Saweetie Explains The Inspiration Behind Her Buzz Cut

In an interview at Power 106 in LA  with radio personality Bryana, The Closer rapper explained that meditation is what inspired her to shed the energy attached to her hair. When asked about what inspired her to completely do the buzz cut sweetie answer with an unexpected response. “Meditation, as crazy as it sounds, I found so much clarity in myself,  I wanted to start over and I did research about hair and hair holds a lot of energy and I really wanted to just to feel new and fresh with this new music, I won’t say new me but elevated me” She says.  “ I really just wanted to start over again.”  What does elevated Saweetie look like you ask? The new calm Saweeetie simply responds with:  “She meditates she’s centered, she has clarity she knows what she wants, she puts her foot down, I feel like before I discovered meditation it was just ‘yes, yes I’ll do it’ no matter how bad my body felt if the opportunity was great I just said yes and I kept running down my mental, my spiritual, my physical.  But how am I going to continue to work if I’m deflated so I think that I have established more boundaries around me in the mental space, in the business space as well and I think everyone should do that.  See the interview below.

15-Year-Old TikToker Kills Herself While Recording Video

According to a report from Vice. a 15-year-old Mexican girl accidentally shot and killed herself while trying to film herself holding a 9mm fully automatic UZI sub machine gun for a TikTok video.

The girl, Yasmin Esmeralda, was visiting her grandmother’s house in Guasave, Sinaloa when she asked her younger brother to record her holding the weapon. A single accidental shot went of while she held the weapon, killing the 15-year-old.

Sinaloa’s state prosecutor Sara Bruna Quinonez Estrada said to Vice, “The fact that there were weapons in the house, that weren’t controlled, is the responsibility of the adults who knew there were children in the house. That she chose to record a clip [in that way] shows that our youth is immersed in [drug cartel] culture. It’s what they hear about at all hours.”

Young Thug Offers Aid To African Students Stranded In Ukraine

Young Thug is pushing towards helping African immigrants who’ve been stranded in Ukraine and prevented from fleeing the country amid Russia’s invasion. Per Business Insider and multiple first-hand accounts shared across social media, the Ukrainian authorities have enforced a “Ukrainians First” policy which has prevented Black people in the country from being able to cross the border to Poland.

Young Thug took to Instagram where he put out a call to his fellow peers in the music industry to come together in helping African students who are being blocked from leaving Ukraine. “If some of my rap brothers are in I’m willing to help Africans get out of Ukraine however I can sense [sic] they not letting us pass,” he wrote. “Who ever holds the info for these movements please contact me ASAP I’m ready.”Thug received several responses from Strick, Kevin Liles, and entrepreneur PJ Kev who reposted his Story onto theirs.

Several African students who’ve shared their stories on social media have stated that authorities have blocked Black people from entering trains or busses at the Ukraine-Poland border. Several videos have emerged revealing that even women with babies as young as 3 months old are being blocked from shelter or transportation. There have been similar stories from Indian students who’ve also tried to leave the country amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

[WATCH] Rick Ross Uses Chainsaw to Cut His Own Trees and Save Money

Somebody get Rick Ross a home care reality TV series. Rozay wanted some trees cut down at his home because it was throwing off the vibe. After receiving a quote of $1,000 a tree, making his total of 10 trees to $10,000, Ross decided to take the matters into his own hands.

“I told my homie, you go to Home Depot and you go get me the biggest mother fuckin saw there is with a big chain and I’m going to cut the mother fuckers down,” Ross said when telling the story to his fans.

Rozay would then give a shoutout to Kanye and ask for some of the boots he has been wearing before he goes to make room for his animals. In the next clip, Ross is going full Texas Chainsaw Massacre on a tree, which ultimately timbers over. You can see all of the comical home improvement below.

SOURCE SPORTS: Top Boxer Vasiliy Lomachenko Joins Defense Battalion in Ukraine

Olympic and boxing champion Vasiliy Lomachenko is in Ukraine and joined a territorial defense battalion to defend against the Russian invasion. According to ESPN, Lomachenko was in Greece at the start of the invasion and flew into Bucharest, traveled through Romania, and reached his family in Odessa.

Earlier in February, Lomachenko agreed to an undisputed lightweight championship title fight with George Kammbosos. That match is currently set for June 4 in the United States. Over the weekend, Lomachenko uploaded an image to Facebook in military fatigues and with a gun, additional soldiers can be seen in the background.

Last week, boxing champions Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko joined the defense of their home nation of Ukraine. “I’m calling to all international partners to observe this tragedy that is happening nowadays in Ukraine,” Wladimir said. ” … I just want to tell you we must stay united against this aggression, against Russian aggression. Don’t let it continue happening in Ukraine. Don’t let it happen in Europe and eventually the world. United, we’re strong. Support Ukraine.”

Nike has revealed the 2022 Doernbecher Freestyle collection. The line of sneakers upholds a collaboration between Nike and the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, which has raised over $30 million for the facility and given over 100 patients the opportunity to design their own sneakers.

The 17th collection is headlined by Catalina Vazquez, Zoe Taaffe, Cidni O’Brie, Maylee Phelps, David Phelps, Ayman Wamala and Michael Wilson. The sneakers designed are the Nike SB Stefan Janoski, Nike Dunk Low, Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka, NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4, Nike LeBron 19, Nike Blazer Mid ’77, and the Air Jordan 5 Low.

eBay has the Doernbecher Freestyle XVII Collection and the special additions unveiled on February 25. The eBay auction will be active from 4:00 p.m. PST on Saturday, February 26 through 4:00 p.m. PST on Saturday, March 5. The Doernbecher Freestyle XVII Collection’s sneakers, apparel, and equipment will be available for purchase in stores later this spring.

Will Smith Celebrated by Denzel Washington: “This Is Your Year”

Will Smith won the Screen Actors Guild award for Best Actor for his role as Richard Williams in the film King Richard. In a tearful speech, Smith highlighted the win as “one of the greatest moments” of his career and touched on what it meant to portray Williams.

“Richard Williams is a dreamer like no one you’ve ever known,” said Smith. “He has a power of belief that borders on insanity and sometimes tips over the border, which is absolutely necessary to take something from impossible to possible.”

In the win, Smith won over Andrew Garfield, Benedict Cumberbatch, Javier Bardem, and Denzel Washington. Speaking with PEOPLE, Smith highlighted special words he received from Washington in the recent time they have spent together. “This is your year,” Smith said Washington, his mentor, told him.

“He just hugged me and he said, ‘I’m so happy for you. Just love who you’re becoming,’” Smith said. “He knew me years ago, I would go to Denzel for advice so he’s seen me through the years and he was just telling me how proud he is of who I’ve become and what I’ve become. He was saying that he felt like a weight was lifted off of his shoulders somehow.”
