EST Gee Is On The Offensive With EST DeMike In Their Fearless ‘Never Scared’ Video
Last year, EST Gee and 42 Dugg proved to be one of rap’s hottest newcomers with their respective projects Bigger Than Life Or Death and Free Dem Boyz. Both being signees to Yo Gotti’s CMG label, it’s only right that they joined forces last month for their Last Ones Left project. It delivered 17 songs with most being collaborations with Gee and Dugg while others were individual efforts from the rappers. Almost a month after they dropped Last Ones Left, Gee unloads a video for one of his solo cuts from the album.
EST Gee lays off a video for “Never Scared” with EST DeMike. Both rappers are a part of the Everybody Shine Together collective, and in the video, they stand tall as a fearless duo who won’t back down from the opposition no matter the danger that lays ahead of them. The video also features the expected collection of luxury cars, jewelry, and money to really round things out.
The new video joins “Whole Gang Buss,” “Thump Sh*t,” “Everybody Shooters Too,” and “Free The Shiners” as songs from Last Ones Left to receive the visual treatment.
You can watch the video for “Never Scared” above.
Last Ones Left is out now via CMG/Warlike/Interscope. You can stream it here.
42 Dugg is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
NBA Ref Scott Foster Made A Jack Harlow Music Video After Saying He Didn’t Know Who He Was
Rapper Jack Harlow’s appearance at Game 1 between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks was one of the game’s oddest subplots. Harlow was courtside for the game and the game’s referees apparently had no idea who he was. (Which, considering the two referees heard saying they don’t know who he is are two older white guys, fair.) And then Jack Harlow had his own fun with them not recognizing him.
One of the referees, Scott Foster, then attempted to have his own fun with it, resulting in…this.
We would like to refute @SportsCenter‘s claim that we don’t know you. pic.twitter.com/YRUvCDzq1y

To someone’s credit, there was some effort put into the video. It’s somewhat a homage of sorts to a scene Harlow’s video for ‘Nail Tech’ with Foster playing the row of Harlow and the song playing over the scene.
And then it gets a little bit weird. It cuts to Foster in the car with three other referees, where Foster attempts to lip sync part of ‘Nail Tech’. Attempt is the key word here because he’s a bit off trying to rap just a few lines of the song and notably fumbles his way through the line “she down low three-point stance/I’m back there doing Jack dance.’ Which, again, makes sense as Foster is an older guy who almost certainly never had heard ‘Nail Tech’ before deciding to be a part of this social media stunt.
Really, this whole video is the Steve Buscemi ‘How do you do, fellow kinds?’ meme come to life. Credit to Foster for trying to have fun with it, but boy this feels forced. May I suggest, if Foster wants another crack at this, recreating the made jump shot scene from the song ‘Tyler Herro’ with Tyler Herro next time he’s assigned to a Miami Heat game? That feels more his speed.
Keyshia Cole Went To The Hospital After Experiencing “The Worst Anxiety Attacks”
There has been a lot going on in Keyshia Cole’s camp in recent years as the beloved singer readies her final album. Fans were disappointed to hear that the “Love” hitmaker was hanging up her microphone, at least for the time being, to focus on other efforts. Cole’s career has spanned decades as she emerged out of the Bay Area to become a global superstar, but she has assured her supporters that she will still be around, just expanding her portfolio in other avenues.
The single mom has been juggling a stacked schedule and according to Cole, she wasn’t aware of just how that has impacted her physical, mental, and emotional health.
On her Instagram Story, Cole revealed that she recently visited the emergency room for chest pains, only to learn that she has been experiencing severe anxiety.
“I’m so proud of getting a few hours sleep, literally have been getting None!” she wrote. “So not ok. SMH. And, have been having the worst anxiety attacks. When I can literally feel my heart hurting. Had to take my ass to the emergency room. They gave me damn medicine for anxiety [face palm emoji] I didn’t KNOW wtf was happening to me.”
Cole isn’t the only artist to speak about dealing with anxiety or similar struggles. In 2021, Cole lost her father, reportedly to COVID-19 complications, and her mother, Frankie Lons, to a drug overdose. The singer’s fans have continues to shower her with messages of support.
Several People Test Positive For COVID After Attending White House Correspondent’s Dinner: Report
Another White House Correspondent’s Dinner is in the books, but according to several reports, it may have been a COVID-19 superspreader. Although news of people becoming sick or dying of COVID is no longer a hot topic in the mainstream media, there are still tens of thousands of people worldwide who are struggling with their health due to the pandemic.
The New York Times reported that 2,600 people were invited to the White House for its annual dinner, and days after the gathering, several people have tested positive for COVID. “Steven Portnoy of CBS News Radio, who leads the White House Correspondents’ Association, said the cases he knew of so far numbered in the ‘single digits.'”
Two positive cases that have been shared publicly include “Steve Herman, a chief national correspondent for Voice of America” and “Jonathan Karl, ABC News’s chief Washington correspondent.”
The dinner’s attendees were reportedly asked to prove proof of vaccination and same-day COVID test results, but wearing a mask was optional. Karl was reportedly close to both President Joe Biden and the event’s host, Trevor Noah, so it is being encouraged by the White House for anyone who had contact with Karl to immediately get tested and take precautions. Karl reportedly shook the president’s hand at the dinner, among others.
During the dinner, Noah joked: “Do you read any of your own newspapers?… You guys spent the last two years telling everyone the importance of wearing masks and avoiding large indoor gatherings. Then the second someone offers you a free dinner, you all turn into Joe Rogan.”

