t go as planned, it is up to his posse of little yellow people to come to his rescue.

Like all movies, Minions: The Rise of Gru comes with a lengthy soundtrack consisting of records that perfectly match the tone of the movie. They’ve only released five out of the 19 records from the film– one being a cover of the late 60s song “Dance to the Music.” R&B singer, H.E.R., has been chosen to sing over the song that Sly and the Family Stone originally produced.

The beat, being a mixture of disco and funk, paired with H.E.R.’s soulful voice, made the track come together perfectly. While it’s two minutes long, it is focused on the variety of instruments that were pertinent for making a good record during the 70s.

Listen to the fun track on Apple Music & Spotify.

All we need is a drummer
For people who only need a beat
I’m gonna add a little guitar

Brandy Roasts Ray J For Verzuz Performance “Listen To Your Big Sis Sometimes”

Ray J Thinks Kim Kardashian Rocking Braids is a 'Compliment' to Black Culture, Brandy Also Defends Her

Sometimes, the older sibling does it best.

Thursday night’s Verzuz battle has been making its way around social media, and not in a good way. The pre-show featuring Ray J, Bobby V, Pleasure P, and Sammie caught the audience’s attention not because it was necessarily good, but because of Ray J’s performance.

Ray J took the stage and attempted to sing “One Wish.” However, this was truly an attempt as Ray J failed to hit a single note from the song.

Ray J once again became a trending topic on Twitter, with many asking if he was serious, and asking why he was holding his child on stage.

Regardless, Ray J didn’t take the jokes personally and even reposted a video making fun of him on his Instagram. His big sis, Brandy, jumped in the comments section asking Ray J why he didn’t follow any of her instructions.

“Bro, Pops told me that you didn’t drink none of the tea I made for you,” Brandy commentsed. “He also told me that you were talking all day when I specifically said NO TALKING and only drink water and the special tea I made for you at four in the freaking morning. Caught red handed. If I had one wish, is for you to listen to me. Lord have mercy. I love you but we are gonna have a serious conversation when I’m [off] of vocal rest.”

Ray J then deleted Brandy’s comment, and thats when she jumped back into the comments section, urging her little brother to “listen to your big sis sometimes.”
