Drake Bell Defends Josh Peck Amid Backlash Over “Quiet On Set” Silence

Drake Bell has asked people to refrain from sending his Drake & Josh co-star Josh Peck hate over the former’s apparent silence on Bell’s abuse allegations. In a video posted online, Bell stated that Peck had reached out privately to him. Furthermore, he noted that he respected Peck’s choice to not speak publicly on the harrowing allegations.

Peck and Bell are not close, despite their on-screen chemistry in the early 2000s. Peck has said that the pair did not stay close after their show wrapped. This came to a head when Peck did not invite Bell to his wedding. Furthermore, Peck further distanced himself when Bell was accused, and convicted of, allegations surrounding a minor. The last time that the pair were seen together in public was at the 2017 VMAs. The moment has often been described as an “emotional reunion”.

Why Were People Hating On Josh Peck?

Bell was forced to make the statement after Peck received a wave of hate following the airing of Quiet On Set. The tell-all documentary about the abuse that ran rife in children’s TV, especially on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel sets, aired this week. As part of the two-part documentary, Drake Bell publicly revealed his identity as one of the minors who alleged sexual abuse at the hands of acting coach Brian Peck. Peck is not related to Bell’s Drake & Josh co-star despite the shared surname. Peck was convicted of a handful of charges. However, he was still able to make a return to children’s TV. Peck worked on The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody after his conviction.

Meanwhile, Josh Peck was seen posting comedy TikToks in the hours after the show aired. This led fans to inundate his social media with criticism and hate. They accused him of not being there for Bell despite their personal distance. At this time, Peck himself has not revealed any abuse or other allegations, be it like a figure like Brian Peck or notorious Nickelodeon showrunner Dan Schneider.

Future & Metro Boomin Drop Off Mysterious Album Trailer For “We Don’t Trust You”

Future and Metro Boomin have been a dynamic duo for a very long time. Overall, fans have wanted a collaborative album for ages. However, it has taken a long time for it to finally happen. Well, fans are finally getting their wish as tomorrow, the pair will be dropping We Don’t Trust You. Furthermore, on April 12th, they will be following that up with another collab album. It is believed that the second tape is going to be more r&b-focused, kind of like Future’s 2017 album HNDRXX. Although this is something that has yet to be confirmed.

Prior to the release of this album, we have already gotten some teasers here and there. For instance, we have gotten some snippets for the track “Type Sh*t” which will feature the likes of Playboi Carti and Travis Scott. A song called “Cinderella” with Scott may also end up on the project. However, all of this is up in the air at this point. The tracklist has yet to be released, and the fans are anticipating with all of their might. That said, the two dropped off a mysterious album trailer last night, and you can check it out below.

Future x Metro Drops Tomorrow

This new album trailer has some nice production over the top of it. However, it doesn’t do much in terms of giving us a sense of the project’s sound. Instead, it is being used as a way of teasing fans with the project they have been waiting so long for. Hopefully, it is able to live up to the expectations. As it stands, fans are expecting nothing less than an album-of-the-year contender. Knowing Metro’s track record, it’s likely to meet the hype.

Shohei Ohtani Embroiled In Gambling Scandal After Interpreter Fired

Last night, the Dodgers fired the longtime interpreter of Shohei Ohtani after an ESPN investigation revealed that the man had allegedly stolen millions from the MLB star to cover gambling debts. Originally, a spokesperson for Ohtani told ESPN that Ohtani had willingly given Ippei Mizuhara $4.5M to cover the debts. However, after Mizuhara spoke with ESPN himself, Ohtani’s camp issued a statement alleging “massive theft”, although they did not explicitly name Mizuhara. This all came to light due to a federal investigation into an illegal California betting operation. Matthew Bowyer reportedly received a million dollars from Ohtani’s bank account. However, sources close to the betting operation told ESPN that Bowyer only ever interacted with Mizuhara.

Of course, this has led to a wave of conspiracy theories. Some believe that Mizuhara was Ohtani’s intermediary, placing bets on the Dodgers star’s behalf. All bets that Mizuhara made were on sports other than baseball. However, at this time, Ohtani will not face discipline and is not under investigation himself over Mizuhara’s actions. Mizuhara told ESPN that he had asked Ohtani to pay off his debts last year and that he did not know that Bowyer’s outfit was illegal. This remains a developing story.

