Adrian Peterson Won’t Face Domestic Violence Charges: Details

In February of this year, Adrian Peterson was on a flight with his wife Ashley during Super Bowl Sunday. According to TMZ, Peterson and his wife got into an argument, which police say turned physical. Ashely was left with a mark on her hand, and Peterson was ultimately arrested and even spent a brief period of time in jail.

The case was promptly given to the Los Angeles City Attorney, and there was a chance that Peterson could end up facing some misdemeanor charges in relation to the case. In the end, however, that is not what happened as TMZ is reporting that Peterson has been able to skirt charges in his case.

Instead of being hit with charges, Peterson was able to negotiate a better deal. Over the next six months, the former NFL superstar will have to go and take 20 courses that touch on topics such as alcohol counseling and even domestic violence. These kinds of deals are typically quite common, and there is no doubt that this was a better option than being hit with formal charges.

This is still a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for more updates on this story, and others throughout the NFL world.

Artists from Dreamville are set to appear, as well as DaBaby, Freddie Gibbs, J.I.D, Saba, IDK, Latto, and Tee Grizzley, just to name a few.

Yo! made its initial debut in August of 1988 when it was hosted by Fab 5 Freddy, who was followed by Ed Lover, Doctor Dre, and T Money. At the time, it was one of MTV’s most popular programs, interviewing huge names like Tupac Shakur, N.W.A, and Leaders of the New School.

The original series came to an end in 1995 and went on to run as just Yo! in a repackaged format from 1996 to 1999. On its 20th anniversary in 2008, MTV brought the hit show back for a limited time, and in 2018, a concert experience was hosted at Barclays Center in New York to commemorate the 30th anniversary.

Yo! MTV Raps‘ reboot, hosted by Conceited and DJ Diamond Kuts will arrive on Paramount Plus on Tuesday, May 24th. Check out the trailer above, and let us know which performer you’re most excited to see appear in the upcoming episodes in the comment section below.

Danny Brown & JPEGMAFIA Announce Joint Project, Premiere New Song

We’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new album from Danny Brown but it seems like he has more than one in the works. Over the weekend, the rapper appeared at Smoker’s Club Festival in West Hollywood where he was joined by JPEGMAFIA on stage. Together, they debuted a brand new collaboration and announced that they were preparing for a joint project in the near future.

JPEGMAFIA previously produced Danny Brown’s uknowhatimsayin? cut “3 Tearz” ft. Run The Jewels. Peggy also collaborated with Danny on the song “Negro Spirituals” off of the same album. However, collaborating on a full project together is a full-circle moment for JPEGMAFIA. During a 2019 interview with HNHH, Danny Brown revealed that JPEGMAFIA was actually in attendance of one of his worst sets to date before his rap career jumped off.

“I’m super inspired by him, and I also inspire him. One of the worst shows I ever played in my life was in Dallas, Texas, I was opening up for Childish Gambino,” he said. “They were chanting to get me off the stage, you know what I’m saying? So whatever, I felt so bad about that show it made me question what the fuck I was doing with my life. But I come to find out that JPEGMAFIA was in the crowd. Peggy! A young Peggy was in the crowd. He saw that shit and said he thought it was the tightest shit he ever saw. I think he was in the military or something at the time, it inspired him to get more into this rap shit.”

Interestingly enough, in the same interview, Danny Brown revealed that it seemed unlikely that they would work on a joint project together. Clearly, his attitude changed but even at the time, he expressed his gratitude for his working relationship with Peggy. “There’s strength in numbers, man, if you got your brothers with you. You’ll make doper shit. You bounce off of each other, you inspire each other. Like he played some dope shit for me I’m like “Oh shit! Now I gotta make some shit.” So that’s what we do. I think we bring the best out of each other, to be honest,” he said.

The Weeknd Praises Ariana Grande: “That Woman Is A Beast On Pro Tools”

The Weeknd shared major praise for Ariana Grande’s work ethic on Twitter, Sunday, bouncing off a broader compliment made by producer Kenny Beats. The Canadian singer has worked with Grande on his remix to “Save Your Tears,” “Off The Table,” and “Love Me Harder.”

“I’ve seen Ariana work in real time. That woman is a BEAST on pro tools,” he tweeted at Beats.

Pro Tools is a software program used in music creation and production for sound recording, editing, and mastering.

Beats had been giving a shoutout, not only to Grande, but to female producers in the music industry in general.

“Ariana Grande is insane at comping vocals with 100 stacks. Rosalia engineers herself at the highest level. King Princess will walk around a room and play everything + track alone. Doja has beats of her own that are unreal. WE NEED TO TALK MORE ABOUT WOMEN PRODUCERS EVERYDAY,” Beats wrote on Twitter.

King Princess responded to Beats’s tweet by thanking him for the support: “Love you @kennybeats and it’s rad to have people like you big upping people like us. It’s easy to forget that ARTISTS, and especially women, lgbtq+ and poc artists put work in at the studio and often get overlooked as producers.”

Grande is currently shooting for the upcoming Wicked musical, in which she will play the role of Glinda. The film will also star Cynthia Erivo and be directed by Jon M. Chu.
