Snoop Dogg Wants Control Of Death Row Records: “I Should Be Running That Sh*t”

Snoop Dogg has been in the rap game for nearly 30 years.

In those 30 years, the Doggystyle rapper has undergone countless transformations. From a pillar of the West Coast hip-hop movement, to his time as Snoop Lion, to his newfound status as an NFT social media influencer, Snoop has proven time and time again that he will achieve success in anything he puts his mind to.

And with his 19th studio album, The Algorithm, set to release this Friday, November 12, Tha Doggfather revealed what he wants to accomplish next.

In an appearance on Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Snoop revealed to hosts Wallo and Gillie da Kid that he wants control of Death Row Records.

“I think all of Death Row should be in my hands,” Snoop said. “I should be running that shit. Just like I’m [in] a position at Def Jam, Death Row means more to me because I helped create that. I think they should give me that and let me run that shit with the merchandise out, with the music all over the world. [Add] some new West Coast acts.”

Snoop was signed to Death Row, founded and by Suge Knight, from 1992-1998 and is correct in saying he helped create it. Along with Dr. Dre and later on, Tupac Shakur, Snoop was responsible for making Death Row the prominent force in West Coast hip-hop for the majority of the 90s, and nearly two-and-a-half decades after leaving the label, he wants back in.

Explaining that he would sign West Coast acts Roddy Ricch, Ty Dolla $ign and YG to Death Row, should he end up with any operating power, Snoop said he might end up with the label sooner rather than later.

“It’s just a lot of heat over there and it’s not being handled right,” he told Wallo and Gillie. “But a little birdie told me it may fly my way and if it do, you’ll get everything that I told you … If I can get Def Jam poppin’, what could I do with Death Row? Just imagine that.”

Travis Scott Reportedly Cancels His Day N Vegas Performance Because He’s ‘Too Distraught’ After Astroworld

This past weekend was supposed to be a highlight of the year for Travis Scott, but instead, it became one of the biggest tragedies of his life. At his Astroworld festival, eight people died and many more were injured due to a crowd surge during Scott’s set. The rapper was supposed to be a headliner at this upcoming weekend’s Day N Vegas festival, but understandably, it looks like he will not be performing as planned.

Variety reports that Scott has backed out of the performance because he is “too distraught to play,” according to the publication’s source. As of this post, Day N Vegas organizers have yet to announce any lineup changes related to Scott.

Indeed, Scott seemed deeply bothered by what happened in the statements he shared. His first public response was a written statement in which he said, “I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.” He reiterated that in a video he later shared, saying, “My fans really mean the world to me. I always just really want to leave them with a positive experience. […] I’m honestly just devastated. I could never imagine anything like this happening.”

Furthermore, Variety also reports that Scott intends to provide full refunds to all Astroworld ticketholders.

Odell Beckham Jr. Reportedly Wants To Go To This Team

Odell Beckham Jr is expected to be officially released by the Cleveland Browns today, which means he will get to go on Waivers. OBJ doesn’t have much of a choice in terms of where he ends up, and as it stands, the Detroit Lions are the number one priority on the Waiver Wire. Having said that, there is no guarantee when it comes to who is going to end up taking the superstar wide receiver.

At this point, there are various teams that could use him, and a lot of teams are taking a serious look at whether or not he would be worth it for the rest of the year. If you’re a contender who needs some wide receiver talent, then OBJ’s Waiver appearance will prove to be quite attractive.

In a report from Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, it was revealed that three teams, in particular, are very interested in OBJ’s services. Those teams are the New Orleans Saints, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. As Florio goes on to say, sources suggest that Beckham Jr actually wants to go to Seattle where he would get to play with Russell Wilson.

The Seahawks already have an incredible wide receiver core, although OBJ would certainly help bolster the offense. At this point, however, the Seahawks are in trouble as Russell Wilson has been out with a finger injury.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will bring you all of the latest updates on Beckham Jr’s status.

Rihanna Was Loving A$AP Rocky’s “Live.Love.A$AP” Set At ComplexCon

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are the coolest celebrity couple, and it’s not particularly close.

Between their fashion pedigrees, artistic accomplishments and laid-back personalities, Rocky and Rihanna seem to live on an entirely different plane than the rest of us mortals. From showing up late to the Met Gala, and still shutting the place down, to late-night dates in Harlem, everything they do together generates an aura unmatched by any other famous couple.

This past weekend, Rocky hit the stage at Complex‘s ComplexCon in Long Beach, California. To celebrate the 10th anniversary (and re-release on digital streaming platforms) of his debut mixtape, Live.Love.A$AP, the “Purple Swag” rapper donned a look reminiscent of his 2011 style and ran through the legendary tracklist.

And in an IG video posted by The Shade Room, Rihanna shows a ton of support for her man, right next to the stage.

As Rocky performs the first verse of “Peso,” Rihanna sings along and like seemingly every fan around her, holds her phone up to film the throwback performance. Rocking an all-red suit, Rihanna stands out from the rest of the ComplexCon crowd, but is clearly just as invested as everyone around her.