Shohei Ohtani Reveals Identity Of His Wife

Elsewhere, Ohtani recently revealed that his wife is former pro basketball player Mamiko Tanaka. Ohtani arrived at the Dodgers’ spring training with the news that he had “recently married someone” in his home country of Japan. However, he did not reveal the identity of his wife until now. Ohtani posted a photo of the pair as they boarded a plane to South Korea for the Dodgers’ season opener.

Tanaka played for Waseeda University and later for the Fujitsu Red Wave in Japan’s pro league. However, she stepped away from professional basketball last year, leading many fans to speculate that she had gotten married or was otherwise focusing on her personal life.

NBA star Lebron James recently launched his new “Mind The Game” podcast with JJ Reddick, which led Draymond Green to saying that he had “a bone to pick” with James. Draymond stated, “I’m a little upset that LeBron James is going on a podcast, and he still hasn’t been on ‘The Draymond Green Show.’ But when it’s your own thing, you kind of can’t say anything, so I guess I’ll live with it for now. Pick the bone with him that I got to pick with him later.” 

Cam’ron and Mase, the hosts of It Is What It Is sports podcast, reacted to Green’s statement, with Cam’ron comparing it to artists signing to Roc Nation and thinking they’re getting a verse from Jay-Z. Cam’ron and Mase laughed at the thought , with Cam adding that artists will get the Paper Planes hat and a “vintage pair of S. Dots.”

Members of Nardo Wick’s Entourage Turn Themselves In For “Viciously Beating Fan” Who Asked For Selfie

Reports have confirmed that two members of Nardo Wick’s entourage have turned themselves into authorities after they were accused of assaulting a fan that asked Wick for an autograph.

Zachary Benton, 34, and Edward Hamlett, 15, surrendered to Tampa Police and were charged with felony battery for “viciously beating fan” who suffered critical injuries including a brain bleed and concussion. 20-year-old George Obregon approached Nardo requesting a picture, but before he could snap a flick, Benton and Hamlett allegedly attacked Obregon, leaving him unconscious.

Obregon’s parents accused Wick of not cooperating with the police, but Wick denied involvement in the assault and offered to help the victim’s family.

As a producer, DJ Premier has worked with the likes of Big L (RIP), Big Daddy Kane, Bun B, Common, D’Angelo, Dr. Dre, The Game, Joey Bada$$, KRS-One, Ludacris, Mos Def, Nas, Snoop Dogg, The Notorious B.I.G {RIP), Jay-Z, Kanye West, Immortal Technique and Busta Rhymes. As a founding member of Gang Starr, Premier and the late Guru helped the New York boom-bap sound get national acclaim and be the standard of Hip Hop throughout the 90s.

Known for his smooth soul samples and steady drums, DJ Premier either worked with or influenced a majority of the more prominent and most respected producers in Hip Hop. As Gang Starr, DJ Premier, and Guru put out six studio albums; No More Mr. Nice Guy, Step in Arena, Daily Operation, Hard to Earn, Moment of Truth, and The Ownerz. Although the group never got any official accolades or received any music awards, their influence can be heard almost anywhere real Hip Hop is found.

Unfortunately, when you know a lot of people, it can be overwhelming. Some people want the world from you, while others can prove to be completely unreliable in times of need. Big Sean Drops Off “Anderson Estate Freestyle” Ahead Of New Album

Big Sean is a rapper who has always caught some flack for his “punnier” bars. However, he has never shied away from just being himself. In fact, in recent years, one could argue that Sean has ditched those puns and has been a bit more serious with his writing. Overall, fans have enjoyed this change quite a bit. His most recent albums have been lauded as the best of his career, and he continues to showcase his talents. He has been teasing a new album which should be released later this year, and fans have every reason to be excited, moving forward.

On Wednesday, Big Sean was able to surprise fans with a new freestyle called “Anderson Estate.” This freestyle was done over a new version of J Dilla’s “Drop” beat for The Pharcyde. Ultimately, this was a huge comeback freestyle for Sean, who showcased just how hungry he is. There are even some bars that reference Drake, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar. “I think where I lack most as an artist is consistency/ I just haven’t had the energy to compete with enemies,” he raps. “Or y’all so-called bigger three/ But every verse I lay, fans love to say, ‘Man, n****s is sleep!’” When it comes to best rapper alive conversation, Big Sean is oftentimes left out, and he wants to change that narrative.