Buddy Battles The Law And His Evil Twin In The Claymation Video For ‘Bad News’
Buddy had a spotlight moment in 2018 with the release of his debut album Harlon & Alondra. It was yet another example of an excellent debut album from new artists in the 2010s that documented their experiences growing up in the West (see: Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid M.A.A.D. City, YG’s My Krazy Life, and Ty Dolla Sign’s Free TC). However, after Harlon & Alondra arrived, Buddy would go almost four years without a project before dropping his sophomore effort Superghetto earlier this year. It was a brief effort with just ten songs to its name, but in the spirit of keeping the album alive, Buddy returns with a new video for it.
Just a month after Superghetto was made available to the world, Buddy shares a new visual for “Bad News.” It’s a claymation effort that begins with a fight between a police officer and what appears to be Buddy’s love interest. Soon enough, Buddy himself is fighting a cop, but that’s not all the tussling he does for a video. The visual concludes with an unsuccessful fight between the rapper and his evil twin.
The new video arrives after Buddy announced the tour dates for Superghetto. His string of shows will begin on June 15 in Oakland, California and continue for a couple of a weeks before concluding on June 30 in Chicago, IL.
You can watch the video for “Bad News” above.
Superghetto is out now via RCA Records. You can stream it here.
Pusha T Believes Cardi B Deserved Grammys Best Rap Album Win Over “DAYTONA”
After shutting down people who attempted to pit her against Billie Eilish, Cardi B is once again being mentioned. Back in 2019, Cardi’s debut album Invasion of Privacy took home the Grammy for Best Rap Album, beating out Pusha’s acclaimed DAYTONA. It was a controversial win where Cardi also took home the trophy over Travis Scott, Mac Miller, and Nipsey Hussle, but Pusha insists that Cardi deserved her win.
Over the years, Pusha T has been asked about this moment in music award history and he doubles down on Cardi deserving her win.

Although he didn’t reign victorious, Pusha believes that the Grammys “got the Rap nominations and the Rap winner right.”
“Cardi deserved that. When you look at the lineup…you had Cardi B, you had Travis Scott, you had Mac Miller, you had Nipsey’s Victory Lap, and you had DAYTONA. Anybody could’ve won, and I couldn’t have argued!” He added, “I was actually going to the gym with her joint in my headphones like, ‘Oh yeah, she killed this joint.’ It was just about what the final voters gravitated towards, but it was fair. The lineup was fair.”
Pusha also added that at that time, he wasn’t as popular as Cardi B in the mainstream. Yet, he was grateful that DAYTONA was even considered to be in the running because he felt as if he was up against contenders who deserved that recognition.
“I endured so much in Hip Hop, just in these past few years. I’m embracing it,” Pusha said. “I have really watched people be scared to be next to me. I’ve watched people be really shaky about everything. … I’ve been through a lot, bro. A lot. And I don’t care! I don’t care, but I’ve actually been through it.”

Justin Bieber Opens Up About His Connection to Tupac
Justin Bieber is feeling like Pac.
When it comes to his faith, the pop superstar shares a lot in common with the late rap legend. During an interview with Power 106’s “Power Mornings Show,” Bieber opened up about his spiritual connection to Pac.
“As you know, I’ve always been a big Tupac fan,” he said. “I definitely have grown in my journey with my faith and I definitely feel like we have some similarities when it comes to just our conviction about wanting to tell people about God’s love for them.”
Bieber has previously shared his love for Pac, who he was introduced to at a young age. “My dad loved Tupac, so he introduced me to Tupac when I was really young,” he told Angie Martinez in a 2012 interview. “I could spit a Tupac verse when I was like eight years old.”
He even performed an acoustic cover of Pac’s classic “Thugz Mansion” during a visit to BBC Radio 1 in 2016.
On Friday, Bieber dropped his Don Toliver collaboration “Honest.” “He just has this like little bop about him and he’s very unique, he’s very Houston,” he told Apple Music of his collaborator. “I just love his melodies. He has a really amazing cadence to his songs and his music. And I’m just a genuine fan.”
The single arrives ahead of his next album, which is nearing completion. “I don’t think there’s a date yet, but I do know that we’re wrapping it up. It’s almost done,” he said of the follow-up to 2021’s Justice. “It sounds really good. I’m really excited about it. I got a lot of cool features and yeah, it should be dropping not too long from now.”
In addition to Toliver, the album will feature a “wicked guitar solo” from John Mayer. “He’s someone who I’ve looked up to for a long time,” said Bieber, who is currently on his “Justice World Tour.”