Rihanna’s appearance at ComplexCon follows her announcement that limited edition vinyls of her first eight albums, from 2005’s Music Of The Sun to 2016’s ANTI, are available for pre-order at shoprihanna.com, and will be accompanied by exclusive merchandise lines. And while it’s unclear when the “Desperado” singer will return with a new body of work, Rocky recently revealed that he has new music on the way while sitting down with Desus & Mero

What do you think of Rihanna showing up stageside for Rocky’s set at ComplexCon? Let us know down in the comments.

50 Cent Shares Photos Of Eminem As “White Boy Rick” In “BMF”

50 Cent is enraged at the STARZ network, which messed up the launch of his proudest directorial moment on Sunday night. After the latest episode of BMF went live for approximately three hours, the show’s executive producer claims that STARZ removed access to the episode, and now Fiddy is considering putting in an offer to buy the entire network.

Taking to Instagram following the tremendous mix-up on STARZ’s part, 50 said operations at the network are a “shit show.” He went on to share images of Eminem, who made a cameo in the episode as White Boy Rick, looking unrecognizable in the process.

“Episode 7 of BMF is the best work i have done directing to date. I’m disappointed that STARZ handled this so poorly,” wrote Fif. “I used my personal relationships to make things happen they couldn’t have made happen. @eminem thank you for doing this for me. I love you bro, you know i’m rolling wit you till the wheels fall off.”

In a follow-up post, 50 gave more insight into what happened with STARZ, revealing, “They called and told me they wanted to hold episode 7 back a week so We can roll right into GHOST Nov 21. I said cool i like that idea. Then these shit head people put the fucking episode out for 3 hours then take it down. This is not ok, when I get uncomfortable i make everybody uncomfortable now who getting fired? until you figure that out don’t call my phone respectfully.”

Stephen A. Smith Roasts The Cowboys After Horrible Loss To Broncos

Dak Prescott returned to the field for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and considering the fact that they were playing the Denver Broncos, there was this belief that they would win with ease and therefore extend their winning streak to seven games. In the end, however, the exact opposite happened as the Cowboys were terrible for three and a half quarters.

At one point, they were down by a score of 30-0 although they were able to mount a too little too late comeback, bringing the final score to 30-16. This result put a huge smile on the face of Stephen A. Smith, who has prided himself over the years on being one of the biggest haters the Cowboys could ever have.

After yesterday’s loss, Smith took to his Twitter account where he made sure to taunt the Cowboys and their supporters for what happened. He looked at the camera with a big smile on his face and essentially tried to humble their fanbase. In a separate post, Smith revealed that he was wearing a cowboy hat on First Take as a way to terrorize Michael Irving, who is the biggest Cowboys advocate over at ESPN.

Smith is always at his best after the Cowboys lose, and last night certainly proved that. Despite this, however, the team is 6-2, and they still have a long way to go before Smith can feel vindicated for his hatred.

Kenny Smith Addresses Zion Williamson’s Weight Issues: “It’s Not Hard, Eat Less”

As Zion Williamson continues to work his way back into playing condition, people have their concerns about his weight gain. Among those concerned is former NBA player and now pundit Kenny Smith.

In a video captured by TMZ in Los Angeles, Kenny “The Jet” Smith spoke about how Williamson’s passion should outweigh his desires to eat: “It’s not hard when it’s your profession. He puts the hours in to become a great basketball player, he’ll figure out those hours that he needs to keep his body right. It’s a commitment. It’s not hard, eat less. It’s not hard at all.”

While Smith feels that Zion should be able to weather this storm, Twitter has begun ridiculing Zion for his sudden weight gain.

The NBA season began on Oct. 19, as Zion’s New Orleans Pelicans are tied with the league’s worst record with one win and nine losses. Williamson has not played in any games this year, since he is rehabbing from summer foot surgery. When asked about his status on Nov. 1, head coach Willie Green said he was still weeks away from returning.

Much of the Pelicans’ future rides on Williamson’s availability and production when he does play, so once his foot is healthy enough to return, his weight could still be a major issue. It is unknown at the moment whether or not he or the Pelicans have taken any action to address his weight.

Do you agree with Kenny Smith?

Offset & His Team Involved In Fist Fight At ComplexCon: Watch

Offset made an appearance at ComplexCon 2021 this weekend, but it didn’t go as seamlessly as he had probably hoped. Just outside of the No Jumper booth, the Migos rapper was involved in a fistfight as members of his entourage appeared to jump a man.

The rapper was spotted wearing a red jacket with matching sneakers, walking toward somebody on his team when things got ugly. A member of Offset’s entourage seemingly threw punches at somebody, and the rapper rushed after them along with other people on his team. The altercation lasted less than a minute before Offset walked back toward the No Jumper booth.

There isn’t a very clear video of what exactly happened or what may have prompted the fight, but it doesn’t look as though the rapper personally threw any punches for now.

Offset, and the other members of Migos, have an extensive history of fighting in public. Offset has been accused in the past of beating up Lil Uzi Vert, and the three-man group allegedly laid hands on Justin LaBoy this year. Set has also had issues with Chris Brown over the years.
