French Montana’s ‘They Got Amnesia’ Tracklist Features Drake, Doja Cat, John Legend, And More

Maybe you saw the Squid Game meme floating around last week jokingly asking people to name five feature-less French Montana tracks. The Twitter trolls can cool their jets, because when French Montana releases They Got Amnesia, his fourth full-length album, on Friday, they’ll see that 10 of its 20 tracks have no featured guests. And while the Bronx rapper took it upon himself to respond, he doesn’t have anything to prove as a singular force.

That being said, the tracklist (below) for They Got Amnesia dropped today and the list of featured guests is eye-popping and shows how well-respected of a collaborator he is across the spectrum. In addition to the already released “Panicking” with Fivio Foreign, the album will feature appearances from Rick Ross, Doja Cat, Saweetie, John Legend, Pop Smoke, Drake, and a whole lot more.

They Got Amnesia is out 11/12 via Coke Boys, Bad Boy, Epic. Check out the full tracklist below and pre-order it here.

Lizzo Delivers An Emotional Speech At Missy Elliott’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony

Earlier today, Missy Elliott received her well-deserved star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. The iconic rapper not only inspired other Black women to follow their dreams of music industry stardom, she also inspired decades of rappers to work with Timbaland and then to copy the fish lens effect of her “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” video. Ok, I kid, but it is true. She’s a stylistic innovator and Monday morning’s ceremony featured Lizzo, Ciara and Mona Scott-Young all honoring Elliott.

But it was Lizzo’s speech that hit the strongest chord. The pop singer fought back tears as she professed her adulation for Elliott, telling her that “I saw a superstar in you, but I’d also seen myself. I’d never seen myself and you lived so boldly and so beautifully and so unapologetically and so out loud.”

Lizzo moved from emotional to elated, frequently yelling uncontrollably as she was overcome with emotions. “I only have one thing to say to Hollywood Blvd: You’re welcome!” she began. She stopped herself early on to let the Hollywood Blvd crowd know that she hadn’t prepared a speech since she thought she “was just coming to hang out.” Then she added “And now I’m about to cry!,” before delivering this impromptu, yet incredibly moving speech:

“You are the brightest star in the universe Missy. I’ve watched you my entire life. And I saw a superstar in you, but Ive also seen myself. I’d never seen myself and you lived so boldly and so beautifully and so unapologetically and so out loud. You have no idea what you have done for so many Black girls. We don’t deserve you. We don’t deserve Missy Elliott and still you continue to give to us, and given with your heart. Your genius. Let me just drop some words: Genius! Icon! Queen…queen of hip-hop! Visionary! I want to thank you so much for helping me in my career. I never in a million years thought I’d get to meet you and not only did I get to meet you, but we worked in the studio together! Thank you for making my dreams comes true. You have no idea what you mean to all of us Missy. We love you. We celebrate you. God Bless You. This is more than deserved. Let us continue to celebrate all of your accomplishments and your influence forever. We love you so much Missy. Congratulations.”

LeBron James Receives Concerning Injury Update

LeBron James is one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA and even in year 19, he remains the most important player on his team. The Los Angeles Lakers have gotten off to a slow start this season and a lot of it has to do with LeBron being out of the lineup with injuries. At first, he had an ankle issue but now he has an abdominal strain that has left him unable to play.

Fans have been hoping for some good news on the Lakers star, but now, it seems like things have gone from bad to worse. There are rumblings that he will be out for two weeks with this injury, and head coach Frank Vogel isn’t exactly giving any reasons to be optimistic.

According to reporter Jovan Buha, Vogel was asked about LeBron today and essentially claimed that there is no timeline for LeBron’s return to the lineup. This basically means that the superstar is in a complete state of limbo and that nothing can really be done to change the situation. Instead, the team and the fans will need to be patient.

The Lakers desperately need LeBron in order to be successful, and his extended injury is going to leave them in a hole, especially if Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis continue to struggle.

Stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates on this situation.

Rubi Rose Taunts DDG In Car He Claims She Stole

DDG and Rubi Rose were the one of the most documented hip-hop couples of the past year, as they both landed slots on the 2021 XXL Freshman list. While they have been on and off several times, it seems they are still involved in some capacity.

Early Sunday morning (Nov. 7), DDG tweeted that his ex, Rubi, had stolen his car, expressing that he had broke things off with her a while ago: “i been single for longer than y’all think. my car was stolen & she won’t give it back lol.”

Rubi soon caught wind of this claim, and did the opposite of deny it. She posted to Instagram a video her checking out her nails in his supposed car, seductively captioning it by telling him to return to get his car himself: “Daddy need to come Home and get his d!*k sucked.”

