Megan Thee Stallion Leaves Little To The Imagination In Her Striking ‘Plan B’ Video

So far, a lot of skin has been involved when it comes to Megan Thee Stallion’s single “Plan B.” First, she announced the tune by posing naked in a bathtub. Then, promo images shared in the lead-up to the video’s premiere saw Meg wearing more clothes this time, but not a lot more. Now, the “Plan B” video has arrived and it stays on theme.

The clip is aesthetically uncomplicated, as it’s mostly Meg in a dark room, showing off her physical assets in lingerie and sometimes less. It’s striking, though, and she also makes use of water and more for some intriguing visual moments.

Lyrically, the tune sees Meg opting to not be tied down to a man, as the first verse begins, “Dear f*ck n****, still can’t believe I used to f*ck with ya / Poppin’ Plan B’s ’cause I ain’t plan to be stuck with ya.” The song’s release came after Meg debuted it live at Coachella, which she teased by saying, “I got this song that I recorded and every time I play it for a woman they start jumping and clapping. I think I wanna perform it at Coachella for the first time before I actually drop it.”

The Cool Kids’ Chuck Inglish Delivers A Laid-Back Performance Of ‘Driver’ For ‘UPROXX Sessions’

Rap fans of a certain age will certainly appreciate this week’s UPROXX Sessions guest. Back during the blog rap era, when XXL was just kicking off its tradition of finding an annual class of freshman rappers to promote as the future of hip-hop, The Cool Kids, (Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks) were considered among the exemplars of this group of future-minded, nostalgia-influenced, internet-raised trailblazers. Since then, we’ve seen both members take on solo projects, expand their sounds, reunite, and experience a resurgence of sorts, but they never truly went away and they remain near and dear to our hearts.

Chuck Inglish dropped by Uproxx Studios to remind us of that fact with a coolly confident performance of “Driver” from the duo’s March album, Baby Oil Staircase/Chillout. Initially released in 2020 featuring Ye Ali, the single was repurposed for the group’s triple-disc comeback album, which consisted of Before Shit Got Weird and Baby Oil Staircase/Chillout. Before Shit Got Weird featured both performing as a group for the first time since 2017, while the latter split release consisted of two solo projects from Chuck and Mike, a la Outkast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below in 2003.

Watch Chuck Inglish’s performance of “Driver” above.

UPROXX Sessions is Uproxx’s performance show featuring the hottest up-and-coming acts you should keep an eye on. Featuring creative direction from LA promotion collective, Ham On Everything, and taking place on our “bathroom” set designed and painted by Julian Gross, UPROXX Sessions is a showcase of some of our favorite performers, who just might soon be yours, too.

Post Malone Opens Up About TikTok, Says It’s “So Hard” For Him

While talking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe to promote his upcoming album Twelve Carat Toothache, Post Malone discussed how he struggles to use TikTok as a means to promote and release music, despite knowing and seeing the benefits amongst his peers.

“There’s so many different ways to get people to listen to your music. And TikTok is so f**king huge… Everything, no, it’s great. And you have people check on my new song and it goes f**king viral and that changes people’s lives. And you discover talented people there and everything. But it’s just so hard for me to make something natural,” said Post.

The Beerbongs and Bentleys rapper isn’t the only artist to go public about their issues with TikTok. Charlie XCX and Halsey are also among those musicians who’ve complained about TikTok.

“After a tremendous amount of f**k sh*t, ‘So Good’ is finally coming out June 9th. Video dropping the next day. And now I can go back to using TikTok for my real plan: Using witchcraft to take over the world,” said Halsey in reference to her record label not allowing her song to release until it created a “viral moment.”

Although Malone noted that social media does help launch careers, the rapper also referred back to the struggles it caused him in 2020 when he was forced to take a break from all platforms.

“A platform is a terrible thing to waste, especially in times of heartache in our country and the entire world, and especially when someone has the ability to speak out. Over the past few months I have been trying to distance myself from social media for my mental health, and by doing this and letting others have more control over posts on my pages,” the rapper wrote via Instagram at the time.

Check out the full interview with Zane below, and stay tuned for the new album to arrive tomorrow, June 3.

Draymond Green Slams Jimmy Butler For His Now Infamous Shot

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green showed little mercy to Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler after his Game 7 loss in the Eastern Conference Final to the Boston Celtics last Sunday. The game came down to the wire, Boston holding onto a two point lead with 16 seconds on the clock, 98-96. Butler grabbed a defensive board, and drove up the court, and chose an open pull up jumper to take the lead, which came up short.

That miss proved to be the dagger on a remarkable season for the Heat, who came into the playoffs as the team with the best record in the East. It was also a tragic end for Butler, as his electrifying performances were key to Miami’s deep run in the postseason.

But for Draymond Green, who Butler would have faced in the Finals if that shot had found its way home, he said he was unimpressed with Butler’s shot selection in the key moment of the game. On his podcast The Draymond Green Show, the former Defensive Player of the Year held nothing back as he critiqued Butler’s performance.

“I personally think that shot shouldn’t have been taken,” Green said.  “And the reason I thought that it was a bad shot was because that shot right there, that was it. That was like — the shot simply said, ‘We’re either winning this, or we’re going home.’ And once the shot was missed, it just felt like somebody took a little staple or a little safety pin and just poked right at the balloon, and the air just left out of the building once that shot was missed, as opposed to Jimmy Butler, who we know is absolutely amazing at getting to the rim and even better at getting to the rim and getting fouled.

“And so you have a backpedaling Al Horford with a ton of space with your shooters running to fill it in, and you’re sitting at 35 points,” Green continued. “You’re at home, crowd’s into it. If Jimmy Butler drives that basketball and scores or if Jimmy even drives, the likelihood of you getting a foul call — and you’re on your home court, and Jimmy’s great at getting fouled — is significantly higher. And so if Jimmy drives that basketball and he scores, or he gets fouled, and the game is tied, all of the pressure then turns to the Boston Celtics.”

Regardless of how you feel about his final shot selection, nobody can deny the impact Butler has had this year on the Miami organization. It will be interesting to see how he and the Heat bounce back after such a heartbreaking defeat.

Gabrielle Union Teases Fans With Seductive Backside Photo

Gabrielle Union has been in the business for a very long time although she has yet to lose her youthful exuberance. It is very easy to let the Hollywood world get you down, however, Union has been able to avoid the BS and continue living her best life with her children as well as her husband, Dwyane Wade.

D-Wade and Union have been a power couple for a very long time. The two have a great philosophy when it comes to raising children and it is crystal clear that they have a partnership that simply works for them. Through all of the trials and tribulations, they are able to keep things going which is truly admirable.

Wade has also become Union’s photographer and recently, he took a picture that was made to get people talking on social media. As you can see down below, Union has her back to the camera and is completely nude. Her butt is completely hidden by the water of the pool, although it’s clear that Union is trying to tease the audience. The caption “Back to our regularly scheduled programming” really hammers that home.

Union and Wade are already enjoying the warmer months and we’re sure this trend will continue. If we get more of these photos, then no one will be complaining.
