The return of Tekashi 6ix9ine was relatively lackluster. He embraced the whole snitching thing for a while but when he realized that didn’t work, it was back to the drawing board to figure out how to promote himself. He’s returned to antagonizing the rap game in the most disrespectful ways possible while claiming everyone else is clout-chasing.

Unfortunately, as many suspected all along, his antics seem to be a trap to lure rappers into being nabbed up by the feds. 600Breezy took to Twitter where he claimed that 6ix9ine “put” police on him after their little back-and-forth on Instagram. “Dude put police on me I been had a warrant for 3 weeks,” he wrote before sharing some advice to other rappers in the game based on his own recent experiences. “Leave buddy alone fr. It’s not a drill he is the feds,” he wrote. He didn’t mention any names but one fan replied, “He gotta be talking bout rat9ine.”

“1000%,” he responded. 

Following 6ix9ine’s confrontation with Meek Mill and then his subsequent shots towards the late King Von, 600Breezy made it clear that he wouldn’t be tolerating any disrespect towards his dead friends. Tekashi 6ix9ine hasn’t responded to 600Breezy’s claims yet but he seemingly got his message across, loud and clear.

LeBron James and his best friend Maverick Carter have been doing wonders in the business world as of late. One of their latest creations is the SpringHill Company, which is a media venture designed to tell authentic stories that will help educate and uplift people. LeBron’s More Than A Vote campaign has been intertwined with SpringHill Co recently, especially following the riots at the Capitol building.

After Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock won their elections in the state of Georgia, the company was set to release a video that celebrated the strides made by More Than A Vote to get people to the ballot box. Instead, they shifted their attention to the Capitol riots, as SpringHill felt like that was the more important topic to tackle.

During a piece by FastCompany which documented SpringHill’s rise in the media industry, LeBron offered his thoughts on what went down at the Capitol.

“There were always these entitled kids that would come to the park, and if things didn’t go their way, they would take their ball and leave and ruin it for everyone,” LeBron said. “I began to think about what I can do, as an ambassador, as a leader, as someone who has a platform.” 

LeBron’s comparison certainly seems like an accurate one especially given the fact that rioters were trying to protest an election they had clearly lost. Either way, LeBron and Carter’s SpringHill Co is doing great work right now, and that will continue to be the case for many years.

Even dating back to his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Lonzo Ball has always been surrounded by trade rumors. The oldest Ball brother was eventually traded to the New Orleans Pelicans during the summer of 2019, and he has been with New Orleans ever since. Recently, however, Ball’s name has shown up in trade rumors, once again, and it seemed like the Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls were the two teams most interested in him.

Now, according to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, Lonzo trade talks have completely “fizzled out” as the trade deadline looms closer. For now, it doesn’t seem like any teams are trying to make a play for Lonzo, although this doesn’t mean a deal won’t happen at the last minute.

Moving forward, the Pelicans are looking to completely build around Zion Williamson, as well as Brandon Ingram, who has been a huge part of the team’s success over the last year. While this Pelicans team still needs a whole lot of work, they have potential, and depending on how this next month goes, the team could decide to keep Lonzo for the long haul.
