Suspected Tulsa Shooter’s Motive Was Allegedly Back Pain

Police say the suspected Tulsa mass shooter complained to his surgeon, Dr. Preston Phillips hours before killing him on the Saint Francis Hospital campus. Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin says the gunman, Michael Louis recently had back surgery and was upset with his doctor because he was still in pain.

Louis was armed with an AR-style rifle, which he used to kill two doctors, a patient, and a receptionist on Wednesday. He then took his own life. According to authorities police say he bought the assault-style rifle the same day as the shooting. A note found on Louis spelled out that his intent was to kill Dr. Phillips, and was furious because there was still pain after his back surgery.

Chief Franklin says it took officers longer than usual to find the suspected shooter because of how big the floor of the hospital was. He said the suspect began firing as soon as he entered the building. One of the victims died holding the back door of the hospital open so others could escape.

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford released a statement saying he’s heartbroken and praying for the families of the victims that were taken during yesterday’s attack. Governor Kevin Stitt called the shooting an act of senseless violence and hatred. Stitt also ordered all flags in Oklahoma to half-staff to honor the victims.

Jeannie Mai Reveals Her & Jeezy’s Daughter On Camera For First Time

Jeannie Mai and Jeezy have been an item for quite a while now, and they are certainly a power couple when it comes to the entertainment and music worlds. The two have gone through some health scares but they have been able to overcome all of it. Just a few months ago back in January, Mai and Jeezy welcomed their first child into the world. They had a baby girl named Monaco and since the birth, the two have been keeping their child away from the public eye.

Showing the public your child can definitely be a daunting task as there is no one more out of pocket than people online. Sometimes, privacy is just the best option for all parties involved, and that is exactly how Mai and Jeezy felt, at least at first.

Today, Mai took to her YouTube channel and dropped a video in which she showed off her daughter for the very first time. In the 15-minute video titled “Meet My Baby, Monaco!” Mai and her mother got to talk about Monaco and what a bundle of joy she has been over the last few months. Mai has talked a lot about motherhood since giving birth and now, fans can finally put a face to a name.

It’s clear that Mai and Jeezy have a lot of pride when it comes to their new child. With Mai’s YouTube channel in mind, we’re sure we will get to see more of Monaco as she grows up.

Remy Ma Speaks Out On Her Doja Cat Comments

Remy Ma stirred up some controversy earlier this year when she came out and gave her thoughts on Doja Cat. The veteran artist believes that Doja Cat isn’t a rapper. These comments were made on Drink Champs and while some may see this as a diss, Remy was quick to point out that she believes that Doja is a fantastic artist who makes some pretty great records.

“I don’t think she’s a rapper,” Remy said. “Let’s be clear with that. They put her in the rapper category, I don’t think she’s a rapper. But she makes dope records, and I think she’s dope.”

Recently, Remy was on the Black Compass show where she talked about battle rap and wanting to empower female artists. That’s when one of the hosts asked Remy to address the Doja Cat situation. After all, her fanbase was pretty upset about it, and it led to a whole debate about Doja’s music.

“I thought I was giving [her] a compliment,” she explained. “Her whole entourage or fan base came for my life. I was like, ‘I thought I said something good!’”

With that being said, it is clear that Remy has a good view of Doja Cat’s music. After all, Doja has won tons of awards and is already a superstar in her own right.

Perhaps these two can make a song in the future and put the past to rest.

Kevin Durant Claps Back At Stephen A. Smith’s Michael Jordan Comments

Stephen A. Smith delivered one of his more disrespectful hot takes in quite some time the other day as he said that Michael Jordan made the NBA worse. This was a pretty wild statement to make, although Smith says he was simply referring to the fact that Jordan made the game a lot more individualistic which he believes ushered in a bad time for the league.

Michael Jordan is responsible, as much as anybody, for changing the game for the worse,” Smith declared.

This is a take that riled up a lot of people, and today, Kevin Durant decided to clap back. As you can see down below, Durant says that the true culprits when it comes to ruining the game is Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless, and Shannon Sharpe. KD has a distaste for analysts like them, and he truly let that be known with his most recent comments.

“My theory is that guys like steve, skip and Shannon have changed the game for the worse,” Durant said. “Playas like Stephen and Michael can only push the game forward.”

Durant is certainly allowed to feel this way, especially given the fact that these are the analysts who constantly question his greatness. We’re sure there are plenty of others who agree, so if you do, let us know in the comments below.
