Drake is $1.2 million richer. Hitting Instagram, The Boy revealed he placed $1,150,000 on the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl.
“I can’t bet against the swifties @stake,” Drake wrote.
That bet was good, bringing him in $2,346,000 in the win. You can see his celebration below.

Patrick Mahomes has added another ring to his finger and MVP trophy to his name as the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII. The Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

The Chiefs marched down the field in overtime behind numerous short passes and yards after catch. After Travis Kelce moved the chiefs into 1st and goal, it took one past to Mecole Hardman to secure the win.
“Our mindset was: Go win the game right here,” Mahomes said. “Once we got that ball — we fell short in regulation, we’re not going to do that again. We’re going to go out there and win the game.”

Mahomes threw for 333 yards on 34 of 46 attempts. He also had two touchdowns and one interception. Mahomes also added 66 yards rushing to his MVP bid. Mahomes is now tied with Joe Montana for three Super Bowl MVPs. Two behind Tom Brady.
The Chiefs are the first team since the 2004-05 New England Patriots to go back-to-back as champions.
“I guess at this point, I take it for granted, but I know we’re in every single game I’ve ever played in with him, no matter what the score is, no matter how much time is left,” Kelce said. “Let’s go win this thing.”

On this date in 1991, New Orleans rap icon Percy “Master P” Miller released his first album entitled Get Away Clean on his independently established No Limit Records.
Featuring his own NOLA-based crew TRU (The Real Untouchables), who just happened to include himself and his brothers Silkk The Shocker and C-Murder, Get Away Clean was the first release from No Limit Records and distributed through the Oakland, California-based In A Minute Records.
The 14 track, the underground project was a hit in the hustling spots but never received any commercial success like any of the other post “Ice Cream Man” No Limit releases.
Salute to Mr. Miller and the rest of his No Limit family for bringing us such a timeless piece of Hip Hop history!

Music is always a huge part of the Super Bowl, but that was especially true this weekend. Post Malone, Reba McEntire, and Andra Day sang pre-game; Kaskade was the in-game DJ; Usher crushed it with his halftime show; and Taylor Swift was in attendance to watch the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
Then there was Beyoncé, who decided to make the big game her moment by announcing new music with a commercial. Not only did she tease “Act II,” but she also dropped two new songs, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.”
Both tunes indicate that “Act II” is Beyoncé’s country era. “Texas Hold ‘Em” has a bit of a “Home” by Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros energy but with more twang, meaning it’s a jaunty and catchy folk-leaning number. “16 Carriages,” meanwhile, is more of a slow and dynamic country ballad. While neither song sounds like most of what Beyoncé has done lately, she’s a pro and she sounds as comfortable in this space as one might expect from a performer of her caliber.
Renaissance, Beyoncé’s previous album, is sometimes referred to as Act I: Renaissance, so it remains to be seen what the full title of “Act II” is (or if it does just end up being Act II). Whatever the case, it appears to be coming out soon.

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys have been together for quite some time. Overall, they are a music industry power couple that many look up to. On one side, you have a legendary producer. On the other side, you have an incredible singer-songwriter who has delivered a plethora of hits over the years. Well, last night, both of them became trending topics on social media. Of course, this was all thanks to the Super Bowl Halftime Show which was headlined by none other than Usher.
At one point in the performance, Keys could be seen in an incredible red outfit, sitting at a Piano. Although she ended up messing things up a tiny bit with her vocals in the beginning, the performance transitioned into a memorable one. However, some might say for the wrong reasons as Usher could be seen holding her from behind. Fans immediately began making memes on social media. Moreover, some were concerned for Swizz Beatz, who had to watch another man get close to his wife for the world to see. Many of these comments were made out of insecurity, and Swizz saw it all. It ultimately led to his Instagram post in which he praised his wife for her performance.

“Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!! y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium,” Swizz wrote. “Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants ! Go see GIANTS at @brooklynmuseum it’s open until July blessings.” Clearly, Swizz Beatz was a fan of the performance. Ultimately, he doesn’t care for the social media antics.

Subsequently, he urges fans to head over to Yeezy.com where he is selling shoes. Of course, he is talking about his Yeezy Pods which have proven to be extremely controversial due to their bizarre look. Either way, it was a huge look for Kanye, and the DIY aesthetic of the commercial proved to be the perfect viral marketing tactic.

Overall, this was a game that had a lot of ups and downs. However, the overtime was spectacular. Moreover, Kelce came through with over 90 yards after not doing much in the first half. He played a phenomenal game and Swift was there to watch him. After the game, the two headed out to the club and as you can imagine, videos of this hit the internet. Some thought that Kelce would propose to Taylor after the Super Bowl. However, it is probably too soon in their relationship for that to happen. Instead, it appears as though Kelce just wants to take his time. Perhaps if they go all the way to the Super Bowl next year, Kelce will come out and propose then. For now, he just wants to enjoy his big win with his family. Jason Kelce and his parents were at the game yesterday, and there is no doubt it was a big day for everyone.