She followed this with another story of a black screen, simply stating: “City girls up 1000.”

It is essentially confirmed that the car Rubi was sitting in was DDG’s, as he posted several pictures with the same Lamborghini in October 2020.

This is quite literally the definition of playing games, as the duo has resorted to communicating subliminally through social media rather than directly.

But, they each have a history of doing so, as Rubi originally broke up with DDG on Twitter in March. Next, in July, they traded shots about height and sexual activity on Twitter again. Are you sensing a pattern?

Does this relationship dynamic sound familiar to you?

One of the greatest sneakers of all time is the Air Jordan 1 High OG, which first came out all the way back in 1985. This is a sneaker that continues to get brand new colorways and fans are always eager to cop the new styles. In recent years, Jordan Brand has also made a concerted effort to deliver dope offerings to female sneakerheads, and 2021 has certainly brought forth some great models. Heading into 2022, Jumpman is looking to keep up their momentum, and it seems like they have something special in-store.

In a new Instagram post from @zsneakerheadz, you can see a photoshop rendering for a brand new “Varsity Red” colorway that is made specifically for women. This shoe has a white base with red overlays and a grey cuff. What makes this shoe truly unique, however, is the fact that the swoosh is made out of chenille, which adds a nice bit of texture to the overall look of the shoe. This nice touch adds a cool feel to the shoe, and fans will certainly appreciate the extra effort.

It is expected that these will drop on February 4th of 2022 for a price of $170 USD, however, this has not yet been confirmed by the brand. With that in mind, stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest news and updates related to this shoe.

Playboi Carti Concert Issues Safety Warning After Astroworld Tragedy

The hip-hop community’s reaction to the tragic event of Astroworld on Friday was immediate and powerful. Rappers would be nowhere without their fans, and acknowledging their safety has become a point of emphasis in the last few days.

On Saturday (Nov. 6), one day removed from Astroworld, Playboi Carti’s show in Inglewood, CA for his King Vamp Tour made an announcement over the intercom as a safety warning for its concert goers: “If you guys do not follow the rules, if you guys jump over to the floor, if you guys do anything that they consider dangerous — not one, not two — but just one person messing up, this show is over. We are fighting, we are convincing them to let us do this show for you. But this show now, if it happens, is on you. So please, let’s have a good time, but be respectful, follow the rules and take care of each other. Can we do that? I’m here for you, we’re here for you, the artist is here to perform for you. But I can’t stress enough: Let’s have a good time, let’s be safe and enjoy the show.”

This announcement was met by applause by the crowd, and the show went on with no reported injuries. Perhaps this will become a recurring them for concerts and festivals in the future, as music fans have now become weary of the dire consequences of an out-of-control crowd.

Rapper IDK also made a similar announcement before his Nov. 6 show, mourning the loss of the Astroworld victims and pleading with his fans to stay safe: “When I heard the news, I was really devastated because I thought about my fans. I thought about the people that come to just have a good time. As we sit here today, and we have fun and have our little mosh pits and shit, please be mindful of the people around you. We in this place as a family, we got each other’s backs, right?”

It seems that rappers and venues have taken a lesson from the horrid events that took place in Houston. It remains to be seen if the rest of the dates on Playboi Carti’s tour will have the same guidelines, but surely fans will be more cognizant of their fellow attendees.

Drink Champs Announces Part 2 Of Kanye West Interview

Last week, Drink Champs unveiled the latest episode of their podcast featuring a very special guest, Kanye West. It was a two-and-a-half-hour episode that touched on everything from Jay-Z and The Blueprint to his marital problems and his issues with Drake. There was a lot to unpack in the interview, especially as responses from various people who Kanye West called out began surfacing.

 Brad Barket/Getty Images

It seems there’s more, though. Drink Champs announced that they’ll be debuting part two of their interview with Kanye West this Thursday. The intense trailer that was shared on the podcast’s official Instagram page included a few clips from the previous episode before cutting to a seemingly infuriated Kanye West. “So, we can’t meet? We can’t have a conversation? Y’all stupid mothafuckas. What the fuck is wrong with you?” Kanye says, though there’s no indication of who he’s speaking about in that particular clip.

Considering the entire premise of the show is for N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN to get their guests drunk, part two of the Kanye West interview is likely to be more explosive than part one.

REVOLT recently confirmed that the latest episode of Drink Champs featuring Ye broke the viewership record for the network. If part two is as heated as the trailer seems, then maybe they’ll set a new record by next weekend.
